It was ok, the pre-purchased wire cut tickets worked very well, the tour was nice, the David was really great to see despite the hordes of tourists. However, the price of single tickets remains really high, and the staff is not really courteous.
Awesome. The entrance to the academy is worth the room of Miguel Angel. The previous sculptures and the David. All he manages to capture with that pile of Carrara marble ... Sitting down to look at him and admire him is something he must do at least once in his life.
Wonderful, any photo or comment does not do it justice, you have to see it in person to see its perfection
Beautiful only drawback the staff that measures the temperature and at the exit not welcoming. To improve
The Davide exhibit includes many other beautiful, famous, or interesting pieces of art. We spent about 2 hours there between all the exhibits.
This is a must to go and see when I m Florence, stunning statue of David we went in the evening as it was much easier to get in.
Its fantastic piece of art, I was amazed to see big David statue
A must Visit to see the. David by Michelangelo, I did not find much row .. A masterpiece.
Overrated.
The only reason to go to the academy is to take a picture of it.
Due to the works it is possible to see only three rooms (including the David)
It takes your breath away is impeccably PERFECT. After seeing The David there is nothing more to see. BEAUTIFUL
With the covid, we were lucky to be able to see and approach David in excellent conditions, few people because of limited entry ...
For this site it is best to buy tickets online, to avoid the lines. For adults they are at 16.75 euros, if they are citizens of the European Union they are at 12.75.
It seemed spectacular to me, I did not imagine it was so big
The sculpture par excellence, Michelangelo is a visionary has brought out the perfection of a block of marble if you visit Florence it is a must to see it you will be enchanted for life ... it is a world heritage site it is an Italian heritage is one of our treasures
The sculptures before David surprised me even more!
The most amazing statue I've seen so far! It's 17 feet tall, and the natural lighting hits it perfectly. The detail Michelangelo put into it is incredible.
The museum has several sculptures, it is worth the visit, the statue of David is undoubtedly grand.
Perfection. It is so real that it seems to have to move at any moment
Due to Corona, the number of entries was limited. This gives you a great and unobstructed view of the statue
Seeing this work with your own eyes is an experience incomparable to that which is perceived by looking at it in photos or on TV!
Too expensive for just one work. Other pieces are unfinished. Loads of other stuff.
Florence, a marvel to see day and night to appreciate all its beauty. Michelangelo's David is a centerpiece of the city, but you shouldn't miss the rest of the city.
the place whivh give you overview of a beautiful city FLORENCE... its better to visit in early Morning to seek yr peace and just be yourself...
Dimensions and impressive nuances. It's worth seeing in person.
Seeing David is worth the effort. If you can not buy your tickets online and do not want to pay 45 euros to a group of intermediaries who approach you on the street, get ready for a queue of block and a half that lasts 3 hours.
AWESOME. ONE THING IS WHAT YOU TELL AND SEE FOR PHOTOS AND ANOTHER IN A PERSONAL FORM. YOU MUST SEE IT LIVE AND HAVE A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE.
The David always beautiful, in general the museum that contains it should be restored a little ....
quite very epic mhmm yup yeah mhm yes you should visit mhm yeah
He's a little smaller than I expected if you know what I mean.
The David is a sculpture made of marble (height 520 cm including the 108 cm base) by Michelangelo Buonarroti, datable between 1501 and the beginning of 1504 and preserved in the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. Widely considered a masterpiece of world sculpture, it is one of the emblems of the Renaissance as well as a symbol of Florence and Italy abroad. The work, which portrays the biblical hero as he prepares to face Goliath, was originally placed in Piazza della Signoria as a symbol of the Florentine Republic vigilant and victorious against its enemies. Always considered the ideal of male beauty in art
The ultimate representation of Beauty. Absolutely a Must in Florence.
For those who appreciate art and history, stopping at the galleria dell'accademia to see Davi becomes a must. I recommend a guided visit so that you can get even more out of the visit
Very big, really cool to go and see in real life, exquisite craftsmanship...
The best thing about the museum is the David, you practically pay to see him but he deserves every euro.
Beautiful valley place worth the wait to enter terrific
At first I was wondering if paying the entry fee was worth it just to say I've seen the statue in person. After spending time gazing at this masterpiece I am very glad I did. I didn't realise just how impressively big this piece is in person. The detail of human form in the marble sculpture is really something else! Very impressive and worth the entrance of 12 if nothing else but to spend time admiring this piece alone.
David's sculpture is perfect !!!
However the other works of the museum are very unimpressive !!!
You can see perfect replicas of David at the entrance of the Palazzo Vecchio and the Piazzale Michelangelo
Awesome the reality demonstrated in art !! It's worth visiting!!@
Nice to see. In my opinion, something too expensive.
But the statue was particularly quality ratio.
An audio tour is recommended.
The David sculpture outstanding, the tourist application very strong, one has to be prepared for long waiting times.
It is the most beautiful statue ever, the aesthetic canon of male beauty par excellence and the greatest manifesto of Renaissance art, being in front of him is something unique
