Located at La Cantera in Leon Springs, this hotel is higher end but with high fees & then more fees. Parking is $25 daily or choose to park for free at a clandestine dark area 2/10ths of a mile away with no security, then walk up hill for about 10 minutes before checking in! Staff is friendly but when contacted over the phone, they couldn't find my reservation although a second call with Crystal produced better results. Their basic queen rooms are clean & well kept with comfortable restrooms with private closed toilets with a phone. HVAC is easily controlled & adjusted. The bed was well complimented with fresh linens & numerous supportive pillows. The mattress was firm. A Keurig with well-stocked supplies occupies an attractive counter with a 44" LG TV, whose remote needed new batteries. The fast internet was open, no password or just plug in. The main downer was a 2 hour boring pitch for TimeShares as part of BlueGreen Vacations package. A total waste of time! They don't get you to buy a specific property but rather purchase points (or shares) & still pay maintenance fees on "points"! What was worse is the use of the better properties costs so many "points" it is unlikely to get a chance to use them without UPGRADING! They want you to enter into the 20k "points" tier @ $75k!!!

Fantastic weekend getaway Hotel in San Antonio but it was too hot! Beautiful new hotel. Next to Fiesta Texas. Toured The Dominion and spent time on the River Walk and Alamo. Lights up at night. Nice Mustang rental car to cruise around in!

for a $250/night room, I expected a little more luxurious than what they really have. The room is very small, no tub, everything has a charge. The only best thing there are the restaurants. This hotel also charged me additional $25 on top of the $250 a night rate... they said it is not included in the booking and they charge that on the time of your check out! Ridiculous! Will never ever come to this hotel again!

This place was so exceptional the most extravagant place Hotel I've ever been to wish I could have stayed and experienced it longer than I did but for the most part what I did see it was beautiful

Abousolotely the worst service at the bar downstairs. It was about 10:30 pm om friday and both bartenders were in such a hurry to leave and be done for the day. Not helpful at all. They wouldn't serve food, and they would not facilitate room service to be brought down to the bar. We had to go to the room and bring it our selves. Right at midnight they (Eddie and female bartender) stormed in the patio taking our drinks and stating we couldn't have any glass. Somehow no plastic cups could be provided and my beer on a can was a no no.

An elegant, first class hotel, the Eilan Hotel and Spa Resort is located next to Six Flags Theme Park in north San Antonio, and only 11 miles from Seaworld and 18 miles (30 minutes) from the San Antonio River Walk and Alamo. Sporting a first rate spa, two swimming pools, a nice fitness center, a cafe for light fare and a world class Sustenio restaurant, Eilan provides more than a simple hotel experience. The moment one arrives, staff make guests feel like royalty, from friendly valets to amazing front desk staff to in-room food and beverage service, etc. Several independent restaurants are located on the property only steps from the hotel, including Ruth Chris Steakhouse, among others. Rooms are clean and large, and deluxe suites are even designed for families with children. Prices are reasonable, especially given the elegant quality of the hotel and property. I highly recommend Eilan Hotel and Spa Resort in San Antonio!

This is an Amazing Resort, it's like a village in Italy, lots of restaurants and shuttles available to shops at LaCantera, the Palladium movie theater, six flags and the Rim , all up to 2 miles and shuttle rides are free for owners with guests.

Not the best venue for a conference if you have a lot of local attendees. If you don't want to pay for valet parking you have to walk a long way or wait for a golf cart to pick you up.
When you are in the conference room your phone will likely not have cell service. The doors in the conference room are loud when they close as people come and go. Very distracting.

We had a wonderful business meeting at the Eilan today and toured the pool area as well as the spa. They had very friendly staff. Unfortunately there were two scheduled power outages during the day and the Board Room became rather warm.

Horrible experience today! 2nd time staying here, based on today we will never be back!!! Room smells of smoke, 2nd room missing a TV so back to the stinky room because nothing but downgrades available. Ridiculously disappointed. Never would have imagined them not meeting basic expectations! Sad!!! D.

Non-valet parking for guests is quite far, but there is a shuttle between the lot and resort. The facilities are very well kept and decorations are quite elegant. Staff is friendly and very accomodating.

GUEST BEWARE!! Apon arrival we check in our newly purchase vehicle into valet service. (Our only option). We walked by our vehicle several time as we entered and left the hotel over the course of the next 24 hrs as it was parked near the entrance. On the third morning we ask for our car from valet . They bring our vehicle to the entrance with significant damage to the front passenger side and wheel. The staff was clearly uncomfortable one we pointed out the damage they told us not to worry and managment would be in touch with us as it was a holiday. We attempted several times over the weekend to contact the managment, every time with meet with compassion that they would handle the situation. After arriving back home we received an email stating that the damage was not their responsibility and did not take place on their property. After several attempts to resolve this matter, we have now retained legal counsel.. BEWARE . If you choose to stay here take photos of your vehicle every time you valet check!!!

I booked this hotel for my parents for Christmas 2018. They have enjoyed so much that I extended an additional night. Guest Service Supervisor, Princie Martinez was exceptional. She assisted me with ensuring my parents were well accommodated during their Holiday stay. 5 stars to the staff for taking care of guests! I will definitely remember and refer Eilan to future guests in San Antonio.

Amazing experience!

Amazing experience!
To spend a day at 6-flags Fiesta Texas and hace to drive to Austin, we decided We to spend 2 nights here. I wish we stayed for more.

The rooms are spacious, some with great balconies and a wonderful view.
The hotel is HUGE. There are 2 pools, my kid played in the one outside and loved it.

The signature massage - just raised the bar to all the massages I get from this point on. I love massages, and this hit the knot right on the head. It comes with high towels wrapped around your feet.. Hot pillow on your shoulders, aroma therapy (couple of times through the hour long massage) and the grand final with hot stones.

I have a 17 month old Gift Certificate for $250 which I had forgotten about. It does *NOT* have an expiration date anywhere on the document. I decided to call Eilan Spa to make sure it was still valid, I gave the Gift Certificafe number to the receptionist, she put on me on hold while she asked and confirmed YES, you can book your treatment. Days later (today 5/23/2019) I went in person to book and the receptionist said that they would not honor the certificate, "it's expired", even though the document has no expiration date and less than a week ago they told me on the phone that it was still valid. I wish they hadn't made me lose my time and had told me the truth when I first called.

The little shop has delicious breakfast tacos, as long as they don't run out. The room could've been a little cleaner, just mostly dusty. Fabrice (houseman), William (bell/ driver) and Alexis (front desk) are the reason for four stars instead of three. Their hospitality made us feel warm and I appreciated their attention to detail.

I would rate it zero stars if I could. Stay away from this place. Here's what lead me to this review.

1) Had the worst 2 hour dining experience at the Sustenio. Our dopey inattentive waitress screwed up our drinks, our apps, our sides, and our bills. To make matters worse, she increased the tip amount on my bill after we left, which is fraud and forgery. When I saw the charge on my card, I called the manager immediately. I was furious. That coward joke of a manager assured me he'd look into it and take care of it, but I never heard back from him. When I tried to call back, I was given the run around and couldn't speak to him. I couldn't find my reciept, so I couldn't do anything more about it. Lesson learned. Always keep your receipts!

2) Was told we could check-in at 3pm. Tried to check-in at 3pm, but our rooms hadn't been cleaned yet. Had to wait for 45 minutes in the lobby with all of our luggage. What nice resort doesn't have something as simple as housekeeping done on time? This is the most basic function of a hotel, and I think it speaks volumes about how dysfunctional the entire resort truly is.

3) We had no hot water when we finally got to our room. The front desk gal said I needed to wait in my room for an engineer to come by. After 30 minutes go by, I go downstairs. She says it's a problem with the entire hotel, and they are working on it. We finally get hot water 3 hours later, but I wish she hadn't wasted 30 minutes of my time when I could have been spending it with my nephews and nieces.

In summary, you couldn't pay me to stay here again, but if you're looking for a place that's run by idiots and staffed by criminals, then please, be their guest.

Purchased a special spa package for my wife to give her some time away and to relax over the summer. We were unaware that the spa was going to some renovations thus she was treated in a different area. Although her experience was good, but not the best, the massage she said was great, but the customer service from Lucy a representative with Eilan, was awesome. She took care of my wife, invited her to come back and see the spa once the renovations were done and the level of her commitment to excellent service as top notch. Thank you Lucy!

Clean, beautiful place. Breakfast here was delicious and decent gym. Nice outdoor and indoor pool. We also enjoyed the tennis court, just be sure to have your own gear. Note... valet service is mandatory, but it was super convenient

We whole family was able to enjoy The Eilan Hotel Resort, Thanks to Bluegreen Vacation. The Hotel was amazing including their outdoor pool w/bar and gym. We didn't get a chance to eat in their restaurant but there were others in close walking distance. If I has to chose my favorite part it would be getting to ride on the back of the shuttle cart to and from our parking space.

Stayed at this property to celebrate anniversary and it was AWESOME. I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member that stays 100+ nights per year at other Marriott hotels and can say this is one of the very best.

The hotel is set in the middle of a very upscale residential property. We received outstanding service from the time we checked in until checkout.

The amenities are too numerous to name, but we enjoyed the wonderful outside resort pool, inside lap pool, virtual golf, restaurant, coffee bar, and room service. All were excellent.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to get away or just a nice upscale stop for business travelers. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Very nicely setup rooms. Classy and comfortable with a nice layout and great amenities. Check in took a while because only one desk agent was working. And unless you want to drive, you're pretty much limited to the hotel restaurants.

Valet- $35 1/5 stars

Valet- $35 1/5 stars
- service was horrible, took forever, out of control (no order)

Check-in- 1/5 stars
- service horrible, checked in online, no smile, rude, felt like I was bothering her

Night manager- 5/5 stars
- friendly, awesome, all over it... wish I remembered his name to give him a shout out

Gym- 4/5 stars
- nice equipment, clean, NEEDS WATER! (All machines were empty or broken)

Rooms- 3/5 stars
- nice, but not $300 nice, especially when you have status and can't extend check out a hour. Bathrooms are only 1 person friendly, so if you're sharing with a friend it's difficult to get ready at the same time... ie toilet , shower and sink all in the same room with no dividers

Facility- 3/5 stars
Beautiful place, but empty, shops weren't that great.

Overall not up to the hype I thought it was. Traveling every week and being in a hotel more than I'm home I've had better service at an extended stay.

My husband and I were celebrating our 27th Wedding anniversary. The kitchen staff got the order wrong and my husband had to eat alone because it took too long for them to bring up my dinner. He claimed the food is God awful!! Save your money and eat somewhere else.
