Amazing! Both during the day and night. Be careful when eating at restaurants within walking distance. Always ask what the price is before you order, if it is not listed, specially for beer/cocktails. Otherwise, you will get a huge surprise on your bill. They'll try to get you to order a large and the price jump is huge. Be careful and enjoy.

No time to go up today. Will arrive early tomorrow and take the stairs halfway. The security fencing takes away from the experience. But, you're at an important center of engineering history. See how many of the names of science, inscribed around the first platform, are recognizable.

What an experience! Definitely visit the top and buy your tickets before hand. If your part of a tour guide, arrive early as there is construction around the base that prohibits movement around some streets. Overall the skip the line fee was worth it!

A beautiful structure. It s too bad it s surrounded by a big ugly fence and security checkpoints but I guess that s the times we live in. We went at night and had beautiful views. It was freezing cold and very windy so bundle up!!

After seeing it at night all lit up and shimmering; a day visit to the summit was a must. A beautiful clear day with absolutely no wind and 14 degrees Celsius in February!
It was the most perfect highlight of our trip.

Was cool to see and that's about it! Line up was hugh, so we didn't get to go up it. Worth to visit as it is such an iconic landmark. We were out one night and went past, seemed a lot nicer at night with all the lights on.

To escape lines get your tickets online, otherwise be ready to stay 30 min outside for security check and 1.30-2 hours for tickets purchase. It s worth going all the to the top of the Eiffel for the most stunning view of Paris. It s windy out there. The best timing to visit Eiffel is close to the sunset so you get to see day and night Tower.

Awesome. The view is fantastic. It can be crowded so you'd better make an online reservation before your visit. Otherwise you may have to wait in the long queue fir a long time. A boat tour is adviced after the visit to the tower. You can find them easily. The park in front of the tower is very beautiful and full of people. Don't forget to take your drinks with you to the park.

It was a dream to visit France and most importantly to visit Eiffel Tower (one of the seven wonders of the world which each of us have learnt during our childhood and have always dreamt of visiting it)

This place is mesmerising and a must go if you are visiting France.

Amazing place and great to be able to tick it off the bucket list although when visiting again I would definitely not be a cheap skate and just pay the extra to use the lift! That's a whole lotta stairs

This beauty is absolutely worth a trip!
It's so magnificent and charming, so endearing and grand, so beautiful and magnetic!
The first time you lay your eyes on the Eiffel from close quarters, you CANNOT not be mesmerized.
The experience can't be expressed in words.

Don't miss the shimmering lights at the start of every hour after 9pm!

The icon of Paris, if not the whole of France. It's an historical landmark and such a beautiful building and architecture. Everytime I go there with the intention of going to the viewing platform, the queues are either too long, or the weather overcast. But I still hold hope to visit this landmark again in the near future.

Very good experience... Very good view from the EiffelTop, I went half the way up by stairs and then the lift to reach the top... It was really a great experience and I got very good opportunity to meet different people from different countries. And in the evening, lighting was really awesome

The place because of which Paris city is famous. One of the 7 wonders of the world. Try to reach this place at the time of sunset for enjoying the scenery and clicking pictures. Generally there is a queue with average waiting time of about 2 hours. The view beside the Eiffel Tower is beautiful and also it is worth watching from the top of Eiffel Tower.

Magnificent structure that leaves you in complete awe of human architecture. Truly a wonder of the world. View from the top is breathtakingly gorgeous. The food market at the back of Eiffel Tower is quite vibrant. Only downside was the dusty and uneven area behind Eiffel approaching towards marketplace. We had a pram that's why more troublesome for us.

This is obviously a must-see for anyone visiting Paris. I had a fantastic experience. The lines for the elevators can be fairly long so I recommend getting the fast line pass. The fast line was about 20 minute wait for the first elevator and the second elevator was also a long wait. Very cool!

Such a beautiful building, literally awe inspiring. The long walk up all the stairs is quite intensely difficult if you re not fairly fit, but it s very much worth it! You can take the lifts, but in my view the steps is a more fun experience.

The views as you ascend are absolutely stunning; this is a truly unique way to see Paris.

Go early (try to get in when they first open) so you have a chance of getting through the queues in a reasonable time.

We had lunch in the restaurant in the tower and it was quite enjoyable, but nothing particularly special.

Eiffel tower is undoubtedly the most beautiful one in the world. Wait for twinkling of it at night, which will be happening every hour for 5 minutes once it is dark. And if your lucky enough then may get tickets for top floor( our tour guide told that many times they close topfloor) enjoy the mesmerising view. One advice - If you want to buy a souvenir then you will get on second and ground floor of tower (45 euros) undoubtedly quality is supreme. However you will get outside on street less than 20 euros the big one and quality is not bad but you have to bargain.

Wow! Note that security is tight and don t bring knives etc (picknick before or after: beware). Still a must see highlight in Paris. Pre-booking access pass is essential to prevent a long wait up. Remember the climb by stairs is a long way up and much more enjoyable on the way down.

I have no words to describe one the most iconic places on Earth. But it deserves the title: the modern lines, the majestic gardens, the palaces surrounding it and of course the beautiful views of Paris fro the top.

At any time of the day you can enjoy different aspects of it by the changes of the sunlight. PS: go in mid-afternoon, visit all you can and then lay down in the grass to wait for the Eiffel tower to be lit up. Please note in evening (in winters) you won't last up there for more then 10 mins therefore, make sure you wrap yourself properly.

Very long queue under the suffocating heat of a Parisian summer, however for nonlocals it is all worth it for the view. A word of advice, ensure to bring drinks and snacks with you as they are completely OVERPRICED. Too many tourists found themselves trapped between the decision of leaving the queue for an affordable drink or spending 20 on a drink and a sandwich.

Absolutely breathtaking! Be prepared to queue for a while though, especially for the lift if you do not fancy the stairs. An absolute must if you're in Paris.
FYI - we took a small suitcase (just got off the eurostar) and it had to fit into one of the hand baggage things airports use, anything bigger and you aren't allowed it inside.

If you plan to visit Eiffel tower then make sure you do it in the morning before the crowd erupts at the most visited site of Paris. Also, do buy a pass for the summit access to get some breathtaking views of the city. The first elevator will take you to the second level and then another one to the top. You can either stay at the enclosed level at the top or climb one more level for an open air experience.

Also the view from above was very unique any time.

The Eiffel Tower is a landmark and an early exampl...

The Eiffel Tower is a landmark and an early example of wrought-iron construction on a gigantic scale. It was designed and built by the French civil engineer Gustave Alexandre Eiffel for the Paris World s Fair of 1889. The tower, without its modern broadcasting antennae, is 984 ft high. The lower section consists of four immense arched legs set on masonry piers. The legs curve inward until they unite in a single tapered tower. Platforms, each with an observation deck, are at three levels; on the first is also a restaurant. The tower, constructed of about 7000 tons of iron, has stairs and elevators. A meteorological station, a radio communications station, and a television transmission antenna, as well as a suite of rooms that were used by Eiffel are located near the top of the tower.

Eiffel s work combined expert craftsmanship and graceful design. Completed in 1884, it was for a time the highest bridge in the world, winning Eiffel s factory a worldwide reputation for excellence. Eiffel cast Frederic Auguste Bartholdi s colossal statue Liberty Enlightening the World, which was dedicated in New York in 1886. Soon after, he began work on his greatest project, the building of the Eiffel Tower. It was completed in 1889 for the celebration of the centennial of the French Revolution (1789-1799). Eiffel was not a popular man when he started building the huge steel-frame tower that would overlook Paris. The structure was just too different and the critics didn t like it at all. In 1887, the leading artists of Paris signed a petition to have what they regarded as a monstrosity torn down immediately. Fortunately for Paris, their call was ignored. And though Parisians didn t like it at first, they began to grow fond of the structure they initially called a Cyclops and a skeleton. The Eiffel Tower was completed in 1889, just in time to show off for the World s Fair, being held that year in Paris. The tower was also a sign of things to come. Eiffel was taking full advantage of a new building material, structural steel. With it he took the first step in creating what would become the modern skyscraper.

The imposing tower-constructed of 7,000 tons of iron in 18,000 parts held together by 2,500,000 rivets rises to a height of 984 ft and continues to dominate the Paris skyline. In the early 1890 s Eiffel gave up the daily management of his business and became absorbed in the new science of aerodynamics.

Emile Nouguier and Maurice Koechlin, the two chief engineers in Eiffel s company, had the idea for a very tall tower in June 1884. It was to be designed like a large pylon with four columns of lattice work girders, separated at the base and coming together at the top, and joined to each other by more metal girders at regular intervals. The company had by this time mastered perfectly the principle of building bridge supports. The tower project was a bold extension of this principle up to a height of 300 meters, equivalent to the symbolic figure of 1000 ft. On September 18 1884 Eiffel registered a patent for a new figuration allowing the construction of metal supports and pylons capable of exceeding a height of 300 meters

We went all the way to the top and it was well worth the money. The security is tight so be ready to be searched at least 2 times, and in the restrooms. Not complaining, just wish I hadn t brought so many things, next time. I will for sure be back. One thing not so pleasant is when you walk out there are very pushy salesman peddling junk that bombard you with come on buy it. It was an amazing view.

Unfortunately we weren't able to go ON the eifeltower because we reserved tickets from an external provider and didnt check the email good enough wich told us that the meeting point for this tour is not INSIDE the eifeltower area. The meeting point was outside and we missed the tour bye a couple minuts.on top of that I had to give my bottle of champagne away that I just bought for a nice evening. But it was still nice there. During the springtime it smells amazing from the blooming flowers and everything starts to green there.
There was at least 50 street vendors selling the same items. Eifeltowers in every size blinking and not blinking...
But they really accepted a "no" and where not too aggressive.
So after all it was still a nice trip there...
Oh... and if you have the time... watch it bye night. The light show is amazing

When it comes to places that must be on your bucket list . Paris France should be one of the top. The Eiffel tower remains one of the most beautiful man made landmarks in the world and the view is magnificent from any angle you see it from. You can take a lift to different floors of the tower to see the beautiful city of Paris. I'd recommend to visit it both during the day and at night when they light it.

Where do you start, this is the reason to come to Paris. Pictures do no justice and you must see it. I recommend coming in from the Palais du Trocadero. Plan for some time and best in late evening so you see daylight and night views.

The Eiffel Tour?! Come on! How touristy?! It s true, but it s such a symbol of Paris. It s beautiful at night. It s a symbol of love and romance. Every angle is more stunning than the last. You have to just stand and admire. When I was here ten years ago, we had a picnic on the grass under the tower. You gotta try it at least once.

Amazing experience, it's cheaper if you are under 21 so definitely worth going if you are younger. Dont bother booking online, it's very expensive and you'll still have to wait to go up. The queues are very long so get there nice and early If you have other things planned.

Peace to all of you. I am from Indonesia. If there is excess money, I want to visit here. I want to see the building. Want to see how tall. Because this building is very famous in my city. Hopefully my prayer for visiting here can be answered. Named after the designer, Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel Tower is the tallest building in Paris and one of the most famous structures in the world.
