You come Paris and if you are not go to Eiffel than full tour is incomplete. When I make plan to visit Paris, I thought to visit Eiffel Tower. It's really nice to see this popular place. Spending some fee anyone can go top of Eiffel. It's look very nice when light show starts. You can enjoy light show every 30 min after.

Best Tower. The Eiffel Tower is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Constructed from 1887 to 1889 as the entrance to the 1889 World's Fair, it was initially criticised by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, but it has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognisable structures in the world. The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world; 6.91 million people ascended it in 2015.

Everyone wants to visit this place so its very crowded everyday. And crowd management is poor. If you have planned to go up on tower its advised to take online tickets for morning slot (9:00am) and reach at tower before 8.30 for security check in.
Bring something to eat and water to drink in q.
Keep yourself with light weight baggage.
Bring shades and cap if visiting during summer. Njoy the monument.

Probably one of my favourite towers!

Probably one of my favourite towers!

Jokes aside, despite my distain for Paris as a city if you do decide to visit this is a must-see (although everyone who visits Paris knows this).

Walking through the crowded streets of one of Europe's dirtiest cities dodging the smell of human waste, overfilled bins and endless plumes of super-king smoke. You may indeed find yourself in the presence of this metal monolith, towering over the city in somewhat couture fashion.

If you visit this city, come for two days, see the Eiffel tower, eat some overpriced garlic covered food and continue your trip through some less heavily marketed cities.

"A French Icon to the Joy of the Entire Humanity"

While I was walking around this beautiful structure, I could feel the pride of all French people. This Tower is for the French as the Liberty Statue is for the Americans. Both of them have a great meaning through history.

I did not have enough time to jump into the elevator to truly enjoy the view and the structure, but I was able to enjoy this magnificent piece of history and architecture from the distance.

You can find locks on the bridges nearby, meaning the love of those foreigners who declared their feelings to their loved ones in front of this marvelous edification. Paris is synonym of love, romance, passion and history

It's the Eiffel Tower, I mean it is amazing. The lack of a star is for the crazy lines and cost to go up the Eiffel Tower. This was in March and there were so many people. I cannot imagine the crowds during the busy season.

You have to walk up! I think the experience of walking higher and higher above the city is amazing. You finally make it to the middle section and you re able to walk 360 around the whole tower. It s amazing what you can see from that view.

Loved it! A beautiful surrounding park as well for a picnic.

Amazing attraction. A beautiful mega structure. The architecture is amazing considering it s was made more than 100 years ago. Would absolutely definitely recommended going to the top floor. Views are amazing from the top. Best time to go would be 1hr before sunset and stay there until after sunset so you get to see both day time, sunset and night time view. Sunset looks amazing from the top. Night views are best. Suggest purchasing your tickets online. Beware ques are very long so allow atleast 1hr to get to the top.

It was amazing to visit such a popular and historical landmark. I actually saw Harry Styles but when I called him to see if I could get a picture, he ignored me. It turned out that it wasn't him, instead it was american rapper and media personality Snoop Dog. Honestly I'm not sure how I mixed them up but it was an experience nonetheless.

Lovely piece of architecture.

Make sure to go at night to see the light show.

Please avoid the pickpockets and people trying to sell you things.

It was really pretty we went at night and during the day. it was however almost over a 2 hour wait to get to the top (top) we were in line for like 90 mins and then another line to get into elevator. The gist shops up there have the same stuff you can get at the bottom and ground level. So I would not recommend buying anything at the top stores. we also unfortunately get to eat at any of the restaurants as all the reservations were booked up to 4 weeks in advanced when I checked the day before I left to go to France haha. it was not that expensive it was only less than 13 euros to get to the very top. its just a long wait, and when we finally get down the line was even longer. The second floor is actually better than the very top floor since the top (top) is smaller it is also more crowded and hard to take pictures. If anything just go to the second floor. and don't bring your nicest shoes as on the ground floor there is mostly gravel and a little dusty so your shoes will get dirty. also don't buy any of the Eiffel tower key chains anywhere else like a store because there are literally street vendors selling them at the ground floor near the Eiffel tower for 5 for 1 euro. its a deal u cannot miss. And most people there will speak English and Spanish.

I mean, it s kinda weird that it apparently only exerts as much pressure on the earth as a house but I ain t no engineer! Too many people here, just like every other place in this old town. This old town? What a way to put it eh? These images are from 2009 eh, wish I had the sounds though, those were more interesting

The Eiffel Tower erected for a world exhibition in the 19th century is just impressive. It's bigger than you'll expect and located pretty centrally in Paris. If you get the chance you should definitely take an elevator up all the way and take in some breathtaking views of Paris. Righteously one of the most famous sights in Paris.

You have to visit once in life time it's very nice place, but it's difficult to get nice photos you can't cover from top to bottom unless you have wide angle or fish eye lens, if you are visiting here better to bring one of these Len's if you are mad about photos, if not still you can enjoy the beauty of Eiffel tower, it looks like made up with gold in night time with light effects morning it will be brown. So all the best you can enjoy for sure....

A gigantic monument located in Paris that serves as a tourist attraction to millions of people all year round. It has become synonymous with the lively and attractive city of Paris.
You do not need to pay to enter the gated arena, but you'd go through a security check and your bags would be looked into to ascertain the place is safe for you and everyone.
You'd quickly forget the checks as soon as you get into the Eiffel Tower arena which is neat and very spacious. You are allowed to take pictures but get ready to have lots of people next to you or walking past while you take your pose, as there's usually a huge crowd at the Tower especially during the summer.
There are souvenir stores and restaurants within the arena. You can get something to eat even on the 1st floor of the Tower if you decide to climb up. However, you'd have to pay a fee to go up the Eiffel Tower. You can climb up the stairs or go by cable car to get a great view from the Tower.
Be very careful while moving around, as some pick pockets are also within the arena and can steal your valuables without your knowledge.
Overall, Eiffel Tower is a beautiful place to visit. It is a must-see if you go to Paris.

It's pretty hard to not give the Eiffel Tower 5 stars since it's such an amazing structure. It's fun to lay down on the lawn and just look up in awe. The guys selling alcohol get very annoying but it is nice to have a drink while enjoying the view.

We went on a really beautiful day so we queued for two hours to get to the top but it was worth it !
The cost was 25 Euros each but it was worth it. We even had a flute of Champagne at the top which was 13 Euros.

You have to do it while being in Paris... Eiffel Tower is a symbol of France, as well as Louvers you don't want to miss it. However, book your visit ahead, otherwise you'll spend hours in lines. Very crowded. And I recommend climbing to the very top of it, terrific view from there.

Visited on 10th October 2019 . The place is wonderful and very romantic . However the area is utterly mismanaged . It's full of illegal immigrants and you hear of frequent pick pocketing . The entry lines are long and there are very few counters compared to number of visitors . We have to stand almost 3 hours in que to get an entry .The view from level 2 & 3 is mesmerizing.

You must go and see the view of the top of the tower, if you don't have acrophobia... Anyway, that's one of the most popular towers, and you shouldn't miss to go on a sightseeing here. And, how I said, the view of it really worth it - the perfect place to take professional pictures, which are 100% going to be stunning. But, if you're hungry, you have to wait a lot to get a sandwich and a cup of coffee. And they are a bit pricey...Also it's so crowded, so you have to wait too long to get on there and to get off here.

It's it is possible not to like this wonder. The infra has changed along the years and since last time I've been there. There is a redome around the park now. I recomend any healthy person to go by stairs, as it is amazing to see Paris through the tower. But it is also nice to use the lift if you have more time and money to spare (and if it's not too gloomy or cloudy). There is free wifi in the area, so yoir posts will be guaranteed. And if you like using the scooters, I recommend you to use it to get there too.

Just amazing!! Beautiful view!!

Security system was stressful, and very congested
Other wise it was not bad..
Constructed from 1887 89 as the entrance to the 1889 World's Fair, it was initially criticized by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, but it has become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognisable structures in the world.[3] The Eiffel Tower is the most-visited paid monument in the world; 6.91 million people ascended it in 2015.

The tower is 324 metres (1,063 ft) tall, about the same height as an 81-storey building, and the tallest structure in Paris. Its base is square, measuring 125 metres (410 ft) on each side. During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to become the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years until the Chrysler Building in New York City was finished in 1930. Due to the addition of a broadcasting aerial at the top of the tower in 1957, it is now taller than the Chrysler Building by 5.2 metres (17 ft). Excluding transmitters, the Eiffel Tower is the second tallest free-standing structure in France after the Millau Viaduct.

The tower has three levels for visitors, with restaurants on the first and second levels. The top level's upper platform is 276 m (906 ft) above the ground the highest observation deck accessible to the public in the European Union. Tickets can be purchased to ascend by stairs or lift to the first and second levels. The climb from ground level to the first level is over 300 steps, as is the climb from the first level to the second. Although there is a staircase to the top level, it is usually accessible only by lift.

No pictura can do it justice. The sheer size of it, when looking at it from the ground is enough to leave one speechless. And let's not forget the view at the very top which is truly enchanting.
No trip to Paris of mine is done until we've gone to the Eiffel tower.

Beautiful place. Definitely a must visit when in Paris. A little bit crowded but that is expected considering how famous the Eiffel Tower is. Great for taking beautiful photos in front of it or from the Tower itself. You can climb the stairs or use the elevator but prices for that are different.

I highly recommend paying to go to the very top of the Eiffel tower. You get to stop on all the levels and each offers a different view and experience. In the morning you can catch the shadow of the tower in your photos.

It's a beautiful piece of history and a marvel in engineering. However, just to mention few things about Customer Service - They are not up to the European standard on the following reasons -
1) Security - Very Rude, if you don't speak french they will never take an effort to explain you things politely.
2) Single Mother with small babies and pregnant women - there is no special treatment for them!! It was really upsetting to see them struggling in the queue and the security guards/customer service turned a blind eye on them.

Tower is beautiful however the customer service awful.

Whether you're lucky enough to have visited Paris ...

Whether you're lucky enough to have visited Paris or have only ever dreamed of going there, chances are you know of the French capital's most beloved landmark: the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower, La Tour Eiffel in French, was the main exhibit of the Paris Exposition or World's Fair of 1889. It was constructed to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution and to demonstrate France's industrial prowess to the world.

"Although at the beginning it was seen as 'the ugliest building in Paris,' soon it became the symbol of the city," said Tea Gudek Snajdar, an Amsterdam-based art historian, museum docent and a blogger at Culture Tourist. Gustave Eiffel, a French civil engineer, is usually credited with designing the tower that bears his name. However, it was actually two lesser-known men, Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nouguier, who came up with the original drawings for the monument. Kochlin and Nouguier were the chief engineers for the Compagnie des Etablissements Eiffel Gustave Eiffel's engineering firm. Together with Eiffel and a French architect, Stephen Sauvestre, the engineers submitted their plans to a contest that would determine the centerpiece for the 1889 World's Fair in Paris.

The Eiffel company's design won, and construction of the wrought-iron tower began in July 1887. But not everyone in Paris was thrilled with the idea of a giant metal monument looming over the city.

Even to contemporary eyes, the Eiffel Tower is unique. But in the late 19th century, nothing had been seen like it. "Modern architecture was emerging slightly in Paris before the Eiffel Tower. But it was doing it in a very shy way," said Gudek Snajdar. Iron, which was newly popular as a building material because of the Industrial Revolution, became a cornerstone of modern architecture. But in 1887, it had only appeared internally, as support structures, or in unimportant buildings like hothouses, factories and bridges.

The amazing symbol of France, I mean, one of them, and I loved it. Book your ticket in advance and be prepared to the mass. Also good to know that bad weather can influence it s accessibility, I mean the upper floors. The staff is really nice, helpful and professional. The view is amazing and also the park around it. Also good idea to walk in it s neighborhood. Beware of pickpockets, there are warning signs all around, also the fake souvenir sellers. Bottles are not allowed; take your water in a plastic one, not bigger than 0,5 l, approx. 33,8 oz.

When I visited this place there was suddenly a lot of glass around the tower and you had to wait in line to get in. My tip is if you look at the tower from the grass fields go to the right side of the tower the lines are way shorter over there:). There were a lot of people who were trying desperately to sell me stuff. But overall a great experience only sad that that glass was around the tower.

We bought tickets to go to the summit and boy, did we not regret any bit! Remember to print your tickets and go straight to any entrance that is green in colour; at the security check as well as the lift to go to the decks.

If you have tickets to the summit, you d have to change the lift at L2. If you only have tix to L2, you can only stay there and an upgrade is impossible.

Returned at night for the light show and although it was just 5 minutes of blinking bright lights, it was still magical.

Buying tickets online is highly recommended!!! Or else, be prepared to stand in the snake queue.

Wow! It s such a well known landmark that it s almost taken for granted. Yet, every time I m here I admire both the design and the location. This is a perfect example of a well thought idea of how to enhance a cityscape. When you head down here, bring a bottle of rose and a hamper basket as it s an ideal place to relax and enjoy this spectacular view.

A must visit while in Paris. The workmanship is a master piece, knowing it was built in The late 1800s this piece of art is worth going and admiring. Stands strong and tall in the middle of the city. Lovely at night.
The Eiffle is free to visit, public toilets accessible.
Locals selling keychains and collectibles around. (affordable)
