It's really impressive and beautiful up close. The geometry of the design is quite amazing when you see it in-person.
It's really impressive and beautiful up close. The geometry of the design is quite amazing when you see it in-person.
Lovely tourist attraction, really beautiful at night, the view of the city from the top at night is amazing.
Expensive to go up at 20E but the view is worth every penny.
2 restaurants on floor 1 and a Michelin restaurant on floor 2
The lift is interesting too, you get to see vertically up through windows to the top
Lots of information and many shops to buy cheap souvenirs
She watches the city
She watches as it grows
She watches it being pretty
She watches as wind blows
She stands, despite the weather
She watches at night and day
She knows no one could do it better
She's the only one who'll stay
Yes, very good. Go for it!
I loved visiting such an iconic place of Paris. And I'm so happy that I had a local friend take me there as close as possible without having to pay for entry and tour. But other than the beautiful and very close view of the tower, it's just a large metal tower to me. Not my favorite thing to see, but a great bucket list item when connecting through Paris.
Mesmerizing
Words is not enough to describe
As stunning as always!! Our 2nd visit - midnight and 20F and it was beautiful!!!
Exelent enchanting magnificient , worth it , for my taste , great to come whit in at least in a life a time , although i may / could say a little expencive place , . $$$$
Magnificent It is more attractive at night. The lights of the tower as well as the City lights will take your breath away. You can enjoy watching from afar or better yet on a closer look. I visited the area the next day and wandered alone. It was great and peaceful, and yet again it's true indeed that it's better to experience it with your loved ones. Who wouldn't want a nice stroll with someone holding your hand Enjoy Paris. The please is very beautiful.
The Eiffel Tower is obviously a fantastic monument. However in the last 5-6 years they have heavily ramped up security and to get to it now is not only tough but also it's taken away a lot of its charm and beauty.
Also, side note. Never go up with a 2 person pushchair! They say you can go up with pushchairs but if you do you will have the time from hell!
The Eiffel Tower is even more stunning in person than I thought it would be. Be sure to see it at night when it's lit up in its full glory. I'm no photographer but it's better to move further away to get good pictures.
Nice structure in all honesty. Unfortunately the lifts were broken on the day I visited and I was instead handed a climbing harness and 500 metres of rope. The climb up to the top was quite nice in all honesty even though I almost fell on several occasions.
It was an amazing experience worth the money and the wait it was a stoning view and you may joy a champagne glass if you are all the way to the top (kinda pricey)
Awesome magnificent monument which draws innumerable tourists every year in Paris.
View from the top on a clear and sunny day is spectacular.
It is definitely worth doing but it's not worth it if it's freezing cold outside. Wait for warmer months and try your best to go when crowds are minimal. The ride up with a reservation was very quick and easy, but to get down took quite a very long time. This was unfortunate considering how chilly it was up there. Mainly lots of school classes attending on groups. The 3rd floor view is worth the extra money. You can see for ages.
Absolutely amazing! Something you definitely need to see.
5/5 for the panoramic views, absolutely amazing to view Paris from the tower..The staff took a long time to arrive & show us which queue to follow,so there was a bit of helter skelter, but once you enter get ready for postcard pics..if you are walking up down wear proper shoes. There are shops, restaurant, toilets on the tower.Always carry a hooded rain jacket, cos today when we went up,it began to rain and extremely strong winds blew, which prevented all to go up the summit.(word of advice booked the tour until 2 stage and buy additional ticket once you get there,so that you don't lose out,if the summit ascend is cancelled). It gets extremely cold so dress warm..All in all ,visiting the Eiffel tower is a bucket list item.Highly recommended.
Of course you have to see it! I visited in October, for lucky with beautiful weather and stopped to see the tower around 7 (just before sunset)... every hour after sunset, a light show happens for about 5 minutes. It s quite beautiful, grab a snack and some wine and hang out in the park for a night or afternoon
Well preserved French engineering pride, surprisingly the show piece of world expo has become the the world monument.
Just incredible engineering. Go online and get reserved tickets and don t try to wait in the crazy lines.
Such a wonderful view at whatever level you're on! Being at the top make you feel like you're inches away from the clouds! Pretty souvenir shops!
Magnificent and Majestic in person a definite must see when in Paris, France. The Eiffel tower is astonishingly huge, definitely must see at night when it lights up as well. Great views of the city when you go up.
Eiffel tower is something which does not need any introduction.
It was made by company of Gustav Eiffel for the world fair of Paris.
It remained of the tallest towers in the entire world and even today , it is one of the tallest free standing structures.
Through this post , I have given a view of Paris atop the various levels of Eiffel tower.
There are observation decks , restaurants , communication tower etc on the top of Eiffel Tower.
It definitely provides a panoramic view of Paris and a must do if you are remotely near to this tower.

great place full of scammers, haha awesome view from top, u have to get different passes for different levels, the higher the costlier, and thn again at the bottom there are too many pickpockets and all, if u wanna buy a keychain of tower and if u bargain and if the man agrees u have to buy it, dont refuse after bargaining, lulz
Well worth a ticket for up the tower. Spectacular views.
I had an amazing time. Quite spectacular to see in person. Much taller, then I had expected. It's worth seeing both at night and in the day light.
Take the stairs it s more fun than it sounds and very doable. The hardest thing about it is being effortlessly overtaken by tiny children and their glamorous European parents while you drag your sorry, cheese filled carcass wearily from floor to floor wondering where it all went wrong!
The views are truly breathtaking (when you get there and if you can stop sweating into your eyes) and I would definitely recommend a trip to the summit. The queues for the lift can get nasty which is another reason to take the stairs.
It s an iconic attraction for a reason and well worth the effort!
Truly one of the must see sights of the world. Can't get enough of it

A really nice view of Paris and very family freindly. if you are scared of heights I highly recommend going up in the lift because it is quite high up.
Make sure you make your reservation as soon as you can so you can go as high as you want to on that given day. I waited too late and had a time slot that I had to squeeze in, but well worth it. The stairs aren t so bad, but it might be hard for kids. Take a break on the first level and get a coffee or drinks.
While in Paris the Eiffel Tower was one of the first things I went to see. It is so beautiful to see in real life. Going up to the top and see the amazing views of Paris was awesome. Love Love Love
There is just nothing like the experiment of sipping champagne on the summit of the Eiffel Tower. It lives up to all expectations and is utterly romantic. We had a 1 hour wait in total for the security line and ticket queue (which could have been shortened by 20 minutes if we bought tickets online). The tower and immediate surrounds are beautiful - be aware of all the people outside the gates trying to sell you things while you wait in the queue - especially the friendship bracelet scammers. We had a lovely experience- definitely worth the price!
Wao, amazing, fantabulous. Eiffel Tower is beautiful but their costumer service is terrible. Romantic place specially at night when lightening spot on the Eiffel Tower. One of the best and a must visit places to go with friend and family or even alone. Service needs to be improved, however. Amazingly beautiful from every angle.
The most romantic symbol of the city... Night views from near Avenue Joseph Bouvard are amazing!
Come and discover the Eiffel Tower: the only trip to the top of its kind in Europe, one where emotions carry you away. From the esplanade to the summit you will experience a whole series of emotions. Soak in the breathtakingly unique views More
Too many people, it's an ugly rusty construction spoiling view of the beautiful city
If you want to go up, you have to wait in line for 2-3 hours until you're through with security check and bought a ticket, which is quite expensive. Because I'm not 25 yet, it was only 12,50 for me to go to the top, for people older than 25 it's 25,50 which is way too much.
You drive up in an elevator and the view is nice, but the magic is done after like 10 minutes.
Going up by stairs is probably more fun.
Entrance fee is fair, great views from the top. There are stairs and an elevator to the second floor. You can go to the top only by elevator. Light shows seem to happen every hour on the hour after 1900.
There is a glass wall surrounding the entire tower now, and there is only one entrance, and you have to have your bags checked by security. Despite the lines being long, they move quickly. Once inside, you then have to lineup again to o up the tower. There are 2 ways, either by elevator, or walking up the stairs. There are 669 steps to the second level, and depending on fitness, can take up to around 20-30 minutes if you are at a reasonable level. BUT your MUST buy your tickets ahead of time. The line to go up the elevator is around 2 hours if you do not have a ticket. If you wish to walk up the stairs, it is around a 40 minute wait without a ticket. You will need to book your tickets at least 2 months in advance, and for the elevator, they have allocated time slots. You can then buy a ticket to go to the summit, the very top. I am afraid of heights and elevators, but once at the top, i felt very safe, and was SO worth it.
The gardens behind the tower are also closed off with a glass perimeter, so you either need to go way back, or sit down to the side of the tower. Take a blanket, because you are in for a few hours of sitting back and relaxing. It is quite magical to see the sun set and the tower being to light up.
Tips: BUY YOUR TICKET ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME. If you are watching it at night, becareful as there are people selling alcohol and they do not leave you alone unless you are firm with them
The Eiffel Tower is so big and beautiful! Everytime I see it it's like it's for the first time!
Overrated. Make sure you wear warm clothing if you go to the top in the winter. Lines are really long, so make sure you book through internet atleast 1 day in advance.
The Eiffel Tower is an iconic image of Paris. One of the most famous monuments in the world that is a sight that has to be seen in person.
safe to say Eiffel in love with Paris
So happy I could tick this off my bucket list.
the queue to get inside is super long so try get there as early as possible if you want to go up the tower. However, the surrounding area is just as beautiful.
Ps. Be careful of the pick pocketers around the area.
If that your first time in Paris I really recommend to visit the Eiffel Tower this place is amizing and the view was beautiful
Love this atmosphere. Hopefully someday I'll go back here!
this place is very historic in the world ... this place is always welcoming by visitors and tourists from all over the world ... this is a very beautiful place
Beautiful place on earth. We love to see Paris city view from top of Eiffel. Perfect place love to go again.
Was great experience to get to the top, we went on stairs to the second floor and then with the lift to the top, we went on late after noon and managed to watch the city when it s sunny and during the sunset.
It worth the ticket and now I believe it s a must to visit.
Iconic place at Paris, must see and climb top of the tower. You can take a boat ride from the jetty located on the river bank in front of Eiffel Tower and enjoy the historic monuments of Paris. The audio guide will help you throughout the boat ride.
The famous tower constructed during the late 19th century is a certain must see if in Paris. The lines are long, and the elevator cramped, but it is the landmark of Paris.
The fountains to the back of the towers are quite nice to sit in, but the lawns in the front are currently being remodeled and is quite ugly (as of July 2018).
Be sure to get tickets BEFORE you go there. Also there ARE NO tickets for the top floor for purchase while on the tower, so purchase early.
One of the 7 wonders of the world....the only part to feel sad about is that it is surrounded by black men who pose as they sell souvenirs of eiffel tower, but most of the times they rob you of your valuables. People feel scared going here at night pr evening. The government should do something about it. !
Absolutely stunning! Speaking in fact I was not at all impressed at the first sight of the monument in the morning, however It proved me completely wrong in the night. Breathtaking views from the top of the Eiffel and the sight of Paris from above is just fantastic! I would suggest try both lift and walk to either ascend or descend the tower, you will love it for sure.
Loved it. We went in the daytime and again that night. The lights at night is beautiful. Also, the best snack is the vanilla eclair, it's a must try in the snack shop.
Incredible experience. Booked to go to the summit. Took the kids. It was amazing. Went up at 9pm and stayed up there till 11.30pm. The tower lights up and sparkles. It does get busy and no good for people who have a fear of heights. Awe-inspiring.
Best place to visit in Paris. You can also climb up with a fee of 22 Euros.
Beautiful place for great memories with huge fountain and green grass.
Very pleasant to see in nights and in morning we may miss the beauty of it
Iconic Paris. You must climb to the top at least once in a lifetime
It s a gorgeous monument that is and will be one of the few places on earth that will keep us enchanted.
What can I say about this absolute must on any European tour? We loved the view from the Trocadero on the opposite side of the river, which is not so crowded, but amazing views. We walked around the base of the tower, but was not up to lining up for ages to get in. Next time I will plan well in advance and book into one of the restaurants. At Christmas time there is a lovely market on the river walk just over the road. Just lovely! No public toilets until you go inside the Tower compound tho.
This doesn't need any introduction! Most romantic place on earth probably!
Beautiful place...special from the top by nice weather a amazing view over Paris
Well, it's the Eiffel tower. It's interesting and it has a great view of Paris. But the lines are such a drag when time is limited. Oh, well...what can you do. Maybe a better system for electronic tickets?
It's a big place with a big park, beside it is the famous Sena River. There is the possibility to visit the torn up but it's take very long time to wait because is a lot of people etc. In the night you can see the Eiffeltornet with light.
Review for visit Dec-2014, simply amazing. Lifts are available to reach the top and the view is life time memory. Click the photos quickly and then enjoy the beauty of surrounding. You are creating beautiful Paris in your mind for lifetime.
Amazing views. Incredible structure. Visit up to second floor.
A must see In Paris!
Recommend going early 9/10 am as quiet and less crowds. We went last year and lunch time was extremely busy.
Buy tickets online and get summit pass. Views are phenomenal.
Worth a visit
The most important secret for getting the best Eiffel Tower experience is going at the perfect time of day! About an hour before sunset is perfect. Seriously this is the best way to overlook Paris in the daylight and after you snap a few pictures and wander around the top you will get to see all the sparkling lights over the city at night. We have had the wonderful experience of seeing the blinking lights on the Eiffel Tower! After sunset, the Eiffel Tower light show will take place every hour, on the hour. The display lasts about five minutes in total, and will repeat through until sunrise.
It's easier to get tickets on line and maybre skip some lines...you have two security checkpoints before ride the lifts. From the top, the vies is amazing,,,pray for a sunshine day like mine...A must do when in Paris!
Ugh so magical. Bring a bottle of wine or buy one on the street (kinda illegal lol) but we negotiated a bottle for 10. Lay out on the lawn and watch her beauty at night.
Amazing iconic place to see. A must do while in Paris. Best if can be viewed during different times of the day and from many different view points. Also, great view from the top if you have time for the ride. If you can schedule the ride to the top an hour or two before sunset then you can watch the sun set on Paris and view the "city of lights" come alive.
Always a site to see when visiting Paris. The awesome engineering and beauty of the Tower is absolutely breathtaking, especially when you consider that it is now 130 years old! If you have time it is fun to linger in the area and just stare at it. The only downside is that the lines to enter the main area can be quite long at times.
Paris was nice, i liked the eiffel tower. Many people on the streets though, kinda stinky ngl
They made me surrender $20 to get to the top. Meh, the one in Vegas has better views and more crank. USA USA USA
No words to explain...,
But in a words amazing and marvelous.., etc .., beautiful place ever....,
WOW
Beautiful view. I liked it very much and everyone has to go here.
Late. 2 years, basically, but I m gonna post this review anyways. I went to the Eiffel Tower in the Apex of winter. Cold. Very excruciatingly cold, but it was so worth it.
For a more extensive review, I m assuming you pressed on this. Here s what I think.
PROS -
Beautiful view, great convenience getting all the way up, breathtaking picture opportunities
CONS -
Very meh cafe, everything has a wait.
I would recommend going here. It s not a tourist trap... well, it is. But not in a bad way. It s worth your time. Take my word for it.
A most on a trip to Paris and well worth the queue. On a clear day the view from the first level are only bettered by the view at the top
No trip to Paris is complete without a summit of the Eiffel Tower. Security is tighter these days so be prepared to queue for an hour or more to have your bag and body scanned. For those who are able (and want to save money) I recommend walking up the steps to the second stage and from there you need to catch a fast elevator to reach the summit. You can turn up and pay on the day so pick fine weather and someone to share the experience with!

The Design of the Eiffel Tower
Bolting the joint of two crossbowmen.(c): Collection Tour Eiffel
The wager was to "study the possibility of erecting an iron tower on the Champ-de-Mars with a square base, 125 metres across and 300 metres tall". Selected from among 107 projects, it was that of Gustave Eiffel, an entrepreneur, Maurice Koechlin and Emile Nouguier, both engineers, and Stephen Sauvestre, an architect, that was accepted.
In order to make the project more acceptable to public opinion, Nouguier and Koechlin commissioned the architect Stephen Sauvestre to work on the project's appearance.
A quite different first edition
The construction
I Love it. Still one of my favorite views and my favorite memories. So beautiful. I recommend coming there at least once during the day and once in the evening so that you can see the entire city at night.
It was long queue and cold outside, but looking at tower I forgot all and enjoy a lot!
Who doesn't love the Eiffel Tower?!? We went on a beautiful day and had great views. My suggestion is to book your tickets before you get there or you WILL have to wait in crazy long lines! You also can't go to the 3rd floor UNLESS you buy a ticket for the 3rd floor. This is a new rule that is about a month old. Since already had tickets for the 2nd floor, we hung out, then we walked down!
I visited there at June 2019. It was a summer there in Paris. As all know, Eiffel Tower is the best attraction of the Paris city . The must visit place in Paris. The tower itself is wonderful and you can enjoy the surroundings as well. There is a park/garden close to the tower in which we can rest by enjoying the view of the tower. The surroundings are crowded by tourists and street sellers as well. You can purchase the souvenirs here.
I had a very nice experience, I recommend all you visit it and go up until the top
The atmosphere there is always nice and enjoyable.
Tipp: if you want go there, go 1-2 hours before sunset because before the sunset you can see how beautiful Paris is from top of Eiffel Tower and after the sunset you see the real masterpiece (Eiffel Tower ) with lights shining.
Is exactly as they say it is like. Wonderful structure, lots of people. Long, but well organised queues. All speak English, with English signs (and other languages).
Very much want to go again, and see it at night.
A must see if you ever get the opportunity to visit Paris. The Eiffel Tower is the most visited landmark in the world and it earns this title hands down.
Pictures in books, magazines, and social media do not do the Eiffel Tower justice.
IT IS BREATHTAKING FOR SO MANY REASONS.
From the ground, you get to see how massive this structure is. The amount of work it took to built this wonder.
There are 3 levels. The first is low enough for those afraid of heights but high enough to still catch a 360 view of Paris.
For those willing to travel to the 2nd level, it's pretty high and again the 360 view is breathtaking.
For those adrenaline seekers, you can go to the very top of the Tower. Although I had tickets to see the top, my fear of heights got the best of me, but I hear the top level is the best view of them all.
It is best to take a tour during the day and them come back at night to take in the romance and eat at the restaurant on the first level.
Get the Paris Pass, this tour is included in the package and you get to skip the line.
Its really a spectacular view If visited Paris you cant do it without visiting The Eiffel tower. You can view the whole city on the top its so amazing!
