Grand structure. A standout in France. Can see from all corners of Paris. Great place to hangout and watch this magnificent building and see people lounging on the grounds. Some areas of the surrounding grounds have huge patches of dirt not grass. A lot of vendors on the outskirt of this structure. Beware and be aware of your personal items. Metro access needs several hundred yards of walking. Seine river is just on the other side. Souvenur items can be bought near the metro station. Long lines to go up. Did not bother. Very sunny day during visit. A must see in your lifetime.

The Eiffel Tower was built by Gustave Eiffel for the 1889 Exposition Universelle, which was to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the French Revolution. Its construction in 2 years, 2 months and 5 days was a veritable technical and architectural achievement. "Utopia achieved", a symbol of technological prowess, at the end of the 19th Century it was a demonstration of French engineering, and a defining moment of the industrial era. As France s symbol in the world, and the showcase of Paris, today it welcomes almost 7 million visitors a year, making it the most visited monument that you have to pay for in the world.

Save time by getting a ticket for the lifts online beforehand!
Security took forever and the line we were waiting in for 2 hours was closed down because the lift broke.
It's a beautiful and iconic spot but we wasted a lot of time there.

We just loved our visit to the Eiffel Tower. This was our first visit and we were amazed at how big it is. It stands much wider than it looks on the pictures. We suggest you to book the tickets in advance online and must see the Paris City from top. The view is just astonishing. We bought the tickets of 4pm slot so that we can enjoy both day and night scenery from top.

The second level is a great place to enjoy the view and see the whole of Paris. The elevators are generally very crowded. You can use stairs down to the 1st level. There are a lot of winding stairs in the tower but it was a nice experience. There are several shops and eateries in the tower too. You can buy souvenirs but these souvenirs are more expensive than you might find in the shops across the street so you may want to check other places out as well.

We had heard the stories about the pick-pockets around the Eiffel tower so we were extra careful but we didn't see any incidents.

Unique experience to visit one of the most famous places on the planet. Is 100% worthy to wait in queue (which usually is quite long) for ticket to the top (if not fear of heights). The view and the tower itself is amazing. Is a must go if visit Paris.

Absolutely amazing! A true global landmark. There were no more tickets to the top level so we went to the second level hoping to buy top level tickets once on the tower. Sadly this was not possible. Buy your ticket far in advance and you can buy tickets on the ground level but not once on the tower. The views were amazing. Recommend going at sunset and staying till dark. The tower at night is stunning. The lights turn on and the tower twinkles on the hour.

Climbing the stairs was good fun and the view was incredible! Shame it gets so busy and prices of things in the shops there are pretty high. But is definitely worth doing and I imagine at night it would be even better.

No one will go to Paris and not visit the Eiffel Tower. Just buy your tickets online and make sure to get the skip the line tickets. I went on a Sunday night and off season. Even with skip the line i still waited about half an hour to get to the elevator. Try to go at night. Seeing Paris all lit up from the tower an epic sight

The view is amazing!!!! Definetly recommend it. Kind of chilly during the winter, but the lighting at 12:00ish (pm) does wonders. Lines aren't too long if you buy tickets beforehand, but you can buy tickets onsite.

I like the fact that when built as temporary thing almost nobody liked it while now it is symbol of Paris and France. It is not cheap to look from above and it is always crowded but you cannot visit Paris without this place.

A visit to the very adored iron lady that watches over Paris never let's you down! Even if in sad moments, this year was for the locals to enjoy the beautiful views in a more relaxed company

If you re visiting Paris you have to stop by the Eiffel Tower. They recently added a glass structure around the bottom with a security check. This is nice in that it helps keep out the guys selling trinkets, but it s a bit of an eyesore. It can get busy so if you re planning in advance, purchase tickets for a set time before you visit. This gets you up to the top much quicker.

I loved it! It is better than Empire State Building because you see the empty space going up/down and it gives you an adrenaline rush, that you don't feel in a building. You can take the stairs on the way down, better than the elevator. At the restaurant level, there is glass floor, so you can see all the way down. The gift store at the restaurant level is better than the on on top, it has more staff. Buy the tickets online, saves time. You can easily spend here 1/2 a day.

Extremely breathtaking. Totally worth every minute. I never thought I would spend more than 3 hours in a place like this. But we did. We visited the first floor which has a restaurant, a cafe, and outdoor seating even in the winter. It's an igloo type of seating area to shield you from the cold. The restaurant doesn't open until dinner time. So we didn't get to eat there. In the second floor, it is very high up. We enjoyed the sights since we got there right before sundown and stayed until dark. They also have a cafe in the second floor, the coffee was good, and the macaroons were to die for. When we went to the first floor we went down the steps from the Second Floor, it wasn't that bad since it was going downhill , but on the way back up they told us we couldn't go up the elevator again so we had to go up the steps, that was a hike. The light show started at 6 p.m. And then every hour on the hour after that.

Absolutely gorgeous!! Should be on the top of your bucket list of Paris visit. This is really one of the most magnificent structures in the world. I highly recommend going at night so you can see the glittering lights. It's really amazing. Visited Paris during winter time and was afraid of spoiling our trip since daylight time is very less. But it's the most wonderful time to visit there because of the night beauty of this city. An evening in Paris and night view of Eiffel tower took my breath away... the city of Love I would suggest you to book entry tickets online well in advance so that you can skip the large queue and get the convenient slots. There are options to book summit view(top of Eiffel) or view from second floor. Even though the second floor view is fabulous, you shouldn't miss the mind blowing top view. Also there are options to book the top visit using stairs as well as elevators. Really worth visiting..!!

NB: beware of pickpockets around the attractions as well as in Metro.

Amazing structure. Pointless visiting Paris and not going up.

Tip: Buy your ticket online before your visit and save yourself have to wait in line. Still don t understand people who visit the biggest attractions in the world, yet complain there is queue to buy a ticket.

Quite exposed in the 2nd lift, so if you re scared of heights be prepared.

Fantastic thing to do if you come to Paris; go up high at night for some fantastic views.
Walking the first two levels is very reasonable and I feel all you really need to do, paying the extra to take the lift to the top is optional but we thought the views from the second level are perfect.
It's a shame that they have surrounded the tower with plastic because of security fears.
Very romantic and we loved it.

I gave 3 because i had a very unpleasant issue while visiting the tower a few days ago.
I asked everywhere if i can enter with pram, everybody says yes but the reality was totally different, i had to carry the pram because there wasn't any ramp access, nor even for disabled people.
You had to go through some lanes, because of coronavirus and they were so narrow and even can't move them a bit to make space for pram, and again i had to carry the pram ,and wasn't a problem if i had only to jump a small thing, but no ..
I definitely won't go back there, some people was rude like the security guy, i ask him something and i was polite and he replied very sharp "no" or "yes" , if he doesn't like his job why doesn't quit?!
Only the view deserve 5 ,everything else 0 .
And because a lot of people are asking for the ticket price i will add one photo with the price till the top floor!

Wonderful experience, excellent food at the restaurant 58 tour Eiffel, breathtaking views from the summit, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff. Very Busy time of the year so a little bit of a wait with the fast track, but overall, an experience not to be missed... (add it on your bucket list)

No visit to the French capital is complete without a trip to and a trip up its most iconic structure. The 300-meter-tall Eiffel Tower was quite simply, the tallest man-made structure in the world, from its opening in 1889 for 41 years until 1930.

Use your visit as a stair workout and climb the 300 steps from ground level to the first of three levels on the tower. If you're in great shape, climb another 300 steps to the second level. Then hop on the elevator here to get to the top. Aside from the workout, you'll also skip most of the crowd who want to take the elevator the whole way.

City of Light draws millions of visitors every year with its unforgettable ambiance. Of course, the divine cuisine and vast art collections deserve some of the credit as well. The gentle River Seine rambles through the city, flanked by stately museums, centuries-old churches, and blocks of Rococo- and Neoclassic-design architecture, further enhanced by cascading trees and glowing streetlamps. Peppering the Seine's cobbled walks and graceful bridges are impossibly chic Parisians, probably on their way to the market, cafe or cinema.

Though its a simple mast like steel construction but it has its charm. At night with the sparkling lights its very nice shining on the Seine river. Needs some maintenance. And dusty floors everywhere under.

Speeches , best thing in the Paris, view from the top makes one feel at the top of the world, one can see the whole city ,the river and all the major tourist attractions from the top, again have patience need to wait in a long queue to get in it, garden is wonderful to sit, be careful with money because of pickpocketing. At least a half day adventure.

The Eiffel Tower has to be on every travelors bucket list. We visited during the day and evening. We also had dinner at the restaurant. I think seeing the tower at night was our favorite. The way it lights up the sky is incredible.

Social distancing and mask wearing were not enforced. It is disgusting that you must put yourself at risk. Signs and announcements should be simple, yet there were neither. The cost of our tickets alone would have paid for the signs!

Eiffel Tower is named after Gustave Eiffel and it is Paris. It was built as a symbol of world trade fair. It is one the tallest structures in the world. There is enough security for all visitors. Every year millons of people go to France for visiting this huge and enchanting structure. I visited it many years ago but i did not take any pictures then because of having no cameras.

A classic iconic view, definitely should be on everyones bucket list! Get tickets to go to the top well in advance for a time an hour before sunset, so you can spend time seeing the view in daylight, and then watch the sunset and see the city of lights sparkle at dusk!

Beautiful, very much excited to be on the top and I have done it. We were there 2 times in the evening and in the morning as well. In the evening we went upto 2nd floor as top level was closed while we were in the queue for tickets and the next day morning we went to the top floor. Beautiful view of the surroundings from the 2nd and too floors. There is small champagne shop at the top in which we will get champagne in cone shape glass for 2 and also a souvenir shop in the second floor. Here are some pictures.

Eiffel Tower Paris, It is more than beautiful place to spend one evening, it s not only beautiful to see but it s the place where you get so much filled with love. You can feel romance and love all in the area. It was one of my biggest dream to come here and have a pic with the tower. The view from the top of the tower is outstanding and amazing you would love to spend the whole day there. There's usually a long queue at the bottom for buying the tickets but still trust me it's worth waiting, or you can buy a skip the queue ticket from your hotel or hostel (wherever you stay) of course will be much more expensive. When u go up by lift it's an experience itself. The view from the top of the tower is so awesome that I can never forget it. No doubt its the best man-made architecture ever in this world. Try to come here at the evening and stay until the night , don t miss seeing the tower at night because there will be a light on the tower at night something amazing you shouldn t miss it.

Fantastic structure although book in advance as long queues up to 3 hours. Great views of Paris from the top which you pay extra for or if your not too keen on heights you can go to the 2nd level, still some good views

Truely a classic masterpiece that represents Paris and all of France. Of course it is a very touristy thing to do but if you say you went to Paris and didn t see the Eiffel Tower, you may get grief for it. Stop by and see the day and night view or go here during sunset and see both! Don t go up the thing as there isn t too much to see...

Awesome... What a view. We took the lift as we have small kids. There was a bit of a queue even with pre-booked tickets on a Friday and we had an 11am slot. I think by the time we got back down around 1pm it was really quite busy so I guess the earlier you get there the better. On the way down we walked the bottom section of steps as the lift queue was really quite long. That only took 5 minutes or so.

Amazing tourist attraction.

Amazing tourist attraction.

Great place to take some photos and perfect opportunity to fit in some exercise. Definitely take the stairs for a more fun way up.

Every corner of the Eiffel tower has a mini shop, so you can buy some souvenirs.

At the top, there are different floors, so you can take a rest and buy some food.

Once you've done all that in the daytime, visit it again at night. The Eiffel tower flashes with bright lights every night and is a great time to take some photos.

Looks excellent, haven't gone up in over 10 years but even seeing it reminds you of where you are and how wonderful the city is. The only issue when you go up is you don't get a view of the Eiffel tower telling you, you're in Paris.

The Eiffel tower is the most iconic place in Paris. The amazing architecture is exquisite. A walk around is very romantic, you can also go up and have a wonderful view of the city. It's a place that is usually busy and you can get there by metro which is pretty close.

Nice historical place to visit. It is not so expensive to go up.
However the controls plus waiting lines are awful.
I consider there are more interesting places to be visited in Paris than this one: gardens, museums, restaurants, simply having a walk and admire the architecture.

The Eiffel Tower is a must tourist attraction for anyone visiting Paris. The lift to the top is a bit heart stopping if you re scared of heights (!), but it s the best place to drink in the view of Paris. There s a small cafe that sells cakes, snacks and drinks and plenty of gift shops on the ground floor.

The Eiffel Tower is definitely a symbol of love throughout the world. It is a very beautiful tower and you can go inside to certain height with additional ticket. The whole region around this area is full of architecture, beautiful sculptures, garden, and monuments. It is a must-visit for anyone visiting Paris and you should easily take a few hours to cover it completely. The sights of the Tower are simply awesome if you visit it during the Valentine's day. The night view is very beautiful. Perhaps it is better to visit the place before it gets dark and then stay until you have the night view too.

You just cant visit France and not see this magnificent structure. Can be seen from almost all corners of the city. There is a beautiful park right in front of the tower capturing the best views accouting for the full tower's height. Heavy security presence for the public's safety which is very good. Loads of places around to eat. Parking nearby is from 4 an hour. Plenty of buses dropping off nearby as well. You have to pay to go up the tower either by lift or walking up.

The night view is better; lesser people and the tower flashes lights once in a while. Going to the top is a nice experience. One landmark conquered. See Tomorrow land movie where they had the a portion of the movie shot at the top of the tower. Do the Ferrari test drive nearby too. You dont get a chance to drive one of those everyday. Price is reasonable. Dont forget to bring your driver's license

So...the reason is that it's not my experience it of my grandfather who visited Paris many years back..and by luck I found the album from where I got these all images ..and now I will surely visit here once and share my experience...until then enjoy..

Well.... Firstly the top floor was closed for renovation so we could only go up to level 2..to be quite honest it was a bit of a let down... The view was pretty however did not trigger a wow moment so whilst it's been ticked off the bucket list it was an underwhelming experience.

Eiffel Tower is the wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. Completed in 1889. if you wish to get on board to the Top Floor to see the Sundown. please make sure you go there at least 2 hours before as it`s close when it's full of the visitors. my recommendation to see the sundown and night lights you need to be on the top floor around 5.30-6.00pm not to miss that amazing experience.
Beautiful 360` wive and even you can enjoy nice vine and snack in the 2nd-floor restaurant.

One of the best tourist attractions in the world as you know. According with My experience to take the picture of Eiffel tower the best time is morning and the best place is trocadeo. which is opposite to the tower and it is height from the ground from here we can experience best views of tower but if you want to see the beauty of the Eiffel tower the best time is at night because it looks likes a golden tower .while at night for every one hour the small lights on the tower use to blink and stop continuously for 5 min. This will mesmerize you for sure.

At ground level there isn t really much to do but it s a great view and there are some shops, when you get up to the first layer it s a nice view from the city and there are some shop. When you get to almost the highest point, the view is already incredible, can t remember if there were any shops but it was nice. And when you get to the top the view is insane. Overall great experience and loved every moment on of it.

For everyone that s going to Paris I should say "visit the Eiffel Tower" because it s awesome. Maybe a little high but still great.

The waits for security are long and slow. The Champagne bar at the top is not a bar with seating, very disappointing. You have to enjoy the Eiffel tower; it's important history, and fascinating to explore.

Once you enter on the lift all the city gets smaller every second. The view, is amazing and the structure of the tower is impressive!

The Eiffel Tower is totally awesome in real-life. Tickets are available for the 2nd Floor and The Top. The 2nd Floor is at 116 metres and The Top is at 276 metres. There are lifts but if you want your daily cardio you can purchase the cheaper stairs access tickets. Access to The Top is only by lift.
I made the mistake of going to the Eiffel Tower on a school holiday. The crowds were horrendous.

Again, the garden area security upgrade makes it feel like you have to pay an entry fee to get in, but you don t. Go through security and enter the gardens to go walk around under the Tower. The area feels safer than it used to be with the addition of the security checkpoints. Reserve your tickets to the tower in advance to help with the long wait. The line when we were there for purchasing was extremely long.
