They have a great bar with a nice patio down to the lake with breathtaking views. A great place to be at for sunset!

Great place to visit even for just viewing Lake Tahoe. The beach is nice and good for taking a walk along.

Incredible hotel with an amazing location. The heated swimming pool and spa in front of the lake are perfect for relaxing over the weekend. Rooms are very nice. Not much of a golfer but I am sure you will have a blast there in front of the lake

I came here for a celebrity golf tournament and the golf course was absolutely beautiful! The store and appearance of the resort appears lovey and very high end.

Visited the golf course for 6 days. Amazing location with the gorgeous backdrop of Lake Tahoe and the snow capped mountains. The course and hotel are both equally beautiful. Breakfast & lunch at The Bistro is a must.

Beautiful hotel. Top notch spa. One of the best massages I've ever gotten. Service is superb, facility is impeccable, and you can't best the location right on the lake.

No overnight stay, just played golf here and it was incredible. I knew the course from the playstation games some years ago so it was even more special for me :-)
Such a great variation of holes, incredible views. Just wow. Played Pebble Beach on the same trip and I'd surely go here over Pebble if I had to choose.
Solid Titleist rental clubs. The Scotty putter was so good that I got me the same one as soon as I got home :-D

My cousin got a room for my family for three night as a graduation gift to my daughter. We drove two hours down and stopped several times to play and hike on the trails before arriving to check in. Driving up the gentleman at the gate was kind and friendly. Pulling up the young men were great and the older gentleman helping to bring in our bags was amazing. He asked about us staying here before and we let him know it was our first time. He guided us over to the check in area. It looked like a line was leading out to the doors and so I stood there. The bellman noticed and help me see where to stand and get immediate help. He was amazing. The lady who check me in was not. She tried charging me 2900. Dollars, the full cost of the stay. I explained it was a gift from my cousin and then she said she had their card on file and will try charging them. She then says it was declined. I was taken back because I couldn t imagine someone giving you a gift like this and it not actually being paid for. So I tell her give me a minute and I ll get the funds to pay for the stay. I had to unlock my card as I don t normally spend that kind of money. So I start texting my Bank and she starts to back track and say oh it has been paid in full. Just a mistake and then tries to make up for the most embarrassing check I ve ever experienced in my life. Without saying sorry, she states oh we have a lot of those. She gives me two extra face masks. And the bellman, who I can t say enough positive things about, takes us to our room after showing us the basic layout of the hotel and tells us all the wonderful things we can do. We are still staying here as I type this. That check in process really kill the mood for our first stay and day here. It s a beautiful hotel and the views and private beach is amazing. Room is beautiful. What comes with a stay that is this expensive, breakfasts for two, even if you are a group of four, free yoga class in the morning, s mores at 4:30pm (before dinner but they are wrapped and you can save them for after) and bottled water. The food is great but double the price. The room has a mini fridge that does not stay cold and fireplace is hard to work. The trash cans in the rooms are tiny. All the activities but for yoga is double the price and confusing as to who to talk to to do it. Over all the quality and service you get just doesn t add up to what you will pay to stay. It s a surface level of service and the hotel banks on its appearance to sell the lack of customer experience. Things I would change if this were my hotel:
All inclusive packages for activities, better check in staff and breakfast for all guests not just two. Price while high could stay the same but with those few changes would provide a better customer experience.

Damn. There experience being in the pool while it was 36 degrees and snow everywhere was unforgettable. The bed was great and amenities were very nice.

Great food, great service, awesome views. We ate dinner and watched football on Christmas at Brooks. We will definitely be back

What great views and an escape from the loud and smoking environs of the casinos. A pure vacation without leaving home. Glorious day with enjoying lunch outdoors at the bistro for the first time. Brisket was off the hook.

A beautiful resort that compliments the heavenly landscape of South Lake Tahoe. Beautiful room with fireplace overlooking the Lake. Excellent food wherever you eat with outstanding service and attention to detail. We seriously did not want to leave.

Definitely a 2 star hotel experience. Front desk were so rude and then he called another person who she was even more rude. Last time I stay here and I will have a blog about my experience here as well. Stay away and spend your $$$ somewhere else. Hotel hospitality is not about the walls & golf course etc. it s all about experience and how you make people feel. It s about customer service.

We got married here and our guests can t stop talking about how great this venue was. Amazing scenery and pristine grounds. Lodge is amazing, golf course is amazing, and the service staff is exceptional

My boyfriend and I had breakfast on Sunday at the bistro. The restaurant was beautiful and the view out the window was very beautiful of the grounds and the lake. You would have thought you were looking at a postcard. I had the blueberry french toast it was really good I'm also not into blueberry stuff either but I really enjoyed my meal. My boyfriend had the special which was a type of eggs Benedict he seemed to like it since his plate was empty. We are looking to possibly reserve a room here for our next Tahoe trip.

It is a luxury place you will not regret being here the service is top notch.

Visited the beautiful property for a wedding. The grounds and facilities are gorgeous and right on the water. Worth a visit while in Tahoe!

This place is an absolute sanctuary. We visited last year as well and Casey who helped us with our bags remembered talking to us - he is such a lovely person. The interior design in the shared spaces and the rooms is stunning. The Bistro does really great food. Love the outdoor pool and hot tub so lovely to look up at the trees and stars whilst having a swim. The best views of the mountains as well. Finally going during the festive period was such a joy - the decorations were fantastic and we enjoyed our evening being entertained by Mark Twain!

Expectations are pretty high for a $500/night hotel. Unfortunately disappointment came easy from multiple things: valet mandatory for $15+tips with more than 20 mins wait for the car, no check-in available at 4:30pm - rooms weren t ready yet, had to request drinks twice because the wine was old. At the bar terrible experience with drunk people coming out from the hot pool in bathrobe and someone was even in their underwear and flip flops too. Food at the restaurant was very good, but a little pricey. Front desk staff was less than helpful, while the restaurant staff is kind. The structure is amazing, new and well designed. Needs a lot of work on operations and hospitality. Perfect for $250 a night, definitely not for more than that.

Edgewood Golf course is what a golf course ought to be! Although it is not inexpensive! Locals get the opportunity to play it at a greatly reduced greens fee for a few days at the opening of the season. Well worth every penny! Also Brooks restaurant is very good & it's a great place to enjoy good food & drink sitting outside on the deck (weather permitting). We go there often to enjoy lunch or a glass of wine.

Some of the best Tahoe views I've ever seen. A perfect place for weddings.

Rude bar staff. Shame. Left 10minutes after arriving. Cancelled our spa and dinner bookings on the way out.

I went to a wedding there next thing I remember I was on the floor with people all around me and the help yelling for someone to get the ice cleaned up from the floor I ended up in the hospital with a concussion and was in the hospital for 4 days I still have head aches every day.

The greens were in great condition, fast downhill and slow uphill. They have several tee boxes so you can adjust the course to your game. You can't beat the views.

this place is BEAUTIFUL! i would love to visit here sometime! the sunset is amazing and they say that the course is very challenging so that means to me that it would be more fun! and it has mostly 5 stars so that means that they agree to!

This place is exceptional. The design is unbelievable. The grouds and veiws are breathtaking and the service is wonderful. Their SPA is amazing! The hotel bar is cozy and the food is great.

If you want 5 star service and a breathtaking view, this is the place!
