wearing masks and social distancing was a little awkward but their professionalism and way to manage under a crisis was superb (wearing a mask for the guest is optional). Views are important to me and JC at the front desk made sure I had the best room my money could buy...lol which it wasn't a lot because apparently I paid for the cheapest rate but JC made me feel like I paid for the penthouse. I got a room that had side view of the lake and it was such an amazing experience. The lake is magical, the place is magical and the experience worth every penny we spent...

This hotel has the perfect location but for a 5 star hotel it is highly lacking in customer service. There were multiple incidents that service lacked but the final straw was one of their valet carts hit our brand new car and they were so extremely rude to us about it they had the audacity to tell us we were being unreasonable to ask for their insurance information before we checked out. Multiple heads of the security department were out of this world rude. We simply asked for an incident report and the insurance information to which not one person in the hotel seemed to have. We had to call the sheriffs department and even then they tried to say the incident report was private. I m actually an insurance agent and know exactly how this process works. Why are you telling us that we are being unreasonable when someone on your payroll with your golf cart ran straight into our car? The people who run this place take no responsibility whatsoever to make things right and were constantly passing the buck. I was literally shaking and crying in front of my three kids because of how outrageously rude the security guy was being about us wanting the insurance information. My family and I have come here every year since this hotel opened but this is the absolute last time we will ever step foot on this property.

I went to a wedding here and I loved the place. It is beautiful and elegant, perfect for a wedding and reception as was the case when I came here. It gives to see the lake, the mountains and everything that is Lake Tahoe from the windows of the clubhouse.

I took my wife to Edgewood Tahoe the last evening of our honeymoon. She loved it, I loved it, overall an amazing experience. Our host was Marj and he was knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, was funny and personable wihtout being overbearing. The view was excellent and the atmosphere romantic. Thanks guys for helping me make a wonderful last night!

Went for a couples Spa Day, it was definitely expensive but wow was it worth every penny!
My wife and I felt so relaxed. Haven't felt this pampered before after our incredible massages, you get to just lounge around in our cozy robes with a bottle of champagne on ice, with chocolates and strawberries awaiting for us in a private little area. Afterwards you can lounge around for hours with the jacuzzi some different aromatherapies based teas and finish it off with a nice steam and shower with all the accommodations you can ask for! Easy 4 stars! Highly recommended!

Ate dinner at the restaurant it was pricy but our waiter Guy was excellent

We LOVE this place. Fantastic design, great service, food is solid. Surprisingly reasonable. Just cannot say enough. Sits right on the lake. Glorious.

Good food, good drinks, good portions, and good service. Parking is a little rough and not great for kids.

Amazing place I want to come back more often. Because they have good amenities and activities to do, no needed to go outside of the resort. Staffs were wonderful. Thanks for Trevor who welcomed us warmly, and thanks for the Concierge service !

We had lunch at the bistro. There restaurant was beautiful, staff extremely courteous, and the views of the lake were breathtaking! Not to mention brunch was delicious!

Excellent food and service. Had the filet mignon and was the best ever. She had the sturgeon and was extra happy with it. Waiter was great for suggestions too.

The Edgewood at South Lake Tahoe is very nice and you will enjoy going there but perhaps not at the moment because they're getting lots of snow.

The experience was like no other. The view was breath taking. Service was impeccable, the food was the best I've ever had I can't wait to go back.

The lobby is an awesome looking Lodge. Feels like a large cabin. We will definitely try to stay there next time. We only went to the restaurant which was equally very nice. We went for Thanksgiving dinner and had a great time will definitely go back.

We arrived really late, 2am, but were still greated warmly and told we still had use of all amenities the following day.

I had a fantastic experience here. Robert at the bistro made me one of the most amazing breakfasts I have ever had and that's not an exaggeration. The view is excellent as it is located right on the lake and the private beach is very beautiful. The staff were all very friendly. I will definitely be visiting again in the future.

One of the best dining experiences I have had in quite some time. We booked our reservation through opentable and in the notes I indicated it was out 1 year anniversary and requested to be seated where we had a view of the lake. (this was an easy request as there is not a bad seat in the house). The location is amazing. Overall the food was great, they have a small menu and the items are fairly simple, but they are very well prepared.

Our hostess greeted us with a "happy anniversary" and our waiter was prompt, knowledgeable, and very personable. We never felt rushed. Overall our experience was great and we will be returning for an anniversary down the road. If you are looking for a place that is quiet for a nice evening out, I highly recommend this place. They are very accommodating as well, just put some notes in your reservation request, they actually read them.

Had sister in law wedding there, it was amazing and the view to die for...

Visited Edgewood Tahoe for dinner on my 30th birthday. The restaurant was beautiful, our waiter (Guy) was extremely attentive and friendly and the food was amazing. I couldn't have been happier.

A relative is getting married there this year so we were there to see the venue, the employees were nice enough but some had attitudes despite my party being cooperative and friendly.

Best resort in Tahoe and I can't wait to come back. The Bistro had amazing food

Edgewood was perfect.Room was spectacular. Food and drinks were great. Customer service was exemplary. Smores in the evening around the fire, yoga in the morning on the beach. It was a wonderful vacation
