Couldn't care less about the homeless and rely on dodgy "charity" to house people rather than do their job

Busy running themselves and being controlled by politicians enuff said !

I am absolutely appalled. Saturday 1st June 2019, someone on stable fields (st Luke's park wickford) decided to have a very loud party. Starting in the evening from around 6pm running through until 3am!!! We are from Greece. We are used to noise late at night. However after 1am it was still as loud as at it was at 6pm. So I called the police at 1:30am who then told me to speak with the council to send a noise officer out. When I made the call, I was told the officer would call me back to confirm details. Which he did. He also told me I wasn't the only one to complain. That others in the area have also made calls. However he advised all of us that he would send them a "letter" in the post NEXT WEEK. to notify them that they disturbed us. We pay 1700 per year being in band D for council tax. This includes services from the council. The officer then said he COULD come out but it would take hours to gather police to knock on their door. Pathetic. And so he thanked me for the call and hung up. I am disgusted with the lack of consideration even after the fact that my 10 year old daughter woke up so many times and I told the officer this. Absolutely disgusted with this. Of course the music and shouting, clinging of glasses and loud laughing went on until 3am. Of course if was to park in a parking spot for 10,9 seconds after my allocated time paid for, the parking fine would be at my house the very next day. It's ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

I don't know who run the bus services,but I'm gonna blame the council. They don't run on Christmas day, Boxing day,new year and other bank holiday. What they think of general people who can't travel without taxi( which is quite expensive)? Even today 23rd December,they running a Sunday service. For what? Useless council

Chelmsford council are absolutely dreadful, they were no help to my situation one bit, rude and snobby. If you have a problem I wouldn t go here.

We enjoy going to Chelmsford to shop but following our parking charge for incorrectly tapping our car reg number into the machine (which incidentally is impossible to use with any hand covering on in these covid pandemic times and we have never seen them being sanitised) we will not be coming again. It is bad enough having to pay the extortionate parking rates without having to pay them and then get fined as well! Free parking at Lakeside and Bluewater every time from now on.

The only council in Essex to shut down for the whole Christmas and New year period? Typical of their absolutely disgraceful way of "providing" any service. If this was any other company they'd have gone out of business years ago

Poor customer service i have been waiting so long to get in touch with someone.

We held a CIMA meeting in the council chamber. It is an old, elegant building but the chamber is modern, comfortable, and has good AV equipment. All very clean and well kept.

We had a very encouraging time when we visited the Electorial services. Lora was very kind and went beyond what was expected.

Great customer support, flexible parking services, doing well to prevent anti-socail behaviour and making the city a safer environment in which to live.

It s very bad I live in Chelmsford and put my bins away correctly and recycling however one day I looked outside they where doing the bins as normal until I found out they put it mixed up anyway.

Phoned to speak to Parks Department and was told that it takes 5-7 days for them to respond. What other business would take that long? Very Poor.

Friendly call centre with quick, helpful answers and response time to questions.

15 minutes waiting so far - no answer - disgraceful

Lady in parks was just robotic. Couldn't / wouldn't discuss any solutions or attempt to help, would only read tired rubbish corporate lines out. I work for a council where people have the ability to speak, discuss and problem solve. Really disappointed with this lot. You might as well save on staff costs and get a robot......
