entity different place, its one of the must visit place in UK. It would looks like a forest inside a dome. be prepared for your trip as no foods/restaurants near by. you have to live with your own.

LOOKED FORWARD TO VISITING THIS PLACE FOR YEARS. I WASN`T DISAPPOINTED. ALL MANNER OF PLANTS IN THE DOMES AND THE OUTER GARDENS WELL STRUCTURED TOO. YOU CAN GET A COMBINATION TICKET WITH THE HELIGAN GARDENS.

We were Aussie visitors here in 2015. I did not know what to expect, but my 11 year old daughter had listed this on her "must-see" list. I'm glad we came. It is a great place for multiple reasons. Firstly, I found my daughter becoming quite engaged with the exhibits - so a good educational place. Secondly, I love to take photographs of flora and there is a lot here to photograph. Lastly... well... we just had a good time. The food here was grand (try the pizzas in the Mediterranean biome) and the place is larger than I expected.

I feel that the price of entry should reflect on the time of year you go. Felt like we over paid because every other flower bed was under reconstruction and had nothing in it. Not alot to do unless you have kids and food is way over priced. More

I had been looking forward to visiting this project for years. It was absolutely awful. Crammed like sardines with absolutely no control of visitor numbers. It was just a frustrating and horrible experience. The Space exhibition was badly produced with poor lighting, set and visuals. Too many simple info boards that you had no time to read as the solid throng of people moved relentlessly forward. The rainforest which should have been the highlight was rammed. No time to stop, look and soak up the wonders of nature. Just trying to avoid the people in front and not be run over by the people behind. Sadly this now seems no more than a money making project.

Quite expensive for entry, but well worth it, loads to see, masses of plants, all labelled with interesting facts, Rainforest biome is HOT, so advise wearing light airy clothes, even in winter, Mediterranean biome is cooler but by no means cold.

Food is good and priced as expected at this sort of venue, but still reasonable and tasty.

Good for children and elderly, even if wheelchair bound, however, the highest viewing platforms do have a large number of steps to reach them so they would be out of reach to disabled or infirm

We didn't get a chance to finish visiting the extra places in the facility as time got the better of us, but we didn't feel that we'd missed out, such we're the biomes

Had a great time visiting here apart from the rain but didn't stop us. great attraction about a bit pricey for what you get at the place but would be being a cornish landmark. The only downside is the lack of navigation signs and lack of baby/toddler facilities but other than that was a good day out.

Must visit if you re in the area, educational and interesting to see what can be made from a disused clay pit! Make a day of it and take your time walking around the place, the rain forest biodome can get very warm so take water for elderly or your children other than that have fun and enjoy the educational aspect of it.

Really enjoyed the Eden Project on a quiet Friday in May. The rain forest biome was the highlight with great explanations of the plants and trees, their ecological benefits, and economic uses and benefits. Wow, what a mess we ve made of this earth. Great food in the cafes, cream tea is a must, a good ethical shop and helpful staff. We popped back on Saturday morning to do the Parkrun which was great fun and well organised/marshalled. Some parts of the Project are looking tired, maybe that s deliberate, some of the quarry edges/sides need some TLC.

A wonderful day out. Actually nice to visit during covid, not as many people and crowds. Plenty to see and do and great to see attractions slowly opening back up. I would recommend packing a picnic and bringing your own food. There is food available but limited and with less people visiting there are plenty of tables to sit and eat at or space to sit and enjoy a picnic.

I've wanted to go for over a decade, and I was disappointed after finally visiting. Perhaps it had built up too much in my mind, but I enjoyed it less than trips to Trebah, Tregrehan, and my local RHS Hyde Hall.

Get there early as it's an all day visit and lots of walking needs good weather to bring out the best. That said didn't like that large chunks were cordoned off at different times due to wedding made what would have been perfect day into an avoid the wedding party

Always try and visit Eden whenever we are in Cornwall. There is always something that is new or evolving.

I can't quite believe how much 'softer' the environment has become as nature reclaims the surrounding cliffs.

Can be very busy at the entrance but plenty of space once you are in.

My tip: Stay much later in the day and you can have the biomes completely to yourself to explore in peace.

Better during the day. Unfortunately there is no light enough during the evening times. Perfect for children's, loads of educational stuff around. Food, not the best l, but you might find something.

A MUST SEE, both in the sun and the rain! Family friendly!

One of the most interesting places I ve been! I love barre and plants so to recreate 2 completely different habitats is absolutely astonishing!
My favourite is of course the tropical environments, the Mediterranean is less exciting.
The new section of the Eden project is also fairly interesting and very interactive.
I would definitely recommend it to any tourist coming from abroad to visit.
Easily to access parking and a bus goes by as well.
What a pity that the weather was rainy, but go anyway as most of the areas are covered!
Only downside is that it can get quite busy!

A futuristic project compared to Italian standards: how to recover a degraded site (formerly a quarry) and make it a tourist destination, obviously in the Anglo-Saxon standard (refreshment areas, shop with "organic" or sustainable products, a pavilion for environmental education dedicated to children ,. ..). Recommended if you are interested in nature and plants, many interesting ideas but a bit chaotic (do not expect either an English park, or a Kew Gardens style plant collection). Last advice, the entrance ticket is quite expensive (in June 2016 32 each), before arriving, look for some brochure with tourist attractions and you will easily find a discount voucher for entry.

Eden Project was amazing. There were endless plantlife and wildlife to look at. The different biomes made for an interesting look into different environmental cultures and there were tons of different cafes around the site. Will definitely be returning.

A must-do if you're in Cornwall. Great for wet weather day too. The 2 main biomes are very interesting and warm you through. Even on a busy August day is didn't feel overly busy. Queue for the sky walk was 30mins but well worth it, if not a bit terrifying at first. Food was fairly priced. Buy online for cheaper tickets that you can also use for a year.

Absolutely amazing. You must visit. Its so beautiful and there is just so much to see an do. Having been to a rainforest myself and from the Mediterranean, i can tell you that both biomes are spectacular. The climate inside, foliage and little details like the small buildings and decor are spot on. Furthermore, the food is nice, however a bit pricey. But its spectacular and i highly recommend

Incredible day out and well worth the money, would totally recommend a visit.
I first came here not long after it opened and it was lovely to come back all these years later and see how much everything has grown and the plant-life has developed.

When we decided to holiday in Cornwall, the one attraction top of my list to visit was the Eden Project, and we were not disappointed, what a place, the rainforest biodome was the highlight, especially the walk to the very top of the dome, worth the entrance fee on it's own,the people working were always on hand for any questions or directions, polite & helpful.we had a lovely lunch as well.we spent nearly 6hrs there, but it felt like half that.i recommend a visit to anyone young & old alike.informative without being judgmental.a top day out.

The biomes are great and are worth visiting!
The cafe/restaurants by the dome need improving - bigger variety and fresher food (eg. pasties are made and left from morning leaving them overdone by the afternoon). Ticket prices are too high compared to similar places (due to financial requirements for further development) and opening hours should be longer.
You'll need a good day to go around also worth checking what is open and what's closing early before you visit.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. This place has great potential and is worth a visit!

Expensive but well worth visiting. Both biomes are well kept and are fascinating for plant lovers. A good day out on both sunny and rainy days. A good range of places to eat, with a variety of menu options at each. Entry ticket last a year, so fantastic if you live close.

Absolutely fantastic. A must visit for the whole
family. Highly educational, and very organised.
Delicious food. Easy parking. Dog friendly, but
there are rules. Gift shop. See website for events
and details. Easy access. Massive free car park.

Nice day out, very educational, good day out for the family.

However, Its over priced for what it is, and food and drinks are highly priced, so would bring a pic nic next time!

Could do with a couple more staff around the facility to offer explanations and answer questions,

A really wonderful experience for the family. A totally exhausting day but worth every second. We found the pathways around the whole park to be perfect with two young kids and pushchairs. The food was good overall and the kids meals were decent quality too. Will be back on our next trip.

Great place to visit with lots to see and do. The collection of plants (and wildlife) is extensive and the biodomes are well laid out to keep your interest at its peak. The waterfall in the Rainforest biodome is breathtaking and makes a great backdrop for your photos.

As a horticultural professional I was disappointed with the quality of the plants both outside and in the biomes. Queues for everything there should not need to be queueing for. Avoid holidays and rainy days to avoid the masses. Educational for the uneducated but displays very ameturish considering the high cost of entry. Shame as I was really looking forward to the visit.

Well worth a day trip. My family and I had the good fortune to visit on a bright, sunny Sunday. The entire grounds seemed to be vibrant and attractive and not too busy with other visitors. My children enjoyed the biomes and, especially, the More

Eden Project is such a great and marvelous place to see, explore, learn, feel, smell and experience all that is has to offer. Great place to entertain adults and children. The bio domes are sucha wonder. Try the baobab drink or see the waterfall, experience pukka tea taster session free or just sit outside and soak it all up.
The staff are amazing and very friendly, very knowledgable and always at hand.

More entertainment center than Garden of Eden. Noisy environment by construction site, entertainment center and tractor train. Very beautiful and rare plants. But where are the insects, small animals and birds? Idea good, implementation in the ecological sense questionable. With 27 pounds quite expensive.

A great day out. So much to see, the plant Biomes are spectacular. Food is a little pricey. My 7 year old grandson really enjoyed The "Core" full of information about our Planet and
How food is produced. Needs a long time to see everything.

A great place to go when it is raining outside :) Good places to eat, especially the Mediterranean restaurant and Juice bar. The tropical dome was full of interesting plants and it was very hot, which felt good after being outside in the cold rain.

Great place to visit.

Great place to visit.
However food is disappointing and expensive.
The pasty shop was serving uncooked food and when customers were complaining they just given the money back .poor service ,unprepared.

There is a park and ride in place from the car park that drops you at the entrance. We had booked the tickets online which works out cheaper and we brought some sandwiches and drinks as other reviews said the food was expensive. There are lockers by the entrance to keep this in till you want it. There is lots of walking so wear sensible footwear. Amazing structures and plants in side. Well worth it and is next to hang loose and you can buy a shared ticket with the gardens of heligan.

Was looking forward to visiting here whilst in the area but left severely disappointed. It was a rainy school holiday day, and there were far too many people to enjoy or appreciate anything. Management need to review access to the biomes as we ended up trapped on the rainforest boardwalk for over half an hour shuffling to get down some stairs to get out! Sustainability, one of Eden's main principles is also questionable - park and ride buses every 5 minutes, unnecessary glass bottles for lemonade and paper cups for the coffee in the cafe!

Excellent day out, we visit each time we stay in Cornwall. Great on rainy days and having the pass to visit multiple times in the year is a good touch. Climbing the staircase to the top of the main dome is very worthwhile and I'd recommend the icecream whilst walking around.

An impressive encouragement to be environmentally aware and sustainably accountable.

From a visit to Cornwall about twenty five or so years ago, to see this grow out of a piece of derelict industrial waste land is spectacular.

Go and enjoy and be inspired to look after the world ...

Absolutely stunning scientific rich wonder. worth going for two days and staying nearby as its somewhere that shouldn't be rushed. There is so much to see in all seasons that you can go a few times and the landscape will be dramatically different. If you donate your pass to charity you get a year pass for the same price as one admission and if you were to buy online you save even more money. Well worth it.
The roul rouls are adorable and if you are patient enough you can find an anole lizard in the rainforest biome.
PS. Ignore the people posing for photos.

We had a great day out with our four and five year olds. They had great fun exploring the biomes, and especially enjoyed the rainforest. In particular they liked the cloud bridge and climbing to the very top.

We also went to the ice rink, here for winter, which was great fun - make sure you book a penguin for small children in advance.

Lunch in the counter served restaurant (nearest the medditeranean) was really good quality, and enjoyed by both adults and children.

We used the electric car charging, which was really convenient, although the DC rapid is quite far away, the regular charging gave us what we needed.

Outstanding value for money. There is so much to see. Very impressive on a botanical, engineering and artistic scale. Book online and get a discount with annual membership for the price of a single admission.

The Eden Project should be on every botanists bucket list! It is well designed and filled with the most diverse, beautiful plants you can find in the World. You must go there, it is a wonderful place for you and the family. Now, the down-side is the price of things and getting into the Eden project this a view from a working-class man. However, it is value for money if you enjoy the beauty of plants. The Eden Project is like going into a different World. A truly magical place.

Expensive food, drink and gifts.

Expensive food, drink and gifts.

So...You want gardens and excitement and a place for both kids and adults? Alton Towers. Based on today's expenses a weekend with hotels at Alton towers would have cost the same as four hours at Eden Project.

Prices aside the Eden Project is great. But not 120 quid each great.
