Eclipse Theater Company Review

I love coming to this theater. Even better, they always have a groupon deal running, so you can always get a great deal. The food and drink menu always changes (seasonal wise) so its never boring.
Must go with family, and friends. Great place!

High class movie experience, with a great bar, and a very good menu. The wait staff is very helpful, and the service button on the seats is a great feature.

I really really wanted to give this place a 5 star rating. I love the layout and the location considering its down town. They staff was very very good and on top of it. The theater was very clean. The problem I had with the entire experience. Was the projector was very loud with the fans on. Now I understand that the theme is to make it seem like home. However since I am in the business of designing and building home theaters. There is no way my clients would stand for the loudness of the fans in theater 8. In the silent parts of the movie all you could hear is the fans cooling the projector. Im glad I sat in the 1st row, because im sure the back few rows sounded like and air plane like my wife said. I think they should revisit how the projector is place in the space. I really like the place much better than Regal since the waitress comes during the movie until the last 15 mins of the movie. Thats a plus.

I really like this theater. My first time here was to see the movie "It" I appriciate the attention to detail here. Little touches like the red balloons to coincide with the movie. The bar offered a specialty drink named after the clown Pennywise. Very clever, please take my money because im a sucker for that type of thing. There was a dessert to pair with the theme of the movie too. I love stuff like that. I like the simple minimalist look. No typical movie posters or advertising clutter and the bathroom was cleanest movie theatre bathroom I have ever used. Another bonus no huge stupid gaps between the door. No one can see in! Especially after a scary-ish movie. The service and food were very good. The sliders my husband ordered were yummy and presented nicely even in the dark. We had dinner before so did not order very much. Next time we might skip sushi and just have dinner there. The popcorn reminded me of homemade popcorn, not microwaved but like my mom made on the stove it doesn't taste like typical movie theater popcorn. The seats were comfy and perfect to snuggle up in. (My husband is 6'3 and he had no complaints) I really like that you get to choose your own seating and I picked seats that I felt we would have the least amount of human interaction sitting in. I almost forgot anyone else was there. Perfect. This theater met and exceeded my expectations and I plan on returning. I don't recommend it for younger children at least 12 and up. My youngest wouldn't appreciate it, but the older ones would.

Don t get me wrong, I LOVE THIS THEATRE. I ve been going here for awhile and all of the staffs are super friendly. The seats are very comfortable. HOWEVER, the black lady in the front register was super RUDE and oversmart. I m never going back to the theatre because of her poor customer service. She brought the overall image of the theatre down.

Great theater! So comfortable and wait staff comes to your seat. They have traditional movie theater selections plus a full menu with great food... and a bar menu ;)

I used to love this place. But they are really letting it fall apart. The sold us a broken chair (we bought the tickets online) asked them to switch us seats. The showing (theater 5) was sold out but there was another showing in theater 1. Same situation, broken seat. Go back and they can move us to theater 3 if we don't mind waiting 30 mins. Ok, sure. Get there and not even joking, that seat is broken also. Now we've waited about an hour and a half (we got there early to have dinner in the lounge but they closed it because of some holiday party) and no food and no movie. We have to wait another 30 mins for a refund because she said the managers aren't answering. I read an article about this place going bankrupt and it's really sad to see. I've always chose this theater for all the big movie releases but not anymore after today.

We loved our ONE experience there! We want to go back, but there never seem to be any good movies playing... It would be great if at least one of the movies offered is something worthy of a Golden Globe or Academy award?

The whole place is great .. the only thing is that it depends on who is making ur cocktails that night. Mine were not well balanced

A very upscale, quiet and comfortable theater to enjoy a movie. Even though it's nice to have servers to take your orders while you sit comfortably, it can also be a distraction from what you or others are watching on screen. Staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely attend again.

$16 for a matinee...a little too pricey but comfortable seats

I don't know why people complain it's expensive. I don't do movies much, but Lion King with the kids was a must. It was $48 compared to only ten dollars cheaper at regal. Here they had a bigger screen, great surround sound, and the ability to order a variety of Applebees style food in the theatre at the push of a button from my seat! The prices were same as Applebees and the food quality just as good, served right to your reclining chair. As locals who live a mile away, our family will visit soon as Disney has an array of releases this year and the quality here was worth the extra $10. Dunno how it will fare against that new earth dome theatre but that place will cost a fortune. I think Eclipse is a great medium between that and a regular theatre. Found our new go to place! PS if u drink they also serve alcohol in movie...but behave..security is dilligent as they should be.

I had the pleasure of checking this theater out over the weekend. It's now my favorite place to see a movie. Super friendly and out going staff. I didn't interact with one person that wasn't pleasant. I love the fact that it is 21 and over only. That alone makes the upcharge worth every penny. Beers were cold and the food was good. While the price of admission is higher then most, food and drinks I thought were reasonably priced for the level of service and experience you receive.

The cons that I noticed. Some construction is still going on, barely noticeable and temporary. The only other con I saw was you're pretty much stuck with using their valet for 10 dollars. It's street parking otherwise. Which is also were the valet parks your car. So if you don't come early, it can be an issue. Or just uber it and that way you can have a really good time.

Even with the 2 cons, this is still easily a 5 star place.

I didn't go to the theater part I went to the lounge part for my friend's husband's birthday and it was really nice had a good time

The seats are super comfortable recliners, that's worth it on its own.

I loved this place. Someone told me about it and I had to check it out. I've gone multiple times. It's my new place to watch movies on the big screen.

We had a Groupon for two tickets, two drinks, and a popcorn for $45. This place is a hidden gem. Staff was friendly and attentive. The popcorn was great and the drinks come in actual glasses. The seats are very comfortable, and parking is close and free. We will definitely be coming back!

Parking seemed a bit scary as this isn't the best area and homeless are just strolling around. However the hit at the front desk assured me it was fine. The front desk treats you like a person and pick up was easy. Usually you give your name and then are forced to show 20 Id's and the credit card used ect.... nope. Name I used and I had my tickets. Up to the bar which is closed off to the public and it's actually very nice. Another man to check tickets and ID to enter the bar which keeps out the kids and rift raft and we were in. The bar tender was nice and so far everything have been great.

Very impressive! Very clean facilities with luxurious and comfortable seating. The champagne service was a nice touch to!

Very clean place. The prices are insane though. They did forget my kids drink a few times but we do appreciate the fact that they bring the food to you and the food was honestly phenomenal. The seats were comfortable. Very nice place.

I came here for an event (Latin fix- Tuesdays) and I had such a good time!

Second time coming here, because we wanted to give it another try but we had the exact same experience. They market themselves as luxurious theater, so our expectations were a bit high. But we were a little disappointed, I do have to say that the recliners are extremely comfortable, the sound and image of the actual movie was amazing! And I truly appreciate having a vegan option on the menu (Cauliflower Buffalo Wings) and the service was impeccable but the overall smell of the theater is disgusting the movie room smelled like they cleaned throw up and feces and didnt do a good job the smell was stronger the second time around (even had to step outside mid movie because the smell was so strong)

I am going to add that if you are looking for a lowkey movie date stop this is the place to be ive inly shared both movies ive been too with another couple.. so its always empty ..

Way over priced,to small, bedbugs, dangerous neighborhood,way to loud you will leave with a headache.just awful I want to say something good but just can't it's that.not to mention our sherrif literally sent uniformed officers into theater to make sure an independent movie about the badly botched law enforcement investigation of what is turning into a cover-up I'm not paranoid or a conspiracy buff but I live here.avoid your life isn't worth dying to see a movie you can see on TV in less than a year.

This was mine and my boyfriend first here and its was pretty cool! Loved the seats, fast service! It was nice not to get up in The movies for ONCE. Lol

Very nice movie theater! Chairs were comfortable. I loved the menu and the option to have a drink while watching. Staff was very nice as well.

Unique theater experience. Overall great concept and great date night. Service was a bit rough but if they improve will be amazing. My guy never got his beer and my flatbread was wrong order. Never saw or could figure out where the service button was though we were told of its existence.

Super comfy seats, food is great, and the service is amazing. Some say it's pricey...but I'd rather pay $12 for something delicious that has been just cooked right there than pay $12 for a box of stale gummy worms at the usual theater. Yes, waiters swing by to drop off your food and check, so he/she may block the screen very briefly, but it's totally understandable (it's service at your seat and you are warned beforehand). I really enjoyed this place!

Not the only "luxury" theater in Vegas.. but the absolute best. Unbelievable service, incredible experience every time. I always look forward to my next visit. Thank you!!

Here for awards show ordered a coke 45 minuets ago. Worst service ever. Dont have events here not enough servers for your guests.

It was the theater I wanted to check out so it was a must go the theater is really nice on the inside the only thing I was meh about was how expensive the place is I did enjoy the whole get your ticket go have a seat and place your order from your seat don't have to sit in long lines went early so I don't know what it's like during busy times

Very soothing atmosphere stting with excellent hostesses.

Staff generally friendly and courteous. Parking never a problem. I've been there three times already. On one occasion, there were no paper towels to dry your hands in the men's restroom. The other day watching "Valerian", theater 8 had a musty smell like they used an old mop to clean the floor or an old rag to wipe the seats. Yesterday, watching "Atomic Blonde" in theater 1 was perfect. I must say, though, I purchased a membership a month and a half ago and am still waiting for the t-shirts they promised to mail. Their excuse was that "they changed all the management." I spoke to a new manager and he didn't seem to care. I know they're only t-shirts but they come with paid membership. They should follow through with promises because there are closer (and cheaper) theaters I can enjoy.

Great theatre. Definitely a place with good food and drinks. I like that its not your typical theatre. Wish parking was better. Great for date nights.

Considering it poses as a luxury theater I felt that some things about this theater could be improved. I came here a while back with my boyfriend and there wasn t any good parking spaces so that was kind of frustrating. We got in and bought tickets we met a black man with dreads(forgot his name) and he seemed nice. He asked to check my back and all I had was a water bottle in it and he said that was fine and I could take it in with me. Our movie wasn t playing till an hour later so we left and came back. Once we came back the same man asked to check my bag again and all I had was the water bottle still and he said I Couldn t take it in with me. I thought that was strange of him to go back on his word like that but I brushed it off. But when we tried to find our seats they were numbered wrong so we didn t know where exactly to sit so we asked him for assistance and he made it seem like it was a hassle for him to assist us to our correct seating. The food items on the menu are a little high but the seats are comfy and the sound and picture was great. Only thing that needs improvement here is management.

Initially, happy about the concept, I was a little underwhelmed by the price. It would have been easier to swallow with maybe a little bit more within walking distance. Still, it seems the investors thought of that by way of the lounge you find inside of the Eclipse. I was surprised to find out you can enter the lounge without paying for a movie ticket. And there was a DJ in there. And there is space for dancing. I also read they have brunch on Sunday. The Eclipse does set itself apart I'm selections. But if you're not up for most of their unique chef inspired items, you have to try the popcorn. Not your typical movie theater popcorn, it was the best I've had...anywhere. what makes it more spectacular are the Groupons I found which offer two tickets, popcorn and soda for two which equates to less than you'd spend at an AMC. If you're on the fence about trying the place, this definitely makes it worth it.

My grandson was so happy! My entire experience was amazing! The staff was friendly! The food was great! The service was excellent and swift. The movie was crystal clear and the sound was not overwhelming and i could feel the special effects. I'm excited to return there Great place to go watch a movie. They have a menu set aside on your seat. You can order what they have on the menu and they will bring it to your seat. Somewhat expensive. But worth it. They also serve alcohol drinks. Seats are comfortable you might fall asleep

First visit and this theater delivered and impressed. Never imagined that such a high-quality theater would be in downtown Las Vegas. The bar and the lounge are absolutely top-notch resort-style. Best place to take your girl or your guy to impress and have a wonderful time. Bring a jacket the theaters are very cold.

Parking is terrible too small. Employees have a very bad attitude, they seem tired and when you press to oder food it takes forever to for them to go take your order and get you food. You should be able to order before you get in the movies and just show your set. This theatre has aged too fast
