I have ordered for Samsung TV to gift my cousin on her marriage on 21st of Aug, and received my order on 5th of sep but before gifting it to her, I just crossed checked it. when i opened it and switched on TV i was shocked it see the damaged screen. and felt upset by seeing that as i my regular customer of ebay. we never hope that you will cheat us like this that too such a valuable thing.
Hence i will not order any thing for your website and will strongly recommend all friends and family member not to purchase any item from ebay and will share my negative experience with photos though social media.
this is not the first time which is happening i ordered for I phone 4S on same ebay website but even that is also a worst conduction

Never make the mistake of using a guest account on eBay. I ordered something which was never delivered to me, and there's no way I can ever get a refund. When I tried to warn others about the predatory seller, eBay censored my forum post.

Ebay is the worst company in the world. They don't respect sellers. They produce cheaters. They provide an excellent cheat tool. You can easily fool another person. ebay employees do not even try to resolve the dispute. According to their rules, the buyer is always right. ebay terms are fiction. They have power over every website user and use it ruthlessly. No arguments or evidence reach them. If an eBay employee writes to you that the sun revolves around the earth, then you as the seller must agree with this. Even if you took him into space with a NASA shuttle and showed him otherwise, he would stay with his statement. In my company, I would never want an employee who previously worked at ebay. I hope that the owners of the company for not respecting other people will soon fry in hell. ebay is the worst company in the world!
I hate eBay now as a seller, they take %10 of the sale and charge you regardless of item sale. Had only 2 listings up and neither sold, I m out $126 now and sold nothing!
All the adds of no seller fees and no insertion fees are complete garbage to try and get you to use them.
And they outsource their call center to India for customer support, extremely frustrating to deal with.

This is the worst customer service that I have ever had with any company. I have worked in customer service for years. They lied to me, called me a liar, and refused to apologize when they were caught on their lies. Ebay is the worst company to deal with in the world.

Seller Beware. I shipped a perfectly good playstation game system to Marianne Alwaque-Buffo TACOMA, WA. Marianne claimed it didn't work and then shipped back her old broken system to me. I opened a claim against her. Ebay made me pay all fees, didn't allow me to leave negative feedback to warn other sellers of this fraud. How does ebay protect sellers? Seems like anyone can go on their site and steal whatever they want. And ebay is protecting their company and the buyer by not allowing negative feedback. Then they look like they are a reputable place to do business. Sincere feedback stating information about the sale should not be regulated. I understand it may go both ways but let others determine who is telling the truth. Terrible service by ebay. Will not do business with again.

Ebay is great its fast in delivery when I ordered on the early weekday. And nothing ever comes broken or missing, and I can always comunicate with the seller :)
Buy from eBay! They support small businesses by not competing with their sellers like Amazon does. Amazon is the disgusting corporation stealing from its own sellers. Oh and did I mention eBay's concierge customer service is US based, not poorly spoken outsourced CS like all of Amazons.
Ebay allows sale of pirated software. They refuse to get me my money back and side with the pirate. Ebay allows scammers to screw you over. Do not use ebay for anything, better off doing business in person or with any of the new apps coming out.
They took money from my pay pal account for a seller fee when I never sold the product. This was in June. They have issued the credit but continue to lie about processing it to my bank account. It has been almost 20 phone calls, more than 10 hours of trying to get MY money BACK that was ILLEGALLY TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT. Really unbelievable this is happening. No one take accountability. I have been told I would receive call backs from supervisors multiple times and NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED ME BACK, making me explain the issue to reps that dont care and have no authority every time I call to check to see where my money is. I've been told inaccurate information and have been flat out lied to multiple times. There are multiple other ways to sell and trade used goods. I will never use eBay or PayPal again.
I dont know what i did to eBay, but i just start first time in my life selling things on eBay after buyer bid and didn't pay for it before i open case on ebay, ebay blocked my account and now when i contacted them they said i cant use it anymore ebay and there is no way to unblock my account, why they block? no explanation just kicking me out.

Sell an item on ebay, the buyer can return a box of rocks to you, get their money back, plus have the seller pay for return shipping (as well as shipping to the buyer) and they will get their money back 100% of the time. Try calling ebay customer service to tell them about it? Good luck. The Indians in the call center won't even understand what you are trying to tell them, nor will they or ebay care. They got their cut, and it cost the seller $50 worth of shipping, their time, and now they no longer have the item. No thanks.

On Sep 15 I sold macbook to jovfra4 of ebay. Upon sale ebay sent me a prompt via app stating "its time to ship the item" Sent via UPS and delivered on sat 16. Monday 18 I receive an email from ebay that buyer is fraudulent and has been removed from ebay. I call paypall on monday. advised me that was paid with and echeck and it will take 3 days to clear, never clears. on sep 22 i receive and email from paypal stating that the payment was made and cancelled on September 15. I have called ebay and paypal multiple times and cant help me at all secondary to buyer not being part ebay anymore but he was at the time of the sale. They have advised me to go to the persons address to claim money or item. Ebay should not let these people place bids without checking backgrounds. how can ebay allow this and blow sellers away. I got this buyer from ebay not randomly on the street. pretty much ebay says they cannot help me, nor report the buyer because he is no longer part of ebay. Seriously they were kicked out of ebay now im left without the item and without money. Ebay should not allow people like this bid, and also, they should not send an app prompt advising sellers to ship and then, 2 days later say that buyer has being removed, lets relist ur item. ebay even sent me a charge for 10%
if ebay would have never sent me an app prompt to ship item, i would have never lost the item. i was advised to send item by them and they advised me that the buyer was fraudulent too late. i believe that they are responsible for this transaction. i cant believe that i can not be helped nor report this buyer simply because he is not registered any more secondary to ebay kicking him out, taking ZERO responsibilities of their actions and not helping customers.

well i have spent 5 days trying to find out why my funds are being held. i have been a seller for 2 years and now they are telling me in order for my funds to be released i must sell 25 items in 90 days. i am not an ebay bussiness and this is unfair being a 100% buyer/seller on ebay. was told on 3 seperate occasions my funds would be released but no help. tryed to call corporate after no satisfaction from cs. cant get anyone on the phone. ebay wonders why they are loosing so many people i guess its due to poor practices . can someone tell me what i can do? plz this is rediculous

Ebay deleted 68 of my positive feedbacks by mistake when they wanted to remove a negative feedback extortion, after week and half of dealing customer service, they did not offer any resolution and they simply said we are humans and we make mistakes too.

after years as a buyer, lately I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of service, indeed accessibility of ebay. I have been getting inferior items and less than the number ordered and impossible to resolve issue. The only way to contact a live person is through paypal who says they cannot do anything without ebay OK, who (Rosario) then says that it is my fault that I am getting a run around on their web site. I tried to contact corporate, but they too are completely without humans. After years of paypal and ebay I find that Amazon is far more professional and responsive. So I guess it is amazon and credit card company from here on in.
You money grubing theives. I report a fraudulant seller with proof from UPS and you refuse to help. I guess I'm just one of MANY people screwed and need to jump on one of these class action suites.

No respect for sellers! 96.7% postive feedback and they closed my seller account, when I called them to appeal they treated me like a child. They told me they understand I need time to process what happened like I can't understand or comprehend my account be shut down.
Overall:
Left me with big bill for last month on site shut down account with no warning.

Not only that ebay after being told that sellers are selling counterfeit items an old items instead of new when they say they're new they still continue on having them sellers on eBay. I'm no longer shopping on eBay and I will be reporting them.

Many issues selling internationally. I made the shipping free, but when the customer goes to purchase its telling them the shipping is $60.
PLEASE remove the "you've exceeded the maximum number of times you can reply to this message today. Please wait until tomorrow to reply again." when responding to customers. STUPID AF.

after over 800 sells and purchases ebay finally failed on buyer protection. purchased a item that had a 60 day warrenty and ebay give 7 days to ship it back. I was on vacation for the 10 days then when I got home found the email and had no recourse. so now im out 219.99 for tubes that are defective with no warrenty thanks ebay for nothing
had an issue with a seller listing incorrect information. i contacted seller they did nothing, contacted ebay to file a complain and for a refund and a shipping label..
called ebay and they said it would be resolved by 8/29/2016 and that i would be getting a shipping label to send it back. and then i called today 8/30/2016 i need to pay for shipping and they dont care about the facts in the case and that i can deal with it and that i agreed to this when i signed up on ebay. not very happy with the service and being lied to

They are refusing to give me my refund back after the three day period time , the defended the seller that did not act in a responsible way to ship my item , they put me on hold for three hours and did not resolve my issue and all the higher position costumer service has given me wrong information for three hours straight , i have reported their abuse to the BBB and consumer affairs for the abuse of keeping me for three hours on the phone and not given me the right information i needed , they did not register on time the situation and i had to pay for the unprofessional attitude and unfairness to me as the consumer , they should be a shamed of them self for not taking this situation to satisfying level with me as the costumer i don't recommend no body to purchase from Ebay they have sellers that are criminals by taking your money and being protected by eBay in a matter that they give them the time of their life to run away with the money until this day i have not heard from the seller .

Very upset with Ebay not providing access with American call centers. If I am going to conduct business with an American company I expect to be able to conduct my business with an American call center.

I sell items on Ebay. I note in my ads that I am disabled and unable to travel 10 kilometers to the post office to have my items registered. I offer inexpensive Canada post shipping as the option. I have stamps delivered to me through the mail. I do note that with regular mail the seller assumes responsibility for the lost items. This has worked well. I have thousands of sales and a 100% seller rating.
Recently a new customer filed a claim against me claiming that they did not receive an item. I outlined my condition and the details he agreed to when he made a purchase. This didn't stop ebay from helping themselves to my bank account (without authorization). I have spoken to customer service on many occasions and they are completely unsympathetic to how they discriminate against how their policies discriminate against the physically handicapped/ restricted. Not very progressive on how they deal with minority groups.
EBAY allowed my buyer to double his money AND keep my $200 item. Customer service kept saying, "the buyer said..." Although I was able to contradict everything the buyer said with EBAY and PAYPAL's own records, I had to also produce my checking account records, my credit card records, USPS records, and copy their own records showing refunds of $400 on a $200 sale and payment due me from buyer. Sell at your own risk! Ebay won't be there for you.

Just saw an article in the AFA Journal about how PayPal has partnered up with the corrupt, leftist org, SPLC. Whoever is managing PayPal ought to be fired and someone with an actual thinking brain put in charge. Called ebay about this but they said if I want to keep on as a seller I NEED to use stupid paypal. Methinks I'm done with both of them and will sell my unique goods on Amazon from now on. I have NO use for ebay and their rotten mgmt.

It is very difficult to get ahold of any reasonable eBay customer support. I guess realistically they don't need very much customer support as there is a tremendous amount of business going through eBay, however you can get reasonable customer service through Amazon Seller sites so in comparison it's quite atrocious. It won't take long before Amazon figures out how to better emulate some of the things eBay does and dominate in that area as well.

Ebay has fallen into a Customer Service abyss . Ebay provide no means of communicating other than telephone -which means explaining problems multiple times to multiple people . And if the problem has any complexity at all ,the odds on finding anyone in customer service who understands American English to even grasp the problem -seems a near impossibility.

Company has been selling on eBay for 10+ years and every year they send out more aggressive fees and surcharges. After reading the new July 2020 eBay seller fees they only care about their own dollar. The new commercials about eBay keeping small business alive is a joke!

My wife (a mother of four young boys) recently purchased a Nintendo switch lite on eBay. It took weeks to arrive due to COVID and when the package came, it was folded up paper. She ordered it for our son, a failed attempt to make being isolated from everyone in his life on his birthday better. Frantic, I reached out to eBay thinking they would help me. Surely a company like eBay wasn t going to let such blatant fraud happen. I opened a claim, contacted the seller (who is no longer a seller on your site) and waited for my refund. The rep told me the seller had 30 days and I had to wait. I called the day after and the rep told me the case was closed but she would have the fraud department call me. They never did. With all that is going on, trying to work, take care of my kids and survive, I was finally able to request a call again today. (It is not easy to get a hold of a rep) Although the rep was very polite, he said the claim is closed and I had missed it by one day. I escalated the call and a supervisor got on. After being on the phone for an hour and a half at this point, he told me exceptions can be made but not for me. I asked him to do something, to please try and he refused.
eBay benefited from a crime being committed, took advantage of the current pandemic situation, purposefully made it difficult for me to reach the company and then refused to help me. I put trust in ebay and it was clearly misplaced.
I want you to know that I may be only one person, but this seller was a pro and has done it multiple times. I don t want this to happen to anyone else and feel it would be wrong not to tell as many people as I can, on as many platforms as possible to reach as many people as I can so they avoid buying on eBay. In these uncertain times, I think it s important for the little guys to look out for each other, I wish business like eBay felt the same.

eBay customer service is a joke. I have been overbilled on my account for months. I spend hours on the phone with customer "service" trying to resolve the issue. My June '18 invoice is for $1175.86, my fees for June are $970.34 , my credits for NPB and cancellations is $709, leaving a balance due of $261.34. Customer service says "PAY THE INVOICE, OR WE'LL CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT"

Shopping from ebay was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. They sent me wrong item, and they tell me you should send us back and pay shipping yourself which will be so expensive. They are all lier. And they are doing fraud.

Very bad customer service, a buyer tried scamming me by using another picture of a different item on eBay. And you know what ebay demanded that I take back the item even though I don t accept returns. Oh and this decision was literally made within two minutes of me opening a case against the buyer!!!! I warn you DO NOT DO BUSINESS with Ebay. Horrible company and business would give 0 stars if i could. I use ebay to buy and sell but am now moving to amazon since ebay is scamming all its customers especially its sellers. There is absolutely no seller protection and if a buyer destroys your brand new item their still allowed to return it and all the costs the seller must pay. Ebay confirmed that we you appeal a case it is a robot that makes the decision in the buyers favor so therefore the seller always looses. Ebay is also very tough to work with and takes no responsibility even when it is their fault.
I have been here many years and selling also and had some personal issues and this crazy jacked up company i had limits over 30,000,00 lowered my limits to 2600.00 even though i had 99% good feedback many sales and everthing top rated except i had 7 cases and 3 i closed myself and they go and do this to my account they are crap and not sure i will continue the relationship with them .....i just dont understand why they would do this to 99% positive feedback and many sales and lower it to this and did it without notification so boooooooo ebay you have crapy rules!!!!!! I am sure i can find another place. Our problems were due to medical conditions and hospitalizations fire and child related problems and this is how they thank you when you post here. The sellars arent protected here they can make claims that really arent true and get money and item so they win and you loose no matter what you do.
I am a knife collector and bought several knives from a seller on ebay who claimed the knives were handmade.. Later I found out the knives were not handmade and in fact they were CNC machines knives. My discussions with the seller went nowhere and I decided to leave negative feedbacks for the seller and tell the fact that the knives they were selling were not handmade.
Well, ebay removed all my feedbacks for this seller and accused me of trying to extort product or services from the seller and blocked me from activity on ebay for 14 days.
As leaving feedbacks is a basic right of the buyers in ebay I feel my rights were violated by ebay in addition to have been falsely and unfairly accused of extortion. And they protected a dishonest crook at my expense.
Why licensing people permit ebay managers to abuse the little power they have and violate the rights of buyers like this is not clear to me. I certainly wish they question the conduct of ebay and put a stop to this nonsense.
eBay can't insure safety for sellers or buyers. Do yourself a favor and find another way to get rid of your unused items! I sold a $700 VR set and sent the item. The 'buyer' then canceled the purchase claiming that "a hacker purchased the item". So while the item was half way to the destination, I had to call and have it sent back to me. I lost $50 on sending the package and a whole lot of wasted time. I wasn't refunded my money and will never be using eCrap again.
