I went to Eaton Hill to watch a Muay Thai Fight Event and this was a brilliant venue to cater for this...it enabled us to get excellent views of fight from many vantage points...totally enjoyed night there and security was very good as well.

We had lunch in the Bistro. The steaks were tender and cooked to perfection the price very good and only a short walk from our accommodation which was also 4.5star. situated in a big complex with a golf club next door
I've never felt totally comfortable. The staff don't seem that happy. A couple of times we've been refused entry to the sports bar due to a guest that wasn't wearing the right shoes or shirt. This was ridiculous when we were in our 40s and 50s at the time and dressed neatly for dinner.
Shocking. All in keeping with their seedy image at a desperate attempt to get some youth cred. Tragic in its attempt to be cool and hip. Avoid the dirty rooms, tasteless food and condescending service.
The show was awesome but the Eatons Hill crowd were rude and agressive,as usual. I haven't been to a show there that has not been without incident and it's the 40 to 50 age group! Grow up people
Beautiful place to eat with a group. Appealing menu and selection of meals. I ordered ribs, but was really quite disappointed. They were overdone and tough. Hopefully it was just an off night.
Had the most beautiful relaxing stay here, from the moment I called to book room to the moment I left. Every member of staff was incredibly amicable, professional and obliging. Great facilities, great gym, heated pool. Room opulently furnished with luxurious carpet and bathroom, large TV and the most comfortable bed and complete block out curtains. Room is dim and romantic. Ordered breakfast room service and had probably the best cappucino I've ever had. Would stay again. Convenient for me travelling to Brisbane when I live on sunshine coast.
Stayed here for a week for a business trip. Woolworths is just at the door step. And a few good restaurants close to it. Quite a new hotel so it is still quiet. There is a pub close to the hotel for drinks and casual dinner. Room is comfortable and clean.
Lovely , so relaxing as a Elite athlete wanting a place which is clean, quiet as rest is so important. Staff are friendly and nothing is a problem . I would highly recommend this hotel.
Awesome venue for live music. Great acoustics and layout. Plenty of parking. Diverse range of bands and genres. Avoid buying tickets for the upstairs balcony if you are a smoker or a drinker!
Enjoyable food, nice restaurant, good view. The stars are nice also. Been there a few of times now and each time they've been great. I will be going back :-)
Nice place very cool ,the pizza was good nice ambience. It would be better if there was a quiet spot away from the bands on a Sunday afternoon. Outside was ok till they piped in the music from the band.
I've been to a few bands here and it's been pretty good for a relatively small venue. I guess it depends on who your seeing and what they play as to how much you enjoy it.
For the money you pay to stay at this place and the quality of room that you got wasn't to die for. Our room was not clean still had dirty clothes on there from whoever stayed on there before toilet was? I won't mention that. But the staff was really lovely
I am extremly dissappointment in the way the booking for our wedding on 28th September 2013 in the Grand Ballroom North, was inappropriately double booked to co-incide with a Music Festival on the lawn outside on the same evening, despite our advance booking in January this year.
I am absolutely gobsmacked that this has happened, just 3 months before our wedding.
How on earth could we enjoy the venue with a Musical Festival just outside the room, we wouldn't be able to hear ourselves think, or hear our own music for the evening, or do the speeches without the music outside intruding the airwaves in the room, and we would not of been able to enjoy the terrace outside the room. It's just wrong.
Kaileb, the functions coordinator took no blame for this, and had the audacity to suggested I change the date and all my bookings with the celebrant, photographer, hairdressers, musicians, and re-issue my invitations. I was offered another date, but he couldn't promise the same thing wouldn't happen again.
What is amazingly ridiculous is that Eatons Hill describes it's Wedding venue as Grandeur, Opulence, Elegance, and I quote from your website:.. "Our events team is dedicated to making your wedding seamless as possible. From the moment you make the first enquiry to that last kiss goodbye, you will feel confident that your day will be one to remember. If you are seeking that point of difference, an expression of your individuality, let our beautiful venue be your starting point.
Obviously that does not apply if a Music Festival will be happening outside the room.
I am dissappointed that i have not been offered a written apology, or compensation for the grief and dissappointment, and inconvenience of having to find another suitable venue.
I have yet to receive a written appology from management, and so i can only come to the conslusion that they have no regard whatsoever for what happened to me and my fiance.
Rest assured i am on a mission to let as many people as i can know what has happened to us and warn them that it could happen to them. I will spread the word far and wide.
It was raining, & too far to walk home so camped the night upstairs. There were a few confusions with trying to book online so we had to book & pay at the counter but staff was very calm & sweet. Lights were so dark in the level hehehe felt kinda like a CSI scene was being filmed! Room was dimly lit, nothing too bright. Bed wasn't too soft or too firm. Pillows were all too big & hard for me so I rolled up the quilt as a pillow. Shower temp was nice but didn't really have any pressure. I didn't mind, but I know some people like to feel the drops almost peirce their skin ROFL The shampoos & body wash soaps were gorgeous! Beautiful full length glass walls on the north wall, so there was a lovely view of an open field, I'm guessing of the driving range, just all misty & fogged over. For one night it was a bit costly but I felt like I could stay there all week!
Before Covid19 this was our local. We haven't been here for a while. I ordered the Chicken Caesar salad and was unpleasantly surprised. The chicken was dry, the salad underdressed and the egg not runny. A poor lazy attempt at a Caesar. Basically a bowl of lettuce, a boiled egg and overcooked chicken and bacon. $22 of very little. I hope they'll do better next time.
I booked a table for dinner on Saturday night and asked to be seated near a specific booking as we were celebrating with them. A staff member at EH called me and told me we would be seated across a walkway from them, I told them that was fine. We then arrived at the bistro for said dinner to be seated on the other side of the restaurant, and then staff wouldn t even try to move us/swap us to another table that was closer. Very poor to be told something by someone, and then to get there and not have anyone try to solve the issue that the people on my table and I were facing.
Nice big venue! The EH can accommodate all of your needs. Hotel stays, live concerts, restaurant meals, beer garden, private function room for meetings or events and a walk in bottleo. Friendly staff.
Went to see a concert with my family, as we had under 18s we were upstairs away from bar where only a few people cound see the stage, everyone else had to just stand around listening to it and watching the few that could see enjoying the concert. Worst concert venue I have ever been too. Would not attend ever again.
Had a work function here with aboutb10 staff as a wind down from a difficult period. Started late afternoon and carried on in to the night. EH had great atmosphere Friendly and proactive staff. As the night went on there was ample security who seemd fair and kept a great eye on the patrons. Overall was a great night will definitely be back again. 5 stars from me
Ordered the steak there twice. First time I ordered it medium rare & it was overdone. The second time I ordered it rare & it came out blue. Was there for a concert both times so it's not like I had the time to sit around waiting for them to get it right. It's not that hard to cook a steak right the first time especially if it's supposed to be your job, it's easier than boiling an egg. If you can't cook it the way a customer orders it the first time don't bother cooking it at all. A hint if you decide to eat here, don't get the steak.
This hotel is a rip off. Room is filthy, hasn t been vacuumed or wiped down in a long time! Dust and spiderwebs lining the corners of walls and windows. This hotel should only have a 1 star. 4.5 starts is very miss leading. Waste of money and defiantly would not recommend staying here.
