Eatons Hill Hotel Review

Saw a great band there.
Bought 1 drink of watered down , ice filled plastic cup of orange juice for $5.30 !!
What a RIP OFF...never going back!!

THIS IS NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY RESTAURANT

Poor treatment of my family with our pram, sat us in the middle of the busiest part despite my mentioning at booking time that we would like a quiet spot for our baby to sleep. All I really wanted was somewhere that our pram wouldn't get bumped or tripped on. Within 5 minutes it had been bumped twice.

When we pointed to a free and quiet table in the corner the staff and manager would not consent to our moving stating that it would not be comfortable for other guests. There was heaps of room, our baby was asleep and making no noise.

Left and went to the Albany ck where we are always assisted and had a good night afterall

Eaton Hills Hotel, is an amazing experience wether watching a concert or dining there's so much to enjoy its an amazing venue.
The drinks are cold and the staff are friendly!

Clean spot. Seems to be pretty popular. Decent selection of booze and the food is on point.

Great place to see bands. Is a long way from me but worth it every time

Fantastic venue with an awesome looking Sports Bar. Bistro meal was good (gnocchi with pulled pork) if anything serving was a little small

Went for a charity luncheon and was impressed with quality of food for mass catering room lay out was beautiful, young waitresses a little under trained , wine list and more choice would be highly recommended especially as large venue stocking lots of wines across the road is same business.

HORRIBLE VENUE! was not allowed into the bar after a gig in the down stairs area because i was wearing skate shoes, security guard swore at me trying to entice a fight as he had the police behind him to back him up. I wasn't drunk so i wasn't falling for his power trip. very disappointed in the way the venue treats its clientele.

Super fun bar and music location for a Friday and Saturday night.

As for a restaurant the meals have never been all that great. Multiple Occassion it has been witnessed the cooks arguing with the chef. However Has a nice atmosphere

I was given a birthday voucher for a meal on Eatons Hill Hotel upon finding out that it is only valid for my birthday month July, today being the 1st of August I rang to see if they would make a one day exception they said they wouldn't.....
The one night I get to go out with my husband without the kids I won't be making any effort go and eat at Eatons Hill Hotel with very little customer service like that.

Fantastic, clean and super comfortable hotel. One of the best places I ve stayed in.

Got there a bit earlier than the time booked (not that much). The manager (I assume he was) was a bit grumpy and not very helpful. Had to wait a while at the bar to get service. Food orders were placed by each family member, so we had to split the bill. This upset the grumpy manager more since we had not said this upfront. Our error yes but no need for the grumbling. Food was good and was served promptly. I would go back again as it might have just been a one off. Not sure.

Excellent service and nice staff. The venue is amazing with plenty of carparks and easy access.

The wait time for the food was rather long, but they dropped my food before it left the kitchen. So they quickly prepared another one and gave me a free drink of my choice! The food was delicious and I could hardly eat enough.

Good Venue if you have a lift or aren't drinking. Uber or taxi your only options otherwise.

Attended a ladies brunch in one of the reception rooms. Very nice and the food was exceptional.

Fantastic club and bar with nice indoor bar and dance floor as well as a nice outdoor area as well. Very popular with the young crowd. If you find yourself there order a kryptonite is seen as the drink of the club.

Huge complex with multiple area's. Massive big screen outside in beer garden. Drinks are a bit pricey with the exception of happy hour specials

Security guard was a douche (as is to be expected from all security guards). Wouldn't let me bring a small-ish film camera in to see a live show without any reason provided. Place is in the middle of nowhere too. Wouldn't bother going back.

When there is a live music venue, this place has the worst organisation in the world.

Beautiful decor. Food is nice but probably a little pricey for serving size.

Always a good light show, always a long drive home.

Was so excited to attend the Eatons Hill Hotel for mums birthday/Mother s Day but unfortunately it wasn t to be. Fully understand that Mother s Day is completely full but we ended up having one extra person attending and they could not fit one extra person in. We were happy to squeeze a chair in. Sadly we had to cancel our booking as they could not accommodate us. Very disappointing with the lack of flexibility because I m sure there will be no shows at other tables.

Staff are EXCELLENT!! The rooms are beautiful great venue all round.

Over priced and ordinary food. The only reason I will ever go there again is for a function I'm not paying for.

The security guards here are great, I want to recognise Matt who diffuses situations whether I am apart of them or not. Thank you in general for thanking care of everyone. Definitely my favourite spot!

Pennywise Strung Out No Fun At All BEST NIGHT EVER!!!

Lousy food quality slow as hell to get the food out place is poorly lit very unsafe bouncers and staff and rude inconsiderate and pushy I would give ZERO stars if I could never comming back will tell others to avoid this place at all costs

Easy to get to. Lots of parking. Place is amazing, lots of bars.

Went to an event in the ball room at the start of the night, afterwards headed to the actual pub to see the place and keep the night going. Partner got denied because he had dress shorts on. Like its summer? Pretty pathetic if you ask me, just missed out on heaps of service with a big group of people. Manager was absoluetly rude about it too. Wish I never came there in the first place and spent money in the ball room. Definatly won't be back and will let everyone know not to waste their time visiting EH.

Great food, comfortable dining, choice to take away

Our daughter has been staying at the Eatons Hill Hotel accomodation for many months.

We seriously have been so impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and high quality accomodation at this hotel. The beds are so comfortable, the pillows amazing, the hotel clean and well looked after and the staff are exceptional.

Nothing is too much for this hotel. They go above and beyond the call of duty and care so much about each guest and their experience. Even down to hosting our daughters 21st and making sure this was a memorable experience for her.

If anyone is looking for wonderful accomodation and also a venue for a party or work event, they do an amazing job here.

We have a list of favourite staff of course but can t thank the owners and General Manager Murray enough for their understanding and support during our daughters time in the hotel.

Very prejudice and unfriendly staff which ruin the whole experience. Praying bands stop playing there.

It was a great place to stay the staff made feel so welcome. Rooms were great so was the pool. Enjoyed our stay.

Bartenders could do with training on how to serve those waiting for 25 minutes on multiple occasions for water before serving those waiting 2 mins for alcohol. It's not nice being dehydrated.

As for functions, this is one of the best venues in the area. Well equipped and well designed/decorated.

New hotel wing and shopping facilities add a lot to the area. Pricing is reasonable for what you get.

Nice modern pub, good food, I got a chicken burger with chips and it was a big serve and tasty. Didn't have to wait long. There is a fancy restaurant there also if you want more upmarket but pricier meals.

Really impressive venue for the Northside of brisbane, great asset! Very popular on a Friday night, especially for the younger crowd. Food is good but expensive, which is expected for a nice tavern. Great place to go for a Sunday afternoon snack and drink with some friends. The artists they get at this venue is also impressive!

Great place for a function, plenty of private venues to suit your occasion.

On events they should have more/better directions for parking

Really great place. Pity all the vomit from people being drunk. Watched one girl vomit all over herself in the beer garden. Though this is not a hotel problem as such. But maybe more enforcing drinks limits.

Has all the options presented in a professional manor. Beers with mates, sport event or family dinner! Outstanding...

We had battered fish chips and salad well it was not fit to be eaten when you take the batter off the fish was mush I called over a waiter over and told her that and got a refund.We will never go back again very disappointed.

It was okay food, they had something on outside and the bass from the music while we were eating dinner was quite annoying and while eating dinner the staff were reaching over taking empty plates while I was halfway through my dinner, I thought it was quite rude won't be rushing back for an over priced pub meal

Amazing steak, not sure if it makes up for small tv when you're trying to watch the game

Food is excellent, the portions are huge BUT they don't give takeaway boxes. "I can give you a pizza box, it's all I'm legally allowed to give you" was the waiter's answer. Really weird. Other than that it's a good location. Pro tip: sit at the beer garden if you're there for lunch, you'll avoid the hordes of badly raised little runts running around in the bistro.

Great venue and set up. Food is average. Bouncers are a bit arrogant and creates an unwelcoming presence. Dress codes confused. Really feel they target who they want. Really Unfortunate. Could be a great place.

What an awesome venue! Went for the first time to the Skid Row gig last week a s loved it. The gig was brilliant and the space was perfect for it. Can't wait to come back for another gig!
