Nice food. Great venue. Warm & inviting atmosphere, friendly staff. Very kid friendly
It has a lot of good bands perform. Would like to come for a gig.

This hotel hosts a yearly rodeo where animals are tortured for human amusement. Pretty disgusting, really. Poorly run by management. I've been there in the past for UFC events where they've failed to have it on the correct channel to watch the event, then when you ask them to turn it to the correct channel to watch the event that they advertised, they get their noses out of joint. The rodeo's the final straw. Torturing animals is never okay. This place sucks.

Was told we had to book an extra seat because we had a pram, this would be ok but the man was pretty blunt and not happy. some meals were great but the thai beef salad had a lot of chewy beef

We're talking about the hotel side here not the accommodation side as I don't think tha hotel side wants reviews.
We just paid $20 a bowl for what really was potato soup with 4 mussels in shells in it exceptionally advertised as seafood chowder. Every time we scooped up a spoonful of what we thought to be a white chunky fish it instead was a piece of chunky potato. Very disappointing.
Their chefs need to read the advertising board at the door to see the key ingredients and potato is not mentioned as the key ingredient.

Yes we went for an early seating of five thirty and they seated anybody who came at this time in a cluster at tables next to each other instead of alternating them. So needless to say we sat down at five thirty and out by six o three. Our contact number is on our reservation from this evening.

Came to a concert here. Ordinarily, I wear earplugs to protect my hearing, but forgot them. The staff member who I spoke to (Troy), went above and beyond the find me a pair. The level of service he provided was fantastic - was very impressed.

Food was over priced and very ordinary. Trying to be something there not. The dress code after 10pm is very discriminating. Its only the guys who cant wear shorts. The girls are ok. I know i was kicked out for my dress shorts because the security girl on the door warned me at 9.55pm as i entered. We called for manager he shoeed us the dress code on the wall when it did not say men only. So i asked if he was going to kick the ladies in shorts out and he didnt reply. Most of the securityare pretty good apart from a few. I will never return there again.

Awful definitely one of the worst places i have ever been. The food is horrible and overpriced, the drinks are an absolute rip off, the security are pigs, no public transport and it is very hard to get a cab. Terrible place to hold concerts. Will not be going here again.

A great pub with a good auditorium behind it. The pub is modern, well stocked and with many places to sit (garden, bars, quieter areas etc.)

The venue is good for rock acts (I've seen five or more here) as the sound is typically tight and nicely audible from all areas.

The drink prices in the venue are incredibly high, with mid strength beer at $8 per can and full strength at $9 - there was only one choice of each, too.

While the pub and venue are great, the location is not. 25 minutes from the city (at night) is a problem at midnight when the venue has closed, and travel options back to the city are as expensive as the beers.

This is a well-run establishment thoughtfully set up to be family-friendly with a fantastic play area for kids and large, well designed spaces. The huge tree at the front covered with twinkling lights is a sight to behold after dark! We enjoyed our function here, although my pizza was a little bland.

Dining at hotel today with interstate guests. 2 meals were great, and 2 meals of fish were terrible. The fish was soaked in oil , on batter and oozing from the fish. The fish was probably the worst we have encountered. May have happened as they were very busy. Heads up, stay away from the fried fish.

I went to a 50th birthday in the beer garden which had a very relaxed feel. However at certain point, anyone with shorts on were evicted.... including the 85 yr old father of the birthday girl! Completely broke the party up and brought it to a premature end. A seemingly ridiculous rule in a casual setting.

Went to work do, casual dress, not dressed for the hotel turning into a night club at 10.00pm. Was informed by security that I may be asked to leave at 10.00 but I wasn't. Excellent night thanks

This is a nice venue with bar and restaurant. There is also a function facility downstairs.
The venue is clean and well presented. The staff are friendly and attentive.
The most obvious negative is the parking and access to and from. Unfortunately there is only limited parking spaces for a relatively small number of vehicles. The location of the venue suffers due to only one access point onto a busy road.

Will definitely be back.

Will definitely be back.
We all ordered entrees as well as mains and we were all very happy.
We also found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

Check in was at 2pm, had to wait over an hour before the room was ready, there was no update on the room and I had to walk to the desk to ask about the status on the room to which the reply was oh yeah the rooms ready now . Very disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism.

It's huge! Hahaha. Haven't seen the whole place so much it's big. Went last night to see the Original Wailers , Sunny Coast Rude Boys were doing the first act and it was superbe!! Great venue, the sound sounds amazing, the staff is friendly, there is an outdoor bit where people can smoke and still follow the gig (don't find many places like that nowadays...). There is plenty of car parks around. It's wheelchair friendly!

Great food. But it would be nice to have U guys update it wine list . Can U also put a selection of foods that are entree size. Nachos could feed an army. I noticed alot of ladies leaving alot of food on their plates.its just abit of a waisted when U don't eat alot

If you are disabled do not go to one of the music gigs. I went to see Kasabian and was put in a chair at the back of the room next to the bar where a couple of people dropped their drink over my legs. I couldnt see anything above all the bodies in front of me.

I have a disability and wear a cast and need to be seated. I rang a few days a head of time to let them know. They said they had a place for me,everything would be fine.

When i told the manager he was flippant and rude and when i told him i couldnt see anything he replied "what am i supposed to do about it".I asked him what facilities he usually uses for people with disabilities he said that this was it and no one else had complained. He had attitude with me from the very beginning.I am in my fifties and normally very polite but i have never been quite so enraged with this mans attitude towards me and people with disabilities.

I didnt get to see kasabian but their music was amazing. I paid the same as everyone else i should have been seated where i could see them.

Great place, you will not be disappointed. Areas to improve:
-There is no entry sign to the restaurant/bistro but there is for gaming and beer garden??
-some staff need an attitude adjustment, especially behind the bar on sunday 7th in the restaurant.
-images of scantily clad women is an interesting juxtaposition to Brisbane's best kids play ground on the adjacent monitors.

Bar service was terrible. There was another couple that were being served when I approached the bar. There was no one else at the bar. There was 1 bartender just standing there watching tv and another 2 standing not far away chatting to each other probably not about work due to the amount of laughter. Not impressed at all.

Location is a bit out of the way as it's past Chermside, but if you have personal transportation it's not too bad. Parking can get pretty hectic however there are several car parks for the hotel. Ballroom bar is good and moved pretty quickly. 2 for 1 drinks after the show was also good!
