The food was really delicious with very generous serving sizes (a bit too big for all of us.) and service was pretty quick too. It will improve dramatically once the kids playground has been built too.
Thanks EH

Not impressed with the food. A little overpriced. Staff seem to be highschool students in uniforms. I know this is the case a lot of the time, but you normally don't notice. Salad rocket and bean leaves for the kids meal, fine for adult taste buds, but baby spinach would have been a better choice. Overall nothing was terrific and nothing was terrible. Won't be back.

If you re thinking of going to the Eatons Hill Hot...

If you re thinking of going to the Eatons Hill Hotel for drinks/dinner on a Friday or Saturday night, don t bother. It s full of drunk abusive 18yr olds which the security/staff do nothing about.
Not sure how you can stay in the premises while throwing glasses across the floor, spewing in the gardens, abusing others, etc...meanwhile security are a no-show, glassies keep collecting their empties off the floor and bar staff still selling them booze.

So when this group of abusive drunks turns on us, my friends wife searched the whole place for security and finally finds all of them out in the car park. Meanwhile we have to calmly diffuse the situation. Security finally arrives and they kick all of them out - good work.....Then soon after we were told as per our policy when there s an altercation, we have to remove your group from the venue as well and treated as we were the ones in the wrong.

So I d like to ask your so-called manager BEN SMITH what we should ve done differently? What message does this send now? Maybe next time people shouldn t try and calm the situation down because you get kicked out for doing that, maybe people should start swinging fists and defending themselves? You re only getting kicked out anyway right? And why were these drunks allowed to stay in your venue for so long?

I ve been coming to Eatons Hill since day dot back in 2011 and never received such appalling service, the staff are running this place into the ground. Sort it out owners. Looking forward to your response on this matter.

Beer lines are often unclean leading to sour favours in most tap beers. Glasses with the dreaded lipstick and dried orange juice pulp seems to be the norm. Food is overpriced, tasteless and uninspiring.

Nice atmosphere, nice food, huge screen and lots of screens for sporting events, restaurant serves nice food and the view of flora and fauna in the distance along with the giant Moreton bay figs surrounding the building make for a pleasant experience

Headed to the hotel after the Holy Green festival ...

Headed to the hotel after the Holy Green festival along with hundreds of other attendees. I was absolutely disgusted with how staff treated hundreds of potential willing customers. Men were refused entry for wearing shorts while women wearing next to nothing were allowed in. The response from the manager was the most disturbing aspect of the situation as he attempted to justify the discrepancies between the male and female dress code by saying it s for the same reason women are paid less than men .

We questioned whether our male friend would gain entry if he identifies as a female and the manager responded with he s not wearing female clothing . I am completely shocked at the sexist behaviour that I witnessed last night and I m not sure if Eatons Hill Hotel is aware that we are living in 2020 not the 1800s.

Even if they do feel it completely necessary for a dress code to be in place, perhaps there should be some understanding when there is a festival being held by the venue.

I hope Eatons Hill Hotel are satisfied with losing a huge amount of business and in hindsight I am glad that none of my money went towards running this establishment.

This is a huge venue that provide good quality live and well known bands, together with beer festivals, rodeo events and much more.

It has a large restaurant - order the food at the Till and then the food is served to the table. If you are just after a beer and pizza - these again can be ordered at the till - and the food is served in the bar area which is much less formal.

There are a large number of different bars - which open at different times of the day/ evening.

It can get really busy- it s a popular place.

Good car parking. - but don t park in the adjacent shopping center -especially on evenings when events are on. It s a magnet for Uber and taxis alike.

A great place all round.

One of the best venues outside of the inner city. This place has everything - a massive beer garden, an excellent restaurant, and a live music venue the envy of most. I actually couldn't believe some of the massive headline acts this place attracted; now, I'm just glad I live close by.

I've been to a few events here, and dancing a few times. Drinks are expensive, but definitely good, and I like the feel of it. I didn't love the shows - sound was blah and feedback was crappy on the mic. Also, was the lead singer from Smash Mouth COMPLETELY stoned? The opener, Area 7, were so much better.

Really great hotel. Staff were amazing. Very attentive, welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Right next to a supermarket, a couple of cafes, massage and hair salon, liquor store and restaurant. Plenty of parking and very easy to access.
Hotel facilities were fantastic. The pool and gym are great and there is a guest laundry. Room was really lovely, only complaint was that it was quite dusty. Would also love to see more veg options on the menu. On a side note, they do host rodeos there. So anyone sensitive to animal rights might want to check the timing of their stay against current events. But otherwise, would highly recommend!

Dined here recently as a Coeliac and what can I say... IT WAS AMAZING! I will certainly be returning again. The portion sizes are big and plenty of staff on the floor if you ever need any assistance. The atmosphere in this place is amazing. If you haven't already gone I highly recommend you do yourself a favour and go!!

I came here with a group of friends for a night out. There was plenty of places to go depending on whether we wanted to just relax and listen to some music in the beer garden or have a bit of a dance inside. It was nice to have that variety.

Drinks weren't too pricey which is also a bonus.
The food was okay, not amazing but i wasn't expecting a lot from a pub/tavern.

Attempted to attend the Eatons Hill Hotel after the Holy Green Festival on the 25/01/20.

The Eatons Hill hotel dress standard states that shorts for males are not permitted after 8pm.

The Holy Green Festival was attended by approx 5,000-10,000 people, many of whom were keen to move to the hotel after the end of the event.

Due to the hot weather conditions, most males were wearing shorts. As a result, most men were refused entry to the hotel.

I understand dress standards, but common sense dictates that the Eatons Hill Hotel would permit entry to males in shorts ON THIS ONE OCCASION.

Hundreds of men in shorts and in groups were refused entry with their male and female friends in pants permitted entry which created a lot of tension and arguments, which was not helped by the argumentative security staff and manager.

The Eatons Hill Hotel handled the situation terribly and left hundreds of patrons disgusted.

TERRIBLE SERVICE - DESERVES LESS THAN ONE STAR.

Stayed here a few times. It is very convenient when a concert is on but it's a little pricey for the room you get. The pub is great with good food. I wanted to stay again in May for a show that is on but they have put the accommodation prices up by 50% just for that one night that it's on, the rest of the month is normal price. They have never done that for previous shows we have seen there (at least 3). Supply and demand I guess but 50% is bloody steep. It's pushed it over the limit I will pay for a shoebox room. Staying down the road instead for 1/3 of the price. Even getting Uber/taxis there puts me well in front.

Went to the EH for lunch and had a steak burger that was very tasty. Only criticism is that there is no specific lunch menu which prices all meals at the higher rate. Most meals were well above $30 which is very costly for lunch.

Hi Ashwin,

Hi Ashwin,

We would like to thank you for receiving the ORCA Participants on Tuesday the 10th of November and spending some time with us explaining about the inner working of hotels and the skills that are required to work there. The knowledge that you shared with us was inspiring and helped us to understand what it means to possess good customer service.

The way that you conducted yourself when doing the tour with us was exceptional and you also demonstrated clear knowledge of the subject and we would easily recommend the Eatons Hill Hotel to anyone and would gladly stay a night ourselves.

The ORCA Participants (Albany Creek Uniting Church).

Friendly staff, great decor, decent portion sizes and awesome playground. Unfortunately my parmy was over cooked and lacking sauce. My wife wasn't the biggest fan of her pizza either, once again missing the sauce.

It's a shame because we have been here before during Christmas a few years back and the food was great.

Unfortunately the pulled pork roll was stale and by the taste of the coleslaw it was old, added way too much vinegar in it. A lot of the areas are in need of major maintenance, it boggles me on such a great complex it's not kept in good shape. Overall great place, but complacency is evident.

We didn't eat at the pub but played in the gaming room. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Complementary drinks and snacks. Wide spaces and comfortable chairs. One of the best venues that we have visited in a very long time. The carpark has been expanded.
