Unprofessional and rude. I went to view a property I was considering renting and the experience was horrible. The individual who showed me was late and unhelpful. They knew NO information about the property and when I asked them to follow up on certain questions, i.e. the EPC, they pretended to go on their phone, acted like I never asked them a question. It was incredibly awkward and I was made to feel extremely small. As a young student looking for their first rented property, I would not reccomend them.

I have rented a flat with this agency and the experience I had was awful. Before leaving the flat I paid a cleaning company for the find cleaning. The flat was better than I found it.


If you need a flat do not rent it from them .They will charge you extra fees just to earn more on you.

Rented a flat from these thieves and they refused to give me my deposit back even when my tenancy ended. I had to through an adjudication process to get some of my deposit back as they lied that I damaged the sofa cover and left the gas meter with debts. This estate agent is an extremely unprofessional and rude company , avoid them unless you don t want to get your deposit back. Infact they should not be in business as none of the staff knows their job and if u have issues in your flat , they will never help to resolve it . HORRIBLE MONSTERS!!!

As a property owner, I would never use this firm, based on experience of having to deal with them regarding tenants who are in the building where my property is.

We have had to endure these neighbours for quite some time, noise, mess, uncleanliness, not keeping the garden and vandalism. When I approached the landlord, they asked that I take pictures and send an email with the list of complaints. Wait a minute I thought to myself, they are asking me to do their job; they were unwilling to look into the complaint unless I took the pictures and sent them to them.

Ok so email written neighbours contacts given, photographic evidence attached. Did they call me back, email me advise what they were going to do? In a word no. I had to chase them they said they would have to forward email complaint onto the owner of the flat and see how he wanted to proceed. I have never heard the likes of it in my life, you are the agent taking your 10% for renting, and you are not acting. I would not let them look after my shoelace, never mind a property.

After calling yet again and a very nervous receptionist putting me on hold for too long a period, to come back on the call and lie for her masters saying they were all in a meeting. I advised the receptionist that it took too long to respond and that I knew they were lying.

We have not had this issue resolved, in any way shape or form, the grass/weeds in their garden are about as tall as I am and the weeds have flowered and the seeds blown into everyone else s garden. The owner could not care less as long as his money comes in. I thought I was doing him a favour by going through the property company to let him know what was going on in his property. Now I truly hope they trash the place.

To cap it off they flooded the downstairs neighbour, and the property management company accept no liability, they have not been to the property, yes, once again, I have had to take photos and send an email to them as my downstairs neighbour does not use email. I asked them to call her directly, a rather simple request, as this has nothing to do with me. And no in blatant breach of GDPR they email me back and expect me to pass on her private business to her. And surprise, surprise, they accept no liability and she has been told to get her landlord to fix it or claim from her insurance.

Easthaven Property Management, pffthaha you could not look after a Wendy house. Absolute joke.

Unprofessional and unorganised. Trying to get things replaced or fixed is a nightmare. Total lack of communication between themselves and owners of properties. Had an experience where they had given someone access to my property without notifying me first. Will be avoiding them when I rent in the future

Staff unprofessional and rude, does not care about...

Staff unprofessional and rude, does not care about the tenants' needs and wellbeing. I regret that I have rented a flat through this agency and will not make the same mistake again. Last time when I needed to urgently deal with some problem and went to their office I had to stand there for a moment before any of the three employees in the room looked at me. No one said hello, finally when I took a chair and sat in front of one of them she 'kindly' put her phone away and looked at me. The whole time I felt like I wasn't welcome there, the worst experience I had with any agency so far.

We have recently rented a property through Easthaven. We have had nothing but great service from them throughout. They have replied promptly to all our emails and have made the process very smooth and easy. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Don't even consider renting properties with them. Disrespectful, unhelpful and makes you feel really small. Several times I asked for help, never received any. Even after end of tenancy the nightmare continued..

Stayed at a property managed by Easthaven for 2 years. Very polite and pleasant to deal with. Quick to respond to emails and are always keen to help. Can be some delays with getting things fixed on property but it is to be expected of a place that manages a lot of properties. Slight communication breakdown with property owners at times, but can t fault the staff there as they were always understanding and helpful to me throughout my tenancy.

i really do not understand why this agency is rate...

i really do not understand why this agency is rated so low. They are quick to arrange a new tenancy, do not ask for thousands of sensitive documents and do not shy away from returning a deposit. In fact, they are by far the best agency I've dealt with in Aberdeen. I've rented two flats with them, background checks were very quick and painless and both times I got my full deposit back.

The agencies I used before them were full of cheating scumbags who either tried to manipulate me into signing a terribly disadvantageous contract or outright plundered my deposit, charging several hours of professional cleaning for three specks of dust on the light switch. And yet all those agencies are rated higher than this one. Manipulated ratings? I see no other explanation.

We found ourselves needing to move a very long way to Aberdeen with a very small window of oppertunity to make it happen. We were totally unfarmiliar with the city and very stressed and rushed but the agents at Easthaven personally showed us around several properties despite being very busy themselves and helped us quickly get settled in to our new property. The property its self is lovely and we have no complaints about our move so far!

Honestly such a horrendous experience. I was only with them for one month as my landlady changed to them in the final month of our contract. Duncan in particular was rude and unprofessional. During a visit to the house and bearing in mind he hadn't met us he looked down on us, spoke to us like we were complete idiots and made us feel uncomfortable in our own home. He was arrogant and gave the impression he thought he was better than us because we were renting accommodation. He had no respect for our property or our furniture and stormed around the house as though to make it clear it wasn't out house. When I visited the office on two occasions all staff were unwelcoming and I felt like I had walked into the middle of someone's house uninvited by the response they gave. I stood there for a good while before anyone even said hello to me. They are a joke of a company who make people feel so small. I would avoid using them like the plague!!! Can't stress enough how awful they made us feel.

I leased a property from Easthaven for over a year and I do not have any faults with their service. Any issues were dealt with promptly in a very friendly way, correspondence was always clear & professional, I would recommend their service and would look to use them as first choice.

Absolute nightmare of a company to deal with. I did one small job for them and never got paid. Unanswered emails and phone calls. Fobbed off continuously. Contractors beware DONT do business with this bunch of chancers.

Accepted money for a deposite, radio silence for 4 days then said the flat wasnt available and tried to make me take another flat. Had to argue to get my deposite back. No appology or gesture offerd for the time waste. Horrible company wouldnt give the time of day again.

They are horrible! Dont go and rent a house there. I wanted to view a property and I had an appointment with them. I am omw to go and view the property and called them. Ducan, the one who made the appointment with me, told me that the property is given away. That is not a problem but he never called me or send an email saying that the property was given away! And when I asked him why he did what he did I got an attitude, like I am the one wrong here! They are unprofessional and rude. DONT RENT A HOUSE THERE!

I have never come across a letting agency so incompetent and unprofessional as Easthaven. I had read bad reviews before renting from them but I thought "how bad can they be?". I was moving from Glasgow to Aberdeen, and the flat was a perfect location so we took it without a viewing/meeting Easthaven - big mistake...

Secured the flat in May with a deposit, move-in August. Emailed them early June to get their bank details so I could send them the rest of the money. Was told their policy was they would ask for it 2 weeks before the moving-in date - strange but whatever. 2 weeks till move-in, I email them again because I've not heard from them, they reply they're busy and will send it asap. A week before move-in and the same thing happens. Only received their details a few days before move-in, I send the money instantly. When we made the trip from Glasgow to Aberdeen and go to collect the keys from them directly, they refused to hand them over saying the money had not appeared in their bank yet. I had to pay them a month's worth in cash there and then before getting the keys...

Flat was filthy. To their credit, yes the carpets were new. Kitchen covered in grease everywhere, badly stained mattresses (to which they only offered mattress protectors as a remedy), bathroom ceiling thick in mould, various levels of mould & damp in other rooms. The inventory they supplied was a joke, had to add SO MANY obvious faults to it.

10 months into being into the flat, I get an email on the 7th saying I've not paid this month's rent & asking when I would. When I stated it has always been paid on the 8th of every month, I was told that rent gets paid on the 1st. I apologised and said no one had told me they had changed the rent payment date and was gonna to send the money asap, but they replied "apologies, your rent does get paid on the 8th" ??????

I have records of all of this on email as I refused to ever call them (so I had written evidence). If you find yourself renting from them, I suggest you do the same.

If you're a tenant, I wouldn't recommend this company. We've never received a copy of agreement we signed with them which resulted in a financial loss. Nobody told us that, even though we signed agreement at their office, they are not managing the property we rented and therefore when our boiler broke up in winter, there was no one to help us. To top everything else off, they provided photos of wrong gas and electricity meters at the beginning of our cooperation!

I rented a property through Easthaven for a little...

I rented a property through Easthaven for a little over a year and it was an overall positive experience. I moved to Aberdeen from overseas and was able to complete all the paperwork remotely allowing me to collect my keys when I arrived in Aberdeen.
There were some initial problems with the flat, due in part to it being unoccupied for a while before I moved in. These were resolved promptly.
During my tenancy, when issues occurred they were usually dealt with promptly, and luckily none of them were serious.
The moving out procedure was simple and straightforward enough.
The flat itself was ok, in a very good location, being within walking distance of the city centre. The building was quite tired and in need of some TLC, but this is more down to the people who own/rent the flats.

They made my move into the UK so smooth and straight forward. Within 4 days of arriving in Aberdeen I had the keys to a new flat. Very prompt in replying to emails and fixing things when needed. My experience with Easthaven was very positive!

Have never in my life wrote a bad review but I fee...

Have never in my life wrote a bad review but I feel my experience with this company warranted it.

I got an email to confirm a booking. I confirmed the booking but asked if the property was dog friendly. I made it clear I do not have a dog but would like the opportunity to get a wee pupper sometime in the future. I ended the email saying that even if it was not pet friendly I would still like to view the property.

They emailed back to say it was no pets and would I still like to view. I responded promptly saying that yes I would like to view it still.

Fast forward to today, I get to the property to view it. And no one is there, I call the office and they say they did not book the viewing because I enquired about the pets rule.

This cost me a whole afternoon, a 90 mile round trip and as a self employed worker a whole afternoons loss of earnings.

The person on the phone offered no suggestions of how to fix this situation stating only "but the property is no pets", did not offer to rearrange a viewing and certainly did not offer any sort of apology or understanding of the inconvenience caused going as far as to deny that they received my emails.

In all, if I could rate this company 0/5 I most certainly would.

More than happy to change my review if I happen to have a positive experience with this company but I would not be seeking out the opportunity to request their services again.

Absolutely unprofessional. Called on May 8th for a return deposit request and was told it would be a couple of days. It's now June 5th and I've been told it will be a couple of weeks. Been given the run around by the receptionist who clearly doesn't know what she's talking about. And when I spoke with a gentleman on one occasion he told me that all the returns had been dealt with. Not sure what's going on but I'll definitely be filing a report.

ALL LANDLORDS BEWARE ! Tried to organise viewing for a beautiful property I found. was treated very unprofessionaly. The company is not accommodating at all, they said they only book their viewings 10-4 Monday until Friday, which is not ideal for someone who is working full time. Thought I could nip out from work at lunch time to do the viewing but rude lady on the phone said that 1 and 1.30 or even at 2? They were closed for their lunch break and they could not accommodate me at all over the next few weeks. I would not choose this company to take care of my property.
