Fantastic location and food to match. Visited on a stormy day and the views of the sea were amazing
Excellent food at a good price. Clean dinning area. Staff polite and helpful. We shared the mini seafood platter plus chips between two. Perfect.
The hot chocolate was tepid and the service got the order wrong, twice. The inside looks like it's a pop-up Santa's grotto, so that's good if you're into that sort of thing but I don't see how it can be a year round look. The toilets were questionably clean and the communal sinks had sticky taps. I can't comment on the food, but it looked good.
We like this place and have had a number of very enjoyable lunches there. Great spot for food and people watching.
Party of 7 for an evening meal.
Very slow service from the Kitchen with 2 burgers taking over 1/2/an hour.
When the burgers did arrive they were raw in the center & their replacements took about 40 minutes to come.
Food is average and overpriced.
Will not be going back.
Good food and light bites. Coffee is better than average and service is swift.
Very very disappointing! Went for breakfast by the sea traveling about 35 miles!! We went when it first opened a few times and really liked it. What a change. Dirty. Staff out the back having their fags. Slow service. Toast delivered with butter straight out of the fridge so could not spread, returned it and the next lot delivered with hard butter again!!! Asked for brown bread for husband's order - it came on white. Expensive too for what we had. Restaurant being used to interview for new staff too. Not very confidential!!! Would we go again? Definitely not
Lovely to be able to sit literally on the beach to eat lovely fresh fish and chips.
Really slow to process the take away orders, they only had one member of staff on the counter trying to do everything. The order system is a bit chaotic as well, you don't get a number or anything so you end up just hovering and hoping to make eye contact with someone. It is also very overpriced.
Very nice evening meal with a glass of wine. Would highly recommend this place well worth a visit
We visited the cafe last Sunday and were disappointed in the size one of the meals.
It was very nice and the good was lovely we will visit again that's for sure
Great little cafe, with very good food and service. Highly recommended.
Nice little place prices are good service a bit slow but it's not to bad
The food and staff were amazing. When requested about gluten-free staff could quote exactly what was good and what could not be acceptable. Thank you for a fantastic meal.
Great seafront location. Tasty food, friendly service and reasonable prices. All good.
Good hot chocolate and excellent well organized social distance takeaway. On the beach also noticed they do full english b.fast for really reasonable price.will definitely give that a try
Absolutely love it here! The food is well priced, excellent quality and the staff are friendly. Will definitely be back in the future
Uniquely designed building with great views. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was OK but very overpriced for the location. Worth going for coffee and the experience.
Lovely people and great good. Thank you Luke for you hosting skills
Great view of the sea very relaxing and good food thank you to all the staff
Great place to eat.
We turned up late one evening & they couldn't accommodate us, so recommended another place to eat, rung & reserved a table for us.
Food at the EBC is a simple, mostly seafood menu, with some meat & veg options. It's great.
Interior is as interesting as the outside.
Good coffee, delicious flapjack, excellent friendly service.
Great location and friendly staff, but felt the food was overpriced for what it was
Food and service received here should initiate a visit from a Mr. Gordon Ramsey. I've never seen beige chicken coloured scrambled eggs before.
Table service, seats inside and out, very clean, lovely loos.
Only stopped in for a coffee, the inside is looking slightly run down now. Staff always happy and friendly, one criticism though is the wooden chairs when moved across the floor. Due to the size and shape of the restaurant the noise seems to echo.
An amazing cafe facing the beach. Great food. Would definitely recommend.
I will say nothing new. The building is enticing from the rear, but ugly from the sea battered front. The interior is marginally better, but it does seem like a bit of an afterthought. This said, there is an attempt to offer better quality food and drinks, which are a bit hit and miss. Drinks were luke warm; service was average, but the manager was attentive.
Friendly and good value food with daily specials. An unusual architect designed building right next to the promenade by the beach. If the vegan main had been available would have 5*.
Staff are amazing, the food is great and the view is stunning. Would highly recommend
This cafe severs the best bacon baps EVER . as well as severing other amazing food through the day .
Nice place to have an ice cream or cold drink while having a day out at the beach.
A cafe with good food and location but charging restuarant prices.
The starter and main courses were very nice. However, the overpriced desserts let it down badly. I still can't get the taste of badly burnt sticky toffee pudding out of my mouth! It has ruined an otherwise good meal!
Ordered one bacon, sausage & egg sandwich and it was enough for the whole group. Excellent service. Clear view of the sea.
Had a lovely experience having a meal there today food was really nice and the staff are so friendly and helpful plus a beautiful views of the sea.
Very windy day, cafe is right on the sea front.Specialises in sea food and myself and friends agreed that although the restaurant was packed at lunch time, (I think rebooking is important) we were served well and thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
Long beach with sand and stone. And a big Amusements Park.
Amazing food!! We had the Halloumi burger, Ham and Cheese Toasty and some chips. Very reasonable price, taste and presentation were excellent. Didn't have to wait too long either for the food to be cooked! Definitely will go back!
I love the food, location, and friendly staff. I can t get there often enough.
Thought this was a good place for a quick lunch. Menu had a decent enough selection. I didn't see the specials board, however.
Has to get 5 stars as we held outlet wedding reception there in 2011 and it was fantastic.
Very Expensive, ordered toast too and two miniature slices came out. Not worth it.
Was very nice but be aware they don't serve hot food after 3pm we weren't told this when we book
Lovely beachside cafe with sea views... Minimal but varied daytime menu serving quality food... converting to cosy restaurant in the evening...
Friendly service. Varied menu. Tasty food which was good value.
Clean tidy beach cafe on the front by the sea. I would visit again however we just popped in for coffee so I am unable to comment on meal quality.
Superb food in a beautiful and unique building on the seafront. Excellent service and overall vibe.
Very disappointed after seeing it on the TV. Chaos, serving count very messy took ages to take our order, although plenty of staff. The tables needed to be cleaned. Hope they get their act together and spend less time chatting to each other.
Super nice place and very tasty, creative food and desserts. They are worth their price - it was an absolute treat
A great place for a meal and a drink after a walk along the promenade admiring the many boats along the quay.
I genuinely believe that the good is over priced esp the squid starter. Whilst good looks good and presented well overall it lacks flavour. I believe that this is the best Littlehampton has to offer.
Nice place to have a brunch. I had the breakfast bap, my partner had the eggs benedict, both were tasty, as was the coffee.
Allow potentially over an hour for a visit as service was slightly slow possibly due to COVID procedures. COVID procedures were reasonable, probably best to book in advance.
Restaurant on promenade & designed by Thomas Heatherwick ( 2012 Olympic's designer). Specialises in fine local seafood dishes which are delicious.
1 star for the view.Breakfast not good, toast very hard and butter so hard unable to spread.Tea cold
Service with social distance and a smile lovely bit of fish and chips delicious good old fashioned food with seafood and sticks of rock miles of smiles here.
Basically posh fish and chips. Nice inside, nice presentation of the food, but nothing special.
Over priced food, asked to leave the table as they had overbooked. Amateur treatment of paying customers.
