Local food. Interesting architecture. You need to pay for the car park. Been going here since it opened 11 years ago! Coffee is good.

Wonderful little restaurant right on the beach promenade in Littlehampton. Food was delicious staff were friendly too!

After high expectations was rather disappointed...
Called in for breakfast today. Pretty awful orange juice, but sadly that's true in most places and you just accept it.
But had specifically asked for soft eggs (ie with yolk that runs, rather than comes as a solid yellow blob).
Breakfast came with solid yellow blob yolks. Sent back to kitchen and got exactly the same back. Decided then to give up. I guess the kids that were running the place don''t get it. They didn't ask if we'd enjoyed our food although interestingly when paying by credit card the first screen asks for gratuity. They didn't get one.
Gave it two stars as it's a nice location....

Conveniently situated by the East Beach car park, it provides most of the food needs a family with young kids have for a day on the beach.

Great location by the sea. Friendly, attentive staff. Good food. Quite expensive. Would definitely return.

Not the cafe itself but the kiosk. Had run out of all but one flavour of ice cream, no cones, no tubs and no spoons. Ended up serving my kids ice cream from a coffee cup using a chip fork. Equally useless the year before.

Unfortunately we're waiting 10/15 minutes at the start to be asked for our drinks orders (without a drinks menu) subsequently then enjoyed nice food. Decent sized portions and good choices. However at the end of our meal we asked for the bill and are still waiting to pay 25mins later with no acknowledgement of the table at all! Also placed in the corner by the loos. Funny moment of the night was when there was a skateboarder on the roof.

Popped in for spot of lunch and wish I hadn't bothered. Ordered only thing off menu which I thought was a reasonable price and it was disgusting, it was also accompanied by some warm, limp salad. Ordered sausage and chips for my More

We love coming here. Staff are always friendly, fish is always really fresh, food is excellent! Definitely recommend.

Like the fact thev'e got tables and chairs on the beach. Chips a bit dry for my liking.

Really good seafood in a lovely quirky beach setting.

Service was average .milkshake was all syrup and little taste.

Amazingly high quality food and fabulous service.

Overpriced average food. Won't hurry back. Only plus point is the sea view, but not worth the premium price. Better off getting a bag of chips and walking along the promenade.

The staff couldn't have been better & the cafe has a lovely atmosphere. Vegan options available. The risotto didn't have quite enough flavour for my taste, but was beautifully cooked & full of fresh ingredients

Great food, good ambience and value for money. You get a great view of the sea too. Various specialised nights going on during the week. Worth checking out.

An amazing building, we only had a coffee but looking around lots of folk had a full English Breakfast that looked very nice.

I sort of liked it but I didn't really enjoy the food

Great, freshly cooked fish and chips,band good value for the seafront. But ditch the snotty notices ("This table is not a bin") and perhaps provide a more obvious bin for folk who've finished their takeaway.

Sea front restaurant, shaped like a cave. Excellent freshly prepared fish and home made soup, lovely puds, strongly recommended.

Lovely location and view. Just had cream tea which was ok but supplied with basic shop scones so a little disappointed

Friendly staff, food well priced for location.

Table organisation means that only half the party gets the view for almost all tables. Given that this is literally the only reason to go, at least half the group is likely to feel seriously left out as the food is average. My suggestion would be to have the paying party see the view as the prices are unlikely to generate any joy either.

That said, the building is worth a peek and the staff are smiley.

Overall, it might be worth a stop if you want something other than fish and chips for supper and certainly not worth a trip from out of town.

Film night with a meal - sausage & mash - nothing special food wise but very nice; A cafe meal but a good one. A bit miffed at the drinks prices - restaurant level for a very ordinary Rioja and G&Ts made a reasonable meal expensive.
Not many drinks taken then and not many customers either! Wonder why?

Full English breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning with a wide-screen view of the sea. Perfect.

Looks like poo wouldnt even let me use there toilet unless i had brought something think thats rude and stuck up maybe if they lowered their prices i would! The beach is ment to be a friendly place grrr some people!

Outstanding Heatherwick-designed building with friendly staff let down by underwhelming interior and very average menu.

Food is absolutely beautiful. Staff is super friendly. And you can't beat the view.

It was a real find. Quality of the food was superb.

Food was good , service was good but the chipped crockery let it down .

This is a really nice place to visit. They do meals or just cakes or toasted tea cakes, (but no marmite ) worth a visit before or after your walk or no walk. They have live music which looks good.

Excellent dining experience, at the top end of Littlehampton eateries, obviously that is also reflected in the price. Outdoor take away service in the summer for a lot less.

Not much improvement since we last went, the cafe is very handy but really need to be given a revamp.

Not great to be honest, food is good and staff are polite and helpful but not a great menu unless you like fish and also fairly expensive.

Unfortunately, they were unable to accommodate us today, which only goes to show how popular they are.

One of the best iced mochas I have ever had! Excellent application of social distancing measures. Plus the building looks like something Jabba the Hutt would live in. Five stars!

The only salad was Caesar salad, no anchovies, the eggs were hard, the croutons were advertised as with garlic ...Not....way too much parmasan and very little dressing. The fish and chips were good but I would not go back, service slow and very stuffy.

Good food, fair prices, honest portions. Great place to rest and fill up. Clean and cosy with customer's toilet
