Do not buy any chains from EarhGems. They break and when confronted the management refuses to accept responsibility.

Great place if your looking for big or small stones. They also have a great selection of incense and beads.

Visited this store for the first time today. Huge selection! It's fun to window shop in there. Enjoyed very much our visit. I came away with a couple of bracelets and a pendant. I am very happy with my purchases. There are lots of knowledgeable staff around to help you. They are very approachable. Some are reserved, but not unfriendly. I will return, for sure.

I love earth gems. I highly recommend you buy Robert Simmons book of stones and then go nuts! They have a very wide variety of gems and incense. You can ask the staff about any stone in the store and they will give you information on physical/metaphysical properties.

I have watched Hugo and Dante grow their crystal store since they were in the basement with a side entrance. Passion for crystals is the operative word. Knowing their sources is unquestionable, even to the point of calling Brazil on the spot to verify the authenticity of the product that I had doubts about. Of course prices have gone up. The demand for crystals is getting to be overwhelming worldwide, but I can whole-heartedly say that Earth Gems has always striven to be reasonable. Selection is fantastic. They have always bent over backwards to help and even go to lengths to explain how certain crystals are affected by industry considerations. Earth Gems is Destination Crystal!

YOU NEED A ROCK?? WHAT KIND OF ROCK??? Because let me tell you do they have rocks here. All sorts of stones, gems, and other earth objects. 10/10 would go again.

Most comprehensive selection I ve came across. The staff is amazing and super helpful. I use to shop in person at calgary, now I shop from Vancouver and just as easy, shipping is very reasonable.

Highly recommend if you are a gem lover.

Hugo, Danta and the whole team of positive souls within the walls of Earth Gems are amazing! They have everything and anything you are looking for. They have a great atmosphere for browsing the wall to wall Earth Gems. They also are very approachable to ask any questions, or opinions on a certain gem, the properties is has. Love this place! We have been coming here for years, great service and amazing crystals, incense choice, pendants etc

Last week, some friends and I did a huge order from here, as they are doing pickups only. We contacted them via text, and they were very responsive with pictures and information with a few days of requests from us. They organized a multi person order and tallied it. Products were high quality as normal and packaged well- each bag was labeled, and receipts attached to bags. I highly recommend this store! They are amazing and have so many choices! This is my favorite place

Best place to go for precious stones and crystals that I know of his selection and good prices.
My family and friends from out of town who are into that kind of stuff always want me to take them when they come to visit.

Amazing shop! If you are looking for a rare crystal, this is the place to go. Wonderful selection and friendly staff.

I had zero expectations about what this place would be like and when I went down the stairs I was amazed at all the rock and crystal selections not evening considering the bead selection on the other side. I was in crystal heaven! It s all fairly priced considering other crystal stores I ve been to and I love how you can even create your own bracelets if you desire to be that creative or choose from one of the pre-made ones on a different table. I can t wait to go back and get more goodies for my meditation space!

I have never been to Earth Gems or heard of it before a week ago ! I googled crystals and gemstones and it came up ! I was very happy and grateful for Dante he was very helpful and pleasant to deal with ! Curbside pick up was easy ! I paid over the phone with my credit card , there are other payment options also ! When I got home and opened my bags , there was a nice couple of Free added bonuses in there ! I texted Dante to tell him how much I appreciated my free extra crystals and incense !! I used to love this place, Used to... But ever since they invested into hiring people who have no understanding of what they are selling, and are rather there for a paycheck, it has gone down the hill. I recently shopped there to gather a few items as I'm leaving the province. I have known the two owners for years, so much that they genuinely great us whenever we come in. This time, they were busy and instead of the cordial service I generally get, I was constantly followed by the workers, so much that when my son trying on some rings, a worker crawled her way under the table "to gather supplies" and stayed there for at least five minutes before I notice she was just watching us. Once I told my husband what was happen and how uncomfortable I felt, another worker spoke to the lady in foreign language so I wouldn't understand what they were saying to each other. Since I no longer felt welcome, I just wanted to purchase my items and go. Even during payment period, the workers constantly spoke in their language right in front of us, which I find extremely rude! and once I asked for the student discount I was virtually ignored

I really, really, enjoyed the products and services the owners have to offer. They are two great and caring souls that truly showcases their passion for gems, I just wish that same reflection was mirrored to their employees.

I love this place. Being an extrasensory and a psychic, this place is very charging for me due to the high vibration energy of all the crystals and stones. It is a rarity to find such a place to escape from the chaos of the world. They have lots of selection here, plus the staff is friendly and they seem to really care about the well being of this planet and animals which is an absolute bonus in my books.

An out of this world selection and variety however the man who appeared to be the owner seemed very stressed and unhappy. He was not very nice to me . I was on a run and stopped in. I evidently did not have a mask so I asked if they had extra ones. He seemed very inconvenienced to go to the back to get me one and annoyed or possibly judging me. I realized I didn't have my debit card and asked if i could come back tomorrow morning to pick up the 4 items i wanted, a staff member was super friendly and warm and was going to allow until who i believe to be the owner or manager piped up to say no. I found the energy to be stale and not positive in there and think customer service could be improved but i do understand covid puts stress on everyone. I dont think i will go back as i felt very judged and unwelcomed, but i do recommend this place as far as selection and a couple staff members seem very friendly with good energy . I was able to take a photo of the things i intended on buying so I can still purchase them tomorrow but at a different shop. I realize masks are the new necessity and i should have had my card, but i had no intentions of shopping and hadnt seen that shop before. Not making someone feel guilty for asking for a mask, and appreciating people are human and putting 4 small items on hold for an evening goes a long way.

This is my favorite rock store. They have one of the best selection and prices around. They are also great with kids. My most recent purchase was over text messages with curbside pickup and again great service.

Affordable, superb selection of raw and common gems.
Downside: Staff are unapproachable... even when it's slow.

Went to the store today to get Moldavite and the price range is from $70-$520 so I asked the clerk why is this so expensive comparing to all the other stores in the city or even online. I asked the price per gram and they had no idea meanwhile every other store is charging $10-$12 a gram for Moldavite tbh this store is a rip off. Please check prices with other stores before you buy here.

great service knowledgeable staff good selection of rocks gems crystals and insents most prices are reasonable and not to expensive unless your buying something huge or a rare rock or gem the parking isnt great but thats not there fault unfortunately it is not very wheelchair accessible which is also not there fault but everything else is great there i recommend earth gems to friend and family and love going when i get a chance

I have been visiting this shop for approximately two years and I have recently gone back home to Ontario. I am heartbroken that I cannot visit anymore! The energy in this shop, the staff, the customers and the overwhelming feeling you get when you walk through the door are things that you don't find very often.
Although the staircase is steep to get down to their shop inside, it is worth it. The staff are knowledgable and invested in what they do and their customers. I found so many wonderful little things at this shop and I will definitely be back as soon as I can.
They do have their dogs there (small little ones!) I would say not a great place for small children that like to grab things and not great for strollers. But no matter what budget you have, there are unique and beautiful gifts for any occasion!

I can spend hours browsing this place, I absolutely love going to this store. I never leave empty handed lol ! Whether it be a huge haul of crystals for work, a new something for myself, decoration for the home or a beautiful gift for my daughter. They really have everything ! The staff members are always so friendly and helpful. I m really glad Calgary has a local crystal store like this.

Earth Jems is a store catering to basic stones and some precious ones as well. The selection is vast. In terms of bead wear its affordable and great for those hobbyists. But my positive portion of the review will end at this point. I will give the store marks on the afforability scale for its beads to be fair.
The store passes itself off as an authentic
"rockhound" store as well. It isn't. I was seriously concerned with the amount of dyed or lab grown specimens that were not all identified on their info cards which is a pretty dubious practise. Some of the chemicals used to produce these artificially grown crystals are exceptionally toxic as well and pose a potential health risk to unwary collectors. Be warned.

I really liked this store until I learned they are furtively Voice and Video recording their customers. I found this out when I spoke to the owner about a hostile staff member. He told me he'd shared the video and voice recording with everyone in the shop, including some friends and customers to get their opinion of my interaction with his sister. He then complained about anonymous google reviews. Considering the shops use of social media for product promotion, they don't seem to have problems with all the anonymous good reviews, yet get angry about bad ones. One star for the other owner who thanked me for my customer feedback and gave me a gift card. Pretty basic customer relations.

As a spiritualist and a huge fan of science, I adore this store!! They have both authentic and lab grown. So cool to see what the earth and human hands can do with minerals and chemical compositions! Always left in awe and wonder. If you want authentic, earthly stones, just ask the staff. They are more then willing and honest about the product they sell.

This place is amazing! It has great variety and no matter your budget there is something there for you. There is a vast selection of incense, crystal and amazing decor that is good for your space. The staff is super kind and helpful and it just feels good being there. Highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome. Best priced Himalayan Salt Lamps in the City and a million things to look at, to boot.

The selection of rocks and gems here is immense, good prices and warm staff.
