I used to love this place, Used to... But ever sin...

I used to love this place, Used to... But ever since they invested into hiring people who have no understanding of what they are selling, and are rather there for a paycheck, it has gone down the hill. I recently shopped there to gather a few items as I'm leaving the province. I have known the two owners for years, so much that they genuinely great us whenever we come in. This time, they were busy and instead of the cordial service I generally get, I was constantly followed by the workers, so much that when my son trying on some rings, a worker crawled her way under the table "to gather supplies" and stayed there for at least five minutes before I notice she was just watching us. Once I told my husband what was happen and how uncomfortable I felt, another worker spoke to the lady in foreign language so I wouldn't understand what they were saying to each other. Since I no longer felt welcome, I just wanted to purchase my items and go. Even during payment period, the workers constantly spoke in their language right in front of us, which I find extremely rude! and once I asked for the student discount I was virtually ignored

I really, really, enjoyed the products and services the owners have to offer. They are two great and caring souls that truly showcases their passion for gems, I just wish that same reflection was mirrored to their employees.
