Drury Inn & Suites-Horn Lake Review

Cold food, unfriendly bartender. Room very clean & comfortable.

We love staying here. Lots of restaurants around and it's a quick drive from downtown Memphis.

By far the best hotel I have EVER stayed at! Very close to all the shopping centers and restaurants. Plus you get 3 free drinks as well as snacks each night, need I say more?

Very nice and polite staff, clean facility, great location! I would definitely recommend going here and I would visit again.

This was not a typical Drury that we were used to. The hotel smelled, the s smelled, the food was not good and the staff was rude and unprofessional

Loved this hotel. The staff was amazing. The hotel smelled great and was clean. There was a "kick back" in the evening that provided drinks and snacks that were free. Comp cards were given to redeem the free alcoholic drinks. The hotel also provides a great buffet style breakfast that has many options. I would definitely stay here again, as well as recommend it to others.

This is a great hotel, very clean and the breakfast and the 5:30 kickback taste great.

I have stayed at many Drury hotels and the staff here was hands down the most friendly. Room was clean but traffic noise was a bit much. Request to stay on the back side away from street.

Stayed here twice during our trip to TN. Nina is super sweet and ALL the staff is super friendly. Clean rooms and nice amenities. Breakfast and dinners were tasty!

Over all it was not bad, but I had one major issue to me and the room for the money was tiny and no real place to even sit. If dogs barking bothers, you I would suggest another hotel. I have inside dogs myself, but I do not travel with them. I do not think it is OK to bother other people when traveling by my dogs barking and barking at night. This is what happened to me. Drury Inn had a guest next to me with a dog and it just started barking one night. Now in their defense they did get it stopped fairly quickly but this should not happen. With what I paid for that tiny little room I should not have to deal with that type of problem. If they want to allow dogs, I don't have a problem with that build a section and put the dogs in it, then if they bark, they are bothering others with a dog themselves. I did not get the value for my money. I work too hard for my money to have to deal with this miss when I travel. No, I would not stay here again even though they do have a lot going for them. It is not would the headache.

Booked us a room last minute. Staff bent over backwards for us they were super nice and helpfull. Only negative was that one of the elevators was out of order and their was a long wait every time you wanted to use it.

Our suite was emaculently clean. The staff is very friendly. The food was very tasteful. It's a great place to stay and you're close to everything including Tanger Outlet for the shoppers.

Suites are a nice size with pull-out couch in the living area and large bedroom. Free breakfast and dinner/drinks is great. Entrance/exit to the parking lot is strange though.

Older style Drury property, but it has been updated. Location is kind of tricky to get to if coming off Interstate southbound. I appreciate the cleanliness of hotel and the free breakfast and supper. Bathroom is very small.

Attended business meeting. Ac works great. Good coffee. Nice attendants. Very clean.

They didn't have enough toilet paper. Had to use towels instead. Very sorry to the room service people. My apologies, taco bell does not sit with me well. Other than that, chairs works excellent at backup beds. 5 out of 5 but -2 cause of the toilet paper issue

Very nice hotel. I visit them alot do to my work, but they always have clean rooms and great service. The best part of them is they have free breakfast, free lunch and also drinks! You get a card for the whole week and you have I believe 5 little spots that get punched everytime you have a drink. So you can get all 5 for that whole day or couple here and there everyday.

Our second stay was this past weekend. We also stayed here while visiting family in Horn Lake during Thanksgiving 2018. Both visits were enjoyable. In 2018, it was a recently upgraded property. This recent trip we paid approx. $150/night. I travel a lot for work, so having spent a lot of hotel time in bigger cities (NY, CHI, DC, Charlotte, etc.) for me the rate is quite high for a 3-star hotel in Southaven. That said, not being as familiar with the Drury brand I continue to be impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the extremely pleasant staff. Free hot/cold breakfast bar, free evening cocktails & snacks, free WiFi, and free parking. Conveniently located near restaurants, shops and grocery stores. We'll stay here in the future.

I was very disappointed I always stay at dury in me my wife was on the way back from stlouis and we always get a room for around 100 to 120 . But we get thear and they say is 179 +tax and ask why and she tells me it's because something that is happening in Memphis so they raised the price

Clean comfortable and dog friendly with great staff. Drury is rapidly becoming our go to hotel chain.

This is my 1st stay in a Drury Inn and, although we were only here for an overnight stay on our road trip to New Orleans, l would be remiss if l did not say how pleasantly surprised l was with the hotels accommodations and customer service. The exemplary receptionist Tameka Mitchell was very friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. My wife and l would not hesitate to stay at a Drury Inn again and, will recommend them to our friends and family.

Good location off the highway, lights didn't work in the bathroom

Stay there at least once a year, bringing our dog - very friendly staff, clean place, good breakfast, and convenient to get to from the Interstate.

Great hotel in a nice location. The 6'10'' manager Josh was super helpful and nice throughout our stay. Definitely recommend this place

Stayed here while on vacation, we love, love, love the drury! We have always found them clean, great service and great food and this location was great! the 5:30 kickbacks are not to be missed, even serve you drinks, love the margaritas and tequila sunrise!

Stayed 2 nights, didn't notice a hole the size of an orange on the bedding until the second night.
Reported to manager Brad McPherson and his response was " Oh Yeah, that shouldn't be there". NO apologies or any offer of compensation..looked like a mouse bit through the sheet.

Over the last 20 years I have only stopped at drewrys end when I travel. I would give you a 5 this time but if your breakfast service is till 10 then I suggest the people don't start clearing at 9:25, you also advertised as being open to the public then you should serve up till 10 not start clearing at 9:25 otherwise, as always wonderful rooms wonderful service an extremely clean and I feel secured at 70 years old

Staff genuinely concerned that all is well with your stay. The 5:30 kickback and breakfast makes Drury Inn one of the best deals around. Rooms are spacious, clean and hotel is well maintained. North side of the building picks up traffic noise, but this would be an issue with any hotel.

Loved my stay. Very nice hotel. I stayed there due to me having to travel for a work trip. Only issue was I went to work came back which I thought they clean the room and refresh it for you. They changed the towels out and made the bed. When I pulled back the sheets they where the same sheets from the night before. Only thing they did was make the bed. There is where my issue came in at. Same dirty sheets on the refreshly made bed. Make me wonder is that what they do when you check out and the next guest stays. Hummmm... I would question that!!

The BEST place to stay for your home away from home. The staff was absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. If the staff in all the other Drury Inns are like the staff at the Southaven/Memphis location it speaks volumes for this hotel chain.
So I truly thank the Southaven location for accommodating the 50+ guest we had in our party.
Not to mention that no other hotel that I've ever stayed in in the past has ever offered a full (hot) breakfast bar and a 5:30 dinner (call the kickback) for their guest.
I know one thing I will no longer partron another hotel on my out of town stays other than Drury Inn.

Extremely rude check-in staff. Not welcoming AT ALL! Otherwise, very clean, comfortable room and nice hot breakfast.

This was my first stay in a Drury Hotel. It was a very good experience. Clean (which is my first wish) Friendly guests (cute kid's) and privileged to meet the Asst. Gen. Manger Josh Hager (as nice as he is tall) and a very sweet Denise at the front desk! Thank you very much! I gave 4 stars because we always have room for improvement in our lives!
The 3 drinks were icing on the cake!! Hot tub working great! Fun pool 1/2 inside, 1/2 outside! I am from Wisc, so I had to go OUTSIDE in Jan to get my kick!

The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were better than expected and the price was reasonable. We really enjoyed the indoor outdoor pool.

Second Drury this week with another win. I'm really growing to like this chain. Comfortable rooms and beds, 530 kickback, drinks, friendly employees. If you get the chance talk with the manager, he is a really nice guy who gets the service industry (Chris maybe)...

We stay here everytime we pass through Memphis. The rooms are always nice and the staff is always pleasant and inviting. The breakfast, dinner, and drinks are a nice perk too.

When checking into room, bed wasn't freshly made, just pulled over. Despite that awesome hotel and staff, from check in to breakfast and the afternoon kick back.
