Started out good then went down hill from there. The sales man didn't seem to have time to fish up with me a the car I was wanting buy was not available with out a down payment so he suggested a second car that seemed ok till with inspecting the car it had a good bit of rust that was not mentioned, and when I try to explain to the salesman that I was not untested in buying that car don't have time to talk to me and told me that he would get to me when I was called up then but was with 2 customers that came in after I had been sitting there and had waled the whole lot, I will not be going back

Driver's way is hands down the easiest way to buy a car. The website is excellent for preparing and shopping at home so you know what you want before you get there. The sales reps treat you like customers, not like walking commissions. If you head to this location, ask for Bruno. He knows his stuff, no BS and he's fast and efficient. I traded in a car for a new truck and was out of there in about 2 hours. Would recommend Driver's Way and Bruno Riechert to anyone.
We had an awesome experience at Driver's Way 2 weeks ago. We knew exactly what we wanted, a used Ford Escape. We started out early Saturday morning and had several dealerships in mind to visit but Driver's Way was our first (and last) stop. It was so easy and our salesman Jason Dillard was awesome. Very friendly, knowledgable and not pushy at all. It made the car buying experience enjoyable and the next time we are in the market for a vehicle, he will be the first person we go and see.

My wife and I first found the perfect 4Runner on their site but it would be several days before we could come up for a test drive due to being so far away. So we sent our pre-approval letter and Jesie from the Business Development team reserved the car for us until we could get there. we had shopped a lot online to narrow down our choices of cars for my college aged daughter. We drove several car that were very similar at very similar prices at another "high end" used car dealership close by, and the difference was obvious. Because no one at the other place talked to us, (and I know some people may really like that), we were all on our own trying to figure out what cars where actually there that fell within our preferences. The minute we got to DriversWay, Chris was interested in what our needs and expectations were, and while the car we'd seen online had already sold, he took a lot of time to drive us all over the lot, and pointed out all kinds of options that we hadn't captured in online searches. We bought a car that afternoon, and he was completely the reason we were able to do that. We got a car that checked all the "must have" boxes, and even included some extras we hadn't expected. I know online shopping for cars is what a lot of people want, and we certainly used that to do research and form our overall plan of buying a car, but seriously, nothing replaces having someone who listens and cares about what you need, and takes the time to try and make that happen.

Don't go there. Arrogant unhelpful stuff. I drove over one hour, took a look at the car. I talked to Grant Montgomery but he wouldn't let me testdrive it. First he said that they don't want to let me testdrive, unless I'm sure to buy because they would have to clean it again, if I didn't get it. Then he didn't like that my driving license was German and not American. In the end he said something like that I should have Liability Insurance to test-drive a car or sth. Excuses over excuses. It feels like they want to sell but they don't want to provide any service or effort. I owned many cars woth six figures, and I never experienced such a bad unhelpful service. Went to Hendrick Chevrolet in Hoover, instead. They know how to treat curstomers.
I recently purchased either my fourth or fifth vehicle from Bruno Riechert at Driver's Way. Bruno is without question the best car salesman I have ever encountered. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of all of the vehicles. He shares the pros and the cons of each vehicle and always gives a thorough and honest answer, no matter how many questions I ask. I always feel like a much more informed consumer after dealing with him. The paperwork process was quick and simple, and, within a couple of hours, I was out the door. It s a sales factory. Salesmen are stereotypical used car salesmen. Buyer beware...they use all the tactics from the salesmen s handbook.
However, they have a good selection of vehicles so if you don t know what you want and can handle pushy sales tactics then this is a useful place to start your car shopping.
So happy with my experience at Driver's Way 280! I had sold a car there a few years ago and was satisfied with the price I got for it. The vehicles they have available are top notch and in great condition at a fair price. Most of them are 1-owner with a clean Carfax. The two I was interested in seeing were at the Pelham location. Eddie offered to bring them to the 280 location the very next morning. He was very laid back, but helpful. Upfront and honest, gave me the bottom line and went to bat for me with the financing dept. Even though he had three guests at the same time, he always checked in and gave an update on where things were at. I felt very comfortable during the whole process and would recommend anyone in need of a vehicle to visit the 280 location and ask for Eddie.

This was hands down the best experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. Camara patiently fielded all my questions, even making her self available via text and email. (Which in my line of work was a lifesaver). By the time I got to the dealership all I had left to do was test drive the car! Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful and put my mind at ease. Since the purchase Camara has continued to provide such great support.
So, would I recommend this dealership? Yes. I already did. And my friend bought a new car there as well. And he's just as thrilled as I am!
The last time I had bought a car here was 2007. I wish I had returned sooner. My salesman, Daniel Sullivan, was great. I liked his personality; laid back, good sense of humor, but also very knowledgeable about the vehicle lines, and the vehicles they have for sale. Another positive attribute about Daniel is that he cared. He wanted to make sure, he put me in the right vehicle, and he was honest when I asked him about other vehicles, I inquired about. Driver s Way has a great selection of used vehicles for sale. The prices are great, too! I will definitely buy another vehicle from them, when I need one.
This is a great dealership to with. Great selection of cars at great prices. We went to the Hwy 280 location just to look and ended up signing papers an hour and a half later. Our sales person, Chris Carter was great. He helped us find what we were looking for and made a great, smooth buying experience. He even stayed after hours for us. Online it says Drivers way helps with bad credit. I myself and four friends have came to find out this is NOT the case. Seems like they want the cars for only certain ppl. They knew it was certain person trying to get the car so they made it seem like we couldn t! Now i know we can get a loan bc one of the people that ran my credit with another dealership was the same bank, and I got approved.. They shouldnt just assume that if you have bad credit you wont pay! Things happen to people that they dont understand, could be a lawsuit situation student loans they dont know!! They have forever lost all of our buisness!! Also in person being there the guy never called me back to follow up either i had to call!!
Walked in wearing sneakers and jeans but ready to buy a car. Only one person spoke to us. After she ran my credit and learned it was stellar - the treatment was much better and I did buy a car. However, I had to meet with them 3 times to re-sign the financing paperwork. So- walk in there looking like a normal person and see how you get treated.
Brant Langford was great to work with. He was patient and helpful and answered all of our questions. By the time everything was finished they had been closed for over an hour. He definitely put in the time and I would do business there again without hesitation.

I went to the Pelham location and this was the easiest car purchase I've ever made. I searched the inventory and found what I wanted, then went in and got that specific car. No haggling, upsales or anything else. Eugene Zinger was extremely patient and thoroughly explained the process when we were doing the paperwork. Gave me my options and offered advice, but let me make the decisions with no pressure. This is how all salesmen should be! The only negative I can come up with is the time it took to do the financing. The dealership definitely needs more help in that department, especially on a Saturday, but at least I had good company while I waited. I'd recommend Eugene and Driver's Way - Pelham to my grandmother and anyone else in a heartbeat. Love my car!
The service department at Driver's Way is the best. I won't go anywhere else. As a woman, it is hard to find a service department that takes me seriously. These guys always listen to me, ask questions, and are honest. They have never tried to sell me anything I don't need and explain everything clearly. I have been a loyal customer for 12 years and always recommend them to my friends.

I have always been a fan of Driver's Way. I just bought my third car from them. They always give you the best price for your trade-in and they have the highest quality used cars in the state. I can always find something I like there. Dylan Lanier is a great guy. He helped me figure out what kind of car I was looking for and showed me a few that I hadn't seen on the website. Driver's Way salespeople are not your typical pushy car salesman and that makes a world of difference when you are trying to make your decision based on what you really need. I also love their 30 day return policy because it's a great way to get to know the car you just bought and make 100% sure you picked the right one. Whenever I hear that somebody is looking for a car, I tell them to check out Driver's Way. I wish they would expand into other states!
We purchased our second car this year from Grant Montgomery. Luck of the draw the first time paired us with him to purchase my wife a car and the experience was simply superb. He s why we came back to purchase another when my son s car was totaled. We ve purchased two cars from Carvana and liked the no-contact experience okay, but having Grant guide us through the process and just chatting with him during some of the waits was entertaining and really made the experience better than the online experience.
