Well, the actors were very animated and seemed quite talented, including some impressive musical abilities. Also, lively performances from our undead waiters set our expectations in good spirits.

What a dreadful shame the show didn t have a writer. Perhaps if you have an affinity for penises and bras, and find them funny as a joke unto themselves, this may be worth a look in.

One meal was quite good, the other dry and miserable. We left half way through in utter boredom.

A very strange, random but entertaining show.

Absolutely not what I imagined just by looking at the website but all in all was worth the experience.

A few critiques - there should be clear signs, paths and staff pointing guests directly to the main theatre if they want to bypass the ride.

The pathway that is forced on you takes you to the ghost ride, which is down a long flight of stairs and 100% not suitable for disabled people.

I had a friend with crutches due to a knee injury and he had to travel up and down many stairs from the entrance to the ghost ride; he tried to enter the ride but it wasn t suitable as when the doors of the ride close, it would compress his leg.

At no time were we stopped and advised by staff that continuing on their guided path would it be unsuitable.

He had to walk all the way back through the long line at the ghost ride. There was no other exit from the ride.

The ghost ride ends at the theatre, where once I informed one of the staff, they were really helpful in finding him and bringing him to the main theatre.

So there should really be a CLEAR way to access the theatre directly and bypass the ride. He was able to get into the theatre somehow once staff personally escorted him to the theatre so it s possible. Just need to make it very clear to guests and accessible from the beginning.

I understand and know exactly why their preferred path forces you to the ghost ride, cause it plays a role in the pre-show entertainment but it really should be made optional.

Also there should be wheelchair ramps all throughout the venue.

Imagine someone with a disability who needs to use a wheelchair or an elderly person.

For now, consider the venue not disability friendly.

The bar area and techno clubbing music in the foyer and outside the venue was a bit pretentious, but this is personal opinion.

Think the first Blade movie, opening scene at the vampire club . That was probably the inspiration but they can definitely do the vampire horror theme a lot better and set the mood better by going in a different direction.

The show itself, the musical acts, dance and acrobatic performances were fantastic, I wished there were more of these in the show and a few more songs and musical acts.

All the cast are absolutely talented and did well.

The set design and show was really good and visually very appealing.

Definitely can afford to cut out some of the filler though, filler jokes and inconsequential banter for example, they cheapened the show a bit and weren t funny or entertaining. A little cringey and stretched out the shows run time, which was already stretched due to the long path to the theatre via the ghost ride.

The 3 course dinner was okay, not great but okay. The only thing I liked was the pork belly ribs with sweet potato mash. The dessert and entree I didn t really care for.

Drinks aren t included with dinner and are sold separately. It s $15 for a jug of coke, it s the pre-mix coke you find at pubs or RSL s which doesn t taste the same as coke from a bottle or can. At the very least water should ve been included.

Those who chose Show Only tickets will be waiting a long time during pre-show while dinner cabaret guests are served their food.

There s a section in the pre-show where the cast gives a shout out to guests who are celebrating a special occasion.

I had emailed Dracula s in advance asking if they could give a shout out to one of my friends who s getting married. No reply came but once that part of the pre-show came up I was hopeful that my request would be fulfilled because a lot of other people celebrating an occasion were given shout outs.

My request was ignored. I did book our tickets via Groupon, not sure if buying discounted tickets was the reason they ignored my request.

A lot of improvements could be made but overall a unique, random and entertaining show.

You ll be saying wth to yourself a lot and you won t understand what s going on so just go with the flow and enjoy the different set pieces and musical numbers for their technical beauty.

We had a great night at Dracula's! The first thing I thought went entering the bar area is that it reminded me of Fangtasia (any other True Blood fans?). Yes, it's all a bit over the top and camp, but that's what makes it fun! Drinking "blood" from an IV drip while a Drag Queen sings Led Zeppelin on stage - what more could you want?

We went on a Thursday night and it wasn't packed at all. The food was pretty good--I had the fish- but I found the portions to be fine, unlike other reviewers. The dessert was amazing! Drinks were okay, but expensive.

The show itself was great! Both of the male performers had fantastic voices. And the twins were brilliant! The female singer wasn't my favourite, but the rest of the show was wonderful. Wouldn't really call it a Cabaret, though...just felt like a normal stage show.

Would highly recommend and would definitely go back! Also, check Groupon for discounts!

Unique experience that will test your senses, something you must experience once, twice or even three times yourself!! Food's awesome, cocktails are delicious with new shows yearly you'll be thoroughly entertained, making Dracula's a must-see Gold Coast attraction!

We came a couple of years ago and it was amazing. Sadly this time it was very amateurish and paying at the end of the night was ridiculous. We paid for the VIP treatment and were really disappointed when we were seated up the top and to the side. It was a mission every time someone wanted to go to the toilet which was frequently. The food was good but not to that price. It was alot of money to us and we were really disappointed in more than one aspect of the show. I can't say I'd recommend it like I did last time.

Pros:

Pros:
+ shows can be entertaining & decent production considering their size
+ good food (not off the charts but good)
+ ornate and fitting decorations
+ warm & friendly service
+ reasonable price for tickets, menus, and drinks

Cons:
- can be crowded and squishy at times

If you've been to Draculas in Melbourne and think you've seen it... THINK AGAIN!
This was such a crazy experience.

This place is a mansion!! From the moment you step in line you are surrounded by entertainment.. whether it was the lights that dance on the building, of the abundance of performers that surround and greet you... it was truly special... you're then led through multiple steps to get to your seat.. its more of an immersive experience then dinner and a show.

The food was great, the service was top notch and the entertainment was absolutely fab!

Must see for sure...

Went last night..very rushed dinner service...eager to bring drinks but not so eager to bring water to the table...Went 9 years ago best show we'd ever seen but last nights show was not a patch on previous one we'd seen...Went in with very high expectations and unfortunately left very disappointed

Unbelievable! Best I've seen anywhere in the world! Food good, show spectacular!
Only worry, we were packed in and really could be a deadly fire trap. Time to upgrade your venue guys!
Fabulous work on show though.
Do NOT miss seeing this!

The wait staff were awesome and it was a good atmosphere, but the vegetarian food option needs to be completely overhauled. We don't know if we came on an "off" night but the 2 vege patties and salad was not very good and desert was not much better. Drinks were okay and the show was good. Just the food was an absolute let down.
Hopefully if we come back we might get a different experience.
Loved the act at the end of the old school legends of music.

On entering it was very impressive, then we sat down. We had to listen to 2 idiots talk for 45min about where everyone came from, then another 30min talking about what to expect in the show, put this with a 20min smoke break every hour and I was board out of my mind. I spent $600 for 3 people (VIP) and we all agreed to walk out during the last intermission. Not something I would recommend nor do again. Plus having to wait for people we did not know to arrive (20min late) before we could eat was another thing altogether. My advice. Use your money for something much better like a prostate examination

We visit Gold Coadt almost every year and go to Draculas as the entertainment and the food is usually brilliant. Last night the performance was extremely mediocre although the individual talent was definitely there. The overall show just did not click. Chose the Burramundy as the main course, and received the fish flooded in sweet coconut sauce, YUK! Wish I did not go, as I am now reluctant to go again.

Great show I was cracking up the hole time food was great. Doesn't matter where you sit as you can see the hole stage from any seat.. service was great, but the show goes for a while so I suggest that you get a 6 pac in a bucket or a cocktail in a big glass..

Been to a few of their shows now and it's a novel and entertaining way to spend an evening. Food is usually pretty good, the theming is very well done, and the show fun and naughty. Don't go if you dislike swearing or naughty jokes

Muertos. One of the best shows I've seen here. Good food good drinks and great show. Was a brilliant night. Acrobatics music puppets lights dancing singing comedy costumes and makeup..all excellent. Highly recommended. The teens also loved it.

The show is awesome. It's a dark sense of humor type of show with dancing, music, illusion and a touch of comedy. You also receive a decently portioned meal and desert. The show will run you around $90. Any drinks inside will cost $15-$20. I recommend to try the blood bag. It's a fruity and delicious alcoholic drink. They have a smoke pit for smokers. The show lasts about 2 hours.

don't bother, waste of money, food is subpar, drinks are ok priced. Service is quick, but quick service doesn't mean good quality. Told to come at 7pm to wait in a line outside for 30-40mins... The show itself is short and anti-climatic.

Had a great time at Dracula's. All the theming is done so well. Staff get into the vibe too. Music and singing is really good. Food is fine, nothing super special but decent given the number of people they're feeding. An amazing experience and must do for any visitor.

My close friend and I visited Dracula's on it's reopening night (10/07/20) after COVID restrictions eased in QLD. We visited the Gold Coast specifically to go to Dracula's, where my friend hadn't been before. The last time I visited was just over 6 years ago.

It's just as I remembered it. Fun, electric atmosphere as you walk through the gates, and eclectic characters out front sheparding you in (it's not as bad as it sounds). These characters boast powerful personalities which can be a little off-putting if you're not used to the whole In Your Face business, but they'll lay off you in search of fresh meat as you wait in the queue to enter Drax's lair.

If you grab VIP tickets (the following paragraphs are from a VIP experience), you'll get to experience the Ghost Train, a small no-thrills coaster, as you head into the lounge. Be prepared for a scare, however.

Inside the lounge, you'll be totally immersed in Vampire-ness. A wonderfully themed room with caskets, a skeleton or two, and most importantly, a bar.

From there, you'll have your photo taken with the option to purchase it at the end of the show, and you'll be welcomed into the theatre.

An entree will be brought to you to devour as remaining guests find their seats, then your main. Be prepared for some heckling from the waiters if you're a slow eater like me.

It's with a full stomach that the show begins! Be prepared for two hours of belly laughs, inappropriate giggles and a nice side dose of blushing. This show is not for the prudish.

The high you feel after leaving the cabaret lasts well into the night as you retell your favourite moments to your converted vampire companions.

In conclusion: if you're visiting the Gold Coast put Dracula's on your To Do list, if you dare. A ghoulish night of fun and fantasy, you won't regret visiting Drax's and his friends.

Went there for the first time for a chrissy party last week.. overall it was pretty good.. if you haven't been then you should go.. but then once you've done it you probably won't need to go back.. lines up for 20 min to get in. Then lined up for 10 min to go thru to the main bit. Then took 20 min for our waitress to come round to order beers. (Was a little disappointed about that) Food was good, nothing amazing tho. But it came out pretty quickly. I don't know why people say it's expensive. Beers started at $6 and cocktails were $16 so thats pretty normal if you ask me. Cocktails were too sweet tho. Entertainment was great. Cast were Awsome. Show went on a little long tho. Altho if it was short people would complain about that so better to be the other way I guess. Overall pretty good and as I said if you haven't been then you should go but yeah don't think I'll be back for a while...

I definitely recommend coming here, went again after 9 years and it was such a great experience! Definitely heading back to draculas when I'm back. We went for the VIP package and it was so worth it, such value for money! Absolutely loved it!

An average show, squashed sitting and couldn't see whole stage, they forgot to give us our main meal had to ask, got yelled at by the waitress she was very rude. My advice don't go on a week day cause even as a vip yr downstairs. Upstairs much better in every way. Disappointing for the cost.

We visited Draculas last night as a family to celebrate my beautiful son's 18th birthday. What a show!!! We laughed from start to finish. The food was excellent, the staff so friendly and efficient, the talent of the members of the show cast were world class. I have seen many shows in Sydney where I am originally from and yours was the MOST enjoyable. Everyone made a big fuss of my son, getting the audience to sing him Happy Birthday which was a difficult task considering there were so many people there, in fact I think it was a full house!!! My son said it was the best birthday of his life. The sarcasm from the staff was so tasteful and with good humour that no offence could be taken. We loved the photo we bought and will take pride of place in the album I am putting together for his 18th that in years to come he can show his future wife and children. Thank you to everyone at Draculas for making us laugh. I have been very unwell of late with cancer and it was my first outing since surgery last week and I came home with hope rather than the despair I have been carrying around.

Was a great new show that was tequila themed. The acts were fantastic, great singing, funny as humour, brillant guitarist, sourcy outfits including a 3 course meal (entree was the only disappointing thing).
