Visited today 25/4/19. Firstly the negatives. Was a long wait to be seated, over an hour and the show lacked continuity. However the venue was amazing, hosts were funny and talented. Food was good, I had the pork belly which was cooked well. Seating while cramped but was ok, I had to turn my chair around to see the stage. The show was amazing, abit disjointed but very good. Funny, exciting and entertaining. Guitarist was amazing, the main singer did an awesome version of stairway to heaven and everyone else did their jobs well. After initial aprehension I thorougly enjoyed the experience and will 100% be back. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Very disapointing. I have lived on the Gold Coast for 10 years and have gone to all the previous shows, but this time was so bad I wont be back. The atmosphere has gone from one of fun, to one of pumping through people, selling you as much alcohol as they possibly can and flogging their merchandise and group photos that are rushed (they used to be fun with props and the staff getting into the spitit of all). The show seemed to take forever to start and did not have as much content as previous ones and had film clips as fillers. Meanwhile the wait staff are pressuring you to buy more drinks (as they are instructed by management I am sure) and you are stuck in your seat in a very overcrowded theatre. The food was disgusting. Dont bother to go there if you have dietry requirement that is different to the food on their set menu. The staff didnt seem to know if the food they were bringing out was vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc. The vegan option was woeful. My mains was some sort of rice and tofu something that tasted off! Dessert was fruit! Have they not heard of vegan chocolate? The menu really needs to modernise as they have had the same style of food for the last 10 years and eating habits have changed. I dont blame the staff, I know management has made cuts and it shows.

AMAZING! this place is a MUST see when visiting, i loved the food and drinks were scrumptious!!
Seating was very comfortable, i had VIP and the view was awesome.
The detailing on the theme is just amazing and love the humour the staff have would definitely come again!
I saw the show with my boyfriends christian family and their reactions to the show were priceless

This is my favourite place on the Gold Coast. The food was to die for, the drinks absolutely delicious - I can t get the taste of the Horror Movie cocktail out of my head.
The show was jaw dropping, even though I d seen it four years ago and recognised many of the same segments, I was still blown away by the talent and skill of the performers.
Until next time Draculas, and please don t let go of that beautiful blond drummer man

I remember going to this place years ago and having a great time, which is why I went back again when holidaying there this time. It wasn't as good an experience.

The format just seems a little dated. The humour is mostly none existent. The singing is the kind that would be eliminated in the first round of shows such as Australia Idol or The Voice. The food is not bad, just mass produced with little care. The one saving grace were the "twins" contortionist/aerialist duo performing silks/rope tricks in the air, they were very good.

Just a very ordinary night and I am likely not to go again.

A must when you are visiting the Gold Coast.

A must when you are visiting the Gold Coast.

The atmosphere from the moment you pull up til the moment you leave is theatrically rich in the spooky, ooky and kooky kind of way.

The Zombie cocktail was the strongest cocktail I had ever had in my entire life, it was well worth the $23 alone but we were able to take home the creepy Tiki cups it came in too!

The Horror movie memorabilia was quite the surprising treat, especially for horror aficionados such as myself. The show had us in hysterics the whole time, it was the perfect balance of burlesque and vaudeville comedy and I would definitely visit again. Well worth the small ticket fee, highly recommend! 10/10!

It wasn't as good as my last visit many years ago.The meal was good. We sat next to a large group that talked loudly, argued and didn't shut up the whole night yet got more waitress service than any one else in our whole area (which was VIP) . No drinks service offered on the 2nd half at all. It wasn't a show. It was a whole lot of skits put together, the special effects were poor, there was absolutely no vampire theme at all so might as well been called something else - not Draculas. It wasn't good value for money. Its a shame its gone so downhill, I loved my first visit.

Exceeded expectations, food better than expected, staff worked very hard at entertainment and provided risque humour. If you are prudish and glum do not go here. Need positive attitude to enjoy show to full effect and some audience interaction involved!

What an absolute blast of a night we had. The cast and crew are all incredible. Fantastic performances by the entire group, from the acrobats to the singers and the drummer and guitarist. Very talented and fun bunch of people. The dinner was lovely and the service during the show was top notch. A must see if you ve got an evening free and a good sense of humour.

Decent food that is quickly served, very talented stage entertainers and energetic staff. Some elements of the stage show were truly creative and unique, use of mixtures of lighting and puppetry that ive never anything similar.

Show mainly consists of covers of hit songs from the radio. The night dragged on a bit, at least for me personally. The line to get in can be long if you aren't early, which then turns out to just be a bar. Another line to wait for the actual dining room and stage. Over the course of the night I think it's like 4 or 5 times you are funneled through areas solely to sell you things (photos, merch, drinks while you wait). Paid for a dinner and a show, not a shopping tour.

All in all fun night, mainly due to the staff themselves.

Love it

Dracula's is still fantastic! Been going there since i was 16. Never seems to disappoint. Staff always seem to be on top of their game and are always friendly and want to interact with you. The show itself is still pretty solid, feels a little more rushed and scheduled. But nothing to ruin your night. Now to the food, every time I've been there the food hasn't seem to change much, not saying it doesn't make my mouth water. Just like to see a bit more change to the menu. Last thing i suggest it to book VIP seating as sitting down stairs with all the hen's parties and trash can sometimes ruin your night.

Conclusion:
Dracula's still has it after 30 years. Yes things have been toned down and it seems to cost a bit more then it use too. But you still walk out with a amazing fun night under your belt.

We had heard lots about Dracula's and it has been around for years, so we thought it must be something worth seeing. How wrong were we! They started off saying that 8pm is the latest you could arrive at the venue to be let in, but we still had people on our table arriving up to 930, so we had to sit there starving because they won't serve you until the whole table has arrived. The food was disgusting - it all sounds good on the menu, and looks presentable, but it was easily the worst chicken meal I've ever eaten at a restaurant! Avoid it at all costs! The venue is poorly designed, with half the people (including us) sitting with their back to the stage, so we had to kink our necks for every performance. The performances were quite fine, which is the only reason for them getting 2 stars instead of 1. The venue was fine, and the staff were generally OK too, at least they were enthused, even if they were hardily around. Drinks is definitely where they make their money, even a jug of soft drink was $16 - be sure to bring your credit card! Hated that they pushed you to purchase a souvenir photo, which was expensive, without letting us see it beforehand - so money-grabbing. Overall it was tolerable, bit honestly I can't see why anyone would want to rave about this, I certainly don't recommend it at all.

This place is INCREDIBLE!!! Can't recommend it enough. The musicians and singers are all amazing. It's funny as hell, but professional in a way it's hard to describe. Like the theatre with real musicians on stage, and not in a pit down below, but with rock n roll, and amazing selection of tunes you will know and love.

Great night, had no idea what to expect. The lead up and way you get in to your tables was totally unexpected and so much fun. Service was great. Some beef meal was really average but everyone else enjoyed the other choices. Well worth going......

The food was fantastic, they really take the time to make it look and taste great which defintiley upped the experience. I didn't go into this expecting anything so the whole 'wait staff teasing you for ordering water' vibe was a hilarious shock and I loved it.

I did have one of the lucky $95 back to the stage seats which is the only reason for the 4 star (anything on the runway and stage was out of site if I wanted to eat) in saying that majority of the food was out before anything started so I did just flip the seat and watch as much as I could see and from what I saw the show wasn't bad. Special props to the guitarist & the singers, great experience!

Great night out, fun and funny show that regularly changes. Great staff top the night off. Food is pretty good for a cabaret....the cocktails are a bit over priced and far to sickly sweet. But otherwise a must see show love it.

We paid $130 each for the full VIP treatment and felt it was good value. As a VIP we got to be in a special queue and went in first. The banter started as we waited in the queue with staff in their various states of dress and some amazing make up. We went on the ghost train which brought back childhood memories from the old circuses.
The food was excellent - hotel quality - and the drinks were great. The drinks were great... so many different choices and sizes. All up we spent another $100 for drinks and tip.
The show was good especially the skit about sperms. We were first timers and enjoyed the banter with our waitress. Yeah F you!!!

It was a disappointing night compared to last year. The staff did not interact with the audience as they did last year and the show didn't even come close to being as good as last years i would even say it was boring. The stand up was quite good except for the dracula and van helsing skit, the one act of burlesque seemed like a poor imitation of burlesque with no real dancing skills to be seen even the acrobatic type acts were all the same. Apparently they changed the format so you could order more drinks however i got more alcohol last year with the old format as you ordered up big to last through each half and this time you hardly saw a waiter to get a drink. The food however is still quite good. It seems to me they halved their staff and their budget for the show with no real creativity put into this years show. As i said in the beginning this is all comparative to last years experience. I though after last year i would be going every year however after this year i doubt i will go again soo disappointed.

An hour and a half from arrival to being seated. It seemed that there were artificial "activities" like a ghost train ride built in to try and allow time to seat people because of the large numbers attending. The tables were so crammed together you couldn't move and many of the seats had very poor visual on the show. The wait staff, while apparently being rude as a part of their character, seemed to use it as an excuse to be rude if asked for something. Not enough staff on, so it was nearly impossible to get a drink. Food was reasonable. The show was less than impressive. A strange hotch potch of disparate acts put together, none of them particularly outstanding in their own right. The artistic direction was pedestrian. There was one male performer and comedian who was clearly talented and funny and he outshone the others. He was the saving grace of the night, otherwise I would have left at the first intermission instead of the second.

Wow wow wow , what an amazing experience , you guys are the best , me and my partner had the best night ever , we will absolutely come here again and complements to the chef AMAZING
Edit: just read some of the low star ratings and I feel like they were not open enough to embrace the whole experience, rude staff and inappropriateness was part of the show , prices are appropriate for what you paid for , could not rate highly enough well done staff

Always a must when friends or family visit. Great entertainment. The show changes each year. Cost includes a 3 course meal which isn't large but is usually OK.
The Draculettes provide great service. Be prepared to have the mickey put up you. It's all in great fun.
A bit on the pricey side but I think it's worth it. Their fancy cocktails are also a bit pricey.
Seating is a bit crammed - even in VIP.

Our experience began at a low point - staff came across rude and abrupt. We were trying to figure out if the rudeness was just a part of the theme but even if it was, it was poorly executed. Felt like the wait staff tried a bit too hard. Given the rudeness of the staff we welcomed being able to order drinks ourselves through the app. By the time you sit down to eat you ll be offered a few $10 - $20 addons , which is insulting given the $130 vip ticket. Once inside the three course meal is delivered to you as quickly as possible, as if on conveyor belts. The food tasted like it was from a cafeteria. The saving grace was the show itself, the performers were incredible and their sense of humour lightened our mood. Once the show finished and we were waiting outside for a cab we quickly realised we weren t the only ones who were disappointed.

The show was disappointing. Talented entertainers but there was no theme, nothing contacting the acts. Needs a good producer to make the most of such talented people. The vocals were also hard to hear, muffled. Great venue, great talent but wasted by poor production. .
