Dr. Jonthan Gording Optometry

Dr. Gording is the best optometrist I have ever been to! He is incredibly knowledgeable and always takes a large amount of time to explain things to you. You can tell that he really enjoys what he does and loves to help people. I really feel like I am in the best hands with him. My wife also sees him for her contacts and thinks he is awesome too. Hands down THE BEST!

Dr Gording is excellent! He is very patient and pays attention to details. He explains everything in layman's terms until the patient understands 100%. I definitely feel much more comfortable going to his boutique optometry practice than the popular, hip and fad Warby Parker shops due to his personal service.

Dr.Gording and his staff were so incredibly helpful and welcoming. I was wearing what I thought were my correct contact lenses for a year and after Dr. Gording examined me he explained that I was improperly fitted for my eye. When he put me in my proper fit and prescription I was SHOCKED by how clear and comfortable the lenses were. I was so happy with the clarity on the lenses that I cried because I didn t know what I wasn t missing in life. The staff was so warm and I reccomend everyone to go see them! Best eye doctor experience!

I've been going to Dr. Gording now for 5 years to get my contacts including my fittings and exams. He is an EXCELLENT Optometrist who I highly recommend. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. You can't go wrong with Dr. Gording!

Everything here --- from the customer service to the glasses selection to the doctors --- is excellent. Not only do they accept my crappy eye insurance, the receptionist even spent 15 minutes explaining its plan to me so I could figure out which options would save the most money. And the free snacks don't hurt, either.

I've been going to this office when it was Dr. Temkin's office (years and years!). Dr. Gording has continued with the excellent service and dedication to his patients' care. Not only does he take the time to make sure each prescription for lenses are perfect, but he checks for glaucoma, retinal scans for medical problems and photo of the eye for year to year comparisons. So much can be observed about your health through an eye exam. I trust and respect Dr. Gording as much as I due my primary physician. The office is clean, modern and the staff are personable and caring. He has an excellent website and their reminders always help me keep my appointments. During theses CV-19 times, they wear masks, take your temp and have you wash your hands. All the equipment is wiped down in your presence before it is used.

Helped out by a staff that could not have been a better combination of kind and efficient. A clear passion for patient care is here, making for an appointment that's wound as tight as a drum. Highly recommend!

Dr. Gording has been my eye doctor for several years. He's treated my countless styes; chronic dry, allergy eyes; a case of episcleritis; and he's been with me through my transition from 20/20 eyesight to middle-aged readers to progressives. His easy-going nature makes me feel comfortable and cared for. He's professional without being intimidating or stuffy. He speaks in layman's terms. Plus, he's funny. I appreciate that he's not pushy about selling products. He actually told my husband there's no reason for him to spend hundreds on basic readers (that he needs only occasionally); instead, he told him he could get a pair at CVS. When I needed progressives, he showed me glasses from various designers and price points, and his assistant provided all my insurance coverage information. Never do I feel pressured into buying glasses from him, and that makes me want to! Dr. Gording should be your eye doctor too.

The staff were absolutely lovely and I definitely appreciated the cleaning and safety measures they've obviously taken to make sure staff and customers are safe. Dr. Gording was equally lovely and patient; I especially appreciated how he took the time to make sure that he gave me the best advice for my own needs instead of just suggesting the most popular brands. Honestly one of the best experiences I've had in the past 20 years of being a glasses/contacts wearer! I'll definitely be suggesting his office to all of my myopic friends!

Great Experience This was my first time making an appointment to see an Eye doctor. Karen was phenomenal and super patient with me over the phone. The parking can be difficult if you have a morning appointment. Lucky mine was scheduled at 3:00pm and I had no problem finding a parking space. My visit was amazing and I can t wait to pick up my new pair of Boss glasses!

I've been seeing Dr. Gording for over 20 years. He's exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough, and professional and has made a huge difference in our family's life. When our daughter was 4 years old, she started developing apparent vision problems even though she tested 20-20 on the eye chart. Dr Gording was the only doctor who correctly diagnosed her binocular discoordination, and gave us a simple set of exercises to do at home that cleared the problem up after a few months (and cost nothing). Had she not been promptly and properly treated, the condition would have likely handicapped her for the rest of her life.

Dr. Gording is incredible. He s so professional and good humored. He s honest and he s so helpful. All of his assistants and employees are amazing as well.

Dr. Gording takes his time and really thinks about what your eyes need, and then comes up with the right prescription for better vision and more comfortable eyes. I've had vision problems for decades and have seen many optometrists, and I think he's the best.

I just had a fantastic experience with Dr. Gording. I found him through recommendations from several people, and they couldn't have been more correct. Very knowledgeable and nice staff and doctor. They took their time with me explaining everything and I never felt rushed. I have worn glasses since I was 6 years old and contact lenses since I was 12, and at 35, this has been one of the best, if not the best, optometrists I have visited.

We had a great experience with Dr. Gording. He was extremely kind and patient and great at making my 10 year old daughter feel comfortable with her first eye appointment getting glasses. Additionally, he was very knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest research in eye sight correction. He was recommended to us by other parents and after our experience, we would also highly recommend his practice.

I have been going to Dr Gording since 2008 and I have never had a bad experience. He has always been pleasant to work with and willing to work on a budget. Bottom line, he is a great doctor with a great staff!
