Love Tropical Sands and the house we stayed in is perfect. Clean, nicely furnished, everything as promised. A hidden gem! Thank you Shawn and office staff! And whoever owns this house, you have gone out of your way to make a vacation extraordinary at a reasonable price! Thank you!!
Just like all the other reviews this company just waste your time and money do yourself a favor and find some other place to stay
We had a great time here. It was a clean as I d expect and it was ideally located.
We have been renting a one bedroom unit at Village West Condos in Siesta Key for two years. We are in the final week of our stay and went into the office to book for next year. We were shocked to find that one of the weeks we have been renting has already been rented to someone else. In our 10 plus years of renting accommodations in Siesta Key we have never had this happen. Obviously they don't care about repeat business. Well, they won't have to worry about us coming back to any of their accommodations. We are done dealing with Tropical Sands!
I had really bad experience with this company, I rented a condo (unit 111) at Crystal Sands Siesta Key beach, it was a nightmare cockroaches everywhere, on the website the master bedroom showed a king size bed, but in real two twins size bed placed together with a king size comforter on the top simulating king size bed, the very old mattress with a cheap sponge as a pillow top, good luck sleeping on that, plus all sheets and bedding smelled and felt like never were washed, I bought fitting sheets and blankets for all beds, they reimbursed the money and I left the bedding. I understand the the floor and kitchen was renovated but they need update the bedrooms and bathrooms too, I think that a $800.000 market value unit deserves that.
My husband rented from here and the staff is so unprofessional. So unorganized. Our coffee maker didn t work and an employee did bring out a new one- his name is Mike? Very inappropriate. Made me uncomfortable how he looked at me. Later that day we went out to eat and caught him taking pictures of underage girls in bikinis and making inappropriate comments. I guess he didn t recognize us. My husband and I will not be vacationing with this company ever again. We will take our business to a company who has values and morals.
I'm hoping Tropical Sands Accommodations assists us with our very poor experience. Upon arrival all of our linens were soiled with hair on all of the bed sheets and linens smelled very bad. I went to wash them in the washer and drier and the unit washer was broken. Upon contacting tropical sands accommodations numerous times, I was promised that the bedding would be laundered by their service. We arrived Christmas Eve so I even gave them several days to respond. No one ever showed up to help us even after calling again 12/26/2016, 12/27/2016 and 12/28/2016. The floors were not cleaned upon arrival, very sandy and slippery, we entered to several dead roaches and the refrigerator made very loud noises and the handle was broken on the refrigerator. There were paint cans left on the counters and walls half painted. We attempted to go to the upper deck and the deck had very loose boards and was unsafe. The electricity was not working correctly and lights would go all out and then come back on. The unit we stayed in was 1100 Point of Rocks. It was one of my worst vacation experiences. I have four small children and it was so dirty that we left earlier than planned. We asked for help so many times and this company kept making promises and never delivered. Now we are waiting for some refund for a percentage of the fees we paid. Have not heard back.
We had a great experience with Tropical sands. We had trouble with the home we were renting and the customer service to get the issues remedied was great! Very professional and accommodating staff. Will be using them again!
