I had a job interview for a front desk receptionist position. The first day I went in to interview with the hiring manager in which, I was asked to come back the next day for a skills test followed by a 4-hour long I.Q. test , ending with 3 different interviews with 3 other individuals. I was told the results of my testing which proved exemplary made me an excellent candidate for the position (all this testing for a receptionist position.....ironic). I was told on my final interview that I would receive a phone call or email within the next week on the status of my application. I was also told that I would receive copies of all the tests I had taken. After a few weeks, I heard nothing. I called there 2 times to follow-up with someone about my application. I never received a call back and I never received my testing. This 8 hour waste of my time cost me over $250 at my current place of employment. The level of professionalism is so lacking and disrespectful, I wouldn t trust them with satisfying customers. What they don t understand is, with interviewing for employees, the employees, in turn are interviewing the prospective company. Epic fail! I wouldn t recommend applying to this company. It is a glorious waste of time, energy, money, ambition and breathe.

I applied for entry level software engineer job right after I graduated. I was invited in for a preliminary interview and exercise. I was given a take-home project which I completed and was scheduled for another in-person interview. I took the day off work; I literally spent the whole day there doing coding tests, multiple interviews etc. then I was told they would only pay minimum wage. I wish I had researched this company before. Everyone who has had a negative experience is spot on. The CEO surely has one exaggerated view of his company. I received a call later stating that they would not move forward with my candidacy. I feel sorry for the person in HR who delivered me the news because I just had to laugh and gave her a few suggestions to relate to the CEO and that I had already received a job offer for 4x the salary offered for that complete joke of a position.

I originally deleted my review in an effort to not disparage a company I hardly knew, but the other reviews with similar outcomes prompted me to relate my own experience.

While in college, I applied to an opening via Craigslist by this company for an office assistant position. My initial invitation included coming in for an IQ test, MBTI test, and simple deductive reasoning test. Thought it was a bit much, but did it anyway. A few days later I had a follow up with a low level manager. It was condescending.

I was instructed to wait for another interview. Having not been told when, I called in once a week, for 5 weeks. Barely managed to get a response. Eventually they asked me to come in and interview for a customer service position instead. So I did.

Another few weeks. Nothing. Then I had a second interview with another manager. Also condescending. Took me over to a third manager. This guy was nice but seemed disinterested that I had been dumped on him.

A week later I had an interview with the CEO. I understand tight knit companies but I thought I was applying for a job answering phones, not running the whole shebang.

CEO sends me home with an assignment to write a marketing ploy selling batting tees to aliens. I try my best. Two weeks later the marketing manager emails me a brief statement tearing my assignment apart and basically told me I wasted two months of my time as there was no position for me there.

Looking back on it, thank God for that.

I don't know if and how this company's customers have good relations with them. I advise all job seekers, especially those looking for a technical job, to STAY AWAY from these people. They will berate you, waste your time, treat you like an inconvenience, and if you manage to get in, you'll get minimum wage.

They honestly should be out of business due to lack of hiring integrity.

Today I had DPS Telecom tell me I'm not worth more then minimum wage at an interview: "since you're entry level we pay you entry level pay", and subject me to a 2-3 hour long IQ Test before answering my questions about pay and benefits. After speaking to HR they told me that the not telling me pay and benefits part was a mistake on the interviewers part but the rest is true. I feel disgusted at a company that's holds such little value in software engineers. Steer away from this place, it's a joke. The HR rep I spoke to had the audacity to tell me since they've been around since the 80's they know what they're doing.

Great company that makes great products, this shouldn't be used as a second hand glass door. DPS is filled with beyond intelligent engineers and staff its clear that they don't just hire anybody.

For those people that interviewed and got treated poorly, it doesn t get better on the other side of it if you get hired. I d like to point out that excluding the reviews of 3 current/ex-employees (Art, Mariam, and Ben) and 2 AstroTurf accounts (Supreme Designs and Pup Zee) their star rating would be a more accurate 1.5 stars (and that excludes my review too).

When applying for this company, they have you go through an extensive interview process and aren't upfront about it. They don't offer competitive pay; the job advertisement and lengthy, indirect hiring process preys on recent graduates looking to gain experience and thrive.

I interviewed with them twice. I completed the challenge the first time and they never called me back for another interview. I kept calling but nothing. Second time I went in for my prescreening interview and I was never sent the challenge I was supposed to complete. I really wanted to work at this place but not anymore. The pay is poor and it's true, they prey on recent graduates that are looking for experience. Stay away from this company

Went and did the interview process which took about a hour or so. After meeting with the management was told I would hear from them within a week. Did not hear about position but saw they reposted for same I had interviewed for, so went ahead and applied again. Few days later received call about my application and I had told them I already did the prescreening and interviewed. Was told I would have to do it all over again. Pretty unprofessional in my mind.

Before I went to interview at this place, I read the comments and thought it just can't be true. No company is that bad! I thought. This company gave me a test when I arrived. I passed the test and then proceed to the interview. After the interview, the interviewer said that I need to do a take home challenge. It's a week worth of project. He emailed me all the details and said I need to use KiCad. No details except what processor he wanted he to use. I had to design, layout and learn a new tool all in one week. I sent him my completed work less then a week. I emailed him two days after to see if he have any question. No response. I called and left a message. No response. I waited another two weeks just in case he was too busy. I called him and he asked the secretary to verify my phone number and email. But I never receive a reply from him. Another week later I emailed him to see if he have any question and yet no response. Why ask me to complete a week of project just to completely ignore me. 4 weeks and yet not a word. I think I deserve at least a call or email saying " Sorry, you are not qualify". In my defense, I did a heck of a job on that challenge and the test. Never have I ran into a company that operate this way.

STAY AWAY. Do not waste your time. This job was minimum wage by the way. A company that treats it's interviewee this way is probably not worth working for.

They will treat you extremely poorly and waste about 3 hours of your time pretending to consider you for a position then insult you after all of it no matter how much you bring to the table. Very unprofessional company and don t understand how they are still in business.
