Be advised that volume is the priority for this clinic. It doesn t necessarily mean they provide poor quality care, but it does mean you may have a rough time if your dog or cat is anything but enthusiastic about being at the vet. That was my experience, anyway, as they don t take the time to get to know you or your pet. You ll also need to advocate for yourself at this clinic. The vet techs and receptionists talked amongst themselves at the front desk about me and my dog and I was the only person in the waiting room. They tried to send me away without telling me the results of his sedation and x rays. Once I was in an exam room, they talked about me outside the room, exasperated that I was adamant about being given the x-ray results. And after all that, the vet never called me with their ortho s consult on the x rays that I was promised at the time. If your dog is easy going and/or you re comfortable asking for what you need, then you ll probably have a fine experience here. Their rushed approach just isn t for me or my dog.

People were very friendly. Dr. had to poke my cat 3 times though. Made me a little uneasy.

Nice people, affordable care. However, for a year and a half they said our dogs licking was caused by nervousness and there s nothing that could be done. Went to another vet and they immediately diagnosed it as an allergy that had become a skin infection. They gave us meds and our pup was looking better in 3 HOURS! Very disappointed in Downtown animal care, our pup suffered for a year when she could have been better in hours. Immediately switched.

Great services! I called to make an appointment and Marisa called me back with a opening and got me in same day. She was very helpful, answered all of my questions and the entire process was easy and from start to finish.

Please note this is only a walk in vaccine clinic on Sundays. This wasn't clear to us, so we brought out dog in who had been minorly attacked my a dog that day. Although there wasn't much they could do for us, they did do what they could and were extremely helpful, compassionate and understanding. Would definitely come back here for the correct services!

I have always had good experiences at this vet and have found their pricing to be favorable compared to any other downtown vets I looked at. I got a new kitten and they had convenient packages for both kittens and puppies, these packages cover everything your pet is going to need for a year or so. Great, caring people working here too I highly recommend checking them out!

Staff is very friendly, takes care with your animals and if they don't have the answer for you they will research and consult to find someone who can help. Very great vet

The vets are VERY nice and compassionate. They're are gentle with the animals during the examinations and the giving of shots.

Our rescue was being treated for heartworms at DACC. The rescue uses DACC because of their cheap prices. However, it's important to remember you get what you pay for- even with veterinary care.

Upon picking our dog up from his last treatment, I noticed his collar and thundershirt were wet. I assumed it was water. I took it off and realized he was soaked in urine. He had two open wounds on his back from the treatment and they left a urine soaked thundershirt on him. I'm very upset this would happen to a dog we have spent so much effort, time, and money into rehabilitating from his previous abuse.

What this tells me is that our dog being treated for heartworms, a very difficult treatment, was not monitored during his stay at DACC and was not checked before being discharged. We overlooked the poor quality of the clinic due to the fact they're a "low cost" facility. But there is no excuse for this kind of neglect and mistreatment.

Very kind people, I have been taking my dog here ever sences I have got her.

Excellent vets. Great clinic. I drive 20 miles to this center even though I'm surrounded by at least 8 other clinics. Prices are fair and staff is friendly...check it out...

My dog needed surgery and I couldn't be more happy with my experience here. The surgery ended up costing LESS than what they quoted me and they call regularly to check and see how he is doing. The office is very clean and they have treats everywhere for the animals. very nice and professional and I would recommend to anyone!!! Thanks downtown animal care!!!

Terrible customer service and very poor communication with customers. Will never go back.

Took my kitten to be spayed, its in my opinion the best price for the service, I even took my husky. I take all my animals there its reasonably priced and on Saturdays or Sunday its stickley for vaccinations. Its a commute for me as i live in Aurora but its worth it. Very knowledgeable and always willing to take the time to answer any and all questions even over the phone.

Horrible experience here. Was told my bill would be $680-$880 and it was over a thousand.

I love this clinic, they take such good Care of all my fur babies, very affordable.

I have no complaints concerning the care and services DACC offers - It's affordable and the tech's are wonderful. The only thing I want to point out is that the staff working the telephone's can be rude and have a tendency to talk down to customers. Customer service (over the phone) is integral, especially now that there is less person-to-person interactions.

These guys are amazing... we had our pup misdiagnosed with arthritis from another facility. We came here because we weren't convinced and so glad we did. They found a cancerous tumor. They got us scheduled for surgery right away, they tried to just remove the tumor, but it ended up being an aggressive type that forced and amputation. They got us in for that the next day after the results were back. Needless to say, they saved our little girl's life, we get to spend so much more time with her, and she doesn't have to go through such a terrible pain of cancer. Thank you for saving our little girl's life, we owe you everything!

PLEASE READ REVIEWS!!! AND TAKE IN CONSIDERATION THAT THE BAD ONES ARE FOR A REASON. Long story short, I have been waiting on a call back from manager Amanda , if that is even her name, for 48 hours. And yes I have called several times between those 48 hours to see why she hasn t called back and the response is that she is busy, because we have had several emergencies today . If you can afford it, which I can t now due to paying $280 up front for a puppy package, go somewhere else where they will care for your pet and provide good customer service to you. I KNOW THAT ANIMALS ARE YOUR PRIORITY AND YOUR CUSTOMERS BUT THE HUMANS ARE THE ONES THAT PAY FOR YOUR SERVICES, so a little respect to them wouldn t hurt you Downtown Animal Care Center.

I called them to tell them my one year old dog had fallen out and I was in route to them with an emergency, they proceeded to tell me they were booked out two weeks and could not help me. I don t know about you but this is completely unacceptable. I have had my appointments delayed due to them receiving emergencies and completely understood. I would never expect them to turn down an emergency, triage. They are no longer our vet and I highly discourage anyone from putting their faith in this facility. If you can t handle an emergency close your doors. This happened early morning on a weekday. They should be embarrassed of the lack of professionalism. Do not go there. Your pets safety should come first.

They are rhe vest in the denver metro area,I had an emergency situation and was told buy an er vet the cost was 700-1000 at least to fix my dog and this clinic was able to squeeze me in and charge less . I am so grateful for them.

Customer service is seriously lacking. I spoke on the phone with two different women who made my appointment, but when I got to the office, they refused to treat my dog who was mid-heartworm treatment because the doctor didn't feel comfortable treating a dog who started treatment somewhere else. If that is the case, FINE, but someone should have told me that over the phone or email to the multiple people I talked to to confirm treatment. If they had told me, I would have found a doctor who felt "comfortable" finishing treatment and getting my dog healthy. Now my pet's life at risk because she is behind on her treatment schedule, and they didn't offer an alternative or any help whatsoever in the situation. Obviously never returning.

A bit pricey for being a low cost clinic! Found much less expensive vet through the former Pet Aid! Literally $300 cheaper!

Adopted a dog and the rescue does spay and neuter through these guys. I gotta admit even though back to back drive to here from our home in Fort Collins was awful they were nice and quick with everything.

I called several clinics before choosing Downtown Animal Care to bring my sweet baby Millie in. Some places were booked out months in advance, or refused to perform surgery (spay) without first scheduling an initial visitation (Vida Care). Others charged outrageous prices ($300 spay at East Evans). Downtown Animal Care Center was able to schedule me within the week, and they were willing to do the initial wellness check and spay in the same visit.

Downtown Animal Care Center provided quality, professional care at an affordable price. They were great with communication, they did not tack on any extra charges or try to sell me anything I did not need. After the surgery I had some concerns and called the office - they immediately put me on the phone with the doctor who was helpful in alleviating my questions and concerns. I am confident in the services that Downtown Animal Care Center provided and I will continue to trust them with my sweet little baby.

Downtown Animal Care Center provides exceptional care at an affordable price. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!

Had an bad experience however, they reached out to me immediately and fixed everything

I used to LOVE this place. I recommended all my family and friends to go here. But in the last few years, I have been disappointed. In the last few months, it's been downright HORRIBLE. My dog has seizures and they have been prescribing medication for him. They've screwed up his prescriptions over and over again. When I call to resolve the issues, the staff appeared annoyed and irritated. Every time I call, I get a different excuse or a different answer. I've given them about 10 chances to get it right and it has not gotten any better. So disappointing because this place used to be the best in town. I would avoid them now. Don't go here, they're nothing but a headache. I just attempted to pick up my final prescription from them and they got it wrong... AGAIN!!! Countless hours and money spent to simply refill a basic prescription, and they got it wrong. smh

Came in for my dogs visit and for most people first impressions are everything. I have never taken a dog to the vet an covid rules are different for every place. I was confused on the process to get my puppy in and the girl at the front desk was full of attitude and rude. Will most likely be taking my dog somewhere else next time.

This is such a wonderful place full of great people that love and take care of my pups. The staff is amazing !

We brought in our cat when we was having severe diarrhea. We asked for a full blood panel to be done because he was an older cat and we were afraid of liver/kidney failure. They immediately threw the most common cause of diarrhea back at us and gave him a regiment of antibiotics. They said he was in "perfect health" for a cat his age. This did not help at all. When we attempted to contact them again it took over a week before we got no response and had to call back. They then finally said they weren't sure because the blood work looked good but we should pay hundreds of more dollars to investigate. I shared our financial situation and they said they would call us back that afternoon with options. No call was ever made back to us. We ended up having to put down our cat because he was so uncomfortable and in pain. They do NOT care about your animals and do NOT care enough to actually call you back. Our poor boy was having severe diarrhea for over a month while we were trying to find answers. Do NOT go to this place.

Excellent service the vet techs are always incredibly helpful and super polite. My dog loves going to downtown animal Care, it's a pleasant experience every time. Highly recommend.

Hummm? Don't know about the rude staff reviews, everyone was super friendly on my visit!!

Took my chihuahua here because she broke a nail. She is very difficult to cut her nails and I hate to hear her scream. The staff was VERY understanding and nice. They took her to the back and left me in the room only to return her in about 5 min all fixed up :) n for the price, this place is a jewel!

I was also recommend here by a friend who said they had a great experience with their dog.

Their vaccine clinic was inexpensive, quick and very kind. Even got to see a litter of 8 week labs for their 1st puppy shots.

I will admit that I did see some negative reviews regarding the treatment of animals but I haven t had a negative experience here, only positive. I don t remember the name of our vet, but every time we take George here (golden doodle so you KNOW he is a hand full, spazzy, crazy pup) we have had nothing but great experiences. We got George fixed recently and they did a fabulous job. It was a little busy when we first came in and George was a little nervous. The tech came out and took George back, and a few hours later he was done! The vet that performed the neuter came out and went over the discharge information and she let me know how he did, his temperament and gave a personal experience compared to other places we have been to in the past. We will continue to use this facility as the place we trust for George.
