Dover Bowl Review

Very fun atmosphere. Great drinks, slot machines, arcad, laser tag

I love the Dover bowl. I've had a lot of fun there before. But tonight, I'm just completely confused. Now, I understand if you close because of the weather, but if you have lane reservations for the night and you have the reservations phone numbers... WHY wouldn't you call them to let them know you're closing early? That's just common courtesy. You already charged us for our rentals, and you don't call and explain? Let us know you'll give us a refund? Glad I wasted my time driving out here. Poor customer service.

So much fun! Thinking about having my daughter's birthday here! Great arcade and fair pricing. Food service is a little on the slow side but good portions and good quality food as well! We will go back!

We were lucky and got a lane before they got busy it was a 30 minute wait for our lane and after that they were reserved for the rest of the night. Bowling was fun even though our game glitched a few times and had to ask someone to fix it. Service from the bar and kitchen were both good, we ordered a pizza and three Angry Orchards.

As 10 pin bowling goes, you could do a lot worse. They make an effort and are constantly redesigning their bar area. Fun for the whole family!

Rude teenage employees who give you horrible customer service is what you get here ESPECIALLY at a children's birthday party ... fyi young girl employee IS CUSTOMER'S ARE THE REASON YOU EVEN HAVE A JOB so you should seriously lose your attitude!!! Doesn't even deserve 1 start ERRRRRRR

Awesome bowling alley, just make sure you reserve your lanes if you are going on the weekend. They are always so damn busy.

5 dollars per game is absurd. Especially for an alley that is dirty and dated. Go somewhere else and don't feel bad about the extra drive.

Prolly the only place you can bowl in two states at once, pretty neat. Bring a weak ball if your a high rev bowler. Skip 2dollar Tuesday to avoid the beer spilling folks. Or join in for drinks cheap enough you can afford to spill a few.

I went to Dover Bowl today and played bingo. I had a great time and the guy I was with won 400 dollars.

They have certain deal days and can be worth it and it's alot of fun!

Fun for team outings call before going in some days all the bowl both are reserved.

The only thing I didnt like was the selection of toys to redeem for tickets, the selection was awful . Hopefully you guys can stock better toys.

The 10-midnight bowl is amazing just make sure you reserve your lanes

Me and my wife always enjoy playing bingo here. The staff is very helpful and a lot of fun!!! I would recommend Dover Bowl to all my friends. The food is always good too!!

Good food, plenty of lanes. One of the only places with candlepin and 10 pin lanes. Laser tag, arcade, etc. Great place for adults and kids

We never got to bowl the wait was over 2 hours long

Really good place to go with people of any age. The bowling, bumper cars, arcade, and lazier tag are all great. Their food is a little expensive but really good. The candlepin lanes aren't in great shape which is a little dissapointing but all the other lanes work great. The Sunday night glowbowl deal is a really good value.

Usually I have a lot of fun here! However, if you're going bowling make sure you do not get put on lane 10. The lane is warped, and I wonder how many others could be. All of my balls veered to the right, and occasionally (if just at the right spot) as the ball would be heading straight for the gutter the ball would get kicked back towards the pins. To me (without being able to actually look at the lane) it seems like one part of the lane towards the end on the right is raised significantly, causing a slope the length of the lane towards that point. If you know about the problem, why would you send guests to that lane when there are others open?

While last weekend wasn't mt first time here. I have gone here for my own birthday celebration and with my family and friends on other occasions, last weekend was my work companies holiday gathering. We all had fun. The bartender was courteous and attentive. She gave some recommendations for drinks after asking and telling her what my taste preference was. She kept track of our tab with no mistakes. The food was hot and acceptable for bowling alley food. We all enjoyed bowling and laser tag. Our staff member in charge of our laser tag games seemed fun and social as well. Overall we had a great experience.

We and the kids played in the arcade and went on the SpinZone cars. Had a great time.

Finally found a place to go bowling for real in the Seacoast! None of that candlepin sillyness. Yay!

I wasnt sure my 3 yr old would like it or be able to play but she loved it and did well at it. The arcade was fun as well but they were out of alot of the bigger prizes so there wasnt a huge selection. But she still had a good time and i would go back again.

OMG! This place has it all! Bowling, bumper cars, laser tag, arcade, and food and beverage. Awesome place to take kids. They have birthday packages too! Their pizza is delicious.

I found this place to be unorganized for the birthday party. The pizza was horrible at the whopping price of $698!

My family always has fun here. Great place for children' birthday parties. The staff is always friendly and the place is well maintained. The pizza is some of the best in Dover.

Not oiled often enough, but great people serving you, all in....a good experience

Fun evening with my youngest. The place would benefit from an extra staffer or two, more balls available per lane (had to keep waiting for ball return) and maybe a few upgrades on the system, like automating bumpers per player. All in all though, a good time.

Overall Dover Bowl has a lot to offer with fun games, bumper cars, laser tag, good food, and a bar. But I'm a candlepin bowler born and raised. I like that they offer 10 pin and candlepin. But their candlepin lanes are pretty beat up and the pin action is not great. Bowlarama in Portsmouth, NH has great candlepin lanes.

Candlepin lanes are really terrible. They removed some of their candlepin lanes leaving only 4 and it is obvious that they are not well taken care of. Such a shame

We went on a Friday and had to wait 30 minutes to bowl. So we figured we would try the arcade. Well it turns out you must purchase an arcade card to use it. So we sat for half and hour and eventually got to bowl. Nothing too bad. yet. When we went to bowl, (we all spin our balls) the balls instantly hooked into the gutter, which caught us by surprise, and we thought it was nothing, but we kept bowling and couldn't spin the balls at all. I'm sure the lanes are fine for casual bowlers, but we asked when they had piled there lanes and they said 5 days ago. Any bowling place with serious bowlers should know to oil there lanes more frequently than that. 2/10 the guy at the desk was nice

Had a great time at Dover bowl. I'm not a fan of candle pin I love that they still have regular bowling there! Didn't see the arcade much but looked a lot cooler than when I was a kid

Great bowling alley they even have a fun laser tag, inside bumper cars, and an arcade! There is a little pizza shop inside too. This is a great place to have parties, have fun, or bring the fam along!

First time there, I like the place. Clean and good customer services.

Only wish I could have made reservations so we didn't have to wait! BUT, staff was perfect in letting us know how long the wait would be. Great arcade games to keep my 5 year old occupied for 1/2 hour ($30 later, but par for the course). Bowling was great!!! Awesome tunes, clean, easy to use digital screen. We didn't eat, but there were a lot of people eating the food they offered. Awesome place to spend a Saturday evening with your little kids.

Its a nice place but I'm not impressed with the string bowling, we played 3 games and I observed at least half dozen mistakes and strings knocking pins down

Dover bowl is a beautiful facility with candle pin and regular bowling for all ages. They have great food and drink options. They also offer an arcade, laser tag, bingo, and other events. Great place to meet up with friends in a family friendly environment.
