Two dollar Tuesday at Dover Bowl is my familys favorite activity in Dover. Everything is 2$'s, minus food and drinks, but they do have some 2$ deals as well, I.e. 2$ small fry . The arcade was also updated recently with new games. There is laser tag and bumper cars as well. Staff is friendly.

We had my daughter's 9th birthday here. It was affordable and kids had fun but staff was unorganized and seemed to like socializing with eachother more than assisting guests. I was over charged and although they made it right wheb I complained that two of my party guests got horrible burn/rash from laser tag vest being to big and heavy they seemed to care less. I simply want parents to beware that the vests are heavy and not meant to fit children causing horrible rug burn like rashs on shoulders and back. I wisg the staff had taken my feedback and did something to fix the problem or at the very least let guests know! All in all the kids had fun and didnt pick up on the unorganized staff or lack of them wanting to do their job at work!

Bowling was fun but a lttle more expensive than other towns around. Women's bathrooms were very dirty/smelly. Stall doors didnt close all the way. Almost all of the arcade games are $1.00 per play. People were very nice though.

Fun spot to go for multiple acitvies. Tuesday deals are fantastic. However, the staff always seem as though they are grumpy or under the weather. I ve had repeated instances of me/my friends being snapped at or given rude responses.

I spent over a hundred and fifty dollars on a fun evening for my seven
friends and I, it was decided that we wanted some candy and I inquired about spending money on the candy that they had in stock and I was not only denied I was kicked out for wanting to buy the candy they had sitting in the window. this was embarrassing and disappointing from the management that was in severe for the the night.

Love the renovation! This place is even better than before. Arcade is tons of fun. Staff is super friendly and helpful. This is definitely my go to place to bring the kids for some wholesome family fun on a weekend or day off from school. Not too expensive either. For the parents there are some really great drinks on tap at the bar. Love the music as well. Get the waffle fries!! Yummy!!

Bring your grandchildren. This place is great. Kid friendly and even has "kid" sized big bowlingballs should they want to try instead of small bowling balls. Great arcade too for while you wait for an open lane.

Fun, the girls there went above and beyond to make sure my granddaughter got her wish of bowling on her 6th birthday, they were awesome and we thank them. Will be fun time for all. She also loves the machine in arcade area where you can win those little duckies in picture..lol

It's a lil bit rundown, but it's still in operation. One of the few places in the tri-city area to bring young kids.
They enjoy it, and I like being able to see them from pretty much anywhere in the building

I come here once a week with some people & the employees & owner are very nice. The prices are reasonable/good. The score screen calculated everything for you and also offers a variety of backgrounds & graphics. They are putting in a new rug and painting the walls currently, looking great.

Bowling. If you use a chair you can get out of shoe rental. They have a few candelpin lanes and a ramp on each end for wheelchair access. Call ahead to get an end lane if you need access. Full bar and pizza shop food. Friday and Saturday are "Rock and bowl" nights with music that's way too loud and black lighting up the ass. Woo!

Fun place to bowl with a variety of side attractions, including laser tag. Overall, the experience is great if you like those activities and enjoy video arcades, but they also have an indoor bumper cars.

The down side is the way they charge. Paying for time on a lane rather than strings can lead to an unfinished or rushed game. This can make the end of a game feel unfulfilling rather than high energy. Further, with the excessive lane breakdowns, you cant help but stand there waiting and think about how much it cost to wait on a technician after the 3rd time calling for an attendant. The laser tag is a pay for a timed game rather than a pay for a block of time, so the first game you spend most of your time figuring out the course.

Overall, the experience is good, and it is worth coming here. Planning your time when you are there is important, but not necessary. I would give it 5 stars if the lanes were more reliable and the pay model was more standard.

good deal on Tuesdays, but last time we went we were forced to leave after the 5th frame of a game we had already paid for. They didn't give us a warning, our lanes were just shut off at 8:30 so a reservation could take over.

Ever since they started caring more about casino and less about bowling, has started to go downhill. Yes they upgraded to kiosks, but you can't even request more games, food or.anything else from them like you can at bowlarama in Portsmouth. But the renovations in the arcade area are horrible, the bathrooms are still horrible. Games don't work, change machines don't work. This isn't the first time I've been back since the changes. Prob not coming back. Forget it.

Unfortunately there isn't a zero star option because 1 star is generous. On multiple occasions I've gone out of my way to come here for a change of pace and myself and 3 kids were turned away and told the place is all booked and to "make a reservation next time", meanwhile the place is empty. Since then I've called ahead and every time told, don't worry, we're not that busy. Tonight sealed it for me though. Brought the kids solely to play the arcade, frankly the lanes suck, and arrived later than planned due to bad roads. Called while enroute to confirm closing time but when we walked into the arcade the card machines are shut off and no one behind the counter. When the dolt does show up he tells me that the arcade is closed. Without saying a word I just looked around at the packed arcade and before I could retort he said, well, the card machines are all shut down (mind you these are self-service, which this whole place should be). I said, I have to bring my own card? To which he replied, well, yeah, we've already "done the drawers" for the night. He could see that I was just a dad with 2 kids there to be entertained, not some drunk college kid (not that there's anything wrong with that) trying to cause problems, but end of conversation.
It's a shame, this place has a ton going for it (even with the creepy, always empty psuedo-casino attached bar), location being one thing, but the service continues to purely suck. The only reason I ever drove the extra distance was because they're (supposed to be) open an hour later than my local place but never again.
*Footnote ~ the guys who run the food area are always very nice, laid back, and really put the other guys in the building to shame when it comes to customer service.

it is fun to go out and have a good time bowling but it seems every time we go to dover bowl there are issues---1 issue is dirty alleys ---2 is always problems with the scoreboard and the gate getting stuck---3 the balls not returning -- all these issues take a lot of time away from bowling. the last few visits we have had issues with getting candlepin alleys. don't know if there might be a little favoritism happening there.-------------my recommendation is go somewhere else

A bunch of venues smashed into a bowling alley... which may or not be a bad thing.

They obviously offer bowling. There's a bar with karaoke in a separate, partitioned room (closed off with a glass door). They have a small bumper car area that's a good bit of fun, albeit a little expensive per ride ($5 for about 10 minutes, if I remember right). There's a moderately-sized arcade area full of flashy lights, a virtual ride for two, skeeball, and the usual trope of old and new games. All use the newer card system for credit. There's also a laser tag arena, which is a lot of fun with an awesome 90s introduction video bedded with The Chemical Brothers. =p

The bowling itself is standard, although I'm not much of a bowler. They offer candlepin and the normal game and even have rails and a ramp for younger bowlers. Shoes are always in decent shape.

They offer pizza and other easy, cheap food so bowling balls can glide out of your hands easier. You can also choose to host parties here... I've been to a few and hosted one myself. (For whichever package you choose, they have a small hosting area as well as provide your food, utensils, and cleanup.)

The food here is not that great... I wouldn't recommend it on that alone, but it's not absolutely terrible. The pizza has a sweeter sauce to it, if that suits your fancy. (Doesn't bother me.)

It can get kind of crowded, but that may attest to it being good.

All of this is smashed into Dover Bowl. And if you like any of this stuff and have a decent amount of pocket change (as everything altogether can get a bit pricey), I recommend it.
