Staffs were friendly and welcoming. Cozy room and it was clean. The bed was comfy and I was able to have a good night sleep. The location was great. My stay here was good too.

Rooms are big service is great and there's an open mall within walking distance of hotel. There's a Jamison steak house connected to hotel which by the way us very tasty!!!
The location could not be better if you're an avid shopper or foodie. The hotel is right near Old Orchard Mall. Lots of fine retailers for people with different budgets. For food, Jameson's is attached to the hotel with a convenient entrance near the lobby. There are many chain restaurants within walking distance also. There's a Portillo's that would take you 5 minutes to walk too. I highly recommend that as well! The rooms are very nice. Our room didn't have a table, only a desk against the wall. Good sized TV and a normal-sized bathroom. Very well cleaned. The service wasn't the best I've ever seen. We were told check-in was at 3 pm, and arrived at 3 pm to find out none of our rooms were ready yet. Not a big deal. We had 3 rooms total next to each other (2 connected via door). About 5 minutes later, we were told 2 of the rooms were ready. About 20 minutes later, thebest3rd room was ready. They also had a pack-n-play for my nephew, which was really awesome! The pool area is nice and spacious. The pool itself seemed kind of small for such a large hotel. It has a glass wall that acts as a barrier to the outside portion of the pool. You can swim underneath that barrier to get outside. The outside portion seemed smaller than the inside portion. It was a nice environment though. I recommend this hotel.
Hotel room was ok, clean and comfortable. Had a roof leak outside of my door (which came inside the room), asked to switch rooms, twice. The ceiling had black mold. No calls were returned nor was a room switch offered. This was outside of my door and their was also water in the corner of my closet after it rained.
Great service. Clean rooms. Plenty of shopping around the area
Hotel was fantastic! Everything from the room, the service, to the location was perfect. Great option for a cheaper budget when looking to be close to the city or Evanston, worked out great for our weekend trip. Will definitely stay here again!
Watch your credit card, they always charge you $6.00 for bottle water that were never used. Stayed there in October18/April19...both times, I need to call to tell them! Ridiculous!!!!
The rooms are plain but clean. The service and amenities set this place apart with a wine happy hour Monday through Wednesday, a nice restaurant in the hotel and, of course, the complimentary chocolate chip cookie!
Attended an event in the ballroom. View is great, food was decent.
Had to request to change the room that gave us because of horrible odor. But overall it was okay staying for 3days. Convenient location
Great hotel. Comfortable, nice beds, large rooms, close to Old Orchard Mall and the restaurant in the first level serves really tasty food. If you want to eat some place else you have the Ihop at the other side of the street, or more options at the mall, like buffalo wild wings, the cheese cake factory, Maggianos and Roka akor. Also a CMX Dine in Movie theater.
Very friendly staff, super clean rooms. I loved it for the price that I paid.
Came here for a work event. The breakfast and dinner were very good.
Busy, bathroom was dirty. Close to shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly
This hotel has been in existence as long as I can remember, but has been upgraded several times. It is In a very convenient location, right next to North Shore Center for the Performing Arts and a block away from Old Orchard Mall, with a lot of nearby restaurants and shops, which makes it very convenient if you don t have a car. It offers free parking and free buffet breakfast. It is the perfect venue for small concerts, weddings and business conferences. The staff (from front desk to maintenance to housekeeping) are very professional, friendly and courteous. Their well appointed presidential suite, with two adjoining rooms, one with two queen beds and one with a king bed, and a large parlor in between has always been my favorite as it allows me to have private meetings, lunches and dinners, and you don t have to break the bank to book it. Looking forward to my next stay.
The DoubleTree hotel is in a wonderful location, with easy access to surrounding malls and businesses, however there small parking lot leaves a little to be desired, especially in the cold months. The inside lobby and amenities are all beautiful, and up to date, and the furniture in the rooms look new, but the room stilling (wallpaper, shower head, and heating/cooling fan) seems dated. The bathrooms are remodeled, the beds are soft, and there's a restaurant in the adjacent building so you can't want for much more.
Clean, relatively quiet (there was a Bar Mitzvah 2 floors above us, could hear the music till 11:30 pm), but was very convenient to the performing arts center for the Sat night concert. Would definitely stay again.
Nice banquet facilities, other than the fact it's in the basement where you get zero cell service.
Great. Was an older building but was a very nice stay and has been updated
All people are very friendly. Room is very clean. Check in cookie is very delicious.
The shower was pretty low water pressure. But that's my only gripe with the hotel. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Easy to find from the airport.
Clean, not very expensive comparing to other nearby hotels
Great hotel, fun indoor/outdoor pool. Great location.
Seamless checkin and they gave me chocolate chip cookies! A great start to say the least. Room is clean, but they need to enable the bathroom suction vent to pull out the hot steam from showers. Very nice, professional and courteous staff.
Great indoor/outdoor pool great staff members and they are always kind
One of my friends I grew up with had her 50th birthday party here. There were cheerleading there were lip syncingand lots of dancing. Connecting with old friends. Cheers
The lobby is lovely and the people friendly but the room carpet had fingernail clippings and peanut husks on it. Not really what I was expecting for a Hilton.
Went to the steak House with the family. We had a big party and they served us well. No major issues, and the food was pretty good.
Stayed in a great room great bar and restaurant live the staff
Very nice on the inside. Customer service is exceptional.
Rooms ok, but I don't want to use Wi-Fi and Hilton jams data
I've personally have been to this location many times. Always had great service and rooms were always clean. Went there for Father's day Breakfast buffet and it was pretty good. OJ was included.
Was at a fair here and was able to use several conference rooms and the lobby. News were met with excellence
Very clean, relaxing. Excellent service and awesome beds
The room are so small and it's not worth the price. There was a huge party in the upper level and the noise level was extremely high. Drunk people walking around the hall and screaming. Poor security.
Good price, great breakfast, great people.Bed is very comfortable. Everything else is perfect. Highly recommend this location to any guest
Quite comfortable and reasonably priced. The location right across from the mall is great and convenient if you forgot a shirt or something. Good restaurant attached, but it closes at 11 and there's no late night option to get a drink and sit with people other than the lobby. Maybe more a limitation by Skokie than the hotel per se.
If front desk were a bit more considerate, they would have got two stars but I was being generous. It s raining, had us waiting and still WAITING for a room that was been reserved for close to 3 hours. After driving 14 hours, I just want a bed like seriously. Very inconsiderate and was not even offered water for our longgggg wait. Will never return here again.
Good rates, clean rooms. Far from trains though, so you'll need a rental car or taxi to get around.
Nice room, friendly staff, great price for the area
Loved their welcome cookies. But other than that, the room felt old and worn. Person at the front desk was somewhat rude (probably due to the late hour) and shouted directions at us as we tried to find the elevators.
The staff was awesome and deserved 5 stars, but they don't have toothbrushes in the rooms. I am sure that if I called down they would have brought one right up, but it's nice to have a few things in the room. The breakfast was nice, but they do have waitresses so you can't get your own coffee or water. I was not expecting this at a buffet, but the staff stayed on top of things even when it was busy.
Avoid second floor. A lot of mechanical noise from cooling system for building, not room . Episodes of loud talking in hallway and elevator late at night, I think courtesy rooms near by( saturday night.
Room was clean, modern, and comfortable.
Parking was inadequate, forced to park at nearby structure
Bahais here for the National Spiritual Assembly election. Very kind and caring staff. Went out of their way to show us to our room. And gave us a great cookie!
Excellent service, clean rooms, personal note, food, beverages in room, comfortable bed and cooled rooms upon arrival.
We had our Family Reunion at this hotel and it was perfect. They hosted multiple events the same weekend without issue, and the staff was always GREAT!
I probably stayed here a number of times but first as Double Tree. Still good and very convenient for personal needs. Apart from O'hare, everything is close. Access to a restaurant via lobby.
I went to an event here. The food was tasty and the portions were just right.
I stayed here for 3 nights my room and the bathroom were so clean and nice
I was there for a professional event and the signage to find the room was less than spectacular. I asked an employee on my way oh, if I was headed in the right direction, and she said she had no idea where the room was.
Clean, good showers. Need more USB ports. Free breakfast was weak.
Great hotel across from outdoor mall, amazing indoor pool, clean and nice
We were there for a wedding. The hotel was nice and we'll kept. We stopped at the hotel bar for drinks before hand and they were awesome.
After attending a work event here, I'd highly recommend using this hotel.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. They allowed us to check in early with no additional fee. The parking was free and room was adequate. Also after being on the road in heavy traffic the free cookies were amazing.
Very nice hotel just north of Chicago. Very pleasant front desk personnel who got us checked in right away. Clean rooms. Close drive to great restaurants and trains into the city. Would definitely stay here again.
Staff is very friendly. Services offered range in felixbiltiy.
It was very spacious, very organized as well as the employees were very hospitable.
I attended an event at the Monaco Room. The room is beautiful and the views are stunning. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The banquet food, on the other hand, needs A LOT of work. The proteins were dry and lacking flavor and the mashed potatoes were most likely rehydrated potato flakes.
Great staff, clean, wonderful restaurant in the hotel. They offer you a free warm delicious cookie at check in. I love it. Highly recommended.
Nice hotel at a great rate. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a good location close to restaurants.
Hotel good.... Restaurant was a Sunday morning let down. Seems they use a different "priced" menu on Sundays. Does NOT agree with prices posted in info provided in room.
I had the pleasure of working for this company & I hope to again if given the opportunity.
Very nice hotel to stay in but bathrooms are very small in rooms one person at a time

Cookies are great, hotel is pretty, and service is good. But the shower leaked and my floor is drenched.
