Front desk was very helpful with my stay, the rooms were very spacious, clean and well maintained. The lounge had a great variety of fruits and coffee options. Convention center was also nice and relatively easy to access. Would recommend this hotel to friends and family.
The service was spectacular. I went to sleep with horrible neck pain from our plane ride. The hotel pillows were so great, I woke up pain-free. The staff was phenomenal at accommodating a large number of guests from delayed plane rides. Always smiling! Can't say enough about this place!

This is a good hotel close to the airport. Amenities include restaurants, convenience stores, fitness center with a half court basketball court, hot chocolate chip cookies on registration and three types of fruit flavored water in the lobby. The staff are courteous and efficient especially Phoebe who is a gem. There are signs that the hotel is showing its age, well maintained overall but a touch shoddy. Our room had a shower that dripped and a sink drain that was slow to drain. In all a good experience.

Overcrowded hotel with little attention to the details.
The first room I was given smelled like smoke. They have a basket court but no basketballs.
At the breakfast, the first jam I picked was empty! The lounge at the 7th floor is supposed to be open at 6am but it still was closed at 6:30 when I tried to enter.
Overall the place is clean enough and quiet but the details are important..

Went there to attend the Paradise City Comic Con show. The parking is bit pricey but to be expected for a large event. The venue is nicely kept and the staff is friendly.
Very unclean! Had to switch rooms and it was still bad. Soap residue I the shower and used soap at the sink. Requested a fridge and microwave be put in the room which did come quickly but the microwave was dirty. Feels like I'm at the motel 8. Not quite but I'm definitely will not be coming back!
A good hotel to rest and close to the Miami airport
Had to stay because our flight got cancelled, we were offered a complimentary night provided by the airline. We were impressed with the quality of the hotel. I cannot comment on the value due to it being free, but we were very comfortable and were well rested for the next day. The continental breakfast price was pricey so we skipped.
Just arrived from the longest flight and my room, which was supposed to be available yesterday, more than 15 hours ago, is not ready.
Wife had surgery and is waiting in the lobby for housekeeping to be ready. Baby is tired and crying.

Shuttle from the airport to the hotel are inconvinient, take too long before it arrives. Horrible because were tired for a 23hrs flight and its like this.

Not so good. This hotel is badly in need of quality control. The best aspect of my experience here is that the staff I dealt with were generally nice and tried to be helpful. But being nice cannot make up for the poor amenities and services. The restaurant really screwed up. I ordered a horseradish mustard salmon with Yukon mashed potatoes and they gave me salmon smothered in BBQ sauce with rice. When I said it was not right the manager brought it back and then came back to me with the same dish, but with a scoop of tasteless mashed potatoes plopped in a bowl and stuck on the plate. Manager said the chef said it's the same dish that's on the menu, when it clearly was not, so the chef was either lying or doesn't know the menu. Sent it back. At least the manager tried hard to make up for it and they didn't charge me. The king room is spacious, but has ugly, dated decor. My room's closet has damaged shelving and dust bunnies in it. View of an ugly roof. Noisey AC fan. The coffee machine didn't work and no one did anything about that. Slow room service and the guy forgot a bottle opener, and then it took him 20 minutes to come back with it. He was aplogetic and a nice guy, but again, courtesy needs to go with good service. Good workout facility and nice pool, but the hot tub was cold. Convenient location for airport, but that's about it. If you want a nice, clean up-to-date room, wih good service and quality amenities, stay elsewhere
We have our yearly church conventions here and always a pleasure to stay there. This place always remains clean and they even hand you a really good cookie at the service desk.
The service was the worst that I ever experienced at a hotel to this day, I mean that in ever aspect.the room were dated shower head was green and rusted I didn't want to shower. I order from the restaurant down stairs the food not eatable, I mean you couldn't make this up, it was that bad
I was here for the Miami Antique, Art and Design show. The convocation center has been a popular place for shows and conferences. They charge $5 parking. It was very clean and organized. Once inside they had cash bars in different places and the staff was very attentive. As for the show, it was very interesting and we loved getting to know so many people from around the country including Canada and London. A very fashion and elegant experience.
It was a great venue for professional events but my only qualm is that I wish it had more vending machines for patrons who are there for extended time.

It's got kind of a maze feel... Not all stores are listed in the shop's directory. Not an easy place to "navigate" through, at least not for the first time.

Nice hotel, big bedrooms with decent size bathroom. The breakfast is very good with a wise choice. Lovely little swimming pool, pity that there is no bar around it.

A centennial place. But with many changes in its stores and new offers. They have hairdressing salon and others. It goes well. I recommend it to you.

Service and accommodation are excellent! The location is not very good, as it is far from Downtown and Miami Beach, but for those who are going to rent a car, this will not be a problem.
Positives: service, accommodation, free WiFi in the room, cleaning, doubletree cookies!
Negative points: location far from the center, paid parking (7 dollars a day), no minibar inside the room.
Call to reserve and enter all my card details and then the call was disconnected and they had no solution call and call and did not answer bad service
I have gone to a few conventions like retro con and once to a Columbian festival. It's a nice place to experience small conventions.
Convention rooms were ok. The staff checkimg in was unorganized and had no control.
Not a good experience. Hotel is outdated and there is a serious issue with mildew in the rooms. In addition, water in the shower/bathtub took forever to drain. there was no maintenance available until the next morning at 7 am. I don't recommend staying at this Hotel.
Called hilton central reservations 01/09 about 11pm spoke to 1st agent who kept getting caught in a lie in regards to what prices she actually see online for a price match although we both are supposively on line after having me to refresh and start over several times only to say well I have to see it on my side and my screen is not giving me the price your getting 2nd agent after 1st supervisor hung up on me and never called back as a courtesy Brenda (agent) state she can provide her supervisor name that advised her not to price match because the honors rate is cheaper then the standard rate online (after she quoted me the online rate of $169 online and the rate Priceline offered was $162). per the chat agent Hilton price match as long as room type cancellation policy was the same which it was. Spoke with Lenny (supervisor) whom explained the honors program stating you have to be a honors members to price match time to find this info out 2 hours.. smh sad for the rates charged

Amazing staff, i was visiting a friend about two months ago, it was an incredible experience , fruit platter by miss Charline Guerrier looks amazing, and the fruit plate that was sent to my room made by Zulema Zamora was incredible, I will definitely refer family and friends there. Amazing!
Went to an antique show at the convention center, grounds were clean and staff was friendly. Mall not worth going to- flea market like clothing.

The roof was leaking in the room I got. They moved me to another room but that was leaking as well. I just slept through the night and hurried and got out of there. When I woke up and took a shower the bathroom drain was clogged. The food here is decent and they have a few amenities like a swimming pool but the rooms need some considerable work.

Very comfortable hotel with courteous staff and great amenities. The only negative was that the hot tub was obviously not working - water level less than half and filled with leaves - but no sign indicating that it was not in operation and not cordoned off (seemed a little dangerous, honestly). Also very little in the area for food or drink aside from the bar and restaurant in the hotel - certainly nothing in walking distance. The free shuttle to the airport was a real benefit as well.
I love DoubleTree in general and have stayed at several dozen locations throughout the world. The staff here was uniquely indifferent to the experience of it's guests. Next time I am in Miami, I'll choose a different hotel.
Hotel had a blood stain in the bedding and lots of hair in the bathroom, stayed 1 night due to a cancellation on my flight when I spoke to manager they only said I'm sorry and could not do anything because hotel was paid by Airline.. wow would not stay in this hotel anyways ever again..
