Friendly staff but old rooms. Don't get the top floor, very noisy by motors are just above for the central vent system. Impossible to sleep.
.....
After feedback from Hotel and review again, it's fair to say that the room was nice and if we would have had not the top floor, the review would be much better. I changed my review looking back.

Clean rooms, great customer service. Bathroom was clean but not laid out very well. Toilet was tight against the shower and awkward to reach the toilet paper. Also had an outlet partly coming away from the wall.

Every other hotel in the world provides adequate towels yet this hotel only provides 1 wash cloth per room and sometimes only 1 hand towel. Plus my sink drain was unscrewed from the plug and just left in the sink. Your housecleaning staff need advisement and honestly, the rooms need more towels. The good things of this hotel is the friendly front desk staff and great breakfast buffet. But please fix the housekeeping issues.

I love the location and friendliness of the staff. Omg they give a warm cookie thats to die for. I stay here every week for work. I also loved the gravy for breakfast and the swimming pool.

Update :my last 2 stays wasn't so good. Each time the air conditioning didn't work. This last visit they ended up moving me at 1 am because it was literally 84 degrees in my room.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms, lobby and staff were great! The only complaint I have is the air conditioner was very loud. Self-parking for $8 a night was a plus. Verses all other hotels charging $40 + a night. The location was also perfect, was not too far from the city of New Orleans, and great food spots in the surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again!

Really nice hotel close to the airport and on the outskirts of NOLA. Clean, spacious and up to date rooms for a really affordable price. Ten dollar parking is a good price too but there's a few self parking spots as well. Nice pool area and good breakfast and room service menu. We'll definitely be staying here when we want to be in NOLA bit not in the French Quarter.

Hotel close to New Orleans Airport with very nice rooms. The staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms definitely need renovation and the water pressure leaves a lot to be desired. The air conditioning units are a bit old and can be a bit drafty around the unit but they work well so you can get the room freezing or hot quickly. Good hotel if you need some place close by the airport that provides a free shuttle. The wifi is most definitely slow.

My goodness, we love this hotel! It's close enough to everything that you feel involved but far enough away that you still feel as though you're vacationing. The room was immaculate and the staff was friendly, helpful and engaging. Although the television is a bit small compared to the room's size, we quickly made this our favorite lodging spot whenever we visit. Cesar was absolutely great!

Mediocre at best. Dated, dingy, maybe even a bit creepy. Musty smell in the hallways. It would do in a pinch but not as a first choice. The curtains in the room were totally worthless. Once the sun comes up it was bright as daylight even with them shut. I can only assume that the people who wrote the 5 star reviews must have never stayed in a nice hotel.

I stay at Hilton brand hotels all the time. Lets just say this one needs alot of work, not only do the rooms need updating but the personnel need to understand what customer service is.

Aside from the room that is in need of updating (that costs 179.00 per night), my wife has a allergy to down, so we called the front desk to get a regular pillow. It took 45 min and 3 calls each time it was "you mean the haven't come up yet". Then when we woke up, we needed to take a shower there was absolutely zero water pressure. I called the front desk to inform them of the water issue and they stated it was the entire town of Keener and there is nothing they can do. Don't stay here!

Good news is that hopefully they are starting to remodel lobby, because maybe the rooms are next? the rooms are horrible. Extremely old rooms with worn chairs and furniture with black stained calk in old tiles in bathroom. Entire hotel and rooms are damp and smell like mold or dirty socks. I had to change rooms because upon entering room, the entire carpet was soaking wet, just totally gross. Old beds, worn flat old pillows. I'm shocked that this property can still display the franchise name of Doubletree, it is by far the worst Doubletree I have ever stayed in.

I asked for a sewing kit and was told they did not have any but the next day I got one from the front desk. I could not reach the front desk after letting it ring for a few minutes. The cookies were good. The double beds and bathroom were smaller than expected.

In a busy part of town, directly across from the airport. Front parking is sort of small but decent for initial check-in. Ana, the manager, is a gem. She's very polite and is customer service focused. There are some good restaurants in walkable distance. They recycle and practice sustainable cleaning. You get a warm chocolate chip (and walnut, so avoid if you have nut allergies) cookie upon check-in. A full breakfast buffet is available but it's about $16 per person if you don't have vouchers. There's a pool and tiki bar but it was too cool to use during our stay. I'd recommend, especially if you have a coupon.

I just don t understand what is up with this location. I stay here often and they are all over the place with the service and room conditions they provide. I m often given a room with a/c that doesn t work, or a tv that won t turn on, and tonight the floor in my room is soaking wet. It s obviously just been cleaned, but who ever cleaned it didn t do the job right. When ever you call their airport shuttle service you often wait upwards of 45mins for them to turn up (the hotel is literally 4mins away) The front desk personnel are always hesitant to give out the cookies, which makes no sense! I really feel like they could be so much more at this location, but they really aren t reaching their full potential!!

The staff was great but the rooms have not been updated and are very small. The bathroom was extremely small. The bed was uncomfortable plus all plugs for charging devices were across the room.

Great location for the early run to the airport. The staff is nice and there are plenty of food choices close by. However the rooms are a dated and the rooms can be a bit noisy. The vans to the airport run every 30 minutes.

Update 1/21/2020
Same remark was sent to Hilton for record. Customer representative agent input my comment and logged it as Guest Assistance complaint. Hotel manager reached out immediately the following morning to follow up, though I have checked out since it was an overnight stay. I was credited with HH points by manager. Appreciate the follow up to address the issue.

not to to bad!! staff was extremely nice! and the room was clean. but the rooms are very small and the biggest sized bed they have is double, we wanted to book queen beds, but it is close to the airport which is good besides the noisy planes, no hot water for showers, all cold, small and old rooms, broken smoke alarms, only 1 coffee cup
