I've stayed here the last four or five times I've been in L.A. and I absolutely love it. I've gone to events at the coliseum, the shrine, the palladium, and the L.A. historic park. it's such a great location and the staff is amazing. not to mention the rooms are super clean and very, very nice, as well as affordable when you book in advance. and it's way better than it was as the kyoto grand.

A nice hotel in a quiet area of downtown. Nice, clean, and functional. Room was large. Very good breakfast, which is included for Hilton Honors members. An easy and seemingly safe 30 minute walk to Dodger Stadium. A $20 Uber to West Hollywood. Would stay again!

The room was what we expected. We were on the fourth floor so didn't have much of a view, but the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed having the light rail just a few blocks away. The bell captain was especially kind and informative.

Room was very nice and everyone was EXTREMELY helpful and super nice. They made my stay a great one. Definitely will recommend to others. The Japanese garden is beautiful! Great place for a wedding.

Quick get away overnight to the city of Angeles. I was able to use my Hilton points which brought our total down considerably.
The hotel was centrally located. They off self parking or valet parking. They have insight bar and restaurant. Room was a decent size with a decent view. We were on the 19th floor.
They have an Asian garden which was pretty nice. Decor was modern, room clean, noise level what you would expect being in a downtown metropolis.
I would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful.

Side note: the cookies at check in are heavenly.

Pros: welcoming open space lobby, immaculate cleanliness, friendly front desk staff, (very small) cozy and comfortable room.

Cons: Gotcha! Parking rates trap ($35 self / $42 valet), limited parking space due to the fact that a good portion of the spots are reserved for the valet on all (subterranean) floors, tiny bathroom, dirty AC ducts, mold in the boardrooms.

Bottom line: parking rates in DT LA are a municipal plague, 25% of the room rate is wasted on parking fees, not for asthmatics.

I went to an event for professionals in my field. The lobby is very comfortable to rest and take a break before the event. The convention room and the coffee, water and refreshments service was very rich definitely a great place for events.

Stayed five nights for Anime Expo. I relished the hotel experience. The check in staff are very nice and willing to lend you a black umbrella upon request which I used to try to stay cooler in the record breaking heat. The rooms felt well kept up and housekeeping refreshed the rooms wonderfully every night. I caught the turn down service the first night and got champagne gummy bears.

Love this hotel, got married here a year ago, great service, and nice people. The rooms are nice, the garden is beautiful. Walking distance to little Tokyo, but also easily accessible to the rest of Downtown.

I was left with my jaw hanging when I looked at the enormity of the structure. It spanned the length equivalent to ten houses in my district. As we were nearing the entry, I felt a gush of cold air coming from inside. Not being very used to air-conditioning, it was a new experience for me. My aunt told me that she would buy new clothes and a bag for me. There was a huge crowd inside the mall and loud music played. At one particular corner, there was a music event in progress.

Shopping At the Mall:

We entered one of the stores inside the mall and I was astounded to find so many varieties of clothes at the same place. It looked so colourful from a distance. We went from one rack to another looking through t-shirts and jeans. My aunt bought me a pair of jeans and t-shirts. I had never seen the usage of an ATM card before.

Everything was a new experience for me and I was elated the entire time. We then visited a shoe store because even my aunt had to buy new shoes for herself. She couldn t find her preference in that store. We then visited almost ten different stores. After getting the shoes we went to have lunch.

Lunch at Shopping Mall:

The eateries at the mall were all big and enticing. Food items ranging from burgers, sandwiches, pizzas to Indian, Chinese, continental, etc. were available. My aunt took me to a Chinese eatery where she ordered haka noodles and ginger chicken. It tasted delicious, better than any other fast food I had before. We then had ice-cream for dessert.

I was in ballroom B as part of a professional training. The space was clean, staff were professional, and they provided complementary refreshments. Parking was a bit expensive, bit not unexpected for downtown LA, $10 with validation.

Nice place although very expensive for the services offered there is no pool, or continental breakfast, and the Wi-Fi is questionable. However the clean rooms, in building gift shop/convenience store, and customer service make up for those things you'd expect from a hotel that they're missing overall I'd return here if and when I come back to the area.

Very welcoming staff, very nice amenities, the rooms are super clean, but it is Hilton so it is expected. Anytime we travel up to LA for the day we stay here for the evening. Lots to do around this area also.

The food was so good! Really tasty and did not take a long time to come out. I really enjoyed the potatos that came with my omelet and the pancakes from my boyfriends Line Breakfast were sooOOOooOo good. The texture was a nice firm pancake texture!

Great Customer Service, Front desk is very polite and always willingly to help. Breakfast dnung restaurant is small, variety is limited, waiter and waitress are not attending to you, very average service. Hotel is old, facilities are old. Rating will be lower if there isn't any people orientated front desk.

Hotel and staff were great. They have a nice bar inside. There is also a rooftop garden but it was reserved for a wedding the night we stayed. It is located in Little Tokyo. Nightlife within walking distance was slightly limited, but there were several authentic Japanese restaurants close. Was about 10 minutes taxi ride to the Staples Center. I would rate the standard room slightly above average.
