To date, my various experiences with NY Radiology have been flawless. Today there was a wait of one hour and ten minutes. Since they had my contact information, a phone call alerting me of the delay would have been appreciated. Once with the tech and doctor,, I felt like I was in patient centric, good hands.

I was just sent this text after my appointment: "Hi, Jennifer! Thank you for choosing New York Radiology Partners | Columbus Circle Imaging . Can you take 30 seconds and leave us a quick review? The link below makes it easy...
So here are my 60 seconds, because this one deserves the time to share. It was a terrible experience.
Honest to god, after waiting an extra 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment for an MRI on the Lower Level, I was ultimately told afterward The woman before you was 80 years old, she ran late. You should find her and PUNCH HER IN THE FACE. by my TECHNICIAN. I was so thrown off, so I asked him to repeat himself, hoping I heard wrong. No... sadly, I didn t. He said it again Yes, you should find her and punch her in her face. Standing there, completely numb after my MRI and most definitely his words, I asked why on earth would he EVER SUGGEST that I punch another patient or even ever SAY those words in general. These words were said by my technician!? Then, he tried to tell me my appointment was 15 minutes later, when it wasn't? And as if that was going to help him? Why bring up either? Was I complaining? No. I questioned the front desk once, 45 minutes into my scheduled time, which is when he walked out for me. In my mind this guy must be some type of psychopath to say such words and then try to tell me my appointment was only running 30 minutes behind schedule? What's the point and how does that help anything? But "Yeah, punch her in her face." I'm appalled and disgusted.
The remaining staff were wonderful, and the manager had already left for the day but I'll be calling tomorrow.
For the curious, the technician's name was Nicholas.
The facility was nice and clean, and the staff was very nice and helpful, but the amount of time you had to wait for service was ridiculously long. But I guess because it is in the city that is to be expected! If not for the wait I would give it five stars.
I have been here twice in the last two weeks, and at both experiences the wait time was extraordinarily long. The first time the whole timeframe was two hours for a mammogram and sonogram(I was told it would take 45 min). The second time, for only a sonogram, I waited 40 min just to be taken back, and then another HOUR to be seen by the sonogram tech (when I tried to grab one of the techs to ask them, she basically shrugged and said I just take the next on my list ). By the time I left I had been there well over two hours. No one apologized for the wait, no one told patients what was going on. I make an effort to be on time, the same courtesy should be given to the patients. It s very challenging to plan your day when you are at an appointment hours beyond the original appointment time. I would suggest the office send out a questionnaire about patient s experience to better understand their needs and concerns. Many offices do this now, in fact I usually receive a questionnaire about a day later from other offices I visit.
A couple of people who work there are friendly. (I single out Pat the nurse as one of these people). But most are perfunctorily doing their job. It would be nice to get a little kindness and empathy, especially when many of the women here are having sensitive tests done. It doesn t take much effort but it makes a big difference.
It s also freezing in the back waiting rooms and exam rooms, and you know, most everyone is having breast exams of some sort so we were all sitting there shivering in our gowns.
Everything ran pretty smoothly. I have been going to West Side Radiology for years. My technicians are usually lovely but the one this year was a little tougher and less kind than usual, but the machine didn t sqush as much as it normally does. Maybe that has to do with the new 3D technology.
I was able to get a last minute appointment to fit my schedule. From the person who took my request to the gentleman who performed my MRI, everyone was super helpful.
Howard was wonderful - so kind and professional. He completely put me at ease in a nerve-wracking situation. The entire staff was courteous and helpful, and even got me in early! When does that happen? Highly recommend.
it took half an hour just to make an appointment. then i waited an hour and a half in the waiting room on the day of the appointment (actually, still waiting as i write this). not sure how the service is, bc i can t get in to find out.
Incredibly fast and organized Office. There were a lot of people in the waiting room which made me nervous it d be a long wait. I was called 2 minutes after putting my name on the list - and seen by the radiologist shortly after filling out a form (as a new patient). Would happily go back if I needed to.
I was about 25 minutes early (appointment time: 9:30 am) and they took me right away. The first young woman I encountered was polite and courteous. After giving her my papers and information and as I was taking my seat, the radiologist called me. It happened so quickly. The radiologist was pleasant and told me what to expect during the ultrasound; even the gel was warm! What a NICE surprise! I work downtown and was in my office at 10 am! It was a very pleasant and efficient experience. Thank you! Happy Holidays!
Everyone was helpful and polite. Even though it was VERY busy as I imagine it always is. X-ray-ist was quick, professional and very nice. And I just had an MRI there. Again: efficient, kind, professional. Fast today too.
I have had extreme pain in my left breast for quite some time, i had been here before and had to leave because the mammogram was so painful, made myself come back and got Dominique...she was so nice, gentle and made it so easy, she genuinely cares and it shows!! Thank You Dominique for making this easy for me!!!!!
All the staff were pleasant and professional. I question why patients were not alerted to the hour+-long wait. The subway has this figured out. The result is that patients feel like a minor concern by management.
Staff was courteous, professional and knowledable about procedures. Mary (the MRI tech) was incredibly friendly, polite and reassuring while I had my MRI done. I would definitely recommend this location.
Amazing. My appointment started on time. When does that ever happen ? The staff were quick and efficient. The facility was clean and welcoming. Highly recommended.
I had an appointment today March 28 with the radiology located 1790 broadway I was amaze by the everyone treat my experience with the radiology staff start by the the front desk agent take her time to fill out the form for me I m sorry I didn t memorize her name to thank her for her kindness her professional skill and the attention she gave me this day and then came a very kind lady who invite me to the relaxation room for blood work etc to get me prepare for a pet scan I just want to thank the whole staff at 1790 Broadway I really really appreciate everything they have done for me as a patient
Worst experience. Where do I even start. I got there at 4 like they asked. I was taken down at 4:40 my appt being at 4:30. I was not taken in until 5:40!!!!! Then I was put into the machine and I'm shivering cold cause I've been sitting in a robe for an hour. Then she positions my arm in a horrible way. And puts a weight on it. Half way through I couldn't feel my fingers as I was losing circulation the pain started shooting up my arm. I had to stop and get out I couldn't finish not even after she took the weight off. Besides when I first checked in the technicians were not helpful or friendly. I will never go back to that location.
Dr. KIM was the best and I highly recommend him especially if you are having a hystiopinglogram (spelling wrong I am sure) procedure in radiology..i have had 2 previous of same procedure at different locations and this location and Dr. Kim and his assitant were beyond great. Thank you!!
This was by far the worst experience I have had. I decided this time not to tell the tech I was a physician. A referring physician. I was treated so roughly and she was down right rude. She grabbed my shoulder very roughly. I have a sore and healing injury on right shoulder. I told her and I got back a flippant, sorry . She pulled my arm so hard. I have had many mammograms and have never experienced anything like this. I really consider not sending my patients there. Plus I waited over 1/2 hour past my apt time and I was very early.
Any testing is nerve wracking!! But from the moment I left the elevator, there was nothing but pure professionalism, courtesy, friendliness and CARING!! Such warmth and knowledgeable on all questions!! From the front desk to techs...EVERYONE WAS EXCELLENT!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL!!
My usual place to have a mammogram had a problem, their machine was down so they called and sent me to this office. Although they were very busy everything moved efficiently. The technician was professional and had me done in minutes.
The staff was very proactive and kind. They helped me to get my prescription from somewhere else patiently and they waited extra time. The open mri machine is amazing...wow
I gave this score because I had a 5:30 appt and waited 45 mins before I was seen. No explanations were provided as to what caused the delay and no apologies
My scan was handled carefully and professionally although there had been an appointment mix-up which was partly my fault and patly the doctor's office. \
The reception area is staffed by friendly and efficient people. Everyone I've dealt with: the nurses (I think they're nurses) in reception, the nurses who've accompanied me to the MRI floor, and the techs who've done the 2 MRIs I've had done here; all have helped ease apprehension and been forthcoming about the procedure.
My check-in process was nice and quick. The front desk staff was friendly and had most of my info filled in for me before I arrived. Everyone observed social distancing guidelines and wore masks. There are seats in the waiting area separated by plastic dividers and the place was very clean. The x-ray technician was friendly and efficient. Overall, my experience was as painless less as can be. I would recommend this facility for x-rays and would return if need be.
Very disorganized. Waited over two hours despite having an appointment. No explanation or notice from the staff regarding the significant delay. Will not be back here for sure. Plenty of better places that honor the appointment time.
I had a 9:30 annual mammogram and sonogram. I got in early and i have to say, my best visit since I've been coming here. I think i was done by 10:00. Everyone from the check in ladies, to both radiologists were professional and courteous. It did not take long to be called. Dominique was very careful and caring in conducting my mammo. She was attentive to my feelings. She also informed me of the 3D machine that I'd be experiencing. I was amazed at how comfortable the exam was. No pain and not several pictures to be taken. Two on one breast and like wise for the other. Dominique escorted me to the sonogram waiting area and as soon as i sat, i was called by LaDonna. She also treated me with care and was professional as well. The gell applied was even warm! Who knew? LaDonna offered wipes to take off the gel afterwards. I was never rushed and i must say, overall, an EXTREMELY pleasant appointment. I was very happy with my visit this year. I will definitely recommend Westside Radiology to my friends and family. Keep up the great work. Look forward to coming next year.
I waited one hour for my appontement. My appointment was for 8:15am, and I was finally called for my mammogram at 9:15am. This length of wait is not acceptable. I had the same experience last year for my annuall screening and am considering trying a different place next year.
The women who administered the mammogram and ultrasound were good.
When it comes to health- trust, competency and expertise is vital. You can rely on Columbus Circle Imaging. In addition - their staff is amiable making an unpleasant proceedure much more acceptable..
Minimal wait time, professional staff & LOVED getting test results upon completion of tests (& promptly)! Such a relief to not head home, worry & wait. Thank you!
The receptionists were well organized and friendly. The technicians who administered the CAT scan were also friendly and very efficient. A top notch facility.
A long wait . Staff seem like they really didnt care about a patient"s comfort, fears, anxiety. Felt like I was grabbed , ordered around and handled like a piece of meatbat the butchers. Felt like I was talked at . My exam seemed like it was a "training' vs caring about me like a person. I would not go back.
When I first arrived, I was extremely scared, nervous, worried, concerned, any and everything was going through my mind as I sat waiting to be called, this nurse named, Mrs. Patricia called my name. Her spirit, her personality was so addictive, that I had to give her a compliment. She made me feel so comfortable, so relaxed. Mrs. Patricia is such an awesome person. Her spirit is incredible. Every patient she called, she made them feel special and welcomed. The entire staff was awesome, respectful, just a real pleasure, but Mrs . Patricia, stood out more. Mrs. Pat Rocks.
Technician, doctor who admin. MRI, was calming, efficient, professional. I was told results show be same day as order was stat. However when I signed in it said wld be avail. 5 days later on 6/23. On 6/23, results said it will be avail. 6/23, But no results were avail.
Everyone there was friendly and caring. The wait time was minimal. They really understand what a stressful situation it is. I really appreciated the care.
Really nice facility. Everyone was friendly and the space was really clean and well decorated. The only thing is that I wish the changing rooms had doors instead or curtains.
Very efficient and everyone was very nice . Facility is clean and there was nearly no wait time. Within 10 minutes of my arrival , they were ready for my test .
They gave me false information about my insurance and appointment time and I wasted an afternoon. Then they made another appointment for me many miles away, and that was fine.
2nd time here all clerical staff members and technicians and that took care of me today we're wonderful, didn't have a long wait after I arrived for my appointment would recommend this place for anyone who needs an ultrasound. This my place for all future exams Keep up the good work!!
I was taken in the back almost immediately. The person taking my mammogram was very thoughtful and gentle. A most unusual experience at other places. I went because they have the 3D imaging. I felt like this place is very professional.
I love that all my former imaging providers are now in one convenient location. Having access to my health records online also makes it very easy to stay on top of annual screenings and tests. The staff is all very polite and they manage to get a busy waiting room full of people in and out in record time! All in all I am pleased with the services provided here.
Great job guys: seamless & super-efficient, even had me start early---5 mins before my apptmt's official time. Enya on headphones, a wider-open design of mri and tech Cesar's attentive help & jovial bedside manner made it a surprisingly calming experience.
Two weeks earlier at another site, I underwent an mri on old-tech, cylindrical-coffin scanner w/ no music/headphones and a loud, jarring jackhammer-soundtrack. Horrible. The difference is rather amazing.
Arrived 15 minutes early for a 10:15 appointment Filled out the forms which took five minutes Then waited two hours to be seen People in the waiting room were very upset The facility was freezing But neat and clean I would not recommend this facility for any person looking for quick prompt and friendly service
Awesome! Very clean facility! Professional environment! Made sure they were on time. They made me feel very comfortable and answered all my questions. I had CT Scan with contrast by injection & fluid . They even tested my blood to see creative levels (kidneys ) were able to handle the dye. The whole procedure took 7 minutes . Drinking contrast you need to be there 2 hours prior .
