Went for a dinner event. Very unique place to have dinner
World class plant science research center. Developing innovations in plant bio-science to benefit mankind - to feed the hungry, to protect the environment and spark the next generation of the science based industry..
Awesome place!!! Tour was super and very informative!!
I ate all of their transgenic crops. Grew a third arm out of my forehead, but it was still better tasting than organic food.
This was a beautiful venue. The building was amazing and the science could be seen all around.
Impressive facility and smart people engaged on our world's agro problems.
Fantastic facilities. Excited to see them expand out the campus more.
Cool architecture, good snacks in conference center.
My boss is Dr. William Danforth, i bring him here for meetings
Everything you could ever want to know about growing a plant.
This place was boring and there was like no hands on activities. Lame.
A great deal of scientific research is performed here. It's a bright & airy building. They have frequent scientific talks for the layman - it isn't at all pretentious.
Went here just to drop off a couple items. The parking is convenient and the campus is clean and beautiful.
Cool modernized architectural research building. Must be cool to werk there.
One of the Premier Plant Sciences facilities in the country!
Great opportunity
here in Saint Louis to add value to plant science ,biodiversity and biotechnology
Attended a public event here for the first time. Very impressive I actually had no idea the facility existed li
This research facility is amazing. I went for the RaspberryPi Jam event they hosted. I loved the various biomes that they have constructed outside the center.
Check out how to donate. Really needed, with the climate change
Very clean. Employees and staff are very friendly and welcoming.
A beautiful setting for a worldly purpose. Keep up the good work.
Came here for a tour with a group. Fantastic information and a lot of fun to see what they're working on. Beautiful area
Nice nature area surrounding the place with paths. Incredibly calming.
The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center is a non-profit research institute located in St. Louis, Missouri. The center was founded in 1998 with the aim of improving the human condition through plant science research. Since then, it has become one of the world's leading institutions for plant science research.
The center's mission is to improve the sustainability and productivity of agriculture by developing new technologies and strategies that can help farmers grow more food with fewer resources. To achieve this goal, the center employs a multidisciplinary approach that combines cutting-edge technology with traditional breeding techniques.
One of the key areas of focus at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center is crop improvement. The center's scientists are working to develop new varieties of crops that are more resistant to pests and diseases, as well as more tolerant to drought and other environmental stresses. By doing so, they hope to increase crop yields and reduce food insecurity around the world.
Another area of focus at the center is bioenergy research. The scientists at Donald Danforth are exploring ways to use plants as a source of renewable energy by developing new biofuels and bioproducts from plant materials.
In addition to its scientific research programs, the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center also offers educational programs for students and teachers at all levels. These programs include internships, workshops, seminars, and other events designed to inspire young people about careers in science.
The Donald Danforth Plant Science Center has an ambitious vision for the future: "to transform agriculture through innovative science." To achieve this vision, they are constantly pushing boundaries in their research efforts while also collaborating with other institutions around the world.
If you're interested in learning more about plant science or want to get involved with cutting-edge agricultural research projects, then be sure to check out what's happening at this amazing institution!
