Dona Sylvia Beach Resort Reviews

Lovely South Goa resort in Cavelossim, close to Mobor Beach. Villas and one storey accommodation available, with 2 pools, lots of greenery and private access to the beach. Good shacks on the beach as well. Popular with European and UK based tourists.

Great food! Loys of options in yhe breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Lot of live stations and we were spolit for choice. Great and quick efficient service and cozy rooms.
Stay was very memorable and coming again soon. Thank you team.

The hospitality is outstanding. Staffs are supportive and friendly. Well maintained. Loved my stay here.

This is a 4 hotel, however, something went wrong with all our 3 rooms!

All the 3 rooms were very basic, nothing to the likes of a 4 star property!

I felt the basic level of cleanness and hygiene was missing- both from the rooms and the hotel itself!

The house keeping was not upto the mark!

The food was very average for the price we paid ( breakfast and lunch buffet both!)

The pathways were not clean.

The steam/ sauna and gym were not working and they had a tie up with next door radisson hotel for it- which we never went Cz we booked a property for its amenities ON the premises and not next door services!

Overall a very heartbreaking stay at Novotel!

Nice hotel.. Best pool. Overall property is superb. Best view at sea facing lawn.
Not so happy with: Not so clean balcony of cottages.

Extremely bad experience. No power, no water etc. Had to switch to different resort after first night

Over all gud property for couple and family. Well maintained, I stay with frnd in hotel all stafs are very friendly and helpful. Amazing place for stay frnds or family. I want beck in hotel again and again...

Had been here for independence Day brunch.. ambience and music is good. Mutton kebabs need improvement, were extremely rubbery.

The villas are too awsum and everything is cool here and too clean and the staff so friendly and hotel has a beach at it's back gate

It s an amazingly feeling to have a resort in touch with nature ! There s also a good staf as well !

Pros:Great property, very close to the sea, amazing staff,I will give 5/5 for hospitality and great breakfast buffet ( complimentary)

Cons: very expensive menu, rent of bicycle (200rs per hour) to roam within the property, rent of pool table ( 200rs per hour again). 200rs per hour for pool table is definitely nominal but I feel that should not be charged in the first place.

Rooms were very nice. Full marks for bathroom. Structure and design is A1. Though the place was still under maintenance we had a great stay. Food served here was delicious. Swimming pool very clean. WiFi was a big problem here. You have to ask for the vouchers from the reception and almost no connectivity in the room. I stayed with my family. My grand parents were very happy staying there . Beach is just 2 mins walk from the resort. Beach is really clean and very few people around so good if you looking for some peace. I would recommend anyone looking to stay in south goa, as at this price this is the best resort.

Lovely place . One should visit if you are in south goa. Heads off to Chef . Mych Santos. So tasty and yummy food.

The property is very scenic and has a lovely beach adjacent. However the service is pathetic. We ordered French fries from room service which never made it and finally after 2 hrs we had to cancel our order. No one answers the phone on the front desk or housekeeping, we needed to check out but since no one was answering the phones we had to drag our own luggage back for check out. I had 2 little kids with me! They are very understaffed. We opted for this hotel because we had good experience at other Novotel properties. Refrigerator in the room wasn t working and I needed to store my medicine, after 5 calls and the trip to front desk someone came to finally replace it. Same with the air conditioning. Very disappointing experience overall!

Amazing resort, location couldn't have been better. You can see the beautiful sea & the mesmorising sun set setting in ur balcony.Rooms are excellent of mediterian style and the excellent housekeeping guys r expert in their job keeping my room highly neat and cleaned with nice flower arrangement & beautiful towel art what we like the most.I like the seagull restaurant & they way they served us & chefs in live counter are very prompt in preparing the dishes for us.Front office staffs r very welcoming & courteous.Overally we enjoyed a lot & wish to come once again.Tkanks a lot team Novotel for making our stay so heart touching.

Very nice ambience. There is a lake/river next to the hotel which makes it more pleasant. The rooms were clean and the hotel has a restaurant too. I visited this place in the month of July and during off season time. Less disturbance. Hotel staff was pleasant and cooperative.
