Dona Sylvia Beach Resort Review

Good Beachfront property. But room ambience does not match it's 5 star rating.

This resort has one of the most cooperative staffs. The property is picturesque and a very attractive pool. The vegetarian food preparation needs improvement as the taste is generally average. Buffet menu has a lot of options available for guests. The beach access is very close to the property and has a super store just opposite to the resort. The water sports options are also very close to the resort. Advance booking is advised.

Very uncomfortable banquet area. Lack of fans. Unbearably hot.
Pool is at the entrance and facing banquet. No privacy. Ridiculous ensemble, someone in formals eating just infront of others in bikini.
Buffet was pathetic. Chicken was hard and dry, Yoghurt was stale and extremely sour, salad and sliced fruits were also stale.

Awesome property. beautifully planned and landscape done excellent. nicely planned rooms. 5 mins walk to beach. tasty food.

We travelled with our one year old kid and I must say their staff did everything possible for our baby to make her feel home. Hospitality industry always has some room for improvement but attitude of the staff is what matters most. And here every member of staff has that helping attitude towards their guests.

Nice resort..calm and cool...lovely cottages...food is above average... Location is superb..

Excellent resort in offseason quieter south Goa. Highly recommended. We went there for a company off-site, so I don't know about the cost, but I would imagine it'd be on the higher side.

I had visited back on March 2015. Had a memorable and wonderful stay. Superb Ambiance plus wonderful succulent Buffet at seagull restaurant! Cherish Those still today even 5 years later.

It was a great experience. Full of fun. Kids enjoyed a lot.

A very good hotel with a private beach and great hospitality. The campus of the hotel is very spacious and the theme of hotel is very good. They host orchestra and dj night with unlimited hard and soft drinks. It has a very good swimming pool and breakfast spread is superb. Will visit this hotel again.

Very poor quality of rooms. There was no AC despite me complaining about it. The sweltering heat with the hot air blowing from the fan was absolutely awful.

If you are tired of hustle and bustle of your busy life then this the best place to relax and unwind yourself in serene place.

I have the best of my memories in this resort.

Dona sylvia is amazing property absolutely on cavelossim beach with some real good shacks.... the landscaping inside is also very good... the evening live performance on terrace can be enjoyed with pool side seating... awesome goan vacation place... one of the best in south goa...and it has a small market across the road for some emergencies...

Lovely property by the sea , far away from the crowded beaches of north

The most ideal place to visit just to like chill in goa. Please plan at least a day to enjoy the activities in the facility. There is also a lot of window shopping areas near by. The beach is just magnificent. Don't miss the island visits.

Good for stay , walking distance of 5 min from the beach or the market. In house restaurant choice to order are limited taste of the food is good .Small Pool in front of the huts. Size of the property is limited to what you see in the pics.

My friends went for their first wedding anniversary at this resort and I wanted to give them a surprise so I contacted their staff. And I am super impressed with their promptness and behavior. I would specifically like to mention about Ms. Gita who is gem of a person and a highly professional staff. The way she coordinated and took care of each and every requirement was commendable. My friends enjoyed their stay at Novotel Goa Dona Sylvia resort. Keep up the good work.

Warm and homely, a home away from home, large property and u can walk right into the beach... Manicured lawns and greenery all around and with goa' 1st premium vegan restaurant, a place to visit for sure... Good food and good prices and efficient staff at the seagull
