I am pretty sure this is the only place I will every buy a Toyota...!! MATT was AMAZING!!! No pressure, super helpful, and negotiated for us! We were very willing to drive from Madison because of the amazing prices and wonderful experience. THANK YOU MATT AND TEAM

This was the only Toyota dealership between the IL state line and Milwaukee that was willing to work with us to find the specific vehicle we wanted. The others all wanted to just sell what they had on the lot regardless of what we wanted. One in Milwaukee didn't know anything about the hybrid model we wanted, the one in Racine was bullying and kept calling me by the wrong name, and the carmax didn't want to find/order any cars. Patrick Murray spent hours working with us to find our car and he spent another hour going over the newer tech in the vehicle and how best to use it. This was outstanding service!

Excellent customer service! My car died on the way to DJT to have my battery checked out. It turned out to be a larger issue than I had anticipated, but Jonathan kept me fully informed with every step along the way and was genuine and kind in his approach. It turned out that in addition to the issues causing my car to stall, the towing company accidentally damaged the tie rod, leaving me with yet another unexpected worry and cost. Jonathan went above and beyond and helped with the process of working with the towing company to correct the problem. Thankfully all turned out well. Thanks for everything!

After having a really terrible experience at another local dealership, we ended up at Don Jacobs Toyota to look at a 2019 Camry Hybrid. Our salesperson was Matt and he was great. Unlike the other dealership, he was not pushy at all, we never felt pressured and they do not use old-school car dealership scare tactics to bully you into buying a car.

We arrived at the dealership at about 3:15, and with it being Memorial Day they were closing at 5 PM. Matt was able to find the car we wanted right away and within about 5-10 minutes of walking in the door we were already test driving the vehicle. While we were test driving he had someone evaluate our trade, which again was much better customer service than we received at the other dealership where we wasted a lot of time! The trade evaluation was more then fair, they went above and beyond for us because they wanted to earn our business. Again, this is in direct contrast to the other dealership we visited that day. They also gave us a very fair price on the vehicle itself, irrespective of the trade value.

When we talked numbers, Matt was very honest with us about the options, and whether it made more sense to take the Toyota cash rebate or the special financing. We decided to go with the financing, which by the way was 0.9% APR which is a great deal. The credit application took only a few minutes and then we got approved right away. We only waited a few minutes for the finance person to have the paperwork ready, and the whole process was just very quick and smooth, including getting new plates which they had right there in the office. The finance person asked if we wanted an extended warranty, but did not pressure us in ANY way when we said no, and I found that very refreshing given some of the experiences I've had at other places.

I should also mention that we had our three children with us, who are generally well-behaved but were understandably bored and hungry after all the time we wasted at the other place. But at Don Jacobs they got to watch Star Wars in the waiting area and have snacks and drinks, and they were super happy! This also made it easier for my husband and I to talk and make a decision, not to mention get the paperwork done in peace.

Because the Don Jacobs staff were so quick with everything, even though we took a little while to decide whether we were going to buy the car or not, we were still leaving just after 5 PM with our new car. We also appreciated that Don Jacobs basically extends the ToyotaCare free maintenance for two extra years. I would definitely buy another car from Don Jacobs and I highly recommend Matt as a salesperson.

I was on desperate need for a good, reliable used car and Don Jacob's Toyota had what I needed! Our sale person, David, was kind and answered all of our questions and concerns fast and with care. They had the car fax at hand and financing was quick and painless. They worked with us on price and I am truly confident I got a good deal on a reliable car!

I drove 90 miles after work to see a Tundra. They held it for me, had it all ready to go, provided me with a low pressure salesperson, and let me decide to buy. I did. The necessary staff stayed after closing time to finish the deal. There was not one unhappy face. Thank you!

I arrived at Don Jacobs Toyota on S 27th St at 5:15 PM. There was one service advisor & a manager helping people. I was passed over 3 times because I was waiting for a service advisor . The manager helped several people that came in after me. When I was served it was now 5:25 PM & they close at 6 PM. I needed a burned out headlight changed. I was told they wouldn't have time to do that because they close at 6. I asked fh or s manager. She said his office is over there & pointed

I had a bad experience with service department. My car was having problems starting and needed jumpstart. I knew I had a dead battery and needed a replacement. However, they told me there was a problem with wiring and I paid to fix it, only to come back with the same problem 2 days later. The second time they told me the problem was a dead battery!
I was annoyed and upset that I paid the first time for a problem that never existed. I spoke with the service manager and he was not sympathetic and he did not admit to their error and did not care about losing a loyal customer.

I leased a 2012 Toyota Highlander in 2012. I ended up driving more than I planned due to career changes. I was in the middle of my second year of a three year lease and was almost at 35,000 miles. I called Toyota and they helped me get out of my lease and into a a new one with no money down and my payments increased just by $20. They were quick and catered to my needs and got me into a new Highlander. Friendly staff and they were not pushy. :)

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Very unprofessional staff. Sold me a vehicle that was no good when I complained they had me trade in my vehicle. I got the second car that was also no good after the 2nd day of having it the vehicle was accelarating by itself while parked and while driving. Brought the vehicle in to service and they didnt want to take responsability for it. The service director JOSE RIVERA actually had us leave the permises. They refuse to fix our vehicle, they refuse to give us a loaner & refuse to take responsability. WORST DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE.

I went in to look at a Tesla Model 3 they had for sale. It felt like because I was a younger guy that showed up to their dealership in a Honda Accord, they thought I couldn t afford it and were very rude. The salesman was actually fine, but who I thought was the owner jumped in to show the car too and he was not very pleasant. He lied to me and told me the car had the performance package, even though it didn t. He also did not want to engage in conversation as if I was some kind of charity case there to kick tires and waste his time. He made me feel so uncomfortable I didn t even ask for a test drive and wanted to leave immediately. If you are a young guy with money, stay away. You ll be treated like trash.

I've used Don Jacobs Toyota for years and every time I get incredible service with reasonable prices. When I told my brother-in-law I take my car to a dealer for service he thought I was probably getting ripped off - right up until he saw the bill. The service advisors take the time to explain any suggested repair or maintenance to me and have even let me know when a sale will be coming up if I need something like new tires. Being able to trust the quality and the price brings peace of mind and I appreciate DJT for their commitment to those ideals!

Credit where credit is due.

The water pump pulley on my wife's 2015 Highlander failed catastrophically on the freeway. It was definitely a manufacturer defect. Her car only had 54k miles, but it was 12 days outside the warranty period.

Jose and Gary from the service department went to bat for me with Toyota Corporate, and took care of a $1200 repair for the cost of a new serpentine belt (which was destroyed when the water pump failed).

I've had many negative run-ins with car dealerships, but feel that credit should be given when customers are treated well. I've owned four Toyotas in the last 25 years, and will continue doing business with them (through Don Jacobs).

Thanks guys- for saving my family a massive repair bill!

I would tell everyone and anyone looking for a new or used car to go directly to Don Jacobs. Their customer service is in a whole other (much better!) class than other dealerships in the area. Edwin was very helpful, straightforward, polite, and didn't waste any of our time when we came to buy a used car. Having recently bought another used vehicle from a different large dealership in the area I was stunned by how much simpler, easier, and more enjoyable the process was at Don Jacobs. Thank you thank you!

My car broke down on a Friday evening while I was in MKE for a job. They hooked me up with Ray's towing , who got my Highlander Hybrid to the dealer. These guys set me up with a rental car, had the car diagnosed and repaired the next day. (It was a bad battery.) It wasn't cheap but for a specialized vehicle that's to be expected .
They were very professional and kind making an otherwise stressful situation go quite smoothly.

We had our Tacoma serviced there for an oil change and asked them to replace our wipers. They charged us for changing the wipers, LIED to us and told us they changed the wipers, and did not change the wipers. How do you know if they rotated the tires or did the oil change? You should trust your mechanic and I DO NOT TRUST this place.

My first time buying a Toyota. The salesman that helped me was also named Patrick. Friendly, nice guy. Went in looking for a lightly used Corolla. Found one (2016 model year with less than 10k miles, was used as a LEASE and not a rental ), test drove it (drove beautifully, steering wheel was crooked to the right a little bit but no play or shaking even at highway speeds) and then had my step brother come and check out the vehicle to make sure it wasn't wrecked. He noticed the passenger side front fender only had primer on the inside after popping the hood and checking out the engine bay but everything appeared to be properly fixed (whatever the issue was), ended up purchasing the vehicle. Went to work afterwards, and on my way to drop a coworker off at his residence, while braking and going over bumps, we both heard rubber squeaking noises and crunching noises coming from the front end of the car. Both sides, driver and passenger. On a 2016 Corolla with less than 10k miles... I will update and change my rating towards this dealership depending on how they'll handle this situation for me. My trade in (a 2014 Ford Fiesta) never made any suspension noises. Ever.

Update: The next day I took the car in to get looked over, the used car sales manager handled it very professionally and kept reassuring me I would get taken care of and they kept their word. Thank you.
