I'm really impressed with the customer service. A friend and business associate recommended one of DollarDays products. I was hoping to get a better idea suitability for use in our model airplane products, specifically those for youngsters.

I am the Happiest Customer Ever right now! Two weeks ago I had ordered 95 packs of colored pencils from a local store and two nights ago they informed me that they could not fulfill my order. This left me with 4 days to find a replacement supplier as I have volunteers scheduled to help pack 95 Blessing Bags to be gifted to chemo patients. I did a Google search and found Dollar Days, decided to call to ask about shipping times and the friendliest voice ever answered the phone. Joe Pearson listened to my needs and told me frankly that I likely wouldn't receive my order in time but they would try their best. I took a chance and placed the order. Imagine my shock and excitement when the big brown truck pulled up and my complete order was delivered just 28 hours after I hung up the phone from placing the order!!! I am now a customer for life and I will tell everyone with ears that they should be as well Joe, thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving the day!!

UNMATCHED customer service. I am taking a mission trip to some orphanages in Peru and was concerned about placing an order and not having it arrive on time. I called and left a late night message. By morning I had a reply by email. I also had a phone call with Maribel who assisted me with discussing shipping time estimates depending on what product I ordered for the orphan kids and from which warehouse it would come out of. Then after placing the order, to my surprise the account manager Nick called to ask me how everything went. I advised I was going to be short shipped due to lack of an item I ordered and he took the time to ask me what I was looking for and went online with me to find a similar product to order. Every person I came into contact with, Maribel, Nick, and the people answering the customer service email were very speedy and helpful in helping me. Dollar Days! I place an order with Dollar Days and I left the items in my "cart" for about a week. One of the items that I wanted to order were fleece blankets for my daughter's upcoming wedding and I was trying to decide if the color of the blankets was what I was looking for. I received call from Candace, at Dollar Days, as she noticed that I had these items in my cart and was there any questions she could answer. I explained that I was ordering the blankets but undecided if the color would be true to the picture on the website. Candace checked the inventory and said there were plenty of the blankets in stock and suggested that I order a sample to make sure that this was the color I wanted. I received the sample blanket and loved the color. I called Candace back, she remembered me and helped me place the order for the fleece blankets. Candace was delightful and so helpful and has exceptional customer service skills.
I contacted this company about a product for a customer of mine. The initial stages of contact went very well and I received quick responses. Then, all of a sudden communication stopped. I can't get a returned phone call or email for anything. I've left several messages, emails and even talked to people through live chat and on the phone. I'm so displeased with the customer service I've received. Never in my 7 years in this business have I ever experienced such a long time to wait for a quote. I've waited 6 weeks to get a quote on 1 item. Now I'm having to turn away my customer, losing business for myself and for them.

Dollar Days exemplifies poor management and sub-standard business practices. The CEO, Marc Joseph, could well have been Scott Adams' inspiration for his "Pointy Haired Boss" character. In fact, the entire organization resembles Adam's allegedly fictional company. Employees are hired regardless of competence, and fired with offhand casualness. This leads to problems with both vendors and customers. Caveat emptor and vendor alike.
I ordered a case of potholders and alot of them had bad and missing stitching. Sad, cant use them for embroidering. Waste of money. Very disappointed.

I had great hopes for Dollar Days, based on previous reviews. I was going to buy several hundred pair of shoelaces for a non-profit. I found 38" neon shoelaces for 23 cents a unit. Great price! I was ready to order but then had a thought: is a unit a pair of shoelaces or one lace? So I contacted Dollar Days and spoke with a very nice man named Michael M. He didn't have the answer so called me back after someone actually had to look at the item. Turns out the price listed was for one shoelace! Every other site I explored sold shoelaces by the pair. Well, I was willing to pay 46 cents a pair but Michael said (and I have this in print), the website was in error and a pair would cost 69 cents. Oh no! I told him they needed to honor the price listed on the website.
After much back and forth, his last offer was fifty cents a pair if I ordered a large number of pairs (I was going to order several hundred pair). I told him I had already found a distributor in the U.S. that charges 46 cents a pair.
I would caution you to be very careful if you order from this company. Also, they charge tax and shipping, which some other companies do not.
I am extremely disappointed in Dollar Days and would never buy from them.

Why? Because I clicked on a beautiful gift bag and some other important items, ready to check out and it said beneath the gift bag Warning! If shipping address is California we can t sell them . I said wait a minute! They selling glossy bags all over the place here in LA so why? I was heart broken and decided to stop shopping come back later and write that complaint email. Y all know haha.. but wait can you believe I had a phone call from Candice Mckintorch @ Dollar days in Arizona this morning explaining why?( it is based on a proposition ) which obviously was beyond their control and asking if i needed a similar gift bag that could be shipped to California or anything else. Listen! This is an in-store kinda service if Ure lucky. I was so overwhelmed because I shop online and i ve never ever received any phone call from not even one company asking why i m having trouble.. you know it s usually the opposite. She took her time to call me someone who was purchasing just a few items and couldn t get through. Remember, you have the right to spend your money anywhere without question but this is an exemplary Customer Service we as consumers need to keep coming back! All businesses should learn from this.
