Dolina Charlotty Resort & SPA Review

The basic reason for our trip was the desire to use the massage and spa. Unfortunately, there are no places and free dates on the spot. There is a small pool and miniature jakuzi that would work to be turned on by the lady at the spa reception. In addition, the part of the sauna was the stench of the sewage system. The hotel offered a fun animator for children, but there was no such person on the spot. Other cons are lack of coffee milk in the room, very slow internet, the quality of the room equipment does not come under the standard of four stars, the night lamp has a damaged plug to the socket, the list of channels on the television is very modest, many saved channels do not work, no bathrobe for a child in the right size, it helped to specify the age of the child when booking, the hotel does not offer anything extraordinary that would make it unique.

The room is hot, stuffy and pissed with air freshener upon arrival, rather than ventilating properly. Only after a whole day of airing it was possible to bear it. (the room was not properly aired, because we had a problem to open the old window ...)
In addition, a bottle of wine in the welcome package ... and I had to ask for it myself ... embarrassment with 4 stars, I would expect wine on the bed and at least a withered flower ...
the food is tasty and a lot, the service is nice and helpful.
I recommend the spa to the ladies who approach the task professionally and it's nice to relax.
I do not recommend going to the bar, the bartender made drinks from the menu, he had to read the card 5 times, and it lasted 15 minutes, and at the end the malibu was with orange juice instead of pineapple ...

However, for a 4 star standard, I would have expected something better, for the price for the price for the second time for sure ....

Every year the hotel leaves the standards of a dirty room. Towels with holes. This dinner is not eaten and is repeated in a few days. The salmon was taken out of the fridge after a few days and even the staff did not change the arugula which was wilted.

A place for families with small children and large wallets

The Charlotte Valley near S upsk is one of those places where you can really relax and relax. A beautiful hotel, in addition to accommodation, can offer body treatments in the SPA area, in the largest open-air amphitheater in Poland, cabarets are held every year and Rock Legends Festival hosting the greatest music stars. For visitors to this picturesque alley is also available to the zoo, where you can see various species of animals and there is also a seal center. A great restaurant on the water complements this magical place.

Cool. I recommend to all who plan to rest during the weekend from the everyday so-called "work - home" races. I recommend taking advantage of the high-level spa offer full of relaxation. Greetings to all employees and see you.

I won't write about the hotel itself but about whole place. It is really great! It has perfect localisation, it is placed among small hilly forest with the lake inside the valley. It is a good terrain to have a rest, bike trip, calm jogging or hard running session.
I'll add that the whole complex is quite big, it has a zoo, line park, and children's story garden. Although these entertaiments are quite expensive for the quality they offer they are good to experience with kids.
A great advantage of Charlotta's Valley is the big number of concerts and cabarets and some sport events. unfortunately sport events are quite expesive.

It was the first time in the Valley of Charlotte, outside the area for walks and pluses mentioned above, I do not see the need to go back (at least for the price of what I was).

Very good and plentiful meals, breakfasts so varied and with such a choice, I really do not know who would miss what else. Comparing with other 4 * hotels, probably the largest ... It is similar with dinners ... I do not understand why so many negative opinions on this subject .

Lots of attractions for children, including 2 indoor playrooms and outdoor squares. Lots of attractions in the area of the zoo, rope park, stud, sealarium, but unfortunately payable and not too little. a very successful and atmospheric spa with a large swimming pool.
the downside is the gym is quite poor and poor, a little neglected area next to it and well ... it must be the fault of marketing because I expected a big whow effect ... but I will not say it is very very ok.

Unfortunately, the rooms and common areas are a bit dated, but clean. Varied breakfast, freshly fried pancakes available.
A very big minus for the restaurant. A signature dish from the restaurant's menu - stewed zander in vegetables for PLN 59 is a failure ... it is actually fish fried in breadcrumbs (rather defrosted), plus frozen, rubber vegetables and sauce with so much old butter that you can feel them for two more days. .. the waiter is very nice, but when asked for a dry white wine with fish, he serves semi-sweet muscat, claiming that it is "a dry wine with a hint of sweetness";)
I am counting on interventions from the management of the facility regarding the restaurant.

I have not yet had the opportunity to be in a hotel, but the whole complex seems very pleasant for the whole family. Most often, I watch the am amphitheater there, and the stage and sound system is impeccable every time!

I LOVE before leaving valuable items in the room as well as cash !!! They die in unexplained circumstances !!! Kitchen hopeless, tasteless, everything cheap, frozen, unmounted. A lot of foreign employees. During conversations with them, you can learn a lot of interesting things .... rate PLN 6 ???? Massacre. Conditions at the zoo tragedy. Prices exorbitant for a ***** hotel and this one deserves maybe 1 !!!! TRAGEDY

Dolina Charlotty is located in Strzelinko 10 km from the sea-Ustka and 10 km from S upsk. It is away from the hustle and bustle of cities. Near the Baltic beaches. Location on the lake, surrounded by a forest. Dolina Charlotty Resort & SPA, a perfect place to relax with the family. Unique facilities built on islands, close to nature, many attractions and Spa. There are many interesting attractions in the Charlotta Valley: Zoo with the Land of Fairy Tales, Water Safari Zoo, Seal Center, kayaks and pedal boats, fishing, horse rides, playground, volleyball court.
The greatest attraction of the Charlotta Valley are concerts of Rock stars, organized since 2007 in July and August. Among many world stars of the previous years, ZZ Top, Robert Plant, Carlos Santana are mentioned - several times and Suzi Quatro, Kasia Kowalska, The Jan Ga ach Band, Deep Purple , Marillion, Mike & The Mechanics, Turbo, Whitesnake, The Sisters of Mercy are just some of the performers. Both the hotel and its surroundings make a very good impression. Overall, very positive.
I definitely recommend it.

For sure, the interior of the hotel shows that it needs refreshment. Both when it comes to rooms and, for example, a restaurant or a bar. The a la carte menu was medium-varied and after serving ... the visual impression was none but tasted like reheated. On the plus side for sure nice service. Unfortunately, all attractions, outside restaurants on the weekend were closed.

The Charlotte Valley is worth seeing. It is lovely there.

The Charlotte Valley is unique.
I've been here several times, also with my family. I have never been disappointed. Stylish interior, hand-made furniture, wonderful Spa with Thai massage made by real Thai women. Pool with a glass wall and a view of the forest. Playroom for children - a revelation! It was hard to get the children out of her. Delicious breakfasts. A card in a short but concrete restaurant. In the summer, a rope park, a zoo with lemurs and horse riding are an obligatory program, in the winter walks around the area and the spa.
We were also on Christmas - the program of stay refined, everyone found something for themselves. Christmas Eve dinner and Mikolaj - great! And then a march with torches to a forest chapel for a shepherdess.

A very nice place for two or three days. There is a lot of space for walking on site. There are also attractions if someone wants them. The hotel is open to guests with young children. For many, it is a plus, but "accumulation", especially during meals, slightly reduces the comfort of rest.

My 7-year-old child said that it is boring here. We did not see anything interesting. Most lam. Price as from space. The toilet was just a bar or its name ... smell of urine and cobwebs in the corners. In no zoo you do not have to pay for additional attractions. I do not recommend ... the owner do not advertise this zoo just take care of his guests who recommend this place as. They will be satisfied.
