I bought a pair of 2017/18 Black Crow Vertis Birdies from Brian at Forerunner this weekend, and couldn't be happier with the experience. Brian took great care in learning about my ski style before recommending that I demo this ski for a full day. Sure enough his assessment was spot on-- they were perfect for me and I bought them same day, he even hooked me up with some awesome bindings when I purchased. I would highly recommend this shop if you are in the market for new equipment and value quality service and knowledgeable sellers.

Great service, very nice people. I rented the premium set up. Equipment was good but a little dated (compared to equipment our friends rented from a different shop in the area). That s the only reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. Price was very reasonable. I would definitely rent from them again.
If your need pro level advice in all categories Brian at forerunner is the man!!! He will take the time to go above and beyond to get you totally dialed in regardless of your ski ability. From the best World Cup skiers to first time skiers he has the experience to get you where you need to be comfortable on the mountain!

I was visiting Killington last season and "mis-placed" my skis at the hill. I was suddenly in the market for a new set of skis. A few staff at Killington recommended that I visit Brian at Forerunner. I'm glad I did.
I stopped by Forerunner and met Brian and staff. They asked alot of questions about my skiing style, terrain, height/weight, budget, etc... and recommended a few sets of skis. They encouraged me to demo a few sets of skis before making a purchase decison, to ensure the skis were a match. They provided an option to credit the very fairly priced demo/rental charge against the purchase price of skis if I decided to buy. I demo'd a few sets of skis and decided on a set and purchased. I love the skis (Black Crows Vertis) and the pricing was fair.
I spent a a few hours over a few days at the shop, discussing ski selection, getting set up with demos, picking up and returning demos, and making my purchase. During this time, I witnessed Brian and staff asking lots of questions and genuinely listening to the customers, and making equipment recommendations based on their customers' responses. These guys are pros. I highly recommend this shop.

Hell yes, I can tell those guys help us with buts! In general the guy wash my bran with his knowledge about staff. We even came back on to present a beer because damn we got what we got.

I originally came to Forerunner to rent some skis for my nieces, and get mine tuned. The store was very clean and I was greeted with excellent customer service. One of the employees fit my nieces for the right size skis while another tuned mine. They gave my nieces some tips on skiing and when we returned them we were all asked about our time on the mountain. The management team is also very informative. This shop seems to be run by professionals, and I can say with certainty that I will be back.
Brian is the best boot fitter!! I almost quit skiing yesterday with fulcrum vacuums. After an hour meet with the boss ingot to ski for a whole day no issue.

Owner Brian Smith took great care of us this week. He and his team are awesome people who truly care. The boot fitting was amazing and he corrected so much bad work done by others. I can't say enough good things about my new intuition liners for my telemark and Alpine boots...I had suffered for way too long. My son loves his new Shaman mogul skis with Look pivot bindings. Forerunner has the only selection of mogul skis we've seen with a great demo fleet. My son and I can't recommend them enough!
