I was looking for a fun waistcoat at a reasonable price, but they were few and far between. I happened upon the Dobell web site and there it was! The waistcoat was covered in union jacks, the price was extremely good so I ordered it as part of a Christmas present. The waistcoat arrived very promptly, the material is nice, and it is a good fit. Dobell saved Christmas!!!!!

Non-existent customer services I would recommend you avoid buying from them. Dobell managed to send me the wrong trousers for a suit I urgently needed. Their site says that they can arrange for an express exchange if needed and ask that you email their customer services team who will get back to you within 24 hours. 6 days later still no news from customer services despite subsequent message. I've even tried contacting them on social media where they continue to post but receive an automated response directing me to the same email address. In the meantime I immediately sent back the wrong trousers and have received confirmation from Royal Mail that these have been delivered but still no news or acknowledgement from Dobell. They seem to be having a closing down sale so who knows if I'll ever get my trousers, at this rate I won't need any part of the suit.
Bought a Christmas gift for my father, he loves waistcoats but as he is only a slight build chose the 36inch but sadly too tight. Returned for a larger size, very efficient service and now a perfect fit totally loves his new red swirl waistcoat, such a reasonable price will order again as excellent item and service

They started to charge for shipping .... you either pay $9.95 or $14.95. I was very displeased by this because I ordered some shoes awhile back without having to worry about shipping cost , but I guess things change. I will have to go to amazon this year since they seem to cater to client wants/needs at no extra cost

Literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced despite some of the products being reasonably good quality. I made an order for a full morning suit for my wedding. The products that arrived were of mixed quality and the sizing was different on all of them. I returned some items and asked for an exchange on the tailcoat only to be told "they have no idea when they get stock in - even if wait a month and call back" but that when they do get stock they get thousands so I will be fine. I called and spoke to a manager who informed me I should just keep checking the website. After pointing out that I'd paid already and I wanted an exchange, she was unable to even hold stock to send on to me or to offer any alternative beyond me doing the work to find the product again online and reorder it.

Dobell have no idea about quality I have phoned, complained and filled out unfavourable reviews and they still don't get that they couldn't couldn't give me the stuff they are trying to sell - leave me you, don't deserve the one star I was forced to give in order to get this posted...

I would give 0 stars if I could. 1. They shipped me GOLD shoes when the website suggested they would be black or brown, and won't take them back or refund me. 2. I returned 2 trousers because they looked nothing like in the website, and they've refunded me 20% less of what I paid. I would strongly suggest you stay away from this retailer.

Ben was absolutely Brilliant, and nothing was to much trouble, his telephone manner was second to none. It was an absolute pleasure to talk to him. Sir thank you for the help and please pass on my appreciation to Ben. just another point about the Jacket that I purchased. the fit is perfect in fact a beautiful Jacket, I shall be a returning customer, and after wearing the jacket my Male and Female commented on the look and asked where it came from and of cause the answer was Dobell , Thank You again Mr P.J.Edwards.
Terrible company to deal with. Ordered a suit and due to a processing error, it wasn't delivered until after the event it was ordered for. When the suit arrived, it was cheap and low quality; flimsy fabric with poor fit. It was returned to them and 21 days later, there has still been no refund despite an acknowledgement that it was received at their returns centre. Appalling business practices and absolutely no chance of repeat custom. I'd recommend Slaters or Suits Direct who both offer vastly better customer service.
I used the Union Jack lined Dinner Jacket for British Night on a recent cruise. It worked really well. With the jacket fastened you cannot tell it out of the ordinary but open the lining is a wow. The trousers were a generous fit but adjustable waistband works well (side button adjustable|). The trousers were slightly longer than the 33" stated. The fairly lightweight material was very good on a cruise in warm Autumn weather. All my purchases from Dobell have been good value and arrived promptly.
Usual good service and quick delivery. Would have given 5 stars if I had not been a bit disappointed with the garment quality for the price. Mind you, it was bought in a flash sale.

I very rarely write reviews but was so impressed with the service from Dobell. I ordered a tuxedo for my 13 yr old son as had been let down by Next, and it arrived the very next day and is fantastic quality at a great price. Would highly recommend.

Very poor! They pretend to be an Australian based business, when they are actually in the UK. The phone number is disconnected and I am still waiting for my order to arrive - it is already after the 7-10 days I was told it would arrive by. I try emailing and all I get is an automatic response telling me how they will try and get back to me in 24 hours! Still waiting!!!!!!

Had compound problems with the Carrier and also product imperfections. Time constraints meant I decide not to return faulty products and also run the risk of more issues with the Carrier. Shame really as this is probably my first and last experience with Dobell.

I have previously liked buying from here, but my last purchase was meant to be next day delivery it arrived 5 days later albeit a weekend between, however when I returned the items they recieved it in the 28th, confirmed by post office tracking. It is now the 25th of the next month, still no refund, this is very very poor and totally unacceptable!
