Best hotel in the city/ country - almost like an oasis in a desert. Spacious, well- maintained , charming Arabic designed structure and a garden in the middle adding some greenery and colors. The only drawback is the slow security staff. But that's understandable since I attended a high- level summit.

Luxury too excessive in contrast to the misery outside, fenced and beset by armed guards as a prison, where I had dinner in the buffet room, there was a giant rat who was walking behind the counters, excessively high prices for what it offers

Beautiful estate right next to the water. Very large rooms. All of the staff are so nice and helpful. Breakfast was different but I enjoyed it. Multiple pools to choose from. The gym is pretty nice as well. Its far away from town which is a plus for privacy and a negative if you like being close to anything

I am allergic to dust, but when I let them know that I want my carpet to be shampoo and that the Ac filter and curtains are washed every week, a very professional follow-up is done. Djibouti palace kempinski the best hotel of all time with its luxury. We came to dinner at Tantazioni restaurant for a friend's birthday but we were impressed by the warm welcome from wonderful and kind staffs with their surprises to mark this evening. Everything was magic in fact they knew how to take care of us and it really marked us thanks again to the whole team of Tantazioni (John and Keyseh and the chief who prepared us a very delicious dish) as well as the person behind it Mr Ayanleh thank you again to all the kempinski team you were wonderful to wish happy birthday to my friend has really pleased him.

The lobby is so stunning that you think you're in one of those flight magazine ads. However, reality kicks in at breakfast when there are no coffee cups or tea spoons. Populated with EU military on rotation, and wealthy expat families at the weekend. Beautiful rooftop bar almost empty. In contrast, gym always busy with bored military personnel.
