The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Great value resort.
The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Great value resort.
Inexpensive and convenient location, with access to the skyliner to Hollywood studios.
New room renovations are great and the new fold away bed allows much more space. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The parking was pretty limited. But we went for lunch before going to the parks. You can get a large pizza that is very filling and cheap
This is our favorite value resort at Walt Disney World. Nicely remodeled rooms. Excellent and attentive staff. Great food and beverages. It is a fantastic place to stay while keeping in a budget.
Nice clean rooms and good service. Resort is spread out which does not make it seem as busy as it is. Very nice for a value resort.
It's a budget room but it doesn't skimp on amenities. It's great because you don't have to spend much since you'll spend most of your time at the parks. The food court here is really good. The staff, like everywhere else in Disney, are great.
Great, clean, and bright room for the price. Food and convenience is also great. Would stay here again
Great value with warm inviting staff. Close enough to everything fun and priced not to blow up the bank account!
Don t be afraid to ask if they ll do a free room upgrade!!! My mom and I asked and they were able too!!! We did run into one Very rude cast member at the food court though. The food was okay not the greatest but I would suggest going to the grocery store and picking food up to keep in your room.
....very nice resort ...our favorite since we've stayed here 13 out of 14 WDW trips. It just had complete room renovations ...so it's clean and shiny too. The one pet peeve is that the renovations to the rooms have removed any hint of theming that says, "You're at Disneyworld".
The place has rooms under construction but the new rooms are absolutely gorgeous! I must say they improved it from what they were and some still are. I will say in areas of the park they have a bad oder from something I cannot describe. Besides the scent walking through the resort it's amazing.
The property was great for one of the lower-end properties with everything we needed for a successful family trip.
Again Disney on the top. You don't get bored always something to do. The restaurant prices little high. Free bus to reach the Disney park. Good idea to have self service for laundry.
I love it here! The rooms are new and clean, very family friendly and affordable, plus- skyliner!
Much nicer and newer than the sports, music and film all star resorts for just a little bit more in price. Our room had a normal queen and a Murphy queen bed which made a ton of room. There was a full sized dinner table/desk that you don't normally get with the values and we doubled up and never had to pull out the Murphy although it would have been easy. Has a bigger TV than some deluxe resorts (yacht and beach club) and same coffee maker, etc. The petal pool is big and has fun activities for kids (no slide though if that matters). The quick service is pretty standard with normal Disney variety burgers, pizza, chicken. May be the best value if you're planning on spending most of your time at the parks and will only be at the hotel to sleep, shower, and occasional runs to pool and late night meal.
Staff was friendly and building 8 manager was extremely helpful. Great visit
One of the newest Disney hotel resorts. You take a bus from here to any of the parks. This is virtually identical to the Animation Hotel. Decorating differs. Hotel consists of many buildings. At least nine. Nice looking, well maintained. Designed to allow rooms to be quickly renovated, if you look at the details. Small rooms. Murphy bed plus queen.
Service mostly good. Some push back when I had issues I brought up. Didn't really expect that from Disney. Didn't bring bags to room until midnight after complaining and explaining bags contained required medicines.
If you want Disney on the cheap, book one of these places on one of the free meal plan weeks. We did Disney less than $200/day pp. Including trinkets.

You get what you pay for... But not here. I'd strongly suggest you consider spending a few extra dollars and stay at Art of Animation. The room was clean enough, but we never got towels we asked for, waited in longer bus lines than at other resorts, had to smell cigarettes throughout the resort, etc. Your money can be better spent elsewhere.
This hotel has been amazing! Very accommodating and they are very friendly! The kids loved the theme!
We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms, theyve outdone themselves once again
This was my first stay at Pop Century and it was exactly as I expected. If you are just looking for a place to eat and unwind after a long day, it will work just fine. Not luxurious, but perfectly fine.
Great service, clean rooms, good food, just wish the pools were open later or at your own risk after a certain time.
We loved the ambiance and the relics from decades past! We were very impressed by the rooms. A lot of thought was put into making every space very usable.
Excellent Disney resort... Reasonably priced, comfortable, has loads of amenities! Newly refurbished rooms are awesome!
My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. We considered other Disney resorts that were in the more median price range of the mid-300s per night, but for the cost, this hotel is fantastic. The building we were in, #5 I believe, seems to have been recently renovated because it is really quite nice. It has a very "modern chic" feel but it is still very cozy. We only really use it for sleeping and getting ready for the parks (& ), but even if you have kids there are a lot of amenities for that as well. Nice pools with lifeguards, a 24-hour arcade, surprisingly decent food in the cafeteria. I recommend it wholeheartedly!
**There are also a few hidden Mickey's around the resort to find!**
Been here for a few days. So far so good. Big resort thou so lots of walking to transportation. Afraid of heights but the sky coaster was great because it s enclosed. Not huge selection of food at resultant but the turkey dinner is fantastic!!! Mashed potatoes are amazing!! Very glad my husband and I chose this hotel over the other value hotels.
Absolutely love this place, nice new modern rooms, great service lots of fun
Love it but a little loud in the rooms by the pool. Otherwise perfect value resort.
Amazing resort. Decent and clean rooms.
The resort is well decorated. Its best to have your own car to visit the parks as the bus takes a bit of time.
We stayed in the newly renovated building 8. Absolutely love the new look. Lots of outlets and usb ports for all your smart devices. Decor is reminiscent of Bay Lake Tower. Huge tv and very nice updated showers.Bed is very comfortable. Love it, love it, love it!!
Rooms were very comfortable. Bus transportation WAS reliable. Our waitress times were minimal. Our room wasn't cleaned on our last full day. We were able to get towels, but did not realize we were out of body wash. Would stay there again.
Nice, clean, value resort. The food was decent and the service was Disney good. My only complaint would be how crowded it was. There were lots of tour groups there during our stay which could have been a result of the time of year we were there.
I visited the Pop Century resort in September of 2018 with my boyfriend. We stayed for 2 nights and were really impressed. Pop Century is one of Disney s more budget-friendly resorts; for our September dates we paid $128 per night. Our room was fairly small, but it worked out for us as we were only a party of 2 and didn t need a ton of extra space. But the room was really, really nice! We could tell that the rooms had just been renovated before our visit. I was impressed.
We loved the atmosphere of the resort as a whole. Being that it was one of Disney s cheaper hotel options there were a LOT of kids running around so if you re just going to Disney with another adult you might wanna look into splurging on the more expensive resorts if that bothers you. We didn t mind because we were spending most of our time in the parks anyway.
I was very happy with Pop Century Resort! It was very clean and everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful! The only negative thing I can say is that there are no coffee makers in the rooms. You can get coffee from the cafeteria though so it's not a reason for me to not come back.
I will definitely stay here again!
Rooms and bathrooms were tinier than a prison cell and the cafeteria type food is absolutely horrible. I won't be back
Buses are slow and Skyliner stops frequently and is not reliable. Rooms are clean.
POP is our "go to" for staying on-property. Rooms are small, but price isn't much more than value chain hotels especially after you factor in money saved with free parking daily at the Disney parks. We aren't in the room enough to worry with being pampered and I feel the money saved on the hotel is much better spent on additional park days or table service meals. Pop is clean and nicely laid out. The pools are kept near and stay pretty uncrowded.
Switched rooms since the first was dirty. I wouldn't choose that location again unless you're willing to stand in line for bus service to the parks. Contemporary or Grand Floridian are much more convenient. Food service at Pop Culture was fast and good.
We absolutely loved Pop Century! It is a value resort which is where we usually stay, and this one might have been our favorite! Very clean, great room set up, nice dining hall, wonderful shop. We are staying here again soon. I absolutely loved it. We also really enjoyed the decade themes and decor. Very nice and fun touch!
Great resort. Rooms are refurbished and have great upgrades.
When first arriving to the hotel we were greeted by the best smelling hotel I've ever stayed in. We stayed in a newly renovated room that was very nice. We had a short walk to the buses since we stayed in the 60's building. Staff is super friendly also. We had the best anniversary vacation!
The room we stayed in had mold or mildew on the floor by the bathroom, other than that it was nice. Ac and heat worked well, buses ran in a timely manner, bed wasn't bad for a value resort. Would and probably will stay here again in the future.
Love this resort! Cast members are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and theming are my favorite parts. Its bright and colorful. Love the huge character icon statues.
The rooms were upgraded nicely. The murfy is a nice way to give extra space in the room. The fan in the bathroom turned on and off whenever it felt like it. Not a great breakfast selection. There were only ever 1 or 2 guests in line to pay but it still always took at least 5 minutes to get through. Buses to the early parks are almost no existent.
Stayed here for 10 nights with my mom and sister in the 70s building. Overall, we enjoyed it. Our room was very clean and although a bit small, there is so much storage room so we didn t have a hard time fitting all of our things. The walls are pretty thin. We never heard anyone else talking but could hear toilets flushing, doors opening and closing, and outside noises. Small fridge and no microwave but we made it work. We ate a couple times at the food court. It was nothing spectacular but we went back more than once. Mickey waffles are delicious. We only went to the main pool a couple of times and it was just fine every time. Clean area, and although sometimes a little busy, there was always room to sit and socially distance in the pool. Our parking lot got crowded sometimes but even if we were far out, it wasn t too long of a walk. Overall really enjoyed it. We were on the fourth floor in building 10 and it was super quiet!
Overall an excellent and magical experience. The children loved their entire stay.
Really great rooms! Cool decor throughout the resort. The ONLY downside is that the walls are thin, and you can hear pretty much everything from the rooms next to you.
The room is on the small side but good enough if you're like my family and don't plan on spending much time there. I loved all the different themes and pools. The gift shop was cute. I didn't think the food was anything special but not bad either... $4 sodas from the vending machine were ridiculous and i set to have the maids come in every other day for the beds and towels. They didn't take the dirty sheets just tossed clean ones in the room.. Thankful we had a safe in the room as well.
My family stayed at the pop century for 3 nights. We had no complaints during our entire stay. The room was clean and updated. We loved the shower and the fact that Disney provided full size toiletries during our stay. The resort was wonderful and so many great photo opportunities. The pool area was nice and Disney provides lots of clean towels. Check in and check out was fast and easy. We loved our stay here and definitely recommend it.
Great place to stay! Very clean free buses to the parks.
Clean hotel with very attentive and friendly staff!
Love this place, the breakfast was perfect right before the parks. It is very close to all 4 parks so bus ride or not you wont hassle with traffic. If you do ride the bus they have a great schedule that will get you on a bus asap. Very economic friendly and has outstanding customer service.
Newly refurbished rooms with a large pool, kiddy play area, restraunt and an arcade. Wish the arcade has a prize counter but it was still fun for the kids. The food is expensive cafeteria style with a few different lines that serve different food. Expect around 50 dollars per meal for a family of four. The room was nice and cleaned with brand new showers and beds.
Pop Century Resort is very practical Resort within Disney World. It's easy to access any park and to transport to any park period only little bit of a problem if you want to go to the city or shopping. I would say is practic way to get in Disney World if you just doing Disney in Orlando Florida
This is an excellent resort for families of all ages! Clean, renovated rooms that are comfortable and convenient to the theme parks. Good food options and amenities as well. We stayed for three nights and every staff member we encountered was friendly and courteous. Excellent value!
Overall, nicely refurbished, functional rooms. No bathtub in our room. Shower only. Also, no microwave. There is a coffee pot and a mini fridge. Saw one bug in our room.
Check-in was a breeze and service was exceptional. My only concern was that the room want ready until after 7PM. They have plenty to do while waiting and they did issue a room credit, but we lost some valuable park hours waiting. That said, we'll definitely be back!
The rooms were clean but small. Extremely noisy from other guests tromping back into rooms at late hours and from the pool. I don't recommend at all. We had to book here because it was the only Disney property available that was close to the park. Magic hours are everything!
The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable I guess. I was so tired after walking around all day anything would feel good. My only complaint was there needed to be more cashier's during peak hours in the food court.
Pop Century is a great value! The rooms were recently refurbished, clean, and incredibly functional. The location is fairly good, too. It's just a short ride to Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios...it is however pretty filled with kids and families...so if you are traveling without kids, you may feel out of place.
This stay has been excellent. We have had baggage delivery issues before but this time we brought only carry-ons so we didn't have to wait. Our room was newly remodeled and felt very modern and clean. We opted out of getting room service every day in lieu of a $60 gift card which was nice. We like staying at the Pop Century because of the value since we're only there to sleep and shower anyway. Now enough with reviews we are off to Magic Kingdom!
Nice hotel, rooms are a little small. Has a great pool near our room, there is a lot of stuff to do here. This is our second year in a row to stay here with a sports group. I'd stay here again.
Lovely resort, great food for the price and awesome staff
The Pop Century resort is definitely a catch for families big and small. I stayed here with my Family of four. Room was big enough for all of us to be moving around. The bathroom was nice and had doors to separate it into the actual bathroom and a small sink and closet area. The tree pools are huge, and the food is very good for quick service. Staff is friendly and helpful as always with Disney. I would recommend this to the frugal traveler still looking for a nice hotel.
My daughter and I stayed here for a short trip back in February and our first trip back in 2015. We were able to stay in one of the renovated rooms this last trip. For a value resort, it still packs a mean punch. Amenities and staff were amazing. Also, the max time you are on a bus to the parks is 15 minutes. Best value of the value resorts.
Lost our backpacks when we checked them into the hotel after getting off the magic express. they were supposed to be in our rooms when we got back from the park and they weren t. Called the front desk, was on hold for over 10 minutes, they then said they were found, and a runner would be up shortly to deliver them. My mom had a bad feeling about it and decided to get them herself. Turns out they lied and hadn t actually found them. My mom had to go in the back storage room to look HERSELF for our bags and found them HERSELF after about an hour. That s inexcusable. We were told so many things that turned out to be untrue. We were told we had luggage service to and from our hotel. That wasn t actually the case. My mother and I had to haul our 50 pound luggage all the way from our hotel room to the front desk. They wouldn t even let us use a luggage cart. Never staying here again.
Easy, cheap(er) resort on property. Food options have improved dramatically over the last few years.
Even the Disney "budget" resorts are great! Everything was clean and the employees were friendly and helpful.
Great hotel! The remodeled rooms are great. The luggage service from airport needs improvement. It took us 7 hrs to get our luggage to our room.
stay there overnight guest that was great time of the pool and fortunately we had lightning so we had to step out next day we went and had a great time
We stayed in the 80s section. They have multiple pools, a huge dining area, an arcade and a great gift shop. The rooms are spacious and clean.
Great room! Modern, clean and big! Doesnt feel like a value resort room! Just is very far walk from the main resort building
Great place. Getting my stuff a little dicey but definitely worth the stay.
Nice place for a Disney trip. Spent 4 nights here with the family and we all enjoyed our stay. They have the new skyline open so you get to 3 parks without puulictransportation. Yes rooms are on the smaller side buy they are clean and updated and very functional.
This Disney resort shouldn't be considered a value resort. I'd call it an extra value resort now that it's on the Skyliner! The little pools around each area are great and the little play areas and photo opp areas are great as well. Well themed and exciting for kids. The staff are great and really took care of us.
Side note: watch out for the corners of the Murohy bed. They are sharp and jump out to bite you in the shin.
Newly renovated rooms are 100% better than just last year. Housekeeping came quickly when I asked for an extra blanket and our room was fully stocked for our stay. Nice and clean as well.
Better than I anticipated! The services that Pop Century has isn't unique to the resort but seems standard across the budget hotels. One day, my roommate and I were surprised by a monkey made by the maids out of towels. It was such a nice unexpected surprise!
One note - public transportation service - seemingly convenient, but they really need to figure out how to handle disabled passengers. It seems to slow the process down by about 10-15 minutes. I think Disney could offer everyone faster service if disabled passengers and their families were offered their own rides.
Great atmosphere, food is good, buses very regular. Very happy here!
Glad to see Disney's updating this resort. Be sure to get preferred location, close to food court or bus stop, or you will be doing a lot of extra walking.
I was stuck at Disney pop century hotel during hurricane Irene. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was safe, did a great job entertaining the kids. I can't speak highly enough about Disney and will never stay anywhere else when I come back. Even without the hurricane Disney always goes out of their way to help everyone have a vacation of a lifetime,. Thank you Disney you made my birthday vacation wonderful
I we enjoyed the resort, but our room was really hard to find. We had to park in the 90s parking lot even though our room was in the 70s. We did like that the food but it was in app. Order only that also ment if it not on the app. Your not getting it. I will explain there where refrigerators that you could get sandwiches and other snacks and drinks out of last time this time those are not available. The other part we didn't like was no one told us that you have to ride on the gondolas to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. There's no buses from this Resort. The wait if you add it together from the esort was 25min then get on and are taken to the transfer station which took at least an hour if not more and this was just waiting in line . I can not imagine what it will be like when the other resort ( Art of Animation) opens back up they share the gondolas with this Resort I'm sure the wait time will double. We stayed at a resort this week at universal and it was so much better and cheaper and the food was better.
Excellent service and loved the newly renovated rooms
We haven't spent much time in our room this week. It's a good place to sleep and shower, comfortable beds. The gasket on the refrigerator was broken, but we didn't bother to ask the front desk for a new one. Overall good experience, I would stay there again.
Room was renovated and great. Staff/cast members were wonderful. Transportation can be a pain but is reliable. Great stay overall.
Was cool to see all the different things from mine & my children's childhood! Played oldies music also!
An affordable Disney resort experience. Nice food court and pool areas. There are a lot of kid activities throughout the day. The actual motel buildings are a bit dated but they are in the process of renovations.
Loved the room but I will be glad when Covid restrictions are over
Food court is decent, but the rooms are amazing. Customer service is pretty great as well. They have an arcade there that runs pretty cheap as well, so it gives you something to do late at night.
Awesome place to stay. Rooms are nice and spacious, always clean. Amenities are very nice as well.
This is one of the better value resorts at Disney. I just wish they had towels at the pools. Also for the price they should offer coffee makers in the rooms.
Great value resort. Rooms are small but space is well utilized with the Murphy bed. Newly remodeled rooms have a very modern look with very nice bathrooms. Very clean! Many usb outlets. Only complaint is that the doors that adjoin rooms are not very soundproof.
Great place for the family! Clean Hotel remodeled rooms. Friendly staff.
All hotels on Disney property are wonderful, even the cheaper ones. Pop Century has so many fun designs for the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. Always clean since it's up to Disney's standards.
