Great value resort with nicely refurbished and clean rooms. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Food court has a good selection even for picky eaters. Not a luxury place, but the lower room rates are budget-friendly in general.

I have often stayed at Pop Century since it was built, but the last time I stayed was horrific. The first couple of nights there were graduates outside of our room basically screaming until midnight, then the final night new people moved in... a middle school group. These children were constantly opening and closing the door until 2 am, when the front desk finally did something about them.

In light of things, the new renovations do look amazing and the staff did finally solve our problem and gave us a free night for the night we were constantly woken up. But, the noise level is far too loud.

If you're a family trying to do disney and waking up at 7 am every day, this is not the best option.

Great room and wonderfully themeing. A great option to stay on Disney property without breaking the bank. Wonderful combinations for a fraction of the prices for moderate and Deluxe resorts but the same Transportation direct from their hotel to anything Park

The rooms were clean and quite spacious offering two beds for 4 people. As well as plenty of pools to choose from. From hippy dippy to a computer pool (purely decoration). We didn't really eat at the hotel since we were out and about most of the time. Other than that we enjoyed many of their amenities. Such as a wake up call on your in room phone, extra hours in the parks and the ability to send our souvenirs to the gift shop in the hotel

This value resort is our favorite. Where else can you go where they let you swim after midnight after being at the parks all day and you just want to take a nice dip especially with kids. Plus they have a nice gift shop, arcade, nightly movies, daily pool activities, friendly staff, convenient laundry facilities, poolside bar and dining. We do tend to wait a lot longer or parked furthest away at the bus pickups than at moderate resorts but since kids have outgrown the stroller stage we find its a reasonable compromise with the value resort. So basically it's a reasonably priced place to rest our head 'til we do it all over the next day.

Just went back to this resort again. We stayed hear one year ago. It was a lot of fun. Very nostalgic for my wife and me (we're almost 50yrs old). Our 12yr old son loved all the characters and had a blast. The resort is kept clean and the staff went out of their way to make the experience out of this world.

If you are looking for a more affordable stay Pop Century is great. The room is about like a normal hotel room no extras. But if you aren't going to stay in the room a lot it is great. Also the pools are in the shapes of things past like a bowling pin but no extras like water slides. The food is just typical quick service options.

It was very nice but was expensive for they consider to be cheap. I'm used to paying $50-$80 a night for a good room. (Originally, I was going to stay off property at a room around this price. But, decided to go ahead and stay on property because it eliminated the need for a car rental with the buses and Magical Express)

This room was $128 per night with my discount. The room was clean and the resort was so massive. I rented a scooter to get a around better. I took a star off for the price, but otherwise it's great.

Please be warned that they do charge for calling out on your room phone. When I checked out, I was surprised to see a $10 charge and there was no sign anywhere in the room stating that it there was going to be a charge. But, the rep was nice on the phone and took off the charge for me, I really appreciated her for that.

My wife & I have stayed at Pop Century many times since they opened many Mango Seasons ago. We love this value Resort very much. It is for kids, adults w/o kids and a fun Resort to stay at. Reasonably priced. especially during non-peak seasons. The Resort has three pools, a food court, laundry room, kiddie play area, outdoor movies nightly, weather permitted or an event is hosted for the kids in the food court area. Nice thinking WDW Bus pick up & drop off for PoP Century only at their bus depot.
No matter where you want to go the busses take you there, one way or another. Awesome service.

One or two negatives I must share with you.
First, the bus stop area is not covered at all for those folks waiting in line. Rain or hot blistering Sun can ruin a persons day so be prepared. Bring a thin rain cover and an umbrella as well as a quality Sun Screen lotion. Waiting for an event or the Parade or a boat ride and for all the outdoor walking you are cooking in the Florida hot Sun. Children in Strollers are often over looked. Not deliberately but thinking the precious one or two kiddies are safe in the Stroller. Well father Sun doesn't care.
The little ones and the folks seated on the curbs are getting nuked, some badly. SUN SCREEN IS A MUST...

The room was nice. we did experience a few issues unlocking our door while we were there. The resort had many fun activities going on because of Halloween. It was a long walk from the main lobby to the building with our room. After walking for hours at disney for two days it was extremely difficult to find the will to walk all the way back to our room. I could only imagine what it would be like with children.

I stayed in Pop Century for my first Disney trip in May. Unfortunately I left a good amount of my clothes in the room when we left (t-shirts, shorts, some underclothes, etc)! The recovery service from the staff was amazing; I was connected to the lost and found and my things were shipped to my house (no charge) in one week. Other than that, the newly refurbished rooms were very nice & food options were pretty good. Fun atmosphere for a first time visit.

We have had a great time, following a slight hiccup with our bags for which we were compensated. The rooms are nice, quiet, and clean, and the food is always good. There are a lot of allergy friendly options.

My wife and I had great time , only thing would be lovely if the resort had wheel chair options offered off of the sky gondalas, we rented in the parks(scooters) but if y'all offered a temporary wheel chair access from the gondola to your resort would be awesome

Blaring tinny music morning till 10 p.m. at pools. Screaming kids create deafening roar in pool.
Paper thin walls to hear neighbor's every bodily function. The sound levels at All Stars are fine. Similar price yet much more pleasant.
Worst WDW hotel experience ever. BTW - they take payment online but to voice a problem...wait in line in lobby for a manager.
They have your $. Suckers...not guests.

LOVED it. VERY clean. Well kept grounds. Staff was 100% Disney and made you feel welcome.
Gift shop employees were excellent.
The food court "cooks" were great. Our only complaint was the checkout process with bracelet wasn't clearly explained. We figured out what was included and what was not by the 2nd day
But a few of the women who cash you out were a bit rude and acted annoyed we didn't get it at first.

We stayed the week on September 22nd and had an okay stay. I probably will not choose this hotel again if we go back to Disney again. The staff was all very friendly but sometimes were not very knowledgeable. I got a couple "I'm not sure go ask that person" responses. The food court is a crazy crowded loud mess all the time regardless of what time you go. The food was also pretty terrible. Housekeeping services varied depending on who was working. Our floor felt gritty the whole time we were there. The rooms are also not very sound proof so there was no sleeping in with all the noise. One of the worst things about staying here was the busses. The busses gave us such a headache everyday. Lines were so long and they smoosh you into them like sardines. On a positive note the pools were fun and clean and they played movies by the hippie dippy pool at night which we liked alot too.

This is one of Disney's economy resorts, so expect small rooms and lots of people in the dining area of the resort. However, since they redesigned these rooms in the last year or so, there's a lot of storage -- you can put your suitcases under the bed and there's a ton of storage in the bathroom, and the rooms are nice & beds are comfortable.

It's Disney World, anyways - you're not going to be spending a lot of time in the room.

My one complaint: make sure you check your coffee maker before using it. Mine was filled with bugs/pupa... really disgusting. The staff brought me a new coffee maker, but didn't take the bug-filled one! I ended up chucking it out the room.

To make matters worse... As I was packing up our things I spotted a ROACH crawling on the wall! We don t have roaches at home so I
know it did not come from us and all the time we been staying here we never seen a roach until now! Now I m going to have to triple check our things to make sure nothing comes back with us!

When we arrived we weren t greeted by a kind smiling face instead the employee looked bored or tired. We had tried to switch rooms to our other reservation but, the employee said they couldn t be switched. The room was small but, had enough room to function. The cafeteria was big and had plenty of options but, since I m allergic to gluten we had to get a chef to tell us what we could eat. The chef didn t come out for 16 minuets, and when he did he went over to another family who had just gotten there. One of our meals was excellent, it was turkey, with mashed potatoes and green beans. However, the burger was so, incredibly dry I ended up eating the other food. Overall it s an ok resort. The resort had lots of fun colors and themes. My favorite was the 80s.

As one of the least expensive options for Disney Resorts, it is definitely on the mediocre end of the spectrum. We stayed a week. - The rooms were small. Almost, too small. My wife, two kids, and myself had a hard time maneuvering around it with out luggage out and about. The bed was stiff as heck. Back hurt every morning. The walkway at the 50's building area smelled like "old wet mop bucket" for most of the week. We had no microwave in the room (though we had the ability to use the one all the way in the food court). The laundry area was decent. I enjoyed the lounge area. My kids watched TV and played free versions of Donkey Kong and Space Invaders arcade machines. -Of note was the baggage services area. I treated them as my concierge the whole week I was there. They were excellent. -The theme of the resort was good but could use a more themed touch inside the rooms. Pool areas were themed properly. Pro tip: get up early for breakfast. It gets packed fast! Try the omelettes! Overall a decent experience but nothing worth bragging about. Solid ***.

Amazing place to stay but we were located in the 90s building which is very far away from the bus station and the cafeteria, also people were able to smoke right on the balcony where children are without getting in trouble.

Rooms were a little small, however we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room. The dinning hall could have been more efficient, however for a "cafeteria" style restaurant the food was great. Every member of the staff (from housekeepers, maintenance, front desk) EVERYONE we encountered was friendly and helpful. The pool is huge but no more than 4.5 ft deep at the deepest, and they have a baby pool in its own separate area. We would definitely syay there again.

First of all let me say for the cost this resort is a decent value. The room was clean and well prepped, the main pool was clean and the cafeteria had a decent food selection. I loved the retro theme of the different buildings, the giant yo-yo and big wheel were awesome.

The main reason I gave it 3 stars is because when you advertise complimentary high speed Internet it should at least resemble something like the internet and not the nonexistent Internet of the 60's, 70's and 80's... I mean I couldn't even post my extensive park pictures to show what an awesome time we had because I couldn't load anything... Very disappointing!

I have stayed in the 60s building a few times. Very close to the front door and the pool.

Keep in mind this is a value resort so there are exterior corridors and it is on the back of the property.

Bring a car or be prepared to use the bus system.

We left the park filled with the Disney Magic which was quickly drained after standing in line for 45 minutes to check in at this hotel!!! We did the online pre check in which was a waste b/c we were never sent our room information. It was frustrating to say the least. The room was average which is ok as we didn't plan on being in the room long. The bed was terribly uncomfortable! I am also glad we brought our own pillows. The small amount of pillows provided were small and not very full. If you plan on using their pillows, I would highly recommend asking for additional ones. We do not plan on ever staying at a Disney Hotel again. I would rather drive a little bit further, pay less and get something nicer. Extremely disappointed.

Pros: the rooms have been upgraded and we loved the new style. The beds are very comfortable, and it was quiet at night. Also the cafeteria has a large selection and good food. Cons: the buildings are very spread out, and we were assigned to the 90s building which meant a very long walk to get to the busses and the cafeteria each day. Also, our first day there we had a hard time finding our particular building. The signage was not very helpful. The busses were hit and miss, and almost always had the longest lines (because it is such a large and popular resort). They need to add more busses serving this location however. Overall impression: not terrible for the value, definitely would have been better if we'd been closer to the front.

Excellent staff. Newly remodeled accessible room could house two ecvs even when using fold down murphy queen bed. Was an extremely tight fit, but it could be done. Pop has dedicated buses to the parks so that helps. We would leave early and only need to wait for the bus. Never had to wait for a second bus. Gift shop lets you ship home purchased merchandise from parks too - just keep receipts! We would stay here again for sure!

My husband and I stayed here in February 2019 and really loved our room! It was so clean and recently remodeled with the hardwood flooring and new bathroom fixtures, so it really felt like a home away from home.

Some of the other parts of the building we were in need some TLC though, particularly the rickety elevator of the 50's building. That was a little scary.

The food court was very large, plenty of seating, and the staff were super sweet. We loved this Disney experience at POP Century!

I really enjoyed this resort

I really enjoyed this resort
For the price (compared to other Disnry Resorts) it's impressive

Plenty of pools, a nice cafeteria with everything from burgers and fries to seafood
An arcade, plenty of room to go for a walk.

Customer service was stellar
And to top it all the room were amazingly cozy, comfortable beds, efficient use of space.

Don't go expecting to dine like a king, but for the pricing, you can't ask for more

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Lots of light, lots of outlets, lots of usb slots. There's a lot of interesting decor around the resort proper, though it is becoming (understandably) dated. Trams that run to and from the resort ate very convenient. My big complaints are the noise carries into the room pretty easily, and the free WiFi is spotty and slow.

I was pleasantly surprised with Pop Century. This was a last minute get away and really didn't want to spend a fortune on the room so I thought I'd give it a try. The room was refurbished recently and looked great. The room was so clean that you could have eaten off of the floor! The bed was very comfortable. To add a little more space to move around in the room they have changed the 2nd bed to a murphy bed. I found that to be wonderful and liked the layout. The mattress on the murphy bed was really comfortable too. Every cast member that I came across was helpful and friendly. The mobile ordering in the food court is really convenient & I will absolutely use in the future. I would totally stay here again and plan on recommending it to a few friends with upcoming vacations.
