My wife and I were shocked to think this may have been the best park of our trip. From Pandora to the Safari, it was amazing. We may even come back, stay here at the resort hotel and get a savanna room! Definitely do not miss the safari.
Best park for all ages. AK is more about the experiences than the other parks. Great shows, plenty of character meetings, great food, animals are easily visible and a wonderful message for children.
Pandora has a great river ride and a 3D simulation of riding a Banshee. That was really cool. The Festival of The Lion King sung its rendition of The Lion King soundtrack and amazing talented gymnasts, singers, and some special acts! Africa and all of Discovery Island was amazing! The safari was fun as well! 10/10.
A Beautiful place to spend your day. Not exactly "warm" in January, bundle up, its worth it!
Park is open at reduced capacity with social distancing & constant sanitizing. Masks are mandatory & cast members are constantly monitoring proper mask etiquette. Pandora is stunning and they really pulled off the floating islands. Flight of the Banshee is Soarin' on James Cameron steroids.
I had never been to any Disney. its been our dream to go. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing this place is. how awesome the staff and character staff are. my mother and kids and I had a great time.
I have never been treated so well. my mother needs a walker and every one that worked there was great( the other guests not so much.)I wish I could go again. it was truly amazing

Animal Kingdom was beautiful looking. Everything was nice for the most part, but I wish there had been more animals to see and it was a bit hard to find a lot of them. Also a lot of the restaurants required reservations, so if you didn't have one you either had to try to find a table in some shade or eat in the hot sun. The safari ride was probably my favorite ride. I wish there had been more rides. Overall pretty great experience, though.
If you are considering whether or not to go to Animal Kingdom, I have 1 word for you! AVATAR! Best ride I have EVER went on. Loved it.
Additionally, I like AK because it is one of the only parks where a family could walk around and be part of an ongoing adventure without having to wait on lines. There is plenty to see and do (like a zoo) to accommodate you when you wait for your Fast Pass.
Had a blast! Not enough time to go through the park though.
Been going for years no lot of the cast members and some of the head people there places so laid back and relaxing so much fun for the whole family
Spectacular experience. Lots of animals in very natural environments. Lots log shaded paths throughout the park. Be sure to take the Safari ride and attend the Lion King show. Both make the entire Visit worthwhile.

Not many thrill rides but you can still have a blast. Dare to explore Dinoland. We did for the first time and really enjoyed it. Stop at Rainforest Cafe for a great meal. The food stands are just overpriced indigestion.
Did a solo trip just to take pictures. Found it much easier to navigate when it's just 1 person.
The animal kingdom overall was fun and a good experience but the magic was lacking for what should be Disney. I hate to say this but dinoland felt old and run down.. maybe I missed something there but it felt like it was in a parking lot and the fair had come to town.
All in all we would go back and still had a wonderful time!
Love this park. It's a great park on a sunny day. There is plenty of shade to stay cool. The new Avatar section is really interesting. Great food throughout the park. Some decent live entertainment on the streets. Decent shops, but probably not as good as Epcot in that regard. Love the Safari.
It's the best of a zoo with rides. The safari takes you through the larger animal areas with great chances to see the animals roaming and intermixed (carnivores kept separate of course). This rose is a family favorite for the kids, parents and grand parents. Love the pandora landscaping and decor, try to see it during the day and again at dark.
I love the park but lines are too much even in low season. We were able to see only 3 Attractions. It would be amazing to consider using the same system as in Volcano Bay. Time spent in line is money not being spent in the park! Could be good for business
Animal Kingdom is a Great park to go to during the hotter periods of the year. It is one of the shadier parks. For those who "shadow walk" during the sunnier parts of the day, there are plenty of trees and lots of hiding spots from the sun. As always its a different experience every time we go to Animal Kingdom. You never quite know what animals are going to out. Today was great. Lots of new babies to see and half of the day was overcast, so much cooler! The food was unexpectedly great at Dino bite and even got some pictures with Scrooge Mcduck. All in all great day at the park. I always recommend this park.
This park I recommend for anyone that likes animals. We got to visit there on our December 2016 trip (first park day). We had breakfast at Tusker House, where I also got to dance (one on one) with Daisy Duck. My family and I also enjoyed walking on the nature trail. Seeing the animals, watching "The Festival of the Lion King" and taking some professional photos with their fancy backgrounds!!!
Always a great place to go with the kids. We all really enjoy the animals and the rides.
Till this day, Animal Kingdom still remains an amazing Disney Park with some beautiful sights, a lot to see and some fun stuff for thrill seekers, Disney has gone above and beyond for many of the attractions here and it shows.
The new Pandora area they made with the floating islands is absolutely gorgeous, you'll be at a loss if you didn't go and take some photos there.
The new Avatar rides are really nice and fun to experience as well but I doubt you'll get a huge thrill out of them if that's what you're looking for.
I'm happy with how far Disney has gone with Animal Kingdom over the years and all the effort they've put into this park.

Caring for the Giants tour: great experience. We did the first tour of the day. Met the lady elephants and baby Stella! the docent was knowledgeable and spoke to all sorts of fun facts about elephants! The tour lasts an hour, is reasonably priced and small (8 participants) Family friendly. Must have park admission (desperate).
This park is great for the animal lover. You feel like a true explorer. It the most unique with curved mysterious shaded pathways which provide a cool getaway in the summer months. OH LOOK THERES A TIGER!
I was honestly disappointed, a lot of the rides were closed along with many of the restraunts. It was our first time coming to disney and heard so many great things about animal kingdom so we decided to go there, just to find out we could ride like 2 things. No characters were dressed up for pictures or shows, except for the times you saw them floating on their boat in the distance. I wish it was a better day, the kids were bummed their first experience wasn't as they expected. Even the mask policy was crazy, trying to take a drink or eat without being harassed to put your mask back on was getting a bit irritating. Hate that we drove 15 hours for this. ..
A really beautiful and fun park. Felt it was actually kept cleaner than MK. My kids love the animals. Not a ton of small kid rides but my kids just loved exploring. Lots of character opportunities.
The pure beauty of all the plants and animals that are so well taken care of makes me forget about all of life's problems. And for a whole day I feel content and at peace with the world.
This was by far my favorite Disney park that we went to on the trip. I got to sit and watch two 4 year old Gorillaz chase each other up and down trees taunting and teasing over a zucchini. It was one of the most amazing things that I have ever seen in a zoo type atmosphere. The Safari was spectacular it would be cool to have an option to pay a little more and do it slower with a smaller group so you can ask questions.
The Mount Everest roller coaster was one of my favorites from the trip. I highly recommend doing it at night, when it's dark they don't have many lights and it feels like you could be on a mountain in the middle of nowhere.
This was definitely an awesome Disney experience! I've never been a big fan of Disney until now. My husband and I had such a fabulous time!! Pandora is beyond words. I was taken aback by its splendor
The African safari was incredible. We went early so as to see the animals before it got too hot. We spent just a little time in Asia only because we ran out of time The Pandora simulator is the most popular ride and well worth the wait in line I also loved the Na'vi River Journey!! If I could I would ride that all day

Better than most. Most rides closed or running reduced capacity. Parking lot construction. Fast passes not much use. Not as clean as Disney was once known for.
Great view and had to take a photo. The Pandora ride was a looooooooong wait but was well worth it. It's an AR/VR experience do not miss out!
Avatar World Is a must!!!! The 3D experience!!! Worth the wait!!! I recommend to do this first before you do something else in the park then Na vi river. It was an amazing and fun and magical no words can explain how beautiful this place is.

Probably the best value disney park, but again fastpass is useless unless you booked everything 30 days in advance.
Had a great time. My Son got me and his mom tickets 2019 and took us. Needless to say it was her first and last time her wish came true visiting Disney parks. She had a health condition and passed three month later her smiles radiate through the pictures of her visit. Life is short make time to enjoy don't wait. Went with my Son, Daughters family and grandkids this year

We absolutely love Animal Kingdom. If you haven't been in a few years, you have to go back. They've made so many great changes to the park.
My family and I visited Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park at the end of July! All of the safety precautions were in place for the new social distancing guidelines in Disney World. Before entering Disney's Animal Kingdom, you have to get your temperature check. There's 6 ft social distancing guidelines throughout the park, park rides, dining, and even entering the park. You have to make a reservation as well before entering the theme park. Right now, Disney World has reduced capacity through-out the park. Due to this, wait times for rides were less than 20 minutes. There was only one active show, Bird in flight, which we saw.
We saw a magnificent huge tree that was beautiful and we saw birds flying throughout the park. There are a lot of animals here such as the macaws, tigers, alligators, turtles, monkeys, hippopotamus and much more! Also, a lot of family fun activities to do. There was "It's a bug life" 3D show, where we saw puppets and 3D interactive show. One of my daughter's favorite activity was the Wild Life Explorer. There are plenty of rides to ride on at Animal Kingdom

We were able to get pretty much almost all of the rides in on the first day. We ended up coming back to Animal Kingdom a second day because we had to to Avatar's ride, finish the Wild Life Explorer badges, and ride Everest a few more times! This was by far one of the best park experiences we've had. We were able to take our time through-out the park and not rush around. We saw all of the beautiful nature that is a part of Animal Kingdom!
Went during the week and it was very relaxing not as busy as other parks, it did have long wait times in pandora side of the park. Loved having lunch at yak and yeti.

Animal Kingdom is probably the third best of the parks for whole family fun. Some thrill rides, some good animal exhibits, lots of Disney. I have to compliment them on their Corona virus response. The social distancing and mask compliance was exceptional.
Like the Na'vi River Journey ride cause of the shaman even though i dont go to disney animal kingdom

Best place for kids. Wilderness Explorer is a must do for everyone, be it children or the grown-ups. It is very fun and informative way of teaching children about mother nature and ways to protect the environment and endangered species.
The jungle safari was the best experience I had.
I love zoos and learning about our ecosystem. The safari was so much fun and all the animals were out. Expedition Everest was a great coaster, the food in this park was delicious and our favorite was the restaurant Yak n yeti. Recreated vistas, bits of Himalayan culture and the constant ability to be educated about what each of us can do for conservation. Pandora is so immersive, Avatar IS worth the wait; the ride is awesome.

This Disney Park was one of our favorites. The animals! The rides! The Safari! Pandora! My family had a blast!
Such a fun park. It's not too big so you can see the whole park in one day. It has several amazing rides, highlighted by Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage.
This park was favorable to me because of the unique rides they offered here including the Avatar ride and especially the safari ride. There were Soo many more animals than I had imagined, and the ride was fun in that Jeep-type truck. It rained (hard!) on our tour, making you feel even more 'in the wild'. Everything to eat or drink seems to be so expensive at any Disney park anymore, hence the four stars. I wish we could day we'd be back, but probably not because of the tipping point from a cost perspective. If you bought preferred parking, you can use that pass at any Disney park or property, as long as it's the same day and you can produce a receipt.
Loved all of it except it was very got in masks all day. Hand sanitizer everywhere.
Overall this park is amazing. I loved the themed areas being continents, and the rides corresponding to the areas. I had an amazing time here. I hope to come back soon.
Took the family and we had a great day. The lines can be long but that's kind of expected. The 3d avatar ride is awesome! Very clean and the workers all seemed to have a great attitude.
Loved the Lion King show. For Avatar if you can wait until the evening the lines are much shorter. We only waited in line an hour. The ride is awesome. We visited all parks and this was the best ride of all. Well worth the wait.
River of Lights is also very good.
Kids loved the Mount Everest roller coaster. Rode it about five times. The dinosaur ride is good too.
The roller coaster ride in dinoland quit running halfway through the ride. It took a little bit to get everybody off. But the part compensated Everybody by giving them 2 fast passes for any ride accept Avatar.

It was an amazing visit! There are many beautiful and happy animals! One of my favorite parks. The service is very friendly and helpful. Have you ever been to a country with fabulous animals? No? Then you need to go here
Wonderful experience. The level of detail is amazing. Hard not to be impressed with all aspects. After not going for many years it was great to be able to find high end dining and bars!
Really great park! I recommend getting there at least an hour early, to experience everything, such as the two attractions in Pandora(from the movie Avatar). Both left me blown away, and are something I think you should do on your Disney trip. There are other attractions like the Expedition Everest roller coaster and Dinosaur ride, both are thrilling, but not intense. Overall, a great park and experience for first-time vacationists, and previous visitors!
Truly an awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping park. The sheer volume of everything is difficult to put into words, but it's an incredible experience. Killamanjaro Safaris is one of the most surreal and natural animal tours you'll ever take. Pandora is literally like stepping into a different world. Flight of Passage is one of the best rides you'll ever ride. The Tree of Life is beautiful. Everything about Animal Kingdom works. There's something for everyone here.
First time in Animal Kingdom. I've always been told to skip this park because there aren't a lot of rides. It's really just a big expensive zoo. I did see a decent amount of animals here and there but it's not always guaranteed they are out. The Avatar wait lines are ridiculous and albeit Flight of Passage is great, it's not worth the 2-3 hour wait. Make sure you get a fast pass for this or go when they open. The Navi river journey is not all the hype. I would say pirates is better. Although I didn't hate Animal Kingdom, let's just say it still remains at the bottom of my prioritized parks when I visit Disney. If you're on a budget or strapped for time, I'd say you can skip.

Such a great Disney Park, to experience the most arrive early at any Disney or Orlando Park that is the key. A must visit, the park cannot be seen in only one day so plan accordingly. This is from our second day at the park.
It is clear that details are important to Disney. Everything is so well done. The "cast" is wonderful and the entertainment is outstanding.
Pandora area was spectacular! The tree of light show and the river of lights at night is a MUST! ! Go on the lazy river ride(not sure the exact name) in Pandora! Disney at it's best! Get speed passes ahead of time! 4 hour waits for rides if u don't. They will tell you could get those the date you arrive but that's simply not true.! Plan ahead!
Always a great experience at this park. Pandora ride was great, mount Everest was out of service, so my fast pass was lost. And no other fast pass were available... This park has live music shows often, and nice places to eat. They also have mini shows on a few sides of the park, pretty neat. The rides are awesome as usual. The Avatar ride was awesome and realistic. The end of the day show is a must, but you need to plan on getting there earlier to get a good seat. I was impressed with the organization and how they dispersed the crowd after the show.
Love this place. Can get hot out in the heat. Love the safari.
As a Floridian this was our 4th time visiting the park. There was no discount for residents unless it was a 3-5 day consecutive pass which most of us working cannot do. So, I paid $135 each just for a Saturday. The wait times for rides were longer as they socially distance passengers. 3 times now, still haven't done Avatar or Navi Journey with over hour wait up to 2 hours. Will not attempt again :/ I'm done .....
Great place to visit with family. Avoid Christmas holidays at all cost as there will be hours of line for every thing. Loved the safari ride saw so many animals including lion. We saw at night so take this ride early in the day so you can actually see the animals well.
My favorite and best disney park in my opinion. I love animals and many animals to see and experience here. Will come back again.

It's Disney people! The happiest place on earth . Animal Kingdom is my fave park. Plenty of places for shade and resting. The most environmentally friendly. Least crowded. Cool new stuff. Don't take my word for it, just go!
Avatar is worth the wait. That's all I can say!! The sign said 240min but we really waited what seemed to be a little under 2 hours.. dont trust those sign ppl. Just wait in the line. Ok so let me back up.... if you visit animal Kingdom you must take the tram the Sean is on.......OMG honey he is a too darn funny.... you will be cracking up all the way to the front entrance with his parking lot party.. look at his face in my pic. Find him if you want to laugh. He is hilarious. Hey Sean!! I hope you somehow find my review 5 stars for you honey. The lion king show was super awesome as well. Too bad the annual passes keep going up. Mine have officially expired and to costly to renew. So guys enjoy the park and eat in Africa...delicious!
As an animal lover, this park is amazing! We really wanted to experience the Pandora and Everest rides, but the lines were extremely long all day. We didn't want to spend the entire day just standing in line, so we made a point to spend more time viewing the animals. It was the best decision we made!
Walking through the smaller exhibits, watching the animals interact with each other was very peaceful. It's clear that Disney's conservation efforts are making an impact. All of the caretakers we spoke with took time to answer our questions and brightened up when talking about the animals.
Rafiki's Planet Watch is worth the short train ride. We have goats and donkeys at home, but we enjoyed chatting with Stefanie and Laura about the sheep and other critters wandering about.
Animal Kingdom is now our favorite Disney park!
Gourgous and amazing scenery. Our ride broke down while we were in line and the lady gave us fast passes for the wait. so kind 100% would go again.
Huge park. Lots of animals to see, great for families. Very stroller family. Gets packed If you wait too late to go. Plan to leave early. If can offer any advice, bring water and get a fast pass. You won't regret it. What you save in wait times and water purchases will definitely be worth it in the end.
I love the astounding beauty of the park, lots of shady areas perfect for Florida. The wildlife are spectacular and add a very cool layer of interaction to the park. The park is very clean too, I never noticed one thing that was out of place. Very well put together, and there's a seemless transition between regionally themed biomes, Asia has its own aesthetic feel, and then you get into Africa and are suddenly transported to an Outpost on the savanna. Pleasantly surprised by the addition of Pandora. The exotic plant species made me feel like I was really in the middle of an alien landscape.
I went in June 2019 and recommend:
1. Avatar Ride. If you go before 10 you could wait 90 minutes of less.
2. The Lion King live show. Acrobatics, singing, in air conditioning .
3. The safari ride. A bit rushed and the terrain is bumpy but great up close look at wildlife.
4. Everest is a great thrill ride. Fast and unpredictable.
Some lines were just too long! And some staff seemed overworked and not as happy as the last time we came to DW. But it is always a good time and we will always return!

Disney's Animal Kingdom has it all. Rides for the whole family, shows and attractions. Disney's Animal Kingdom is home to Pandora, which is where you will find Avatar's Flight Of Passage ride and also the river cruise. Disney's Animal Kingdom is also home to The Lion King , you can watch the live action Festival throughout the day. My favourite ride is Expedition Everest, it is a rollercoaster that takes you into the Himalayas where you are chased/accompanied by a Yeti. My advice is, this is a must see on any Disney adventure.

This park was mind blowing ! I don't know how a theme park could add a zoo/safari but they did ! And it was amazing ! I highly recommend getting fast pass because this park is busy ! The food could be better it was a bit expensive for what it actually was ! But besides that everything was amazing everyone should check out Asia it was the best ! The lion king show was good as well! Overall an amazing park if your unsure of what rides to pick just Google the best rides at AK and it will give u the ratings of each ride so you don't waste ur fast pass on rides that don't need it .
Relaxing environment, beautiful scenery, and the Safari ride was as realistic as I can assume it could be. Brilliant work by the imagineers.
I wish I could have given a 5 star, but a key few things were missing from my family's experience. The magic and smiles of Disney was there. With it being just opened and ticket availability reduced the lines were short and CDC guidelines were in effect. We missed the fresh popcorn being available at different locations in the park (just 1 that closed early) along with churros-none were found.
Longs lines limited the number of attractions we could see. If they truly cared about the guest experience they would limit the number of people in the park so no one has to wait more than 30 minutes for anyone ride. Not worth the money when you can only visit 4 attractions. Disappointing!
