One of the most beautiful Disney parks with the best attraction of all Disney World, Avatar. I you haven't visit Animal Kingdom you are missing the best Disney attraction. The park is Big and can be very cold at some hours. The ambient is one of the best of all the parks because has that mix of jungle and magic that you don't feel anywhere else. The big tree in middle of the park is an art masterpiece.
Had fun. So many people though..took an hour to get inside park once we got there, missed our first fast pass ride due to how slow they got people through window and gates. This was supposedly the slowest of the 4 parks and could hardly move in there for all the people .al rides had minimum 100 minute waits and zero fast passes available after using our 3, well 2 after missing first.
Part of our last leg during our Disney trip and it was amazing. We participated in cultural dances, saw the tree of life show and made it to the last safari truck show of the day. Though it was pretty dark and kind of hard to see the animals I had a great time. I saw hyenas, lions and rhinos. Also a couple of wildabeasts. Awesome!!!
Another great Disney theme park. Love the safari. Had issues with the fast passes and the three limit goes quick. We did not get to ride the Avatar ride becuae we could not get a pass and no way we were going to stand in line for 230 minutes. This was our grandfather daughters favorite park. She is an animal lover. Lots to keep little ones occupied however. Disney has this stuff down.
Kids loved the animals. Safari adventure was amazing and worth it. The Avatar simulation is a must if you are at this park. This wide simulating flight is a must no matter the weight time. The night show was nice, but could use more water so the images can be seen better.
Flight of passage in Pandora was amazing. Make sure you go there first right when it opens since the wait is usually over an hour unless you do it then. Or get a fast pass for it which runs out quick. The Safari was amazing as well. Also the parrots that fly around are beautiful and there's also monkeys jumping around. Also best food is the quick service place in Pandora. Not sure what it is called but you can't miss it. The rice bowls were awesome
If you miss AVATAR, then you just missed the Number One Ride at Disney!
This place has come so far since the last time I was there. If I had realized I would have budgeted more time to spend at this park on our trip. The Avatar ride is absolutely unreal. By far the best experience on a ride that I have ever had.
Loved the Avatar Flight of Passage Banshee ride, Na'vi river ride, and safari ride. During the Rivers of Light presentation, they experienced some technical difficulties twice and had to restart the presentation from the beginning. As it is said, the third time was a charm. The presentation of the lights, fire and water was absolutely beautiful.
The Tree of life is breathtaking. We really enjoyed seeing the carvings on the tree. We went to the park as soon as they opened since other reviews said that that s the time the animals are the more active. My favorite ride was the safari ride. We had a fast pass for this ride and we were running a little late on our time. We ran across the park trying to make it to the ride. Once we made it, a cast member told us that they give fast pass people a 15 grace time if they are running late. So there was really no reason for us to run. I think this is a great park for little ones. The Dino land is great. It has a couple of different rides that can be enjoyed with babies. (We had our 18 month old with us.) We ate at the Flame tree BBQ and it was great.
I really really recommend you to ride Banjee, a big bird in Avatar movie, for touring the Pandora world. This is the best attraction that I have ever ridden!
This park is our favorite. There's a lot more shade and it's spread out, so even if it's busy, it isn't as clostrophobic feeling. The ride times for Flight of Passage are always long, so be prepared, or try and grab a fast pass if you can.
We were able to get in Everest and Dinosaur within 15 minutes of getting in line. Every day is different, so look at My Disney Experience app for wait times.
Had an amazing experience at this park. This park is very climactic, fun, and also has stunning views. Even the roller coasters are very enjoyable and entertaining. I would recommend to check out this park as well as the other Disney parks. Here's some pictures of the park.

Animals are great here , avatar is good , wouldn't bother with the avatar boat ride as is not very good . The avatar flight ride is excellent but the queues are so very long and spoil the ride...shame. the park it's self is good but feels very old now and if it wasn't for avatar and the safari ride I wouldn't go again .
This is my favorite Disney Park. I love the night show and each area is unique and different. The Harambee village music acts are some of the best. We love the safari and the drawing experience at Planet Watch. The kids loved gathering up badges for Wilderness Explorers.
My favourite park out of all the parks, a great experience, some thrilling rides and great theming. The Avatar area is truly amazing and the Pandora ride is definitely worth the hour plus wait it can attract. The quick service on Pandora is also amazing with great quality food. The Rainforest Cafe is also another great experience and the food and service was brilliant on our visit.
This is by far favorite of all the parks. The entire experience is immersive from start to finish. My favorite ride is the flight of passage. Make sure to arrive an hour early and rope drop so that you don't spend two hours plus after the park opens waiting to get on the ride. Yak and yeti is an amazing place to have a seat for a minute and enjoy some noms.
Awesome atmosphere, went with the entire family. Some lines can be long but if you get there early ride a few of the big ones first then do some shows in between then everyone has fun and you stay busy. Also has lots of good places to eat at
I loved it here!!! I even have to give props to security for being on it-had a huge group and left our bags with one poor soul in our mix, but one got missed and left behind-it happens. I was so scared with all my money, lisence, tickets, etc. Inside. Apparently they have a policy of picking up things left behind, quite soon after spotting it left alone. So grateful for that!! It was a long haul back to get it, but there it was!
Anyway, aside from that great service the park itself was just amazing to walk around. I loved the Safari and African dancing.
Great park, I ll be honest though, my least favorite of the 4! The area is very swampy & that combined with Florida humidity isn t the most pleasant! A lot of the animals were hiding or not out because of the heat, so I only saw 2 monkeys and 1 tiger the whole time. Visually & aesthetically though, the park looks amazing, and is very authentic. I saw some iconic characters walking around the park. Wait time for Avatar is insane! I only went to Disney for 3 days but the wait time was at least 2 hours each time! I loved the shops though, I got a really nice Animal Kingdom pin. I will be back!
Hottttt! Tons of people during the summer and no matter if it's a weekend or weekday. Had fun though plenty to see and do. I suggest if you are with older ones or getting to tired or hot go to a 3D show like, It's tough to be a bug, or sit and relax in a shaded area by Pandora. Free water is at all good places not so much at the stands. Enjoy
I actually enjoyed this place. Way better than Epcot or Magic Kingdom....just bring your wallet...

Expedition Everest is the most adult of all of the roller coasters in Disney. And the Flight of Passage in Pandora is NOT TO BE MISSED.
That might be the most impressive amusement park ride I ve ever been on.
We were constantly harrassed and followed the entire time about the face mask. Others around us didn't have mask on and nothing was said to them
Had a fantastic time at Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Safari ride was one of the highlights of our visit. There are also some great restaurants to eat at in the park. We found a little Lounge that was a nice Retreat from all of the walking that we had to do at the park that served good and reasonably priced alcoholic beverages for adults. Make reservations on the app if you want to go to any of the better restaurants or you will be disappointed because they only take reservations. Love the parades and all of the folks in character.
Avartar flight of passage is outstanding. Great park great food exceptional environment. Kids will love it.

I think Disney should have a limited amount of people in the parks. The lines are very long upto 3 hour wait. We were only able to ride 4 rides even using the fast pass. The tickets are to expansive for only 4 rides.
Great park, not as crazy crowded as Magic Kingdom. Avatar ride was definitely cool, tho maybe not worth waiting anything over 2 hours in line.
It was my first time visiting Animal Kingdom this past Wednesday and it surpassed my expectations. For the most part, I enjoy amusement parks mainly because of the roller coasters. Although this park doesn't offer as many traditional roller coasters like those at Busch Gardens per say, I still enjoyed it. Rides/shows that are a MUST include: Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari, Avatar Flight of Passage, and The Festival of The Lion King. They are totally worth the wait if there are no fast passes available. Excellent park for all ages that truly captures the magic of Walt Disney.
The Avatar ride was amazing! Had to wait about 2 hours but was worth every minute. When we left the park at 3pm, the wait times were an astounding 4 hours. Make sure you reserve fastpass in advance to reduce your wait times.
It's an amazing theme park. Lots of stuff to do there and tons of animals to see. Went with my family on Christmas break and I had a blast. Definitely recommend checking this park out!
Amazing time! The lines were a bit long but the experiences we're still amazing. Loved the Kilimanjaro safari especially. The Avatar ride, Flight of Passage is worthy of the hyoey, but try to secure Fast pass or get to the park really early if you want a short line!
I was going to skip this place and I'm really glad I didn't from the Avatar ride to the amazing Safari unbelievable how many animals I saw in one day just incredible this was an incredible place and the roller coaster was super great the water ride was closed which was a bummer the fast one but other than that everything was top-notch here. Loved seeing the gorillas, elephants and all animals up close!!!
There are so many animals here it's insane! You have to make sure you don't down play this park and confuse it with a zoo or something like that. It has so much magic and great rides.
The big tree is lit, the cast members are lit. Bugs life is also... Lit. You won't believe it, but you can actually meet Doug from Up!
There are lots of shows and characters to see. Spend the day here, and tell them I sent you!
Perhaps in the end it all boils down to a matter of taste but I loved our experience at Disney's Animal Kingdom it probably didn't hurt that the park has three of my favorite rides out of all the Disney parks Avatar flight of Passage, Navi River and Expedition Everest. All three rides leave you with a slight feeling of sadness when they're over, simply because you don't want the experience to end they're really that well done. They will definitely leave you with memories that you will cherish forever and although its only been a month I am ready to go back and experience it all over again.
I did not like animal kingdom at all. We visited animal kingdom with our young daughter.
Earlier we were confused whether we should go to animal kingdom or magical kingdom.Finally we decided to go to animal kingdom as we visited magical kingdom few years back.This was worst day of our vacation to Orlando. Half of the rides were not working there and there was a waiting for 2-3 hours for the remaining rides.So we could not do a single ride except the one kid ride. No body can stand in long queues with a kid for 2-3 hours.
We visited sea world the previous day. There was a waiting for 15-20 mins max. One of us used to hold our daughter and other was doing the ride and then vice versa. Here In animal kingdom,if we went by that plan then it would have taken us 6 hours to do a single ride.
If half of the rides are not working then animal kingdom should control the footfall.People spend their hard earn money to visit these parks.
We always have a wonderful time. The best zoo you will ever go to! Plus there are amazing shows and fun rides. Parking lot could be safer.
We went during the Covid-19 and they were very clean and not too busy. They did a great job making sure everyone was keeping safe. The food was great and the rides were fun!
I love seeing the animals in natural settings. The Kilamanjaro Safari and the Maharajah's Expedition I found to be exceptional. CAUTION: This is pretty much all outdoors. In the summer, that means high temperatures and humidity.
This park was the biggest hit with my boys, ages 5 and 7. My wife and I enjoyed it the most as well. The experiences at Animal Kingdom are unmatched by any other theme park we've been to in the country. The rides are fun, but the atmosphere is what truly impresses.
So much about this park is good, but I couldn't give it 5 stars because of the inconsistency of the cast members. Some of the cast members went out of their way to make the Disney experience special and memorable for the guests. And then there were those who clearly didn't care what they were doing or the experience they were projecting to the guests. This tainted my opinion of Animal Kingdom. The theme park itself was great.
It doesn't matter the age you are You will always feel like a kid
Maharajah Jungle Trek - never understand why there are always so few people enjoying this walk. But it does make for a nice quiet respite from the crowds. Then a ride on the train to Conservation Station. Top it off with a stop in Pandora to eat at Satu'li Canteen. And you have a nice relaxing not normal Disney day.
Loved it. The park is a must see. My grandson was amazed at the animals. Loved the lion king show. The festival of lights was beautiful.
Fun place for all ages. Not all attractions are rides, so it's nice to walk around and see things without having to wait for hours.
Rides had a great variety. Ranging from slow rides, to dark and scary, and bigger thrill rides with bigger drops. Definitely one of my favorite places for all range of rides.
There is also safari rides and the fairly new Pandora area which seemed nice if I had a chance to visit. The waits there are absourd and have seen it reach three hours! Who waits three hours for a five minute ride? If you do bless your heart!
Love everything here. Flight of passage in Pandora is a must do. If you want a great deal on food make sure you go to Satu li canteen.
The Avatar land Pandora is just magic. The ride is amazing! After that, probably the Everest rollercoaster. Still, the park lacks a couple of attractions to be excellent.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is always a fun experience. Great for the family. Never a disappointment with entertainment. The team that they have working at the park are super friendly and very helpful. It's always a pleasure dealing with one of the staff members. I have to admit the one perk for us adults after running around with the little ones tiring them as well as ourselves has to be the delicious choice of alcoholic beverages they offer. All that running around from shows then heading toward the next ride attractions can be exhausting. A cold one is always nice at least in my opinion. There is a bit of everything at Animal Kingdom for all ages. I love this place

My family absolutely loves Pandora here. The Flight of Passage ride is a must do if visiting. there is also a dinosaur area that is popular with smaller children and adults alike. This is my sons favorite park.

Very nice experience. The Avatar section it's amazing to see. The rides are not worth the two-hour wait but the village of Avatar that lights up at night and it's beautiful. The Safari ride is worth visiting because it's nice to see the animals in a simulated natural habitat.
A-ma-zing park! Beyond any Disney experience I have ever had. Without a doubt the best park in Walt Disney World and worth at least two days of your trip. It has so much you are looking for: animals, wild rides, beautiful scenery and a real life Pandora. One pro Disney tip I will hand to your my devoted reader, is this: complete the wilderness explorer's quest. The sticker is completely worth listening to an undergrad explaining what symbiosis is while you hold a medical degree and practising license.

Absolutely incredible! Children and adults alike will find this animal kingdom magical. With the cultural experiences blended with the wildlife and even some Pandora from the world of avatar thrown in this place is indeed magical and will not disappoint. Also make sure you stay for the festival of lights it will blow your mind with beauty.
Great park, with a mix of animals and rides. Good for all ages. One of the warmest places so dress in layers. There is a lot of green spaces to help break up the park. The new Avatar area is a great place to get lost and find your inner child. There is a great play ground in the park to let your kids undwind and burn off the extra energy and stress of moving from one place to another.
Wearing a mask in 90 degree weather was awful. Most restaurants are closed too, Tiffin saved the day, pricey but excellent food and environment. If it wasn't for the Flight of Passage we would rather go to Magic Kingdom or Epcot.
An amazing theme park. The Avatar ride is incredible: one of the best I have ever done. Interesting theming and amazing to see the Lion King show.
It has improved since I've visited 5 years ago and they only had the everest ride. The best ride is Avatar Flight of passage, honestly the wait is totally worth it, and you spend almost 5 min on the actual ride so a 5/5 from me. The other pandora's attraction, the one with the river, dont even go there if the wait is too long, is not really that great. The safari is really nice and also the festival of the lion king. Everything else is meh, not really that good, including the light show at closing time. It really needs another thing to make it more worth the price.
Loved seeing the animals on the safari bus ride. Did NOT like the crazy long lines for Pandora. BUT the pandora flight ride is hands down the coolest, most high-tech, virtual thrill ride ever!!! We only had to wait 80 minutes to ride it and it was HOT outside. But if you get Disney tickets at least 2 months in advance perhaps you can get a fast pass? None were available for us 1 month in advance so check that out ASAP!
Amazing park, went in August. Of course it s hot but there are several areas to cool down and take a break!
All Covid related safety measures are taken seriously and the fact that the capacity is lower right now, it's a refreshing way to visit. The park is beautiful and clean and staff is always helpful.

What's not to love??? (Except the prices.) Beautiful theme park with different "lands" to visit. Amazing rides and attractions. Minus 1 star though because wait times for rides are absolutely ridiculous unless you have a fast pass. Even then, some rides like Flight of Passage are impossible to book fast passes for - even weeks in advance. Without a fast pass the standby wait time for this ride was over 3 hours.
I had a FANTASTIC day at this park today!! The park is clean, the shows I saw were TERRIFIC and the rides were a TON of FUN!!
Amazing. The public safari is lacking but it's either that or spend 200 bucks a person to get a private one. Spend the money. You are stuck in assigned seats and probably on one side of the truck and cant hardly see the other side. Otherwise this park the exhibits are immaculate and engaging. Bring your little ones and do the little explorer experience. Cool cultural displays and demonstrations.
This is one of my favorite parks, it has dinosaurs, yetis, Pandora, the tree of life and really seems magical. The canteen in Pandora is one of the best lunch places we've found and remember you can get alcoholic drinks with a meal credit as part of your lunch. It's the theming of this park that makes it so excellent, it might be a little shorter on rides, but the experience is worth it and you can go on safari. It also seems like the most diverse in terms of experience, there are several lands in this park, enjoy! Though the line up for Flight of Passage is ridiculous, a fast is definitely a necessity, it is an amazing ride, do it at least once.
Love this park! So many different things to see and do, and now with the parks being lower in capacity it's actually a joy to walk through!

I think this has won out from the other parks as the family favorite. It's conservation-minded, educational, fun, and best of all, it has much more shade to stand in than any of the other parks. Also, in each land there's at least one ride that the whole family enjoys and I can't say that for the other parks (for now...looking at you Epcot). This park's food options are also pretty yummy and I think only Epcot beats it with variety and flavor. The world tree is something of an experience too. It gives different experiences from when you first enter to when you get up close and personal. Definitely worth a visit (or several).
I gave five stars for the employees and the Animals Mister Disney has to do something with putting in fan especially when you go on Safari the line was long over an hour and we roasted
Just to let everyone know that with their covid precautions I felt safer here than shopping at Wal-Mart.
This is my favorite park, this one has the most shade out of the 4 in WDW. Lots of animals here and they treat them all so well. There is no fireworks show here but there is an amazing light show, Rivers of Light.
So much fun. Ride the Flight of Passage in Animal Kingdom. This ride felt so real. I had a smile on my face the whole time. When it was over I don't know if the tears were the fact that it ended or the happiness in my heart. What an awesome imaginative wonderful ride
Probably my favorite disney park especially appearance wise! Easy to spend an entire day here no problem, if you want to visit the rides in Pandora I reccomend going first thing in the morning as the lines quickly go up to wait times of over two hours, even at the less busy times of year, the safari is also a long wait however definitely the most worth it! Takes around 20 minutes to go around the safari and you'll get a different experience each time, the lion king show was incredible, and I reccomend using a fast pass for this if possible to guarantee access, definitely a must see show. The nemo and friends show was OK but more aimed at children! Cant wait to return here, their rivers of light show was amazing also.

I love Animals, and I want to become a biologist, and in the bird area, there was a very nice zookeeper, in which we talked about which colleges and degrees would help. Even though we went during Corona, it was still amazing!! We saw so many animals, and I'm absolutely amazed at the Pandora park. It's so awesome! The 3D ride was incredible
My wifes favorite park of all Disney has. The park was open but crowds were very small. The day was very hot but since no crowds there were almost no lines anywhere. Love this park.

My girlfriend bought tickets to animal kingdom. I hadn't been to the parks in over 20 years. Plenty of dining options and some even have gluten sensitivity menus. Pandora area was amazing and the rides were well worth the wait. There is so much to see and do. I have to say it was a magical experience. Thank you Disney for making the day one to remember!
Disney is doing a great job following the COVID rules. I felt safe. I love the shade , beautiful landscapes, animals, and the Pandora part of park and Avatar ride is amazing.

It was a great vacation and Animal Kingdom helped make it great. We saw live animals , ride a train. All kinds of things for kids and adults to enjoy.
If you can get over the steep entrance price, there are a couple of neat things to do here. The safari is pretty good, as is Everest (Rollercoaster) and the Dinosaur ride. The parking situation, like all Disney resorts, tends to be a nightmare. Security can take a while, particularly if you have a bag. There aren't that many animals to see. In my opinion, if you want animals, go to a true zoo. If you want rides, go to a true amusement park.
Disney's Animal Kingdom is a park that is capable to make real your childhood fantasies.
The beauty of the place is indescribable. High tech intelligence has made possible to be part of the Avatar movie scenes flying through out of imagination and beyond.
Festival of lights is superb. I was speachless.

Character dining - characters were extremely attentive and spent extra time with my child.

Cons: Tough to enjoy. Lines and crowds were overwhelming. Couldn't wait to leave. Almost feels unsafe. Food is disappointing. River rapids ride was quick and boring.
My family absolutely loves the Animal Kingdom! We thought that going at the beginning of the new year would mean smaller crowds. Ha! No such luck. Still, we had a wonderful time, were very impressed with the beautiful nighttime additions over the past year or so, and it still has that Disney feel!
It was great. Pandora is awesome along with all the other locations. Don't expect a lot of rides like magic kingdom. This also can be done maybe in a half day, if you don't care to see the shows and just wanted to ride the rides that are offered.
One of my favorite multi-day parks. Don't let people tell you it's only a half-day park. They are wrong. If you are visiting Walt Disney World for a week, Animal Kingdom is work spending an extra day, at least an extra half day if you are short on time. You can't do it all in one day.
It s Disney what else can you say ? It s expensive but trust me you re getting exactly what you pay for. Your experience is going to be truly magical.
I think this may have been my favorite park. The attention to detail is incredible and makes for such an amazing experience. I can see why people can't wait to come back. Fast pass is definitely the way to go though. Especially if you're not used to FL heat.
My sister and I are annual passholders that frequent Epcot and Magic Kingdom. We decided to pay for the After Hours experience at Animal Kingdom, $95 per person including popcorn, ice cream, drinks, spectacular customer service and best of all NO WAIT for any ride they kept open including Dinosaur, Everest, and both Avatar rides! I felt like a millionaire renting the park for the night! If you are questioning whether this experience is worth the money, it is.
Pandora!!! The rides, the animals awesome park. Will not be disappointed
