Great for kids, also interesting for adults. Hands on things for them to do.
Great for kids, also interesting for adults. Hands on things for them to do.
We got the yearly membership, good place to take the kids when you want to tired them out. Love the dinosaur exploration in the back and the groceries/ recycling game upstairs. Does need some updates, but for less than $99 for a year pass, good places to have kids run around in doors.
Two stories and spread out... Didn't seem like a lot for kids to do... Lots to see. Preschoolers spent all day in traveling exhibit Doc
My 2 and 4 year old grandchildren LOVE this place!!
Wonderful place to lean Physics with hands on activities. Very clean and modern. Our presenter was well prepared and made us feel very welcomed. Our Kids from Calvary Christian had a Blast. Can't wait to return!! GOD BLESS!
Great place for children to learn and spend quality time with friends and family
Fun place to take children older than 5. Not many activities for the younger crowd
They have a nice verity of exhibits. It was a little crowded witg summer camp kids the day we were there. The dinosaur exhibit was nice. Don't miss the helicopter flight over Orange county you get to see some parts of the country you never saw before.
Didnt get to go outside due to the Rain but overall kids were entertained!
My son loved this place! It was amazing never been but lots of fun. There was a lot to do and lots of interactive things my son is 7 and this was perfect for him.
My kids loved both of Discover Cubes in Los Angeles. Thanks a lot for a
a lot of fun.
Large museum but the only thing they lack is a play place.
Very fun to take the kids. Educational and entertaining. The changing temporary exhibits keep it fun on multiple visits. Decent price for family membership. Food options to purchase, or you can BYO and eat in the cafeteria.
Great place to take your kids, our 3 year old loved it
We were on vacation and The Discovery Cube was near by so we decided to take our boys, age 5 and 8. It s was definitely a neat place to visit but nothing I would make a point to visit again.
Fun place for all ages! Took my 2 year old daughter, my 15 year old nephew and my wife and we all had so much fun!
Great place to take kids especially with the new teenage mutant ninja turtle exhibit.
We are Santa Ana residents so we get in free on the 1st Tues of each month. As we are 2 50ish adults, this was the first and last time we will visit. Most of the interactive displays were aimed at young children (4-7ish). Several of the exhibits were closed or not working. The best one that was open was the flight similator in the Boeing area where you create your jet in a VR program and then fly it. That was pretty cool, I must say. If you're watching your spending then warning: the food and drinks are expensive.
The Impossible Science Show and the Anice and Beyond exhibit are Amazing!!
Fun place for kids to learn a lot about physical science and conservation. Parking is always bad and a sixth of their exhibits are run down or broken
loved it. bring yo wallet! lots of other paid activities.
The cube is awesome. Sometimes I feel the staff could do a better job reseting the exhibits between use, but at the same time. This is a place for small children to run around and play, so keep that in mind.
Our favorite play place! There is so much to do, they change activities often and even the food is healthy and affordable! We're so happy to have an educational place to explore and play. The membership rates are very reasonable and makes it easy to always have a fun place to go.
This was a great experience for the kids and adults. There are tons of interactive exibits that help kids to learn in a fun way. We did a healthy cooking class. There was a small extra charge but it was fun and engaging. There is a ton of stuff for the kids to play with. Everyone learns something new.
Love this place. So many hands on things to do. Prices are reasonable even for the annual membership. So glad we found this museum.
Love the second floor. 1st floor is okay. Parking is too small, but they have aquire the parking across the street.
Long drive from the inland empire. Fun for the kiddos.
Memberships are totally worth it for locals. Easy weekend trip for the kids to just get out of the house. Food is great and healthy too! Spent 3 hours there today. So much to do and play with. Great spot for play dates when the weather isn't sunny. Highly recommended. Every staff I've come in contact with have all been friendly with smiles and willing to help.
Review for recent Birthday party. DO NOT, repeat DO NOT book here. From the booking to the extremely poor communication I should ve taken it as a sign things would go wrong the day of. They did. I emailed guest list twice, show up & they don t have it. Good thing I brought a copy. No one to help us unload car. No one ready. Now our party is scheduled for 1 hour after opening so...why are they not ready?!!
We booked water room, looked cute from pictures. See pictures....Room is DARK. What kind of place has a dark party room?!!
The party cost includes party room for 2 hours. We show up at our time and room is not ready. Isn t the point of paying an arm & leg is that things are done for you? Nope. So lost about 20 minutes there. Then food later than anticipated. Then when time to cut the cake there wasn t a knife ready to serve the cake. Now, if you are having kids party, with cake, shouldn t knife be ready? Our host acted surprised. So another 10 minutes to wait for a knife.
If you are still reading and still considering booking a party then next part just great. Now you know how room wasn t ready on time?! Well they made sure we were OUT on time.
Only good part was we left the mess behind!
Look elsewhere for a party!
I love having my kids go to educational places like this. They constantly have different attractions
Not good for very little children. The displays are much more engaging for older kids, like 10-13. And it was very crowded for little kids.
Very interactive & educational. Staff very knowledgeable & friendly.
Great place to go for kids to have fun AND learn at the same time... everything in there, well almost everything, is a hands on experience, and kid proof.
I see a lot of schools taking field trips here. And you also should check out the 3D theater, I think they have different short movies every 2 hours.
The food court they provide is healthy and they have a separate adult menu.
I wasn't impressed with it. We went to the other one in LA and it was funner for the children. More to do.
That place is good. I enjoy it there. All of these activities we're good.
My grandchildren had a fantastic time here. Bubbles show was l excellent.
Really cool museum, but better for 6 years old and up. Not a lot to do there with a toddler.
When I went here when I was a kid, I had a total blast!
It s a good addition to our activities. We bought the yearly pass because we were also going to be traveling outside the 90mile area to take advantage of the museum pass at another city.
Activities were great. My son loved the dinosaur area and the hockey exhibit. He is 3yrs old and the only thing I wished was a few areas had a step up section so that he could see things at eye level.
The field trip participants added to the crowded feel but once they started to leave (1pm) then it got better.
Kids had fun running around playing with the doc mcstuffins
Is a super nice plece for the kids. They always have something new.
Such a fun place for ages 3-10! My kids love this learning place.
Good place for kids to play and learn while parents can relax and learn something new
Great hands on science. Not enough activity for the older 10 - 13 sciece learner.
Perfect place for kids. We also did a cooking class here and that was very hands on and fun!
Awesome exhibits! Recommend you take advantage of the family pass $125 for 2 years!
Great traveling exhibits - amazing permanent educational ones. Unfortunately the latter is showing the age of the place and quite a few are broken and non functioning.
I would give this 4 stars however many exhibits do not work or are broken. As a member I have complained. The new Dino exhibit is pretty cool though.
We bought a 2 year family pass for the Bubblefest and laser show. It has definitely been worth the price! The membership also allows you to visit the other 2 Discovery centers they own in LA/Newport Beach and other museums that are 90 miles away for free or a discount. We take advantage of this when we travel for the year. I recommend purchasing the parking pass also since there is not much parking near the Discovery Cube. The first time we went we did not have the pass so we parked down the street at a restaurant but, I did not like having to walk with my kids over an overpass. This place is very big and my kids mainly enjoyed the shopping and the outdoor rocket. The Bubblefest and laser show was so fun for my 7 and 9 year year old girls and they loved all the exhibits there. They also enjoyed playing with bubbles after the show and we hope to do it again next year during March. They had so much fun that we didn't get a chance to even see half the Discovery Cube so we returned on Memorial day weekend to see the Dinosaurs and take a healthy cooking class. We enjoyed the cooking lesson and even ate all the burrito we cooked. This class allows 4 people to a station but an adult has to be there to help the younger ones with the cooking. Another good thing about this place is that they serve healthy food alsoA
Didnt like it,too many kids running crazy thru place
Kids had a lot of fun. There used to be a taco bell inside. Now there is a healthier bean sprouts.
Lots of fun things to do. Great for child wide range of age. Your child can easily play for hours. Though some of the electronic devices aren't working, but most of them are well kept.
Very interesting things for the whole family. Only problem I had with it was parking was limited and it was sooooo hot in there.
Discovery cube is a fantastic place to learn more about science and about mother nature. I like their year around exhibits. My favorite is the eco system recycling set up exhibit on the second floor. Leah Avilez age 11.
A great facility with lots of educational opportunities for kids
My kids like coming here when they switch events, it's pretty cool but their old fixed exhibits really need to be fixed. What happened to the rockets?! But bubble fest every year is a must go! It was great. Also if you get the annual pass, don't skimp on the parking pass too. Two trips and you make your money back.
My kids love it! We have passes and there is always something new, fun and educational.
My kids have been coming here since they were toddlers and my oldest is now 8. We live in NorCal now and look forward to coming whenever we're in town. Our favorite thing by far is watching the Bubblefest show in the spring! My son's favorite regular exhibit is the hockey area. He loves to practice his slap shots and being a goalie. My daughter loves to ride the Zamboni. The recycling game and shopping area is always a hit as well. Then there's the outside play that we usually end with. We love the ASTC network of museums
We had a large group visiting from Utah. We ve been to many children museums, and this one wasn t our favorite. Many of the exhibits used tablets which the adults had to help all the 6 and younger with. We felt that there wasn t enough for our kids to explore and experience without adult help.
If you re looking for something where your kids can roam and do things on their own, pass this one up for another.
The cube is a great place for younger children. It is busy on the weekends, but if you can go on a week day it's great.
This place is very educational for kids of all ages. It was just so packed with people that you had to wait in lines to do any of the different activities for hands on learning. It was worth it and my daughter had fun. If you have young children I definitely recommend this place for some educational fun.
Took my granddaughter she loved the interactive display will take her back. parking wasn't planned very well lot was full had to pull out of parking lot at the museum and park across the street ,but all and all she was happy
The kids love coming here so much we got season passes. There are always seasonal events like bubblefest, Star Wars, or summer camp to change things up. The dino dig is our current favorite, but the recycling race is not far behind. Parking is plenty and can be free if you get creative.

Great family place to just hang out and learn some science. Often they have special activities for young scientists to enjoy but even the older ones will have some fun.
